Maybe it was a mistake bringing S'del back to his weyr but A'ye was worried with the way the man was stumbling. The noise of the dragons overhead meant little to nothing to him, as he just assumed it was a patrol out. Even if it was a chase he didn't even think anything of it - his dragon was a green after all and unless she was proddy, he wasn't proddy. The complete idea of someone else being in the middle of a flightlust escaped him, and maybe he'd regret it.

Likely not, considering S'del looked really out of sorts and it had the rider worried. It was late and he was stumbling around and what if someone saw him like that? A'ye wanted to help protect his status and his reputation, if he could, and by getting S'del out from view then no one would be able to judge.

.....what are you doing? As the pair entered into the weyr (and A'ye helped S'del into a chair), Oyath raised her head from where she'd been resting. The green knew A'ye had gone out to get a drink, but apparently she was not okay with him bringing back....that guy. Get him out of here.

"Hush, Oyath. He's clearly not doing well, and I can't exactly leave him be."

You could and you should.

"Stop it." A'ye snapped at his green, causing both of them to be faintly taken aback. "Sorry, I didn't mean it. Anyway Oyath, go back to sleep." The green grumbled but did as she was asked, her head lowering down even though her eyes remained open and red. With that taken care of, the green rider turned to focus back on his companion. "Do you need anything to drink, S'del? Would you....like to lay down or something?"

"I have plenty of klah, not a problem." A'ye smiled at the reply, happy he was able to do something to help. It was obvious he was still in a lot of denial over why S'del could be acting like this, coupled with Oyath's unsubtle hints, but for now he'd just do what he could. Slowly he turned away and went to gather and make what he could, pleased he'd thought to make a fresh batch that could easily by re-heated.

What he wasn't super pleased about was what came next and S'del's admission over Kindeth and a late night flight. The mug he'd been holding dropped from his hand, splashing its burning hot contents all over much of his clothing as it connected with the counter. A'ye backed up with a stunned gasp and quickly moved to pull his shirt off, only to stop mid-yank as he again remembered what S'del had just said.

He'd gone and brought home someone in the middle of flightlust. Someone he had slept with before and currently still held a massive torch for and a desire to sleep with again. Someone that if he went and made a move towards A'ye there would be nothing but open consent on his end. But would it be consent on S'del's? The Weyr had made people know so often what what happens during flight was one thing, feelings were another, and now?

Oyath reached out and touched his mind, a little irritated. This is exactly why she'd told him to toss S'del out, and her jealousy over Kindeth not being there was lightly tinging her mental words. A'ye softly assured her things were okay, that he'd be able to handle whatever came of this.

"Do...you want to leave?" A'ye's hand rested still on his shirt and if S'del looked close he could probably see the white in his knuckles. "I...if you need to be alone you're welcome to rest here, or I can send someone in for you." He wanted to offer himself but what level of ego did that involve? Just straight up saying 'oh yes, your dragon is flying so please feel free to sleep with me!!' ? There was no way A'ye could do that.
