Kasseri was home alone again. Her adopted daughter, Lalita, was at school at that moment and Kass was debating an important decision. She wanted another child in her household. She loved Lalita like she was her own, but Kass wanted more. She wanted more children, more laughter and light, more noise, love and happiness. She’d heard that there would be a mixer today and since Lalita was staying at a friend’s house overnight, she’d be free to go check it out. She grabbed her wallet and keys and headed out to the mixer.
