She wouldn't say that the evening she had the unfortunate chance to run into General Wolfeite had shook her...
Maybe the right word was unsettled. Deeply. It deeply unsettled her.
Her time in the Negaverse, up until that point, had been rather smooth sailing with the occasional hiccups that came in the form of pesky feelings brought on by seeing certain people. But this...this had been different. It made her question her capabilities. It also made her question how someone like Wolfeite could just be allowed to exist as he was and treat others as he did. One of those questions was easier to tackle than the other, and after some thinking, Stillwaterite decided to act on it. Her capabilities. She had a good range of magic, yes, but if a fight dragged on for too long and she couldn't teleport, what then?
She needed to learn more practical skills. Like physical combat. While she would never match a knight or general in pure physical power, surely just having some knowledge would be beneficial in the long run. She had reached out to Captain Harmotome, requesting her presence for some instruction about the matter.
Thus, she waited for the agent outside of the castle in Negaspace.

Things were still rather sour for Harmotome, even with the highlights that were few and far in between. Pyrophanite's condition occupied her thoughts too much as of late, and around and around in a circle it went, because she couldn't figure out what to do about it. It put her in something of a perpetual bad mood. When his friend, that senshi that looked like a dominatrix pirate or something, reached out to her about some instruction in hand to hand combat, she jumped on the distraction.
Not to mention it fed her ego. Of course someone should want to learn from her, after all, she did have years of experience in Muay Thai. She would forever thank her Da for the day he suggested she find a more suitable outlet for her energy when she was young. She had taken to the discipline like a fish to water, and over time it helped to curb a lot of the fights she provoked growing up.
Plus, she did enjoy the corrupt's company, as short and few and far in between their time together had been. She was pretty chill, and actually was on her side when it came to the fact Pyro pretty much only sent her out for b***h errands. The captain appeared, having teleported in, and quickly caught sight of the corrupt.
"Yo, Still!" She greeted, raising a dark hand as she approached.

Still turned in her direction as soon as she felt the new addition of a signature to her mental radar, and heard her name called as well. She smiled at the captain, and raised a hand in greeting in return. "Harm, hey! Thanks for coming, I really appreciate it." She waited for her to get closer, before deciding to just jump right into it. There was no need to beat around the bush.
"I'll elaborate on what I asked of you earlier." She started, resting a hand on her hip as she looked down at the shorter woman. "I have zero physical combat experience, and I had an...incident...sometime ago where I used up all my magic. It occurred to me, for the sake of practicality, that I should do something about it." Her smile widened at the captain.
"That's where I'd like you to come in. Anything and all you could teach me would be very much appreciated."

The captain waved off her thanks, and planted both of her fists on her hips as she listened.
Oh ho. Zero experience, huh, and she wanted all she could get? The thought of having a blank slate to leave an impression upon had Harmotome's lips starting to curl, because already she was just imaging it. She hadn't actually ever taught anyone before though...hm. Her Da was a great teacher, not just to her, but to other's as well. She looked contemplative as she reflected on how her Da went about teaching. Words, and than actual physical lessons too...cause and effects. This wouldn't be that hard! She could do it. As with everything, though, she reminded herself that basics had to be learned first, no matter how boring they could be. They were the building blocks for a strong foundation.
Harmotome let out a hum as she moved from her position, and started to circle around the corrupt. It was with a more discerning eye, that she looked Stillwaterite over. Damn woman was a tree. Very tall, with long limbs. "Practical, ya?" Harm echoed as she made a complete rotation, and then circled around again. "Ve can start vith practical, and I vill be nothing but upfront."
She batted at Still's long red coat. "This is problem, and this---" She reached and grabbed onto the tail of Still's long white hair. "Is biggest problem."

The corrupt stayed where she stood, and only her head followed the Captain around as she started to move, until she was beyond her range of sight. Well, under scrutiny now, hm? "Of course." She replied. "I expect nothing less." Harm was in front of her and then behind her again, and she felt her coat shift, followed be a light pull on her pony tail.
"A problem?" She echoed, "Ah, as in being grabbed? I can see that. No one really gets that close to me, though."

There was something lightly dismissive about the answer, and a grin split Harmotome's lips from behind the corrupt.
Lesson number one.
The gentle pull turned into an outright vicious yank. Dark fists balled into the white tresses and she pulled. She pulled and then, using her hold on the woman, whipped around and spun. Still was swept off her feet and swung with the momentum, and Harmotome spun in a complete circle to build up the power before she flung the corrupt by her hair into the courtyard.
She went sailing, and the captain couldn't help but cackle.
She then started to stroll over to her, a smug grin on her lips.
"I vas."

She hadn't expected it, and the yank had her bending backwards before she was pulled off her feet and flung. Her vision was a rushing blur before she found herself hitting the hard ground, the wind knocked out of her. She went head over heels a few times before finally coming to a stop.
Stillwaterite pushed herself up on her elbows, gasping a breath.
"Okay." She wheezed. "I get it." The corrupt pushed herself further up to her knees as the captain approached, and accepted the hand Harmotome offered which pulled her up the rest of the way. Alright. Lesson learned. The point was a terribly effective one. Still brushed off the front of her bodice and straightened out her coat, as she eyed the shorter woman, albeit a bit warily.
