Biography: Gran was born a b*****d of a fallen noble in Goa. After his family was ruined, he, who would only serve as a spare in case the noble's firstborn died, was discarded by his father's family and the two became targets of abuse. Because of that, his mother fled to the South Blue, where she would raise him in her hometown. Under the protection of his grandfather, an infamous pirate in Carmine Town, he saw a very different side of the world. A part of the world where the strong took whatever they wanted. Growing up in such an environment, his morality was molded accordingly. He understood the law and did not have a warped view of reality. Even so, he chose to live by the ways pirates live. Taking whatever he wants, whenever he wants. Obstacles? Those are to be removed. He doesn't mind using cruel means if that's what it takes to achieve his goals. In fact, as those are often more effective, he's even more inclined to using them. By the age of fifteen, he had already joined a local gang and made ends meet with jobs other people didn't want to do. Dirtying his hands for them. When he reached adulthood, his grandfather passed away, leaving him nothing but the shield he used in his active days as a pirate. Having taught him how to fight using it as a weapon, rather than a mere protective gear, Gran's grandfather deemed that to be more than enough for him as a pirate in the beginning of his life. Six months later, Gran had formed a small group to venture the seas with him. But it did not last. During one time he was absent, having left to visit his mother, he received the news of his crew being killed by some monster that drained their souls. Since then, he swore he'd find the culprit and have his revenge. Yet, he did not forget the childish dream of his, to conquer the seas with friends he could trust. His greatest struggle now would be to find a way to accomplish those two tasks without losing sight of one or the other.
