Lucia was having alot of fun playing Giulia, holidays were really the best especially when they meant long weekends that the young senshi could spend having fun with her best friend. She looked up from a picture she had been coloring. Despite the fun she was having she did feel like doing something more exiciting
Then Lucia had in her opinion a very good idea. She got a conspiratorial fox like grin on her face. "Hey Giulia, lets go to Ara!" She suggested to her younger senshi comrade.
The senshi of illumination had been on a quest on her homeword for the orbs of light she had seen in one of her visions for several months now. She felt like she was getting close to one of them and searching for it would be so much more fun with a friend.

Giulia always loved getting to hang out with Lucia. The fact that the older girl had picked Giulia to be best friends with was an honor that had the almost-eight-year old practically beside herself almost every time they got together. And she always had so much fun, even if she couldn't quite to all the fun things an older girl could like go shopping at the mall without a momma, and they couldn't exactly help each other with homework, but-
But they had lots of fun going on adventures and playing games, and dressing up, and soon Giulia would be able to plan another party, and maybe this time she would get Lucia to help?
She chewed on her lip as she colored carefully, trying to draw on a scaley pattern to the mermaid tail she was designing in colored pencil. And her head bounced up when Lucia spoke. "Oh!" her eyes lit, and she scrambled over to her backpack, pulling out her little henshin pen. "Okay! I like visiting Ara." They dressed up, and played princess, and explored all kinds of places! And everything was so bright and colorful there- it was great! "I'll power up once we're there, so we only have your power." she said brightly. "Then my little Boop and I can come out to play!"

Lucia ran over to her little purse on a coat rack, she pulled her glittering henshin pen from the purse. She spoke her transformation phrase "Ara Constellation Power, Make Up!" She spun around in a little dance as sparkles and colors enveloped her transforming her into Super Sailor Ara.
She took Guilia's hand pulled out her phone hitting the app that transported them to Ara. They soon appeared on a bright grassy hill, she could see brightly colored ruins in the distance standing tall against vibrant landscape. As always on Ara the sun was shinning brightly and it was a perfectly warm day.
She waited for Giulia to power up into charybdis. "Come on she said excitedly lets go check out that place!" She said pointing to the ruin.

By the time Lucia was powered up and transferring them to her homework, Giulia was practically vibratimg with excitement. The sight of the glistening, shimmering planet filled her with the same sense of see as always, and she took a moment to peer around. She powered up quickly, her fuku shimmering into place, and she pushed back the hood of her little capelet- it wasn't needed, in this lovely place. She left it on, though, in case they needed a blanket later. "That place looks great!" She cheered, and small legs burst into a sprint, small body rushing towards the ruin. The little ballerina was practically prancing as she went, letting her body fly into the air and settle in big, bounding jump-strides. At last she arrived, and peered curiously at the ruin, looking for an entrance. "It is like being a Toom Raider," she said quietly, eyes shining, "but without a mummy curse. Unless- did Ara have mummies? Do you think we will be cursed?" She sounded way too enthused about the idea.

Ara thought for a moment her finger resting on her chin. "I dunno but if there are any mummies I'll beat them up before they can curse us. This is my planet and I'm not gonna let some dumb old mummy hurt us." She declared confidently. After all what did they have to fear Giulia had become powered and she had reached the rank of super, they were practically unstoppable together.
Ara looked along the walls for an opening when she had another vision of her past self, older more elfish looking version of herself walked along the edge of the same version of the painted building however this time the ruin was not a ruin at but was fully intact . The older girl approached a painted image of the sun, she touched the sun and pushed a bit of her magic into it and the sun disappeared into a sun shaped opening.
Ara came back too shaking her head she looked for the same symbol. She found it behind a fallen pillar, the color was faded like it was had been bleached from the sun. "Charybdis I think I found the way in!" She called out to her friend. She placed her hand on the symbol following the actions of her past self the stone and paint disappeared leaving a sun shaped hole that the two tiny adventurers could fit through.
Climbing through Ara saw that the ruin was dark lit only by light streaming in from an opening in the roof. Ara could see they were in a small room filled with glittery gold treasure piled high. There was a hallway leading into the ruin . Right at the entrance to the hallway was a small glowing crystal in a sconce.

Lucia was so strong and brave! Giulia was lucky to have her as a best friend, and the younger girl drew her shoulders square, made bold by Ara's bravery. "Yeah," she agreed, voice bright and excited, "we will do a wham and a bam!" Her small arms mocked karate chops. "And then the mummy will go POOF!!!!" Stupid mummies! She was still whamming and bamming her invisible rival only a moment later, when Ara called to her, and a door opened in the wall! Ahhhhhh, her Ara was just the cleverest person! She had already found a secret passage! Charybdis leaped towards her friend, giving her an excited hug. "You found a secret tunnel~" she sing-songed happily, and was hot on the older girl's heels as they moved through. Everything. Shone. It was like opening the jewelry box that had belonged to her birth mommy, that Jada said was going to be hers one day, except this was on the floor and in big piles. So maybe more like a bank or something. It was... "The cave of wonders," she breathed, thinking of the Aladdin movie. Treasure had lined the walls, and there had been a flying carpet, but that had been in a tiger head, and there had been a lamp. The glow of a gem in the wall caught her eye, and Giulia wandered towards it, peering at it. "Magical lantern gem?" She asked, and poked a finger towards it, wondering if it gave off heat.

Ara moved over to magical lantern gem plucking it up from the sconce. It lite up the area in front of her. "We can use it like a torch." She said to her friend. "We should stay together." She said taking Charybdis' hand, the buddy system would be best in an unexplored dark ruined.
She made her way through the door into the ruin. A hallway stretched out before them as the pair continued down. Ara noticed the light reflecting weirdly off of one of the stone slabs making up the floor it was almost like the light was going through it. "Charybdis wait. I think it's like Indiana Jones, there are traps." She said "Ara Luminescent Starshine." She fire her magic at the floor the blast of light going right through it making it obvious the floor was just some kind of hologram.
She handed Charybdis the light gem before jumping over the hole. She motioned for her friend to follow suit. "Come on I'll catch you." She promised.
