"Summer really is the best for this kind of stuff." Mithra said to herself as she watched her wraith continue to take energy from the a-hole who had been unlucky enough to start catcalling her at this time of night. Thank goodness she had these powers, or else she would have only been able to run and call the police. And of course they wouldn't do anything.
It had rained the day before and so the overall temperature had cooled off for a bit and it was now in the 70s at night, just perfect. Honestly she could probably sleep outside tonight if she wanted, but instead she would have to be inside, with the window closed, and only wishing she was out camping or something.
Right now though, she was more focused on trying to drain energy from the unconscious man as fast as she could. Lately when she had been draining, she had been running into all types of powered and either battling or talking with them. Tonight she just wanted to drain in peace and then go back to her apartment.
Unfortunately for her, that was not to be tonight, as she felt the small pinprick of an aura and she rolled her eyes and sighed loudly. "Really?!" She said, not caring if anyone nearby heard her. After all, if they did, she could just knock them out and drain their energy too.

Alhambra was starting to get used to doing a sort of nightly patrol. It was a pretty cool sort of duty to have, honestly, dangerous or not, and he had taken to kick youma here and there like a new enthusiastic hobby. What better way to get back in shape than in being a badass, after all?
Tonight's circulation had been rather peaceful up until he felt the bad vibes again. He couldn't quite tell what was different about it, but it definitely grabbed his attention, and with a quick stretch he began to run over. His sandals scraped against the concrete as he slid to a halt past the corner of a building, facing an alleyway in which...Wait a second. Pretty girls could have bad juju around them? No fair.
"Hey, girl!" he greeted her cheerfully nonetheless. "Mind stepping away from the guy? He looks like he's had a few too many drinks."

Mithra growled at the page as he got closer. And he seemed so confident about what he was doing too! It pissed her off. She was not going to deal with some I'm-the-hero-guy page. At least not without throwing a punch. And she almost did take a swing at him when he got too close.
"Probably. But I'm teaching him a lesson. I don't care if he won't remember it." After all, the jerk had been catcalling her. She had only punched him once after powering up and he had fallen unconscious. One hundred percent deserved in her opinion. "If you don't want the same thing to happen to you, you'll go. Now." She wasn't up for conversation tonight, especially with some page who just called her 'girl'. She was out of her teens for goodness sake!
She continued to drain energy out of the man, but if the page took even one step closer to her, she would be sending her fists out. Though she wouldn't use her powers just yet. After all, she liked to save those up when she was sure that they would hit.

Lesson, huh? "Aight, he said a few things he shouldn't have," Brendan continued, indeed taking that cautious step forward, hands up. "Or did something, I dunno. But draining him seems like a bit much, don't you think?"
He was pretty sure someone else would have been throwing fire and s**t by now, but he stood by his code: hitting a woman, whatever side she was on, wasn't his style.
"How's about I take you somewhere better?" He extended his hand. "I can tall ya the beach is a pretty sight at night. Get a rum and coke, dig your toes in the sand, the good s**t~"

Mithra could feel her eye twitch. She dropped the man immediately, not caring if he got hurt in the process. This... page was hitting on her! She saw red. This guy was exactly like the man she had just drained! Before she knew it, she had launched herself at the page, fist out, ready to hi the guy squarely in the face.
Oh yeah, she was definitely going to use her powers on him. If she could just make sure that he stayed still long enough so that she could at least get 3 hits in...
She briefly wondered if she should announce that she had a boyfriend, but it wouldn't really matter now would it? If she did, this page might back down, and she wanted to punch him too badly now to let him get away.

Brendan did not see that coming. By instinct his hands went to his face, but he was thrown back with a grunt of pain, his sandals skidding on the pavement to keep up upright.
"Yikes. Okay, bad form, you're right," Brendan apologized, wincing as he shook his hand out. He took a proper stance this time. "Seriously, though, last chance to back off." Like she hadn't already tossed the first punch.

She smirked at him. "The time to ask me to do that was before you hit on me." She replied getting closer to him. If he attacked her, she might just be able to get a magic attack in. Even if she didn't beat the page to a pulp, it would still be nice to attack someone who could possibly fight back tonight. Sometimes hitting someone in the face did not have the same satisfying feeling of doing it when they were awake and had tried to defend themselves.
"Here, I'll let you get the next punch in. See if you can actually do anything." Well, she would let him throw a fist at her, but she didn't say she would let it connect.

That was just a nice offer! Alhambra, for all his social skills, sometimes felt himself so lost when it came to women, and he withheld a sigh. "Well, that's nice of you," he chirped, arms up and fists clenched in something akin to a boxer's neutral stance. "I guess you're right, though. I didn't even catch your name first. I'm Alhambra, for instance."
Without warning, he ducked low and swept a leg out to trip her up.

Damn page is trickier than I thought. She mused to herself in her head as she was caught without warning. She fell, but managed to make it so that she wouldn't land in a way that would seriously hurt her. "I'm not one for giving my name out to guys who just hit on me." She spat out. She jumped back to her feet.
She wouldn't be caught off guard this time. And this page had done it for anyone else who might seem nice to her whom she was fighting against. Nice job making me hate you guys even more. She thought. First he had hit on her, and then he had taken advantage of her. It wouldn't happen again.
She should be within range now... she only hoped that it would connect. "Shrimp Super Punch!" She yelled as her fist was thrown at him.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Shrimp Super Punch Mtihra puts out one of her fists as if she were to punch someone. This creates an air attack that, if it hits, makes the target feel as though they have been punched. She can throw out 1 punch per 5 seconds and lasts 20 seconds (she can only get 4 punches in pretty much).
They are non-lethal and non-maiming though they hurt quite a bit and can knock them back 7 feet at most. Opponents must also be within 3 feet of her otherwise the spell does not effect them. Can only hit one opponent at a time.
Effect that happens is light emits when she throws out her punches from her gloves. Can turn slowly in a circle to change direction.

"Shrimp wh--?"
Oof. It wasn't the punch, that arm had fallen short of actually hitting, but the air she had forced his way winded him. His feet audibly scraped against the concrete as he was forced back, which was probably for the best. Alhambra needed to get his breath back and re-think approaching.
It would've been nice if he had a weapon to go in with and not, say, a wind chime. It had jangled noisily in the blow back, as if wailing.
"Sure, sure," Alhambra said as he coughed. "Just trying to be polite." Y'know, while fighting. God, this was a weird job.
He wiped at his mouth before bursting back in with a leap, fists up but leading with his feet. If her punches were more dangerous than anything else, he'd have to maneuver around it and keep her from staying in stance.

Mithra was a bit frustrated. She had never been able to completely pound her opponents into anything. She just wished that one time she would be able to pummel an opponent into submission. Or into a state of unconsciousness, either way it would have helped with some of her pent up anger.
"Being 'polite' doesn't make unwelcome hit-ons any better." She replied, assessing the situation. Once again she had managed to back her opponent up, but if he was being defensive and she decided to be defensive, they would be stuck in a stale mate.
It was annoying that the one who attacked first was at a disadvantage if their opponent was ready for an attack. She cursed under her breath. Instead she decided to do something a little different, and jumped up into the air, landing behind the 'knight'. If she was correct, she had more of an opening now...

All right we can either continue this for a while longer or end it in a couple/few more posts. Whichever one you want!

He hadn't considered that point. Was he the creep? Well, s**t, he might have to think about it. Later, though, when she wasn't styling on him.
"Fair enough."
She was definitely fast, which was a problem. Alhambra tilted his head to follow her, eyes wide, and instinctively ducked down in case she tried to hit him from above. When she didn't, it left him in the disadvantage, but damn it if he didn't try to go from a squat to a leap at her in turn. Navy training didn't exactly go for the smash and clash protocol, but he had been modifying it for his particular style ever since he earned his ring.
