Suddenly focusing in on what she was drawing, she realized she had doodled a bunch of children. Not just any children, though... They looked a little bit like her.
Dara paused. Did she want children?
Her life definitely felt empty. It was hard to say whether or not a child would fill the empty.
Okay, so a child would literally fill the emptiness of her apartment but would one or more fill the emptiness in her being?
Dara had never not thought she would have kids, she just always assumed a mate or two would come first. Then again, she had heard around that there was such a thing as a "mixer" to gain stones. In that way Dara would be able to have a partner in raising, if not in life... Maybe in life, if Dara was lucky.
By the time class finished Dara hadn't taken a single note, but she had made up her mind. A kid would certainly be fun and how hard could it be?
