Aiden hadn't really thought a lot about kids of course as he was growing up. Who the heck did? That would have been weird. Plus he had his tail Aether...it had it's own mind, and personality. While a bit derpy, he didn't really fault his tail, it wasn't like it was a truly fully fledged creature..it depended on him. Smiling thoughtfully, the hallowed hybrid gave a stretch as he trotted up the stairs leading to his home. He worked as a programmer, with lowkey levels of interest in the fashion industry, he, however, generally kept on the down low.
For the most part, he lived comfortably. His oddities with being hallowed while some liked to point out, or even hold against him he truly didn't care. Aiden had long since moved past being worried about things that were beyond his control. The reality of course was...he wanted a family. He wanted to pass on his odd magic and energy to the next generation. He wasn't getting any younger, and with being financially stable, it was something he could more readily consider. Aiden wanted a mate..or Pack of some kind, even a friend, lover...any of that would be nice. Even if he ended up raising a child on his own, would it really be so bad? He could start his own pack gradually. The thought crossed the hybrids mind as he looked sat down in his empty living room.
Sighing Aiden laid himself back in a semi-dramatic like fashion. Flinging an arm over his face he closed his eyes. His thoughts were troubled and scattered. It was a lot to consider, what if they ended up hallowed like him? The thought made him raise his arm off his face as he raised his brow. That wasn't really that bad. He'd turned out alright, despite everything. Plus, it wouldn't just be his magic combined. The thought made him hum thoughtfully. Maybe it was time to get back into the dating and bar scene. Who knew what that would turn up? Aiden's tail twitched, the grim portion swishing with consideration.
Aether's attention shifted, head turning to face Aiden. It's yellow tongue slithered out...flicking against the others cheek as if it sensed the others restlessness.
Aiden blinked at the other, before chuckling as his paw reached out, smoothing it over the top of the creatures head as he coaxed his tail closer. Sighing he leaned on Aether as he closed his eyes. "I dunno, Aether we'll see what happens I guess eh? Who knows maybe we'll find some cutie who we end up falling for!" He grinned at the idea. "Or cuties..I don't really mind." He mused. Shrugging he closed his eyes and leaned into the comfort Aether provided. The worst that happened was he sat here and sulked like this without exploring his options. The best case scenario...was a little bit of fun and chaos turned out to be a rewarding experience. Aiden also figured even if it was just a stone he walked away with...when he chose to awaken it, would, of course, be on his own time. That was oddly comforting.
