So far, information gathering was going well. Kallichore had learned a thing or two about Knights and how they functions, birthing bullet points across many pages of paper to transcribe with the help of a Mauvian or two. Kallichore was a lover of literature, and found computers to be a necessary evil. Instead, she preferred a pen and paper even though it was slower and much less efficient. Something about ink on paper always made her heart flutter in excitement.

The more knights she could meet, the more information she could gather and, theoretically, disseminate.

Arcing through downtown, the city nightlife bustling and busy in the warmer weather, a brilliant flare shone on her mental peripherals. A Knight to be certain, though she could never tell which. She'd met a few on her endeavors, and more were always welcome, even if some were reluctant to power up or meet with a senshi. Not all were interested.

This one, however, shone brightly with a confident power. She wore red - something simple that endeared the senshi to her already - and held herself with pride. Shoulders back, chin raised, dark hair flowing in the slight breeze. Whoever she was, she was powerful. Kallichore lit on the opposite corner of the building on which this Knight stood and knew the woman was more than aware of her presence several blocks earlier.

"Good evening. I hope I'm not interrupting. My name is Kallichore, and I'd hoped to speak with a few Knights. I have some questions for you, if you don't mind?"

This was the third time someone opened with a flirtatious line, and Kallichore blushed just as fiercely a red as either of them wore. With a wave of her hand before her face, the senshi had hoped the darkness would hide the blush, and cool wind across her cheeks would chase it away with the utmost haste.

This Knight pulsed a kind of confidence and power unlike anything Kallichore had seen in many years. While she wasn't royalty by any means, Tanais had a distinctive presence about her. The Knight of Mars held her head high, shoulders back, stance powerful. That presence was something the senshi could appreciate - someone at home with their power, comfortable with their destiny, so to speak.

"That's quite alright. Any information will do. I'm afraid I'm woefully ignorant when it comes to our allies, and I'd hoped to rectify that in any way I can. Thank you for taking the time from your patrol to assist me in this endeavor."

Reaching down, she smoothed her skirts while gathering her thoughts, transcendent markings faintly aglow.

"I know some things, but wish to know more. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you are a Knight of Mars? I know Knights have a place to call their own in space like we do, but I know very little about it. And your rings... how do they operate? Connections would be very helpful as well, thank you. I hope to be able to provide you with something worthwhile for your time, Tanais."

Kallichore's body language betrayed her interest in the information, leaning forward to gather up every word, every phrase. She hadn't the slightest idea that the rings could create, seal and send messages in the same way someone from the days of old might with wax and ink. Being a bibliophile and lover of all things written word, she found herself longing for a ring of her own, if only for the pleasure of sending a real letter on parchment to someone else.

The upgrade with a hologram was efficient though aesthetically disappointing. "Thank you, Tanais. That explains why Ganymede might receive a paper out of thin air. I never felt quite comfortable enough to pry and ask about it. Personally, I'm rather fond of the idea that parchment can be magically delivered. It's... perhaps, more meaningful."

Tapping her chin, Kallichore took in the idea that Wonders were smaller places, but not any less important. The fact that one Knight could visit another if they occupied the same planet and knew the route was incredibly interesting. It seemed, to her, on paper, Knights were much more connected to one another than senshi.

In theory. She knew from experience that Order did not mean unity in any sense of the word.

"I've not heard of a summons before. What is that, if you don't mind me asking? And I've heard of Hvergelmir, but we have not met. I believe she's a Cosmos Knight? I used to work alongside Valhalla of Jupiter, but the Court has long since dissolved to my knowledge. It's a shame, but it's for the best, I think."
