Luca did not forget her dancing partner from this winter, oh no. Anyone who was willing to put up with her while she was that wacky-hammered merited special consideration. Unfortunately, all manner of big disgusting life things had gotten in the way of them meeting face to face again, which was more than a little annoying. Luca took some responsibility for the gap due to her periodic existential crises and powered shenanigans, but life was just being gross. She had to settle for spamming Indy with a crapton of silly texts, almost all of which included those cute pudding emotes.

But! Today, finally, everything came together. Luca could meet her new flirt-friend again! She was super excited... and, actually, kind of nervous. Would Indy still be willing to tolerate her after all that time? Surely she'd be more coherent than the first time, but she still oozed dork sometimes, whether she knew it or not.

Checking the time on her phone and nervously scanning the entrance of the cafe she'd picked out for them to meet in, Luca waited for Indy to come in. Surely this was a decent setup? Nice caffeinated drinks, a few sweet stuffs. Food and fun. She was hoping up and down that she wouldn't get stood up (not that she thought Indy would do that, but more like something ELSE would get in the way).

When Indiana entered and Luca spotted her, she couldn't hide the big dorky smile that spread across her space. The cute lady with the lovely eyes was finally here! (Psh, saying her eyes were lovely belittled the rest of her.) "Hi!" she said, maybe a little too loudly, with an exuberant wave. "Come on, sit over here!" When Indiana got closer, she answered the questions, still grinning like a fool. "Yeah, I cut my hair. I really needed a change. After so long, it was bugging me, you know? I donated it, too, so that was good." She leaned in for that last one, though. "And yes, I'm sober this time. But I can legally buy booze instead of relying on hijinks this time, so that changes things, somehow!" Yeah, somehow.
