When: Late afternoon
Where: Durem, Grocery store
Weather: Sunny, lower seventies.
The day was over at the Zoo for Sam, the Head Keeper of the Reptile House made some last minute checks before walking outside with her satchel. Her hair was in a long braid given as she'd been giving health checks to the large snakes today. As she walked outside she saw her charge, Reinhart, waiting with crossed arms. "I know, I know, I'm late," she said with a smile, "But I have to make sure everything is according to the rules."
Sam came to learn quickly that Reinhart was a stickler for 'the rules', whatever those may be. He learned them quickly and followed them to the letter. He also expected others to follow suit. This was the only reason he did not say something when she walked out 10 minutes later.
"Are we still going shopping?" he asked as he put his hands behind his back.
"Yes dear, I promised we would go buy you a bunch of fresh apples today. And I found a nice store that has a great variety," she smiled and took her truck keys from her satchel. Before long the two were in her truck traveling down to a more hipster area of town. Fresh markets and specialty stores were everywhere including the small grocery store. She parked and they both entered. "I'm going to get a few things, you go to the Produce section and I will meet up with you there. Just pick out the ones you want," she said as she went to get some items for dinner for herself the next few nights.
Reinhart looked over to the 'Produce Section', a vast array of vegetables and fruits spread out. Some were kept cool while others lay out in large tables. Floating over he glanced around until he saw the Apple Barn, a set of large tables with at least 10 different types of apples. His eyebrow raised as he gazed around them, wondering how they would all taste.
