__ Sinister eyes were glazed over with rage when Kanzaki responded. His attempt to make light of lying and infiltrating Kogarashi did not amuse her in the slightest. Her fingers folded together when an ornate mirror of exactly Kanzaki's height appeared directly in front of him. His reflection would stare back at him in the highly-reflective looking glass as a mass of chakra was expelled by Kagami to enchant the mirror and more mirrors appeared and enclosed tightly around his entire body instantaneously. He would then immediately feel an inability to move his body in the prison and lose access to oxygen from the claustrophobic suffocation. His skin would feel the glass panels and his eyes would only see themselves from being pressed against the glass mirror. "I'm a woman of mercy. I'll give you a chance to apologize, tell me exactly who you are, and come forth with what you want with Kogarashi." Kagami's voice was audible to him but muffled from beyond his glass encasement. A sadistic smile formed before she finished her statement. "Be a good boy and don't lie or your suffering in my unbreakable mirror prison will be unimaginable." She placed emphasis on "good boy" to make light of his dog girl form from earlier. Her voice was still muffled from outside of Kanzaki's house of mirrors from a claustrophobic's Hell.

Anma wandered outside from the institute. A snowflake fell on her nose. She smiled brightly and knelt in the snow. She thought deeply on its nature as she slowly made small little snow people. She had a hard time making sure they didn't fall, but ultimately managed to make three snow people. Satisfied with her work, she skipped away further into the training grounds outside. She danced, her footwork graceful and delicate as the freshly fallen snow, her sundress skimming its surface. She stepped to the side and for a brief moment their appeared to be two of her standing in the snow. She kicked up, snow lifted into the cold air, even as it appeared she had kicked twice.
Anma ran off in one direction as a second copy ran off in another. An after image burst forth and struck with a palm strike, that the true Anma followed up. She followed it up with a series of strikes, that were followed by after-images. Each punctuated by a second set of spectral hands just above her own. Her last blow in the series was a knife hand strike that was followed by a second Anma striking with low to the stomach with the index and middle finger of its right hand. The second girl slowly dissipated within a gust of snow that blew in the wind.
Adopting a stance that differed from her usual practice, Anma lifted her hands eye level and stepped forward with her left foot. She shifted to the left, a simple side step and delivered a hard left hook. Anma hopped back, snowing kicking up before rushing forward the momentum shift rocketed her into a low shovel hook with her right hand. She rolled her shoulders in a U shape before lashing out once more with a second strike, a palm thrust to the stomach. Panting lightly after all her effort, Anma tilted her head back and caught a snowflake on her tongue.

__ Ikuyo had straightened up rather obviously, like how tense she appeared when he first met her only a short time ago, when Kagami and Sandayu approached. She didn't say anything and Sanda assumed this was simply because she was used to only doing so when spoken to. Kanzaki, given his current circumstances, probably wasn't the right person to put Ikuyo at ease but he wasn't entirely wrong for that suggestion. Not unexpectedly, Kagami kinda brought the hammer down hard on Kanzaki in the next few moments. The genjutsu-inducing mirror tactics she didn't fully show off to him were now used to make an example of the one that pretended to be a dog girl. Now, Sandayu couldn't peer into or partake in the illusion, but he had little doubt that the aggressive bursts he'd noticed of Kagami lately were being focused this time around.
His gaze shifted to Ikuyo and he sighed before saying after Kagami finished addressing the silver-haired man, "Ikuyo... it's up to you whether you actually want to join our cause or not. What comes in the near future isn't for those without ambition or the disinterested. People are going to die. I don't know what this man offered or said to you, but if you don't care for the end of shinobi and their villages then this isn't the place for you." He paused, not wanting to completely dismiss her and throw away a potentially useful comrade, "However, if you can find any kind of parallel for your personal goals to ours then we welcome you to act however you see fit, so long as-" At this point he stopped himself, realizing that he might be a little too wordy and that he should approach this conversation like he were talking to Masato. "If you are going to stay then make sure it's worthwhile. If you don't completely want to be here then don't bother." Sandayu's expression hardly strayed far from his typical stoicism.
__Feeling a whack on her head Ikuyo immediately flipped around on Kanzaki, her brow furling in confusion and gave hima what's the matter with you look. Did he not understand to show respect to those who have earned it? Warchief is not a title earned without blood. Turning back to face the two leaders Ikuyo stayed mostly quiet. Even when some strange reflective surface formed in front of her, sort of like water she noted in that it showed a reflection of Kanzaki within it only more soild. To be honest she wanted desperately to study it or maybe even break of piece off if she thought ahe could get away with it when no one was looking. Alas her curiosity would have to go unsated for now as she waited impatiently for her partner who, for the first time since she met him, has remained uncharastically silent.
All of this of course was before Sandayu felt it necessary to question her resolve for being here. A tick of irritation swelled within her. With all this talk it would have been better had I been given a trial. Forcing herself through great effort Ikuyo started to mimic their speech. "Oi can tell frim y-o-ur words. Dat none av y-o-u possess de s-a-me connecshun ter de earth dat oi do. I am are 'ere ter fight cos it-s me destiny. Oi cannot exist anywhere else." Her speech was slow and far from perfect but Ikuyo was determined to get her point across. To emphasize that she had said all she was going to on the subject Ikuyo went even further and broke the laws of council to turn away to face Kanzaki, who was still just staring at the mirror. Tentatively she poked him with a pinky trying to get him to respond to the Warchief and hopefully keep a fight from breaking out.

It wasn't *his* fault he just walked right inside, after all. That's just poor security right thar. Or Kagami was too easily swayed by a decent meal. Technically he'd already confessed to the one thing he'd lied about, but that didn't stop him from being face to face with his own reflection, which he could see the seals being made for coming, but still made no effort to defend himself. Made you look guilty! The technique was pretty impressive for being made of ice. Heck, he could see himsel-- why couldn't he move?Oh s**t, this hurts.Such an unpleasant day this was turning out to be, immobilized before his own reflection. He needed a haircut. More mirrors came about with the advent of the illusion's secondary effect, which made him feel as if he was unable to breathe, and not being able to move made fighting that fear incredibly arduous.Oh cool! It gets worse!He was being questioned by this lunatic, again going for the same information he'd already given, just didn't like the delivery. Why choke him and ask him questions? Maybe her underlings were better at the information extraction part of torture? While he had no idea if he actually saying anything within the genjutsu's grip, back in the real world he'd manage to spit out a couple things."My bad... K-kanzaki... Ryorinin... t- cook..."Exactly who he was kidna cut into his limited air supply, and he'd already got done giving all that information to Ikuyo, who stood there not answering on his behalf and instead being just about 100% wrong about everything she was saying to Sandayu.

Ok, so her course of attack hand't gone the way she was hoping it would go. The Obei ice clone exploded and he used that force to ram it back into her, slamming on the ground hard. She got up, already feeling tuckered which only seemed to make her all the more eager. Her normally pale white face was red, her crison eyes locked on Masato. Yes! He was her rival. Their battle would be one for ages!
"Ha...Ha..." Obei swayed in the battle as she poured a large amount of chakra into the gourd. It shook violently as ice would begin to pour from it in seemingly endless amounts. "Mah-Sah-Toe~" She teased him as the floor around her would swirl, ice kakkigori forming a huge wave behind her. "MORE! MORE! STOP MAKING ME WAIT!~" With a large stomp, the oeni sent the enormous wave of sake towards Masator, made exclusively out of flying sake pests. They each would glare at him with malice and rush toward shim while swelling, ready to explode.

The Oni unleashes a torrent of saketon laced alcohol in the form of a massive tidal wave of sake pests. Each exploding on contact for maximum damage. Should the target be unlucky enough to be crushed by the weight of the wave, they will become instantly blackout drunk. __ Kagami enjoyed listening to her husband's words as he attempted to set Ikuyo straight. It was difficult to discern her intentions with her constant fish out of water expression and an accent thicker than tar. At least she seemed genuine about her intentions, although her associating with the jester under Kagami's control was cause for concern. She refrained from commenting to Ikuyo at this time as she waited for Kanzaki to speak. His restrained and agonizing confession of culpability was music to her ears. "Oh, now I understand! Let me release you from the mirror prison." Kagami's hands formed a serpent seal before she stopped to think for a moment. "On second thought, I forgot that I have one more question." Half of the chakra used for the powerful illusion was then applied once more to make it unbreakable. She then tapped her chin and feigned forgetfulness. "My apologies, I've gotten so busy lately that I just keep forgetting the little things. You know how it is." She waited thirty more seconds which probably felt like an eternity for her victim before continuing. "Why did you try to lie to the goddess of deception? Did you really think this was a good idea? I'm sure you've heard my name." Her voice was cold and arrogant as it slithered from her lips. __ Sandayu had definitely missed the initial introduction of Ikuyo to Kagami but he'd gathered a pretty deep well of information regarding who she was by this point. The girl apparently killed her tribe and it sounded like she was on some kind of self-fulfilling pilgrimage which she felt could be accomplished in this particular company. So be it. She wasn't deterred by Sanda's overlapping warnings nor did she seem overly bothered by Kagami's sadistically playful means of making examples out of people. 'I'd just kill him and bring him back. That's just wasting energy...' He sighed, keeping his thoughts to himself this time around as he refocused on Ikuyo. It was unlikely, but he could revive Kanzaki if it came down to it, but only if he wasn't going to be a concern for Kagami. He certainly had no worries for the unfortunate soul caught in her malevolent sights.
"Ikuyo..." Sandayu started to reply, "Nobody in this world has as much a connection to the earth than I do, but I won't explain why right now. You're welcome here, but don't say you weren't warned and start getting regretful later on." He spoke almost softly, so to not grandstand Kagami as she simply adjusted the grip of her genjutsu only a little. "Also, don't change how you talk or whatever. I can get the Warchief a translator if I have to." He created a rigid military from the nothingness of nonexistence so that the people who actually lived and worked for Kogarashi would have less strain. The value of highly expendable military forces had its merits too, of course. People like Ikuyo, Obei, or whoever else weren't expected to conform to any particular image so long as they were obedient in the moments they were expected to be. Sandayu wasn't much a man of the people but Masato's advice did sit with him and he was trying, if nothing else.
__Strangely Kanzaki's words were labored as if he was being chocked to death. Narrowing her eyes Ikuyo turned to Kagami as her words turned poisonous and twisted. It became clear to her now that Kanzaki was being tortured through some invisible power of the Warchief. A tinge of worry began to struck Ikuyo over her newfound friend. It was clear on her face that she wanted desperately to say something but wasn't sure how to broach the topic without overstepping her boundaries. Haha I like her. I wouldn't get involved if I were you though. The words rang throughout her mind with a deep tone almost as if a giant was speaking them. Ikuyo didn't have time to wonder about who was saying them however, Or about what Sandayu had meant when he spoke of being close to the earth although it hadn't escaped her attention.
Instead she did what she had learned to do in her village and beg. She hadn't spent much time with this Kanzaki person but he struck her more as the never take anything serious type. Before she said anything Ikuyo first bent slightly down to face the ground in forgiveness for speaking out of turn. "Ah gracious Warchief. Please forgive me for speakin' out av a turn, but if oi may? From our time speakin' ter each other oi found this man only be a harmless fool. While he most certainly lacked de common sense not ter do somethin' so stupid in front av you, but it wasn't meant to harm you. It wus revealed to me dat he simply enjoys bein' a.. well a girl. Oi believe dat if yer leave him to me oi can instill within him de ability ter show someone as magnificent as yer de proper respect." Hopefully what Ikuyo said was worded well enough to her liking because right now it felt like she had just jumped off a cliff. Especially when she's had first had experience with what can happen when you beg the powerful in the wrong way.

__ The lack of response from Kanzaki was understandable given his circumstances. As she relished in his abject misery she heard Ikuyo speak up. She repeatedly apologized for speaking when she was not spoken too. That allowed her to avoid Kagami targetting her with misdirected anger. As she elaborated she cleared up her own intentions and expressed her opinion regarding Kagami's current victim. Her cold and harsh expression softened after Ikuyo finished her piece. "Fair enough, he was cuter as a girl after all." It was almost as if what she had said less than a minute earlier to the man was thrown out of her mind. Kanzaki would see the mirrors encasing him shatter out of existence. He was released from mental suffocation and paralysis and would see that he was standing in front of the mirror hypnotized the entire time. He would see his own reflection crack before watching the entire mirror shatter at her command. "I want you out of my sight." She said to Kanzaki before turning to Ikuyo once more. "Do you two have something to do yet?" She asked as she considered the options for tasks to give her and Kanzaki.

__ It seemed there was next to no reason for him to say more. Ikuyo was determined to be understood despite the strain it seemed to take for her to force it. Kanzaki was unable to speak for himself, but at least the tribal lass had pulled through for his sake despite the risk taken for herself. The two seemed to have quickly become quite the podded peas, but that was of little concern. Sanda just quietly folded his arms in front of his chest while he honed in on the activities of his clone in the parallel Kamui dimension. It seemed that his double was making great use of the bijuu's power to facilitate the continued development of their military and armaments. Honestly, Sandayu was a little curious about how things were developing in Arashigakure. Was Belamos holding true to his end of their little deal? If they weren't also preparing for the worst, then it would make Sanda's goals all that much easier to see to completion. The shadow clone, realizing the original's interest made preparations to sate his curiosity. Sandayu hadn't anything to do or say here with Kagami, Ikuyo or the furry cross-dresser unless he found himself being spoken to.

He had arrived a few days go, but was finally going to explore the foreign land that he was in. It seems that there was some type of actual organization with it. It was a place he heard off that was free of alliances and possessed a neutral agreement among others. A great ideal in principle, but would it actually work and last? Who was he to question when it has lasted for so long? He wasn’t committed to Kogarashi, but that was more because he hadn’t really been asked or was he one to do the asking. He wasn’t very sociable and was more reserved to himself. Walking right insight of the building, the poor security reflecting once again it really couldn’t keep someone out. Yet, with all the shinobi around it doesn’t matter. Once inside, apparently there was a scene already going down. He was not about to try get into that. He just had one thought process in mind. What to practice first? He needed find the dojo area.

__After witnessing the exchange between Kanzaki and Kagami Ikuyo was more than eager enough to put aside her normal protests at being touched and follwed her new mentor to goodness knows where.Turns out it was the equivalent to a cooking area for the people here. Or at least she assumed as much? The sparkling reflective surfaces and glossy knives were a far cry from the dirt fireplaces she was used to. Instead of taking a seat Ikuyo used this time to explore every facet of her enclosure. "Sooo oi assume dis dinner is yisser tanks for savin' yisser arse back dare right?" Ikuyo flashed a smile that she knew he couldn't see before hopping up right next to him. The scars that lined his arms were caught her attention almost immediately but she refrained from saying anything yet.
"Oi guess it 'ill 'av ter do! Do yer nu 'oy ter make stew? wi' beef, carrots, an' spuds?!" Oh just thinking about it all now was making her mouth drool with anticipation. This Kanzaki was on the fast track to her heart no doubt about it. It only took her all but a few minutes before she remembered that her hunger had distracted from the previous question. "Ah roi, dis is our tknowime ter git ter each other too yeah? Well, I am known as Ikuyo. Formerly av de Iarrthóir Stoirm tribe. What av yerself? Oi mean oi nu yisser name already but surely yer 'av other secrets?" Ikuyo punctured her remark with a nod to Kanzaki's warrior scars.

__ With Kanzaki and Ikuyo on their way, Kagami turned around and walked toward the battle arena which contained the training area of the Institute. If Usien followed behind her then he would quickly find the training facility for his own use.
