Skye Starrfyre Hope this is okay! Please let me know if anything needs to change! The evening clouds had dissipated to reveal a clear view of the night sky. Light pollution from the city had hidden some of the twinkling from the naked eye, but perhaps those that were aligned with stars could feel them nonetheless. Beneath them was a son of the stars, white cape lifting slightly in the wind. He sat upon one of the decorative stone sculptures that dotted the park, gazing upwards. His white hair was a beacon in the darkened shadows, but it was not his appearance that drew her attention. He was a Knight, and it was Knights she was seeking for answers to the many questions she had. He would have felt her approach long before he saw her, their signatures covering huge swaths of land every time they powered up. Landing in the quiet area of the park, Kallichore made her way towards the Knight to introduce herself. She didn't often work with Knights, save for Valhalla, so even she wasn't sure how receptive Knights might be. "Excuse me? I don't mean to disturb you. I am Kallichore." said she, keeping her voice low and respectful in case he was meditating or something else incredibly important. "I was hoping for your help."

"Kallichore?" He was all smiles as he peered up from where he'd been staring at the signet ring he wore on his index finger. The moonstone picked up just enough light to shine, the blue stone filled with a field of stars containing the joint symbol of Mag Mell and Cosmos. He'd upgraded the ring recently-- twice, actually-- with the help of the Mauvians belonging to the cousins. He thought it would feel different with the added technology, yet somehow the ring was still just that; a ring. He hopped down from his perch, extending a hand to the young woman whose white stood out just as brightly as his own in the dark of night. "Corvus has mentioned you before. She says you're good people... And anyone that Corvus says is 'good people' is someone that I'd be only too happy to help. Mag Mell, of Cosmos. What can I do for you?"

Skye Starrfyre Sorry about the wait! Been... distracted. >_> Mag Mell, as she'd come to know him, was all politeness and manners - something Kallichore would always appreciate. Taking his hand in a firm shake, the senshi nodded her head to him. "Ah, I wasn't aware Corvus was speaking of me, but it's a relief to know it's positive. I should have known she'd have connections. It's a pleasure, Mag Mell." Pulling her pen and paper from subspace, she looked more of a reporter than a senshi on patrol duty. "To be quite honest, I've been woefully neglectful in learning about our allies in the war. Truthfully, I've been too consumed with my own problems, though that is behind me now." One long sleeve was adjusted and Kallichore gestured to the luminescent markings that adorned her skin. "I was hoping I could learn some things from Knights, and find out just how I, and other senshi, can assist. The more unified we are as a front, the better we can protect those we care about." Another nod, mostly to herself, the senshi continued. "I was alerted to an app someone named Alya had developed, which now allows cross-communication. I can now call you from my cellphone - to your ring, I assume. To be quite honest, I'm not sure exactly the mechanism behind it, but since when do the Mauvians cease to surprise us? If you don't mind, would you please tell me what your ring does, exactly? And what do you do, as a Knight? I'm aware you have a place in space, but my knowledge is woefully lacking."

"I suppose I should start off by telling you that, collectively, our knowledge is woefully lacking. Each of us has our own story to tell and while some of us might link back to a common bond -- Cosmos, Chronos, Neptune and so on -- there's not a welcome book that helps us find our way." For him it was possibly more difficult because he hadn't started off at the beginning, as Bermuda was. He had been dropped into Order as a Knight with no idea what it meant to actually be one beyond knowing that he was no longer bound to the Negaverse. "Rings are capable of transmitting written messages. With an upgrade or two we're able to communicate with senshi, something that my fiancee takes a bit of relief in, and access aps.... Although that might be a bit much for me. I try to keep the powered side of my life simple." A wry grin touched his lips as he looked to the senshi. His powered life was far too complicated to be simple and he knew that well enough. Nothing about purification was simple when you weren't trying to hide who you'd been. "As a Knight what do I do? I believe the standard would be to serve and protect. The Negaverse destroys, the senshi fight and we defend our homes." In the past he was certain that had involved their ties to their Wonders, but now it was up to them to stand guard over Earth. "How many knights have you spoken with so far, Kallichore, if I might ask?"

Woefully lacking. They had more in common than she realized. Crossing her arms, the senshi nodded while Mag Mell confirmed the capabilities of Knight signet rings. The fact that several others said the same meant no one was exaggerating. "I should like to think something like an easily-access training course or document might be helpful for Knights both new and old. However, coming from a senshi like myself might come off as..." She tilted her head. "Condescending, which would entirely defeat the purpose of such an endeavor. Mag Mell, would you be interested in trying to create something like that?" Oh how Kallichore loved the idea of writing upon parchment with a pen and real ink to send it across vast distances with the use of magic. It was a romantic notion. His question brought her out of her reverie. "How many? Tanais of Mars, Mont Saint Michel of Saturn, Okolnir of Polaris, and now you, of Cosmos. Valhalla of Jupiter and I used to be in a Court of sorts, but that was many years ago and it has since dissolved to the best of my knowledge. And, if I may, congratulations on the engagement." She bowed her head quietly. "It is comforting to know lives can and do continue outside the scope of this war."

It probably said something about his level of activity as a Knight over the past however many years that he didn't know the names she listed off. His connections were few, and that was hardly helpful given his own personal goals. He'd spent so much time building his strength back up that he hadn't actually thought about where he would go after that. He looked like he might wallow in that realization for the briefest of moments before he was smiles all over again. "Thank you. It's... He's been a light in the dark for me on a number of occasions. I wouldn't be who I am today without his reassurance, even if I'm sure that he would say otherwise." He was convinced that everyone needed someone or something in their lives to make the war worth fighting for.

"I know you don't need someone to tell you to hold onto that light. It does an old veteran good to know such a thing still exists, and that others found theirs. May you continue to reap the bounty of happiness for years to come." With a silent prayer, Kallichore lowered her head for a few moments. She was well aware that any "blessing" she might bestow ultimately meant little, perhaps the Cosmos was listening and would grant extra leniency to one of its own. She hazarded continuing the with her next question, unsure if Mag Mel would be interested in this endeavor or not. "I can easily grant you the template I used for the primer, to make something for Knights. Knights would know much more about the issues facing them than someone like me. My brother is also a senshi, and has a cat who could help. I'm sure other cats could assist, if need be. I'd be happy to act as a consultant as well. I'm simply interested in allowing others to become as informed as possible, so we can each make our own decisions."
