He was bored.
This was not, however, unusual. It was a relatively normal state of mind for Quintinite, who was currently sprawled on a hay bale with his arms outstretched, staring idly up at the cloudy, dark blue sky. The bale of hay was part of an unused, rather dismal looking children's park that had had a farm theme and at some point in time had been bustling with busy bee-like kids.
Now, however, it was deserted and abandoned.
Also old. And questionably cobwebby. Quintinite was trying not to think about how many creepy crawly things might be lurking in the dark, but since he had to deal with youma on a semi-normal basis, he supposed a bit of gross worms or whatever weren't too much of a problem.
But still. He did have a pretty nice uniform. It'd be a shame to ruin it.
The bubblegum in his mouth was a strange melon flavor. Quintinite tilted his head back and blew a large bubble, which popped a second later with a loud cracking sound. He was so bored. Maybe he should go find something or someone to do something with.
Except he didn't know anyone, really, except for all of one person, so that didn't even really count as an option.
Quintinite blew another bubble.

"And from the dark of night, blooms a brilliant flower." Lunaria made her appearance much like one would expect from a dramatic play actor. Her silhouette against the backdrop of the night sky, the moon, not really a special shape, and too tiny to really use for anything brought her shadow down on the bored man.
"In the trying times of need, evil shall not pass." She dropped down, veil covering her face. "If you are out tonight to fight, lieutenant-" She pulled it back giving Quinnie a bright and beautiful smile. "I will be your opponent."
Of course his bubble popped right at the end of her speech and she remained frozen, expecting his response to battle to be a summoning of his weapon.
"Excuse me sir, are we not going to duel this evening?" Lunaria was trying to be as dramatic as possible because she didn't want Lunaria to ever be mistake for Nevada in real life.

Quintinite lifted his head, though it took more effort than he would have cared to admit. A sleepy, bored look was directed towards the newcomer, an Order signature flashing through him as she came into view.
Or rather, as her tiny blob of a black silhouette came into view. Quintinite squinted up at her, trying to discern who or what she was, though it was quite apparent by the power signature alone that she was not on the same side of him. There was something clean and bright about her signature, something sterile about it that made him feel slightly off kilter.
He yawned. Then squinted more at her. Then chewed his gum a little more forcefully this time, wondering if he could produce a better bubble.
"Are we?" Quintinite asked, frowning. "I was perfectly comfortable, but I mean, if you want to fight, I'm okay with that."
He got slowly to his feet and brandished the heart shaped wand he'd been twirling idly in his fingers, pointing it somewhat dramatically at the senshi.
"What be your name, pretty one?" he asked.

Perhaps she needed to work on being more engaging in her combat? Or at least her challenge of so. His yawn and squinting of her made her pull back her veil and smile lazily at him.
Her body completely relaxed like he was.
"Well don't get up on my account-" Once he did though, summoning a heart shaped wand and she studied with a intimate curiousity before smiling at him again.
"I am Lunaria." She brought her hand up, summoning the silver coin. "Lunaria Crescent Coin*." The silver disc summoned, as she tossed it at the nega.
Kuropeco Lunarian Crescent Coin Lunaria summons a small seed pod of Lunaria and touches it to her lips. It brightens and turns into a small disc shaped like a silver coin (about the size of a salad plate) and throws it forward. The disc can hit an enemy for as strong as a punch and has potential to knock them back away from her. Range: 10 feet in front of her, The disc travels a straight line and disappears upon impact.Uses: 3

What he really wanted to do was to go back to sleep, but this seemed ill advised, considering that the senshi was now throwing something at him, which Quintinite found frankly rude. Although he had just told her that it was fine to fight, so really, everything was fine and dandy, if he thought about it enough.
He would have bowed, but since she was throwing things at him, he thought better of it, especially now that Quintinite was blasted back off of his feet by the force of impact. He staggered and slipped, crashing into a few dusty bales of hay and, with a gasp, dragged himself back up again, because his hair was going to get cobwebs in it.
"Ow," he complained, and brushed pieces of straw from his uniform. "Well, that hurt quite a bit. I suppose I shouldn't be offended, I did say this was fine."
Quintinite brandished the wand again and then, instead of using it (because it was really quite useless), threw out a kick towards the senshi's - Lunaria's - ankle instead.
"I'm Quintinite, but you can call me Quin or Queenie or whatever suits your purpose."

The gasp made her concern and she hadn't expected him to actually fall back. It was hard not to reach out to help him.
"Oh I couldn't tell if you were joking or not. I assumed we were honestly fighting." The kick surprised her and she stumbled back. If his goal was to sweep her off her feet, he had succeeded.
"Quinnie, then if you don't mind." Lunaria bumped her butt, "I suppose I deserve this, but I am obligated to say if you wanted to sweep me off my feet handsome, you could've done it another way."
She rubbed her butt.

"I mean," said Quintinite, brushing more hay from his uniform. "I suppose we must fight if that's what we're here to do. You're on that side, and I'm on this side, and that's what I've heard is the correct way to go about things, isn't it? I shouldn't like to interfere with the natural order of things."
Whatever that was. He possibly just didn't want to get into things, because he wasn't really jibing with it, but also because Lunaria seemed perfectly friendly for a senshi and she really was quite charming when it came down to it. Quintinite hopped backwards, a stray curl falling into one of his eyes. He brushed it aside.
"I mean, that is an option, if you'd like," he said mildly, brandishing his wand uselessly again. "I suppose I could've said something flattering or whatever the case may be, but, well, here we are, aren't we?"
Quintinite's smile tugged at his lips, easy and relaxed. "Hurt your arse there, sweetheart?"

She stuck her tongue out at him, smiling as she got up. "Sides are a silly idea to have, honestly. No one is actually ever right." She breathed in.
"A compliment on my mysteriousness would've been sufficient!" Her smiled relaxed into a lazy grin. "I do like your outfit, since I feel I should compliment you on your attire. You're the first nega I have truly met that isn't one with the cracked forehead and heart." Just remembering the white haired woman gave her a chill.
Unlike her, Quinnie didn't exude an aura of ruthlessness. He even seemed a bit well...lazy.
like her.
"Wanna rub it to make it feel better?" She winked at him.

He couldn't argue there.
"I'm quite sure there are good and bad to both sides," said Quintinite with a shrug. "I mean, isn't that how most stories go? No one is really truly evil, they always have some sort humanity left in them, from what I've seen, after all."
There was a small pause.
"Well, all right," Quintinite amended. "Not always. Sometimes people are just nasty buggers, I'll admit. But generally speaking, there's good and evil on both sides. They're such subjective and broad terms, in the grand scheme of things, you know."
She was grinning at him. Quintinite found he quite liked her, in spite of her alliance.
"Thank you very much," he said, with a mock bow, arms outstretched to the sides. "Also I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to - are Negaverse agents supposed to have cracked foreheads?" He reached up and rubbed his forehead as though half expecting there to be one that he just hadn't noticed before. "Perhaps I'm the wrong sort of agent."
The battle had gotten very off track. Quintinite couldn't be arsed to care.
"I mean, if you'd like me to make sure you're not completely hurt, then I'd be delighted to rub your arse," he said solemnly, but the corners of his lips were twitching, hiding a smile of his own.

Lunaria agreed. "What's the saying. There is three truths, yours, mine and whatever is in the middle?" She just shrugged.
"There any nasty buggers I shouldn't meet on your side?" She smiled, "Or something like that? Also like...Love our accent, darling. It reminds me of my best friend."
She waited and then poked her butt out at him.
"Be gently with me." She winked playfully at him, and barely contained the laugh that came out. "I'm sorry, it's so ridiculous, we should be fighting and here we are."

He raised his eyebrows.
“I’ve never heard that saying, but I’m going to use it from now on, thank you,” said Quintinite. Really, this was the best battle he’d had since joining the Negaverse - not that he’d had many before then, but that was beside the point. “Oh, I’m sure there are plenty of nasty buggers on my side, though right now I haven’t met any, so I can’t give you specifics.”
He didn’t even have a general to answer to, which was probably a problem.
Probably.
Quintinite mimed swatting Lunaria’s backside, though he didn’t actually touch her, just in case she wasn’t comfortable with that. “Your best mate must be a great person, then,” he said with a wink. “I see no problems with our fight, luv, we’re here and we did sort of fight, isn’t that good enough?”
He held his arms out in a vague shrug. “I’m quite pleased with the turnout.”

Lunaria smiled at him and then took a step back.
"I think that's good enough too. I mean, it's not like we're doing anything to cause fighting either." She contemplated, "I suppose then, We should call it a night. Or I will."
Plus she had napping to do, right?
And work tomorrow?

"You're right," said Quintinite, sweeping into a deep - and deliberately dramatic - bow with lots of unnecessary and dramatic flourishes before he straightened again. A glossy curl had fallen free from his updo and was now resting against one of his cheeks.
"I think we've done enough fightin', luv, wouldn't ye say?" Quintinite grinned, then stuck out his hand.
"I'll be glad to 'fight' you another time then, if you come find me again."

Lunaria nodded in agreement.
"I do agree! Well..." She blew him a kiss, "Until next time handsome!" And Lunaria was off with a magical flowery exit.
It didn't see that all negaverse agents wanted to fight. That was interesting in itself.
