User ImageShe had decided to find Pahana again. Finding him wasn’t too difficult, she had of course discovered that after she had shown him around he had ultimately decided to hang around the watering hole advertising his presence. She knew of course that this was a good place for males to be even pale maned ones like him. The traditionalists of the pride were whispering about the severe lack of dark manes in the males. Their recent changing of the guard hadn’t amused them at all. She didn’t care, her mind was elsewhere. Faust was on her mind. She had decided that he was suitable for her needs and while she hadn’t quite gotten around to asking him yet she was on the verge of proposing her query to him. She had ultimately decided she wanted some cubs. A few individuals had helped with this, foremost amongst these was Pahana. Though she hated to admit that he was the reason she had decided she wanted to be a mother. His presence had encouraged her to finally pursue that which she had never really thought about before.

She had decided ultimately, though he didn’t know she felt this way that she had to thank the palest of males. It was with this in mind that she had gone on a small, solo hunt. She didn’t hunt alone very often, what she could catch alone really wasn’t worth the expended energy, but today she had made an exception and the antelope between her jaws was proof that she had succeeded.

Pahana lay in the shade happily relaxing out of the sun. The trees cast a dappled pattern across his whole body and a light breeze ruffled his this mane. He had no reason to actually move today, unless someone requested it of him or if he felt hungry. It was a good life living here, very little was expected of him. He had, had many conversations with a lot of different females and some males, since he had joined the bone lands pride but no one had requested his services yet. He was quite sad about that but it wasn’t like he didn’t have time. His life here had only just begun after all.

A familiar scent came to his nose and he moved in to a more vertical position. The lioness that had shown him her pride when he had joined had popped by every so often to scoff at him. In a way, she was his friend though he doubted she would ever admit that. She had shown him her world and he had simply followed along for the ride he had learned much about the pride learning of the lands that he now resided in. He was grateful to her and he had told her so on more than one occasion. She never thanked him for anything, he didn’t expect it, he knew exactly what she thought of him, she thought he was a cad, and he could hardly deny that. He liked the ladies that was why he had joined the pride. To show his strength and to spend some quality time with the pretty girls.

He had at least spent some time with females just not in the way he wanted, still he could sit and admire them and even strike up conversations with them. They were always willing to talk and he was willing to offer them an ear and a devilishly handsome smile. He hadn’t really expected to see Rabia today but as she walked towards him he faintly realised that she was actually coming to see him. She was making a beeline in his direction and she definitely wasn’t charging off towards someone else.

Placing what he had always assumed to be an amazing grin on his maw the blue eyed lion winked at the female. “Hey pretty lady, you lookin for me?” He raised a curious brow. He would probably get cuffed for that particular comment but he was willing to take a chance.

Rabia growled around the small antelope that she was carrying in her mouth. She wanted to call him an idiot but the antelope was too big to actually speak around. Instead she marched up to the very white male and dropped the antelope on his paws. “idiot.” She sniffed and growled “This is for you.” She grumbled looking away from him, she wasn’t embarrassed but she didn’t want to be thanked by him or admit that he had given her good advice. This was the closest she would ever come to saying thank you to an Inselelo so he had better appreciate her offering.

The white male gave a grin as the small creature was dropped on his paws. It looked tasty. Looking up at Rabia he held back a chortle, she looked so stubborn looking away in another direction so he couldn’t meet her eyes. He wasn’t actually sure why she was bringing him such a treat but he was grateful for it. “This looks tasty, thanks.” He looked up at her and smiled, for once without any extra flare to his grin.

Rabia looked back at the white lion and grumbled. “There is no reason for this. Just eat it and don’t expect another one.” She sniffed and shot a glare at him daring him to ask why she had fetched the little delight for him. She would never admit it of course. He would have to just accept the present and leave it at that or face her wrath for daring to ask why.

Pahana gave a nod. He most certainly wouldn’t ask why. Licking his lips the white male tore in to the creature on his paws. It was a nice little gift. He appreciated it and by eating it there and then he felt that his thanks was more than well received.

The tan lioness rumbled and turned away from the pale male. “Don’t expect another one.” She growled and trotted away without another word, her tail lashing behind her. Her debt was paid and she didn’t need to do anything more for Pahana. She just had to speak to the right male now.
