Gormain had never imagined he'd have a loving, family pack of his very own. When he had been left behind by his old clan for his unusual markings.. he had grown up in the care of the Apostle Garden's orphanage. The young Grimm had struggled with the reality he hadn't been wanted by his first Pack. He heard other Grimm's and saw them together. They always seemed so happy. When Drisden had come to the orphanage one day... it was fate that he and several other of his siblings were taken in. The head of the pack was his father Callahan, was mated to both Momma Drisden (even if he was a boy!) and his other Mom Lir. Each Grimm had a different role and contributed in different ways to the family dynamic. In this family including himself, a bakeneko naked Amon, a Baphomet named Kahlua, along with Milo, Kaia, and Sanyin who were the triad's children born of their magic. Gormain also knew one day they planned to have even more little ones. It was neat, Gormain couldn't wait to be a big brother!

Not only that, the young Grimm boy couldn't wait to grow up so they could one day run their own familiar adoption agency. He also wanted to provide shelter for unwanted/unloved ones, that had no other place to go. While he presently did not have a familiar of his own, he hoped to one day own a small army of them. With a firm plan in mind, Gormain knew with the backing of his Pack, they could be just about anyone he wanted to be! No matter what happened...he had them to fall back on.

Gormain had flourished and was an eager, excitable young Grimm. He liked to play and enjoyed chasing around familiars of all types and sorts in the hopes of being able to pet one or play with another kid who had one. Gormain wasn't the best with his reading skills and still had trouble quickly reading over most content. Upon discovering this, Kahlua had sat down with her young siblings and patiently worked with him to better identify and understand. This lead to his practicing writing, to memorize letters..which lead to his practicing reading more. After meeting Jin..he never wanted to be in a situation where if someone couldn't talk..he wanted to be able to read what they said! Words were more important than he gave them credit. He'd thought it was stupid and boring to learn how to do written words...when you could just talk. Meeting his new friend, however, had taught him a valuable lesson not everyone would, or could talk.

"Don't worry...I'll make sure I get really good at it so you can be comfortable too." His tail swished excitedly as he smiled.

The next time he met up with his friend..he planned to surprise Jin with his improved reading and writing abilities so the other didn't have to talk if it bothered her a lot. As nice as the hybrid had been to listen to..what if it makes her uneasy? The idea of making a friend uneasy just for the sake of being able to communicate..he could put in the effort to make an attempt on his part to show he was willing to put in the same effort it took for them to be able to talk.
