It had been a good while since Leon had been sucked into the mirror and awakened as a Dark Mirror Senshi. Even with the passage of time, he still didn't quite understand what he was supposed to do with this new power aside from "use the wraith thing to gather energy so everyone can use their powers still." That lack of knowledge meant that his powers didn't get used often, if at all. Still, he couldn't just forget that they existed, and so after a period of absence, Leon powered up into Mundilfari once again. After getting used to his fancy getup, he perched on a rooftop and stared out at the streets before him. Somehow, the jump to the roof felt instinctual, like he couldn't mess up unless he thought about it really hard, which he didn't. Watching the streets from up there gave him a new perspective, in a way. So this what what the city looked like from a bit higher up. In the distance, Mundilfari felt something large and warm, something bigger than himself, but like himself. Was this what it meant to sense others of his kind? Unsure of what to do, he stayed on the rooftop and waited to see if the aura would come closer. SSBrosB Sorry this took so long to come in!

"Another summer night with nothing to do." Mithra thought to herself. Unfortunately her boyfriend had been distant lately, not in terms of emotion, but in terms of being able to get together as he apparently had to do a few summer classes before starting medical school, and Mithra didn't like to schedule training sessions late in the day, and so she had a lot of time to herself lately. She often wondered if she should get a pet, but figured that Bluejeans was enough for right now. Maybe a dog at a later point. But what all of that really meant was that she had a lot more time to power up and drain people. Not that she didn't like it, but even when you like something, you can get bored of it, and that's was where she was at right now. Currently powered up and just bored. She didn't really like to be out at night without being powered up, just in case some pick-up artist decided to hit on her, but she could only do so much. So, she had been lazily jumping from building to building, looking at the ground and trying to see if she could find any potential victims as the last of the sun's rays fell across the horizon, until she felt the minuscule feeling of an aura in the nearby vicinity. And it was a Dark Mirror too! Well, there's something to do at least. She thought as she set off to follow it. Woe be to the poor senshi if they didn't want company tonight, because she was going to bother them anyway. She hadn't felt this aura before, and it felt weaker than hers, so she could at least tell it was a basic Dark Mirror that she had never met. Well, it was time to introduce herself. Eventually she was close enough to see him and hopped onto the roof that he was on. She gave him a hearty grin and a wave. "Hey! Good to see another Dark Mirror out tonight. Anything going on?" She wanted to see if she was missing out on something, though she highly doubted it.

Mundilfari jolted when Mithra landed on the roof and greeted him, to the point that his glasses went a little crooked. What the heck did he expect? Grinning right back, he righted his glasses and greeted Mithra right back. "Good to see you too! Anything going on? Hmm..." He paused to think. "Not really. I'm not the most 'happening' Dark Mirror out there, unfortunately. No one interesting has decided to attach to me yet, so I don't have many stories either. I just thought I'd put on the 'fuku' and get used to things a bit more." He paused again, this time looking a little embarrassed. "Yes, I'm new. Very new. Thanks for noticing me, Senpai." As if he could go five minutes without leaking nerd all over the place.

Well, at least this guy is eager to meet a fellow Dark Mirror. Mithra thought as she remembered the other meeting with a new fellow Dark Mirror. He wasn't as friendly. But this guy seemed to be willing to talk at least! "Yeah, unfortunately a lot doesn't happen with Dark Mirrors, or at least there hasn't been anything in a while. You can make energy collecting with wraiths a bit interesting though." She frowned a little knowing that there really wasn't too much, unless it involved building in the Mirrorscape, which she hadn't really done much with. After all, they had to drag in their own materials, and she wasn't any sort of engineer. She raised an eyebrow when he called her senpai, wondering if he actually was from Japan or was just a fanboy, but let it go. After all, the title was technically correct. "No problem. I like meeting as many Dark Mirror senshi as I can, whether they are old or new. I'm Mithra, Super Dark Mirror Senshi of Mantis Shrimp. What's your name?"

"Dark Mirror Sailor Mundilfari, and my sphere is Command!" Mundilfari announced the title with pride. This was what he got for letting Remarque turn him into a warlock, or something. "Mantis shrimp, huh? The punchy little guys? Cool. Not what I was expecting, but that's a good thing! The element of surprise is a neat advantage. Especially with punchy powers!" Not that he knew that was her power set for sure, but it made sense at the time. "What's that about the wraiths? Sounds like you've got a tip. As for me, I... am not even entirely clear on how to summon them. You just kind of release them from the mirror shard, let them flit around, and then...?" So fresh and new. He hoped that didn't make him too much of a pain to deal with.

"Command? That's interesting. I would imagine you can do a lot with that." Though they didn't get to choose their powers. That was the unfortunate part. "Yep! Mantis Shrimp. I think it's perfect for me. And I have to say, your uniform doesn't exactly say 'command', so we both have some surprise when it comes to our powers." She threw out her fist a bit playfully. "And punch powers it is! Well, mostly they're just powered up punches, but it's what I'm best at." It's not as if she would be any better with more complicated powers. She quickly got up her shard and held it up. "You just sort of call them out, like thinking about it or if you want you can say it out loud. They follow commands. But they go and steal energy from people because the Dark Mirror needs the energy to be able to use our powers. Civilians don't see them, so you can easily have them move through a crowd at say a coffee shop without anyone noticing them. However, others who have powers, whether they are Dark Mirror, Order, Negaverse, etc. they will be able to see them." Though she didn't usually use them for that. Only on rare occasions did she have hers go through a crowd when she was running low. Otherwise she had plenty of jerks who decided that they needed to hit on her to give her enough energy.

Mundilfari paused and searched his mind for what he knew about his powers. "In my case, command means I say a command, and then everyone in an area has to do the thing or they get bonked by a mystery object. Not an actual object, just a phantom force kind of like an object. Magic really is something." That went double, because he was a man of science in his civilian life. A man of science who also loved fictional magic, but 'fictional' was the key word there. "As for my uniform... well, what about the chains? Chains of command? Geddit?" He chuckled to himself. "I see... so we need them to keep us powered. Interesting." Mulling over the implications of draining energy was deferred for the time being. It made sense, sort of; magic had to come from somewhere, and even if he could live without his powers, the higher-ups would undoubtedly be unhappy if there was an energy shortage and they couldn't even power up. Seeing Mithra pull out her mirror shard surprised him, and it occurred to him that he could indeed pull his own out, if he just... ah, there it was now, popping into his hand from a phantom pocket. "Wow," he mumbled, a little too stunned to summon his wraith right away.

Mithra raised a brow at Mundilfari's explanation of the chain. It didn't exactly register to her at first, but it did make sense. She just wouldn't have thought of it right away. "That must be nice, to be able to command people to do something. Me though? Being able to send my fist at someone's face is good enough for me." She rarely did though, most of the time it was at an easier target like the chest. And she didn't want to crush someone's skull in accidentally either. People could die from punches in the head after all. She had to hide a smile thought when Mundilfari wowed at the shard. "It's as easy as that! Though you can't use the wraith's to fight at all. They're just there to collect energy so if someone tries to battle you when yours is out, you want to dismiss it right away because if they break the wraith then all of that collected energy is lost." It hadn't happened to her yet, but there were a few times that she had to get rid of it before going into a battle.

"Well, it's nothing too complicated," Mundilfari explained. "It's just a little instruction, like 'look left' or 'jump'. I can't tell people to do anything big, like walk in front of a car or tell me their deepest desires or something. It would be funny if I could make them say embarrassing things on command though!" He laughed at his own mental image. "I see, you're one of the damage-dealers. If I ever have to decide where people go, I'll be sure to put you on the front lines." He'd played too many tactics RPGs. "Gotcha. No wraiths in a fight. Hmm... I wonder..." He thought for a moment, focusing on the idea of summoning his wraith. Sure enough, a ghostly something flitted out of the mirror shard he was holding and then proceeded to flit away. "Wow, I actually did it," he said, watching the little phantom go. "Do I just think about calling it back to call it back, or is there anything special I have to do?"

"That sounds interesting. We could make a good team. Even if it's just small commands, if you could tell them to move into my way, then I could follow up with one of my punches!" It made her wonder though if there were any other good fighting combinations that could be made out of the various powers of the Dark Mirror. She would have to look into that, see if she couldn't find others who wanted to try it. "Though we don't have to, but in case we are ever fighting with each other, then it would be a nice combination."She stood back and watched as Mundil, as she was now calling him in her head, managed to summon a wraith from the mirror shard. "You can just think it. You don't have to say anything out loud if you don't want to. Soon enough you'll be able to do it easily. You can just think something like 'go to that group over there and drain energy until you are full' and it should work. And luckily they won't see a thing. Though the more energy a wraith has, the more likely it's going to be seen by someone else who is powered."
