The feel of the grass under foot, the smell of the trees lingering in the air and the scuffling of prey near by and the seemless blending of the young dark skinned lass within the shadows of the bushes. It was a perfect scene for anyone who knew how to hunt, they would know the game would be a foot as golden eyes peered through the brush to stare at the large rabbit that was sitting and nibbling on some blades of grass not too far away. The woman moved one leg out stretched in a strange manner as she moved sideways silently, the tanned leg moved with precaution as it was carefully placed and her body contorted to match the movement that allowed no sound to alert the large beast. Heart steadily thumping as she remained calm and slowly approached the big game and then it's ears perked up, in a split second she was on top of the rabbit drawing her knife across it's throat and pinning it down with her larger body as she would silence it and end it's life. Breathing out she would stand as she would pick up the game by it's ears and bring it over to a basket she had, opening it with ease she would glance over the items she had placed inside from her earlier travels today. Wild garlic, onion's, carrots, potatoes and squash were all placed within, she'd place the rabbit on top after it had bled out fully and closed the basket, smirking the woman would pick the basket it up and pull it over her shoulder. As she walked back to the town she would pick a bundle of herbs on her way and tie them with thin pieces of fabric, "Stew tonight. I get rice though..." she murmured knowing she'd have to make a second trip out to the rice paddies on the south side of the island, "They be excited anyway." she laughed happily as she would do her quick trot back towards the town to go meet with everyone before she'd make her trip out to the the rice paddies, she could probably skin the rabbit and start on the food. A slow simmer in some spices would be fine, if she managed across some of the fruits on her way she could probably make a delicious dessert as well.
××××xx[ It had been a long day for the company. With their new exposure and ties with various other groups, they’ve made an enormous stride in productivity. With today’s advancements, it’d taken a huge leap forward toward accomplishing its goal of becoming a zaibatsu. A large ship docks at the port of the island, giving way for the company President’s triumphant return. Lined up on both sides of the dock are soldiers and attendants in a pattern, all bowing gratefully to their boss. Finally, from the doorways of the ship the President himself steps out. Barbos places a hand on his hat, preventing it from blowing off to the winds, while looking at the more than generous welcome for his arrival. With a smile her nods to everyone and steps down the gangplank. “Welcome back, President!” one of his direct attendants says as she takes his bag from his hands. He eyes her, and with a smirk, warmly thanks her for all of her hard work.
One by one those lined up gives a greeting to the man dressed in all white, showing respects to their leader. In time he is escorted to a carriage meant to take him back to the company building. During the ride, he’s briefed on the most pressing matters on the island right now, and the morale of the citizens. “I understand. If that is the case… Take me to the rice paddies. I want to speak with our farmers personally.” Though surprised, no one would question the man’s decisions. His carriage would make a turn for the lower half of the island where the farmers get most of their work done. Along the way children playing in the fields, and various wildlife stop what they’re doing to watch the carriage travel, as if showing respect. Within a few hours they arrive, ushering the attention of all the farmers. Immediately, they drop their tools or work to come out and greet the President, as anyone who has been on the island for a while would know of his carriage by this point.
He steps out slowly and heads over to the crowd. Some people seem concerned--like the ones that wrote him the letter of complaints. They never expected he himself would come all the way out here. Those responsible immediately rush forward, dropping to their knees in apology. “W-We’re sorry, President! We don’t mean to cause you trouble! It’s just… it’s not enough! We don’t mind working, but the environment is too cruel! Those beasts, and then the ocean being so close by! We-” Before the man can finish, a single step from Barbos causes him to go silent. Those behind the man give worried expressions, some confused as to what is even going on. Surprising them all, the President drops down onto a knee and places a hand on the man’s shoulder. “No more of that. Raise your head, friend.” The man, while hesitantly, does so, looking up at the president’s face. “I’ve heard your worries. And we’ll deal with the problem from here. You just try worrying about keeping your family safe and well fed.” he says before standing back up.
Barbos turns his back to the crowd and looks to Kanna, his attendant. “Send word to Cobra, the main city. Have them supply us with several Hunters and guards. Request some Shipwrights and Inventors. We’re going to take care of this problem immediately.” The woman nods several times while taking notes. After pushing up her glasses, she turns to enter the carriage, but notices Barbos still standing among the crowd.
“Lord President? Shall we be on our way?” Kanna asks dutifully, worried that he isn’t focused.Barbos holds up a hand, gesturing a wave of goodbye. With a smile and a hand pressed atop his hat, he turns back to the people. “I’ll be staying here for now. If what they need is help and protection, for the people of this island I will be that. At least until the help arrives, haha.” The woman pushes up her glasses once more and lets out a sigh, pretty much knowing he was going to say such a thing. "Then to your safety we pray, President. Be well." In the end, she bows to him and departs for the main city. ]

Bella moved through the forest with ease and stopped at her tent home she had made for herself, easily pulling the flap open to expose a bedroll and a chopping board with a set of knives. Within moments she'd place the basket down and prop open the flaps of the large tent. It looked similar to that of a carnival tent but in miniature to fit two or three people, she'd move over to the chopping board and place it on the flat stump she brought in a month or two ago. She'd place the basket down next to that and move back out to her camp site to set the fire and the spit style pot holder to boil water, the pot she had filled earlier this morning would end up sitting on the metal center piece and she would be waiting for it to boil while chopping up the various herbs she picked on the way back. Dropping the greens in as well as salted animal fat from yesterday to create a thick broth in a few hours, she would then cover the pot and move back to the tent. With a single whistle she'd hold out her arm and call a lingering seagull to her, it grasped her arm and stared at her, she'd attach a note she had written and sent it flying off towards the rice paddies, the farmers wives there would be able to prep the rice since it had taken Bella longer than expected to get the rabbit.
A short hour or two later the various vegetables were peeled and cut and then tossed into the pot with salt, then the rabbit was skinned with the hide being tanned and the meat cut and thrown into the pot. The organs were chopped up and buried in areas with dead leaves so that the bugs had something to decompose and offer nutrients to new growth. When she had finished the majority of tasks she would have the seagull circling over head again, it landed on her shoulder and offered her it's message, she'd take it and read the contents, "Oh, rice done. I suppose I can bring pot." she'd state with a nod before offering the bird a piece of the rabbit fat she held on to. The seagull took her offering and flew off while she moved over to the large pot and removed it from the fire. Grabbing some animal skins she'd wrap them around the pot and place it in a contraption to haul the burning pot on her back, then she would be off.
The farmers were all busy it seemed, as she had approached they would be gathered around a person that she did not know, nor care about. Easily passing him by as the savory smell of stew wafted in the air, "I bring food." she'd call to them in passing though the farmers easily turned to follow. The wives of some of the farmers had already set up tables at the top of the sloped hill in a large clearing, a fire was already stoked and she would place her burden down near the pit. With careful practice she placed the pot over the fire and opened the lid as a delicious smell permeated the air, "Rabbit stew, it good with clay pot rice." she'd state moving over to let the women taste it. She'd move to the large clay pot and open it and glanced over it, "You put the rot in?" she questioned, one of the women called a yes. Bella grabbed a spoon and stirred it around to find the stem of some grapes, or rather it was borgeouis rot that made grapes super sweet and offered a new more legueme-like flavoring. Clapping her hands as the men lined up she would begin to dish out the food, she'd look to see the man that she had passed and stared at him, "Come eat, food not good cold." she'd state with a thick accent in her broken words. The woman turned away from him as she continued to serve the food.
[ By this point, Barbos has taken to rolling up his sleeves and had begun helping out the villagers as much as possible. He made sure to keep an eye out on the pathway leading to both the forest and the other leading to the mountains. According to the villagers, the reason they have been having such a hard time is due to the large Deer Bear that creeps about both territories. Every so often they’d come down the mountain to attack the inhabitants and steal crops. This makes it hard for the other cities on the island to receive their due in harvest--thus production falls as a whole. This is why he had to request hunters alongside the builders. His eyes shift back and forth as he handles his own work, focusing on those who seem to be struggling the most. Eventually with time aid does indeed arrive, and the first to show up is a darker skinned woman with beautiful features, and an even more lovely pot of food hoisted with her.
She walks right past Barbos in such a nonchalant way that despite him not minding it, he’s almost taken aback. Some of the villagers even take note of this and worry of the President’s fury. Good thing Kanna wasn’t here. The man merely turns and watches as this new woman gets right to work, assisting in preparing the meal for everyone without a single delay. Like she had already intended to do this from the very beginning. Her gestures and precision catches his eye. Enough so that he rubs his chin and takes a mental note of it. What he didn’t expect, however, was for her to call him over to eat as well. He planned to, but the way she did it reminded him of someone from the past. After a smile, he walks over dutifully to receive his own portion and sits with the villagers. And though they tried to give him special treatment in where he could eat, he denies it all and remains seated among the elderly and children.
Everyone makes merry and enjoys each others company until their meals were finished. “Amazing…! I haven’t had something this good is so long!” he turns to look over his shoulder at the lovely woman from earlier, before turning back and nodding his head. He stands himself up, ruffles the hair of a child, and walks over to the woman. “Excuse me, Miss.” A hand places atop his head and her nods his head to her in greetings. “I wanted to speak with you, if you wouldn’t min-” Before he can get out the fill of his sentence, a traumatic roar sets off behind everyone from the direction of the woods. A roar with enough force to lightly vibrate the small village as a whole. Barbos’ eyes widen from it in surprise. He never expected it, but that roar definitely belongs to…
“I-IT’S A DEER BEARRRRR! R-RUUUUUUN!” one of the villagers calls out.
Keeping his hand on his hat, Barbos halfway turns to get a look at the creatures slowly approaching in the distance. He lets out a sigh and smiles faintly, realizing that he’d have no other choice but to take action now. The help from Cobra hasn’t arrived yet… Step by step he makes way towards the other side of the farm, heading to the paddies where the beast creeps ever closer. Its roars growing louder and louder by the moment. Finally he’s close enough for it to be considered dangerous and rests his left hand atop his katana’s hilt. Right as he was preparing to engage, another roar sets off from the opposite side; the mountains. “Damn.” he says, knowing the worst case scenario just happened. Attacks from both sides, and he’s more or less alone here. The Deer Bear closest to him towers above his body, easily a creature of nine to ten feet on four legs alone. Massive antlers protrude from its cranium, and terrible claws stick from its paws rudely. It normally takes an entire squadron to bring down one as is, but now... This, may be a problem. ]

Bella would watch the man come over as she eyed his attire attempting to make sense of why he dressed strangely for no real reason, but she shrugged it off and ended up happily serving up her food. Soon everyone was happily eating while she took to cleaning up around the area, a small bowl set aside for herself that she was taking the time to eat out of every now and then. As people finished up she would continue cleaning up until the man with the funny attire approached her. Gold eyes peered up to eye the man suspiciously, "Aye?" she questioned putting down the towel she was drying the dishes with. When he had started to speak she would end up hearing the same thing that cut him off mid sentence as well as the screams of terror from the villagers. Curiosity settled on her face as she glanced in the direction the roar had come from and she would easily slip her dagger from the sheath strapped to her outer left thigh, "Bear meat good. Season it and roast it over night...very good feast." she murmured licking her lips as the beast came out roaring at the man in the suit, she'd watch him without any sign of fear of the bear, the second he went for the handle of his katana she'd assume he could take care of himself, hopefully he didn't - the second roar sounded.
Bella sighed as she watched those that had gathered run back towards them and up away from the bears that had seemed to want to perform a pincer attack, she'd throw the dagger in hand up and down spinning it with ease, "We have very big feast..." she nodded to herself as she would run at the bear who had barely come from the the forest edge when she ran at it. Golden eyes narrowed as she would move to the left when it swung it's antlered head in reataliation to her attack, she'd grasp one of the horns as it hauled her up and she would let go at the peak of it's head movements. Staying airborne for a moment she would end up landing on the beasts back and immediately dig her dagger into the thick neck fur and skin, the blade wasn't long enough to get it's spine but she had easily created a place for her to hold onto the large beast, "You best not be all fur stupid bear." she grunted as she would continue holding onto the dagger lodged deep in it's skin and fur and ride it like a bull, "Hope snake man doesn't need help." she murmured as she found her hands full with this big oxen. It kept rearing up and tossing it's head back trying to catch her with it's antlers, she didn't let it as she would twist with it's head and soon grab one of the horns and twist it's head to the right. It ran in that direction and with a quickness she would use the open space to the left to allow her legs to grip the beast tight around the neck and twist down using her body weight. She'd continue to pull it's right antler to the left ti'll a loud cracking noise escaped and the beast went limp as it's head was now at an impossible angle. She ended up under a fluff of fur she'd end up crawling out from under, bloody dagger in hand as she stood up and brushed herself off, "Clean kill, good. Deboning will be easy...make better cutlery." she murmured inspecting the kill and honestly forgetting about the other bear for the moment.
[ It was surprising. Though he wasn’t offered much time, in order to gauge how much time he’d have, Barbos ends up looking over his shoulder only the most brief moment in time. In that small duration, he notices the woman from earlier dashing right from the creature. He wanted to turn and assist her, not realizing her potential for hunting, but is cut short by a blur catching the corner of his eye. Without hesitation, he unsheathes his katana and blocks a heavy hit from the monster’s paw. The force is enough to lift him off his feet and send him barreling some feet before he hits a backflip mid flight and comes to a crouched sliding halt. “Whew. That’s dangerous…” he says whimsically while he stands himself back up. With a smirk, he rushes towards the beast, just as he does towards him. The moment Barbos gets in range, the bear tries to go for a vicious bite with incredibly speeds towards his torso.
Thinking on his feet the man leaps upwards and unsheathes his katana at a blinding rate, sheathing it back just as fast. Upon his landing, one of the bear’s eyes splits, and blood spurts out from it. It stumbles back in a roar before dashing forward again in a charge this time. Though he thought he had time, the man is caught off guard as the whole thing bounds too him with all of its force. This closes the gap between them far sooner than he timed for, and is struck hard. And had it not been for his guard, he’d be suffering some broken bones right now to say the least. As the president grunts from the assault, he hears the screams of the second bear, ending in silence. From the paddie hilltop he looks over to see the second one drop down with its head contorted in a really unpleasant manner. The sight entrances him, as he watches the beauty step from its mass, clearly perfectly fine.
A sense of excitement bubbles up in him, and he realizes more than ever what that feeling was from before. “I MUST have her! No, it’s imperative that I recruit that woman, under all circumstances!” he exclaims before turning his gaze back to his own opponent. With no further reason to hold back, he breaks his stance rests his left hand over his hilt again. “Tana, it’s time to wake up. Here stands prey.” As if a trigger due to his words, a black mass of snakes erupts from the man’s back and spirals around to form the shape of a young woman about Barbos’ age or so. She wraps her arms over his shoulders from behind and stares at the bear with an uninterested glare. The bear itself, at this point, has had enough and is throwing a roaring fit. Its paws tear into the dirt as it steadies to rush forward, and with one mighty push it does so. Yet, the moment it gets closer, it comes to a sliding halt, a cold sweat over taking its form. It looks like a cat stretching up its bottom and hair to scare off something dangerous.
Its only good eye widens and a sort of yelp leaves its massive maw. From its perspective, a serpent far greater than its own size looms over, glaring down in hunger. Before it can recover from the shock, its head starts to spin before dropping from the body and falling onto the floor. Barbos stands next to it, sheathing his katana happily. “Man oh man. With that, things should be secure for a while.” After this event, the villagers could do nothing but stay within the confines of their houses to be near one another. Though this wouldn’t last for long as, finally, the cavalry arrives. And with it, more guards, hunters, and builders. Kanna makes her way over to Barbos after issuing orders to all of the reinforcements, and follows the man as he approaches the woman from before. “Hey.” he’d say, stepping closer with a hand up as a greeting. Over his shoulder the serpent like girl is holding up peace signs, while Kanna merely pushes up her glasses, not understanding why they’re talking to this faintly dressed woman.
“Thanks for earlier. You really saved our hides there. For the villagers, and this peaceful island, thank you.” he starts, giving her time to reply if she desired to. Following, he pockets both hands and offers her a calming smile. “I’ve witnessed your talents first hand, and I have to say, I’m quite impressed. You’ve talented with both cooking and hunting. And you seem to have a good head on your shoulders. People with your skills are rare and few between… So, I wanted to extend an offering to you. Care to hear me out?” he finishes, giving her time to process everything he’s said thus far. ]

Lost inside a dream with halls that never seem to end.
"SINNERS! SINNERS, ALL ACROSS THE VALLEY! THEY COME IN FLOCKS! SAVE YOURSELVES, SAVE YOURSELVES OR MEET A LIE AT THE CROPS OF ELYSIUM! OH--OHHH"
Shrieks met with vicious sobbing, as if the woes of mankind joined together to perch upon the frail shaking shoulders of one so condemned. The onlookers then turning their gaze away as the hawk of a woman would lurch, with pleading mire. The cost of her faith meant truth and ingenuity over a restless mind.
"BEASTS, BEASTS ALL OVER THE SHOPS--OHH WHY DON'T YOU SEE?! THEY WEAR CLOTHES, THEY SING SWEET AND JOIN YOU AT THE TABLES---OHH-OHHH WHY DON'T YOU ALL SEE IT? SAVE YOURSELVES, S-SAVE....YOURSELVES...And together....we can all be joined again....by chord....by...the will of Lilith....Not that witch, Eve!" The plum cheeks constantly scarred by everflowing tears would look up as a random beast's head among other things had lopped right over her. Casting a vision of vivid epiphany. Watching the trail and soon following the hunting grounds to a bloody detail with furs and bits stuck at rose henges and broken fences.
Sorrowed eyes catching on to the homegrounds of this colony's esteemed ones. Or so the sinners thought within this congregation. "Sinner....."
Approaching a woman of buxom beauty whose fingers smelled of stew divine followed by a cabaret of boujie ensemble. She'd give a thousand yard stare as if her own gaze was filled with a choir of ancient ones all humming deep in somber collective before---BOOM! She'd stomp her foot forward, pointing to the excellent breasts of the foul witch! "YOU'RE A SINNER!" Pointing to one breast and then the other. "AH-AHH! YOUR SIN IS DOUBLED--DOUBLE DEMON, YOU DARE BREATHE THE AIR OF GOD'S FLOCK?!"
Wincing, for no reason, she doubled back as if she envisioned a full on body suit with tools of erogenous trade. No! NO! Not here, not on the land of the holy ones! Taking a step back, she'd almost trip on some of the discarded carcass bits of what hinted at animal pieces. The antlers no doubt, before she'd stumble by the one wearing all white. Her eyes trembling as it also registered the serpentine beauty of a woman with him. Choking from her own disbelief, the heretic fanatic would point a finger. "You! How could you....with the SNAKE THAT FOOLED EVE---BUT HAH! No snake would fool God! You plot with the one that fed the first sinners!"
Hissing and slapping at his hand with her book though with 0 in strength her strength was equivalent to that of a toddler trying to hit a fly with folded paper. "Release the people of this city! From your evil! YOUR DEBAUCHERY WILL BE VANQUISHED, IN THE NAME OF GOD! AMEN, A-AMEN!"
Panting on desperate air, exhausted by having 0 to no stamina.
Bella would be looking over her kill with a clear sense of satisfaction, "Rosemary would make it yummy...salt with garlic, yes." she nodded in approval as she would grasp her dagger and lean down to begin gutting the bear, but she'd be forced to stop as she would hear a yelp and glance up to see something...she didn't understand nor cared to try to understand. Blowing a breath she would turn back to begin bleeding the bear dry before she'd move to the head and begin to take it off right then and there. She'd only look back up when someone called what she assumed was a greeting to her, golden eyes glance up as she stared at the male, "Aye?" she questioned before going back to beheading the bear and then sawing at it's antlers intending to get rid of the pieces covered in velevet, they would make good treats for carnivorous animals were they to be left raw. She'd cut them down later and see if she could make good cutlery from some of the larger pieces, but for now that wasn't as imperative as gutting the beast, she'd only look up again as the man and his....thing behind his back continued to speak. Bella stood deciding she had to be friendly as he would go on to thank her and mention what she did, "Oh, I care not for weak people, I do it for food. Had I not been here you might have been food for bears instead." she nodded basically telling him she only did it because it would be yummy, "Though, I would have helped if women were in danger. I care not for weak whiny men." she murmured thoughtfully before he'd go on to speak about her talents and such. She sighed as he would go on to continue complimenting here and then mentioned something about an offering, "You talk much snake man. I care not for your....a** kissing." she had to think of the last term, "I will take offering though." she stated holding out an open palm clearly expecting to be handed something.
The altercation would not last long as she would soon hear screaming and notice a strange lass approaching her, "Small weak female." she stated looking fairly sour as she would then point at her breasts and begin to yell 'sinner" at each one. The golden eyes that would look mostly attentive became blank with complete confusion, "What is this female talking about?" she thought as she would bare her teeth briefly before going back to working on the bear, sticking her hands into the blood and guts fearlessly. She would listen to the woman continue to scream until she had enough, standing back up she'd smack the female's cheeks and spread blood on her face without a care, "Shut up whiny one!" she hollered in her broken language before she'd turn back to look at the man, "You, go gut bear. We need to cook or preserve before it go bad." she stated before stopping, "Puny one. Food there, go eat and be silent." she huffed indicating the large pot with some stew still in it. Bella would return to prepping the bear and began to skin it.
[ It was finally time! After so long, he found such an exceptional woman to recruit. If he could but just get her to accept his invitation, things would look way up for his goals! This woman alone would fill one of the ‘necessary must haves’ on his list of priorities. Still keeping his overall welcome persona going, he waits for the woman to accept his invitation, mildly overlooking her statement about her actions only being for food. Since, that’d mean she’s actually considering those overgrown behemoths to on her menu. Th-There’s no way, right? Yeah, must be a joke. Regardless, she holds out a hand to his offer from just now. The motion surprises him actually. Enough so that he blankly stares down at her hand, and then up at her, noticing her face essentially saying ‘Well?’. With a nervous laugh, he starts to say something, but he’s cut off by the random appearance of a… Is that a bloody NUN? Did he have a church built here somewhere?!
Barbos thinks long and hard until his attention is stolen away by the vicious ramblings of the brooding clergy’s speech of sin and flocks and- who is this God?! The man’s eyes narrow while his brows furrow up as if annoyed, almost resorting back to his days of old. But after a nudge from Kanna, he manages to gather himself back together. Tana, seemingly unbothered by the whole ordeal, starts playing with Barbos’ cheeks. Pulling at them and forcing his to make funny faces, much to his regret. But, he’d just let her have her fun for now. Or well, that was supposed to be the case, until the blathering holy woman started speaking ill of snakes. This alone makes Tana’s whole face resemble that of a pissed off yakuza, boiling in the livid waters of his forefathers. “Eve was! Stupid! She shouldn’t have! Eaten! I don’t! Regret!” she barks back at the nun, right before the Huntress woman walks up, and literally slaps bear blood across the poor nun’s face! With one stern command, she orders the nun to go and eat silently.
The encounter forces the entire village to call out at once “SO HARDBOILED!” Even Barbos, who has been working on maintaining his composure, is taken aback, one arm covering his face as if a wave of power were passing by his body. “S-So cool!”
In the end, even he is commanded to go and finish tending to the last killed bear so the Huntress can cook it. “Y-Yes ma’am.” he says in a sort of disbelief-like sulk. Kanna watches her boss walk off to the other bear, then turns her gaze towards the two woman; The Huntress and the Nun. “Excuse me. I am aware the both of you are...pressed for time. However, it seems the Lord President has taken an interest in your abilities--whatever those may be. Would it be too much to ask that we have a meeting in the Company Palace later? I do believe it would benefit the both of us.” she offers, pushing up her glasses expertly, as if it were a stylish thing to do. ]
"SINNERS.......THIS........THIS WOMAN.......YOU.......YOUUUGHGHGH-BUWYWUUSHHHHGHHG--UHPH--PHLEH-PLEH!" Her vocal chords of sheer titanium stopped to become garbled as she was getting slapped two ways by pungent blood and then some. She saw the pot that the big breasted woman was taking care to stir. It was only a cauldron of EVIL in her eyes. Almost as though it were instinct or retaliation the shrieking one of devout faith would run to the stew and throw it over to have it topple onto the floor.
Pointing to it. "YOU WILL NOT POISON GOD'S FLOCK ANYMORE!"
A weapon against her yelling was again more heresy as she was stopped. Looking incredulous at the man whose body was a host for the SNEK that feasted on sinhood. She would jolt at the glare the expressive snake witch would cast and now trembled at the words....THAT WERE FULL OF LIES.
"THAT DOESN'T STOP WHAT YOU DID! YOU....YOU...! ARE THE REASON GOD FROWNS ON US! BUT NOW, EVOLUTION HAS CHANGED US! MORE ARE CONVERTING--MORE ARE WILLING TO CLIMB BACK TO GOD'S GRACES! YES!" Clapping despite the well of blood on her and the manic expression as the book was somehow kept clean from the blood smearing. She would turn to a page and show the frowning snake woman a poorly drawn image of a snake with angry eyebrows and it's tongue sticking out in the medium of crayon and possibly horrible rose art brand penciling. But nonetheless the fact that this page existed in the holy scripture must mean it true!
She was panting at this point, her stamina being so low that she must expend her vigor before attempting to save their souls with more anger. While stupefied she would listen to the male who was also a sinner, mention a gathering. Her eyes floated up like rotten eggs floating over water. A CONGREGATION! YES! She knew she could invade their hive and disinfect the root of it all and purge out all the uglies!
["Would it be too much to ask that we have a meeting in the Company Palace later? I do believe it would benefit the both of us--"'
She would step closer almost cutting his sentence at the under ripe finish. "INDEED!" Nodding viciously as she would turn the book to another page where it was horribly scribbled as God's plan before it again disappeared in the sanctity of her body on her person somewhere.
Turning to the crowd of villagers who claimed something about eggs being boiled hard. "SALVATION IS COMING FOR THE REST OF YOU, YET!!!!!" Pointing at all of them.

Bella would be disatisfied when the woman failed to cease her rambling immediately, golden eyes stared down at the female as she would turn to go take care of the stew only to watch as it was tipped over by the nun. The chill that rolled through the area was immediate, Bella's eyes became cold as her grip tightened on the dagger and within seconds after the girl's screeching had ended right before the woman that the snake man had taking care of him spoke up. Well the pot would end up over the nun's head and encase the majority of her body before the huntress immediately banged a wooden spoon against the pot causing it to rattle loudly and then snap the spoon amidst the banging, after that she would kick the pot and send the nun and it hurtling away, "Stupid girl." she hissed as she resisted the urge to run up and strangle the small thing with her hands, the image of watching her face turn a similar color to the top of her hair was alluring, but she'd cease her attack and let out a long breath as the woman...Kanna would seem to talk to the two of them. The huntress placed a hand on her hip as she would eye the woman, "He finish bear first, you take stupid girl before I gut her." she stated and turned back to the bear, "I come after finish prep on roast bear." she stated accepting the invite. She wanted the offering the man mentioned earlier, after putting up with the clergy woman she would practically demand something in return. All the wasted food had pissed her off majorly.
Yuyuko had assured Aeson that her meeting wasn't on any sort of extreme time constraints. But she also accepted that seemed to know the limits of his body and condition for now at the very least. She hated to pry normally, but as a doctor she was compelled to press further. She'd have to suppress that urge for now out of respect for their shared profession at least. She'd make sure to keep an eye on him as they headed out from the island. She did make sure to stop off at The Baratie for that meal call. Making sure things were extra hot before setting off to North Blue. As they arrived and docked their ships, Yuyuko would lead him through the town and up towards the large building that was for the company itself, overhearing something about bears and loud nuns from the people as she passed by. Of course there were also plenty of people that would chime in with a "Welcome Back Yuyuko!" or "How are you Yuyuko?" and the like. She'd smile brightly to each, waving to everyone with a polite response at the welcome. Seemed she was fairly popular with the townspeople.
Once they got inside, Yuyuko would point at areas as they passed them, telling Aeson about them. "Let's see~ Over there is the reception desk. The Mess Hall is down that hallway and the chefs make all sorts of delicious food every day! We have a gym and a pool for staying in shape and even the townspeople can buy memberships which is another way the company covers expenses~" She continued, naming off areas and little tid bits of information with such a cheerful disposition, that most people would find it hard to be in a bad mood around her. "This floor is sort of 'residential' where employees can have their own rooms to stay while not out on missions. And up on the top floor is where you can find the President's office. That's where we're going~! Oh and he might try and act big and tough sometimes, but he's just a big ol softy trust me~" She giggled a bit, giving Aeson a little heads up as they made it to the top floor finally.
"Barbos~! I'm Hoooome~!" She barged right on into his office like she owned the place, carrying a smile as bright as the sun itself. She'd then lift up her hand carrying a white bag containing what she had brought. "And I brought luuunch~!" She added in, walking over to his desk with a big smile before pulling out some to-go boxes that if opened, would reveal a large order of meat buns to feed all three of them. "Oh also, this is Aeson! He's considering joining the company and is a Doctor!" She turned, motioning to the young gentleman with a smile before she blinked a few times, looking at the floor. "Barbos...When did you get that rug...?" She asked him, pointing towards the deer bear rug laid out in the middle of the floor. It was actually kind of totally gaudy and totally clashed with the rest of the room in her opinion, but she'd tell him off about that later and not in front of their new prospect.

He had managed to make Shio a bed on deck so he could keep an eye on her, for his ship though. Even with the front damaged, it still managed somehow. Drifiting in a single direction. His eyes filled with tears, his immediate wound on his side treated barely. At the very least it stopped bleeding. He stared at the Ocean, aware he had to remain safe, but his eyes were filled with so many tears. And the fingers clasped over his mouth to stop him from crying out were beginning to dig into his skin. Blood visibly seen dripping between the cracks of his fingers, adorning his chin with malice. Even so, he knew what he had to do, even if he didn't want to do it. He had to survive, and he had to run ... Undoubtedly when news that Noya let him escape got back. Oshino would keep his word, and make Riven the most hated criminal in the entire world.
But if he could save Shio, it didn't matter, because he didn't say he would put that title on her head. he could shoulder this alone. "AGH!" He coughed through his fingers, blood spewing out as his jaw tightened. He didn't know how long he had been travelling, but the only time he couldn't feel himself ready to scream was when he passed out from exhaustion. Or maybe he shouted in his sleep, there was no real way to tell.
Somebody ... Help me ...
As the creaking boards of the front of his ship touched land, he felt his hands slip for the first time. His eyes looked up, and he wanted to call out for help. Instead, what came from his lips.
[ Everything was going so perfectly! Though strange, and possibly close to dangerous levels of religious belief, the strange Nun had agreed to give Barbos’ offer a go and come meet him within the halls of the company building. To make things even better, the Huntress, under conditions, had agreed as well! For Barbos, this means that he has a chance to recruit two very interesting people to the company again! Just like Hunter and S0-N4, astounding people keep popping up left and right. After dealing with the Deer Bear, skinning it as ordered by Bella--albeit with the help of employees that actually know how to do this kind of this, everyone heads back to the head building; Hydra. Everyone in the town had greeted them individually, expressing their gratitude and favoritism for the company’s presence. A scene to which the President adores most of all. In the end, the people’s smiles and peace are why he’s doing this in the first place.
Though his assistants constantly have to stop him from going out and speaking with every individual person. Otherwise, they’d just be here all day. So after a bit of scolding, they make way into the large castle-like structure where soldiers stand on both sides, greeting everyone dutifully. Kanna and the other assistants would give Undine and Bella a grand tour, showing them the various facilities of the massive structure, including empty rooms and audience chambers they could make use of for themselves if they chose to join the company. In the end, they wind up in his office at the peak of the building, where he has some soldiers lay down the Deer Bear’s hide, to make some sort of carpet. A decoration choice that severely clashes with the otherwise pristine white room. Pictures line the wall, a large window acts as the back wall behind the President’s chair, and small waterfalls descend into built-in fountain ponds on either side of the room.
Barbos walks over to the front of his desk and leans against it, resting his hands on the edges. “Welcome, everyone! And this is my office! Though it’s a bit too fancy for my tastes, Kanna and the others wouldn’t let it be any less than this…” he chuckles a bit while Tana lazily hangs her arms and head over the man’s shoulders. “I suppose you are aware of it by now but, I’m the President of this Fifth Moon company. And this is my partner, Tana.” He’d tilt his head against hers, causing the snake woman to apathetically make a ‘waaa…’ sound, like he’s throwing off her balance. Kanna holds out a hand to the two women and offer to let them have a seat if it so suit their fancy. After a bit of idle banter, a soldier knocks of the large doors. To which Kanna answers. “What is it?” she questions, standing between, the man and the entrance. He salutes her. “Lady Kanna! It would seem Madam Yuyuko has returned!” With a nod, the woman thanks the man for his services and gives him a light bow as he returns back to his post.
And right on cue, the pink hair Vice President comes bursting in as happy as can be. “Ah, Yuyuko! Welcome back! I was just introducing these two to the company myself! If your guest would permit it, I can speak with them too. Come in, come in. Please, have a seat.” he’d offer, holding out a hand directing to another open seat for this Aeson to rest. Tana on the other hand, immediately floats over the Yuyuko the moment the world lunch left her lips, tugging on the Vice President’s clothing. “Koko. Food.” she says, clearly hungry again. She’d try prodding at the bag, hoping something would fall out, but her attention is immediately snatched. Her body snaps towards the entrance of the room, and her eyes go into slits. She simply floats there, with a widened gaze. In this instance, Barbos winces, feeling the strange emotions coming from his other half. “Tana? What’s wrong?” The woman just stares. “Pain. Lots of pain.” Now, Barbos frowns. It’s not often Tana pays mind to others, but she’s sensitive to the sense of blood. It enacts her predatorial instincts.
For her to reacts this strongly, there must be heaps of blood somewhere close by. Two maids rush up to the door, opening it without waiting for permission. They pant heavily, barely able to keep themselves standing, pure dread hanging from their eyes. “A-Apologies, Lord President! B-But! It’s the docks! A-After lady Yuyuko arrives, another ship recklessly docked! We checked it out, and on board would a screaming boy, and a gravely injured woman! Th-There’s so much blood! We couldn’t just move them! Wh-What do we do?!” Kanna turns her gaze over to Barbos, who has taken to standing upright now. He looks at the three newcomers with a serious expression, bowing to them. “You’ll have to forgive us, but we must address this issue. If it suits you, stay here and chat among yourselves! We’ll be right back!” he says, dashing out the door. “Yuyuko!” he calls out. Tana sinks back into his body as they move to the docks as fast as possible. And upon arrival, a horrible scene is displayed.
All around are people trying to calm down the screaming young man, who is covered in injuries himself. A woman lying in a makeshift bed atop the deck. And blood splattered all over the place. As if the pair had been bleeding out most of the way. Barbos lands before the crowd of onlookers, keeping them from approaching any further than they have. His eyes remain widened in horror. Just what in the world happened?! “Everyone stay back! We’ll deal with things from here!” ]
