As was his want, Y'mar of Bronze Worenth had set up a Feast for the new clutch, working with Western to negotiate the fine details. Western Weyr had been kind enough to send a shipment of most excellent tea and klah for the weyrlings and Weyrfolk alike - for indeed, Western Weyr was made welcome to join High Reaches in their shared festivities. "Children," Y'mar said, addressing the arriving new weyrlings, along with their High Reaches compatriots. "We had intended to hold this Feast for you when your dragonets Impressed, but circumstances being what they were, we were forced to wait until your new hatchlings were old enough to be carried safely between without risk."

Be welcome, young ones, Worenth told the Western dragonets. For it was probably quite an overwhelming experience for ones so young! There is fresh water for you, as well as herd beast. If you prefer to have wherry, please let an attendant know, and they will be pleased to bring some to you. Leaning down, the Weyrsecond's large Bronze observed the small new weyrlings. He made a rumble of approval, and then ushered them forward into the dining hall. They were still quite small enough to attend.

OOC notes:

  1. This RP is for everyone, including people visiting from outside of the Weyr, as well as all Western riders and weyrfolk. That includes Candidates.
  2. There is to be absolutely no drinking for new weyrlings, unless they wish to encounter dire consequences.
  3. No canoodling or excessive fraternizing for new weyrlings, and that includes flirting. If your rider is having pants feelings you have gone too far.
  4. We'll keep the Feast open for as long as it seems to be still running.
  5. Bring your dancing shoes and party clothes!
  6. There is a tea party set up for this particular clutch, upon the suggestion of the Weyrwoman. A very, very large tea party.
  7. That includes dragonets, although they will have water or tisane (herbal tea.)
  8. Everyone is encouraged to wear their gather best, including the weyrlings!
  9. Although the usual assortment of food is available, everything has been arranged beautifully, and there are finger sandwiches and so on to delight even the most particular of palettes.
    Schmoozing ahoy!
  10. More??

For all the planning, it would easily be said that none was more eager for the visitation than Cordrath - though he'd been better than to poke and prod about how things were coming along. M'nr had convinced him to trust in their new home to be ready to treat his young ones as they deserved, but the coming feast had still lingered in the bronze as he'd watched things come together from his new ledge.

Susurinth had been flooded with images of the preparation along with his growing eagerness for her to come see his home, their children, and for him to see those which would come with her in turn. It would be the first time the entire family had been together outside of their shells - many had been taken back to their Weyrs before young Saith had finally been ready to hatch.

As the visitors from Western began to filter in, both rider - dressed as presentably and properly as he'd ever been seen since settling at High Reaches - and dragon were on hand, ready to greet. Perhaps only the rider would be ready to chat up everybody, however. Cordrath was ready to look over each of his visiting young ones and make sure they were doing alright with his own eyes.

Overwhelming could have been an understatement. There were the usual sensitivities to the gathering people's and dragons' emotions, and then there was Saith's unique and unfortunate contribution to it all. To make anything late was a horror in and of itself, and then there was the embarassment...And she knew others knew it was her. And it was terrible that she had made them wait, she who couldn't stand being late herself, and she felt like maybe she should apologize, and--

Hey, it's okay. I promise you no-one cares. Raelin tried her best calming mental nudge, still getting used to the bond even two months in. Saith had been in an unusual cycle of anxiety and self-deprecation ever since it had been announced that the feast would go on after all, and it ramped back up as they entered the hall. I could try carrying you, Raelin offered with a wry smile.

It worked, somewhat. The image of her rider attempting to lug an almost 9 foot green around eased Saith's stress.

No-one was privy to the inner turmoil, at least. Both were well accomplished at presenting their best front to others, and they strode forward with the confidence of a weyrwoman and her gold. Raelin continued to inject other silly little thoughts as Worenth spoke, enough that the phrase circumstances being what they were only earned a small wince from Saith.

Let's get some food, Raelin suggested afterwards as they entered the hall.

Some of the haunch, please. And a little wherry? Saith looked about the hall, eyes wide but remaining blue and green. She was eager to visit with her family first, especially the siblings from Western. As Raelin set off to get some, she made her way to Cordrath, making extra sure that she looked as dignified as could be, until she sat down next to him, ready to greet the rest by his side.

Hello, Papa, she greeted him, a child's love exuding from her in spite of her more mature posturing. Are you ready to see everyone together?

Aspalath shifted uncomfortably as he noted another group of people filtering into the area of the feast. In fact with each passing second the crowd was growing. Including young riders with many of the blue's siblings. His clutch sibs that he had not seen since his own hatching upon that strange abandoned beach. Honestly the feast was close to being the poor blue's worst nightmare. High intensity crowds with both strangers and others that knew him just enough to be able to judge him without further contact. No surprise then that his attention was hardly on the welcome speech.

Erastan of course could sense his rising anxiety and put a gentle hand on his partners shoulder. He didn't even need to reach down to do it anymore. Aspalath was shooting up along side the rest of the tea clutch (though nothing compared to the bronze brothers and gold sisters) yet his stature remained slim and more delicate than his fellows. Erastan had never had to worry about the young blue over gorging since he was far to self conscious to even consider it.

'Oh Erastan.' The blue lamented. 'I don't think this was a good idea. All my brothers and sisters are sure to remember me from the hatching and that I was not even dragon enough to search you out from the crowd instead I had to call you out away from your sister. I even ran away from our own mother who had cared for us all those long hot days on the beach, They might hate me for shunning her. But if we hadn't come Orinth would have been so disapointed in us"

Erastan reached out and took firm mental hold of his partner. Aspalath, you did what you had to. We have been over this before there was nothing wrong with how you impressed, and you were just out of the egg, and there was that candidate that scared you by trying to force himself on you. If any of them dare say anything like that about you I'll have a few reminders for them. Besides, you said you just wanted to see them, we don't have to talk to any of them. Just encase anyone was even considering it he shot a glare at the crowd with an extra glower at any who tried to meet his gaze.

Aspalath still seemed unsure and his eyes swirled to each new arrival, shifting from foot to foot.

When Aspalath had been a new hatchling he had been nervous and scared but it had been more animalistic, the fight or flight reaction to constant perceived threats. The more he grew the more his mind grew and he was able to frame his fears as what he saw as his own failings and how others would perceive him.

For Erastan it was a much greater challenge but he tried to meet it with all the love and support the blue showed him as well as keeping others at bay to shield him from any judgment that might send his beloved partner into a spiral.
Erastan was not keen on crowds either but he had never missed a gather or a celebration at his old hold for one simple reason. People got oh so careless when they were happy.

He could feel his fingers twitching as his eyes flicked across rings, broaches and bracelets that flashed in the filtered sunlight. Oh it would be so easy.
He didn't need to steal anymore, he had food, clothing and shelter. But the temptation was still strong. Like any good craftsman who had practiced their skills over the years he enjoyed testing them. Seeing how far he could push it. And stealing from dragonriders would be a challenge in itself.

He scratched at the old scar across the bridge of his nose then curled his fingers into tight fists to keep them in check. His hands felt restless. Swallowing his instincts he turned away from the main crowds back to Aspalath. 'Come on, lets find somewhere a bit quieter to sit and I'll go get us something to eat.'

The tall figure of Harbinger's Wingleader was diminished slightly by the way that he leaned heavily upon his cane. A new feature, the cane was exquisitely wrought, and had been a gift from his daughter. An unexpected boon. His eyes scanned the crowd, searching for familiar faces. When he caught sight of some of his wingriders, he gave a nod. Apart from the very apparent bandages, the man was in tip top form. He was dressed in new wherhide pants and a jacket to match - the previous pair of pants had had to be stripped off of him in pieces, as they had gotten seared into his flesh.

His grip tightened on the handle of the cane, his knuckles white. Although the way was fairly even ahead, there were unexpected obstacles - sometimes in the form of laughing, playing children, sometimes in the form of small tables presenting an array of sweets - and he found himself struggling. Dignity slightly tarnished, the Bronzerider carried on. After all, Z'tir had appearances to maintain. And a Wing watching and looking up to him. He would give nothing less than his best.

Please be careful, mine, Siloth abjured, 'watching' through their mental connection, concern very much coloring his tone. You are not at your best, my Z'tir. At this, the man frowned. I am always at my best. I must be. They need me. And you need them. But that is not the point.

Come Dr'culmine. The little blue was moving quickly, quicker then the normally did, though he still managed to carry himself with a graceful air, holding his head regally as he moved. It was easy enough for the tall rider to keep up with his little blue and Dr'cul was moving through the halls at ease, letting his grey eyes take in everything around him.

There was an excitement bubbling beneath Harneth that the blue was keeping at bay, though his bonded could feel more then anything else. The blue was looking forward to seeing his bronze brother Moseleth, he surely missed his brother deeply and was hoping that his rider had been taken care of him just as well as his Dr'cul took care of him.

"He will be here Harneth." The man's voice was soft as he spoke to the blue, having gotten use to the bond and finding he enjoyed having a companion of like mind, even though Harneth did push him to help others more, as well as force him to socialize more then he wanted to. I should see if we could start sending letters. Do you think Bruxa would take them to him? The little blue whispered this as Y'mar was speaking to all of them gathered, doing his best to not crane his next around to look at the weyrlings from Western to find his brother. A calm and comforting hand was placed on top of his head, gently rubbing his headknobs just the way he liked. She will. I just need an image of who she is to find. He had not taken a good look at Moseleth or his rider the last time they had been together, more focused on having been chosen.

Once they were dismissed into the rest of the party, Dr'cul stood there for a moment, his black hair pulled back in a loose pony-tail, dressed in new black wherhide pants, a lovely dark grey button down shirt and a new wherhide jacket that had been sent to him by his mother and grandfather when they had heard the news of his impression.

Harneth scanned the people around him, turning his eyes this way and that, trying to get an image of his brother. Oh...he hoped that Moseleth wasn't feeling uncomfortable, suddenly in a place he wasn't use to again. He needed to find him.

~Kiana_Nala~
Harneth misses Moseleth and wishes to find him.

It had been such a long time since she’d even seen her sweet children up at High Reaches, save for beautiful images sent to her from a certain wonderful bronze, that Susurinth had been nearly beside herself with excitement for each image that flashed through her mind. Cordrath had been keeping her abreast of the preparations most of the day, which made her antsy to get up in the air, to see him and to see her children! Pavari’s mirth at her situation didn’t give her any rise either, for the rider’s heart was always wide open to everyone and especially to her small gold who could see the deep love and respect there for her wanting to see her children. How often had they gone back to Cove just to see her own nieces after all? It was even more an honor to her to get the chance to carry another gold over to High Reaches for this feast and her rider’s smile was wide as they’d taken to the sky once all settled. Just carrying her little gold daughter lifted Susurinth’s heart all the way to the stars and back, though she would have with all her children, but Khamaith was large enough now that few could have and it nearly felt an honor to still be strong enough to be of use as her mother who had carried her when she was so small before. As such, the takeoff and subsequent gain of height had been slow and a bit more graceful than ever before, more from need than to be a show-off, for jostling too hard would mean scratches and while they wouldn’t bother her too much they could hurt now that the claws giving them were much sharper.

Hold on tight everyone. The older gold told her passengers even though they were few in number. With a pop the cold of Between sunk in, her eyes shifting to orange as they always did in the empty place. Pavari simply adjusted the older woman’s hands so she could hold on with one hand a bit tighter, she remembered what it felt like to go through the dark space with no connection to the minds taking one there, like tumbling through darkness with only a warm body as an anchor. She hoped the little gold between her mother’s wings was okay...

Thoughts like that were washed from her mind as the my suddenly appeared above the mountainous peaks of their destination, Susurinth giving a grilling bugle to signify their arrival. With a gentle motion the gold bowed mentally to Eveleth and the other golds of the Weyr, a deep bow full of respect for them allowing her the chance to visit and see her children’s growth. It would be disrespectful to do anything but show them the utmost respect after all. Her once more brightly blue eyes scanned the crowd that was forming below for a certain large form that cut a darkly shimmering presence apart from all the others, once she’d located him she dipped a bit, letting her wings slowly glide them down towards Cordrath. Gently, worried she might jostle any holding on, the gold landed with her hind legs first and absorbed all the shock through them so that she could level out fully with no issue. Though she’d have happily carried Khamaith the whole night long, she laid down before the bronze’s feet to give her precious passengers ease of dismount.

Pavari, naturally, was the first out of her straps and had set about freeing Ezyzu of hers once she’d done so, releasing the woman so she could go and tend to her dragon upon the larger gold’s back. Her jacket was then instantly stripped off her back and Susurinth’s straps relieved and all placed gently in an empty pack she normally used for paint. Tonight, though she’d have gladly done so, was not for painting. The goldrider wanted to dance and eat and ignore the inevitable lovey dovey feelings her gold oozed for her intended large bronze. Surely there were some good dancers up in this Weyr, men and women alike didn’t bother her, just the chance to twist in the gold and blue dress she’d rarely been given reason to wear since it clung to her frame so well. "Susurinth, enjoy seeing your kids sweet one and spending some time with the hunk over there." She gestured with a nod of her head towards Cordrath as she reached over and wrapped her arms around the gold's head and scratched under her jaws with a wink before she twisted away to give her a chance to see all those that she wanted to.

Chuckling to herself as she saw the small twirl that her rider gave, the gold rose and turned towards Cordrath and Khamaith, settling back to give them a chance to see one another as her eyes turned a deep purple. Lifting her head she cast those same purple eyes out across the crowd and and took in the forms of each of her beautiful children, feeling a swell in her hearts as she recognized each one of them and their beautiful colors. With a content sigh she sent a deep wave of love out to them all and then settled down to simply watch them all as they would reach out if they wanted, Susurinth was just thrilled to see them all.

Big rush of respect and a bow for Eveleth for letting her come

"You need to be on your best behavior, Sahrawith." R'ose looked down at his dragonet, or rather...over at her, as her growth had her ballooning up overnight, it seemed. Where she had been tiny enough to be carried (and he had carried her quite a bit), now she was too heavy and generally a massive amount of trouble. "I'm letting you wear those gifts from Radish as a special treat, but if you misbehave I'm taking them back. Do you understand?"

Sahrawith, to her credit, pretended like she was even listening as she watched her siblings and her mother arrive. The sheer delight she held in her hearts was overwhelming and threatened to give R'ose chest pain. It was the first time the whole clutch was together after all and so he couldn't really deny her that happiness, but he also knew his dragon. She was so much like him it was painfully obvious why he'd Impressed her, and thus he needed to keep a tight leash on her antics. "Okay, you've waited long enough. Go ahead and say hello."

That was all she needed to hear, and the mint dragon was on the run for her siblings like her tail was on fire. Greeting the entire area with a happy bugle, she charged into the ever-nervous but always lovely Aspalath in as much affection as she could muster. He had been one of those to go to the Western Place, and she had not seen him since his hatching on the sands.

Aspalath, my little brother! I've missed you, how is Western Place? Is yours here? Are you doing okay? She peppered the poor blue with incessant, but innocent, questions, all the while making sure to rub against him to show just how happy she really was to see him.
You're getting so big, you look so wonderful!

Ezyzu of Gold Khamaith, Western Weyrling

The day had finally come! Once the tea party had been announced, it had been a slow crawl it seemed to finally get to the amazing day. Both rider and dragon had a bit of pep in their step leading up to it, near feeding off each other’s excitement to see the rest of Khamaith’s clutch siblings. But once they had learned that it would be none other than the little gold’s own mother that would be providing the ride, Khamaith had near been bouncing on her toes. Ezyzu had wanted to tease about Baihath’s influence on her, but she couldnt. Not when her dragon was utterly brimming with excitement and love, eyes a bright mix of blue, green, and purple, that she couldn't even friendly tease her. It had been a minor worry, ever since the hatching, that it would have to wait until the hatchings were old enough for flight and trips between (and that thought was… doubting, but they would cross that bridge when it arrived.) But now they were getting ready to go, with Khamaith peering around from her careful perch between Susurinth’s wings, smelling so brightly of scented oil. Ezyzu was in her best, yet it could barely help her rather board-like figure. Yet it was still good, and she wore it and her weyrling knot proudly.

Are you ready? It's soft as the ready mark came. Khamaith gave no verbal response, but the flood of warmth and reassurance helped settled Ezyzu’s own building worry about their first trip into the void together. She had little experience herself, having never really needed to until they’d gone to the beach for the hatching. Pavari’s hand on hers was a grounding reassurance that eased the jump in her heart as they winked out of the sky. It never lasted long, but Ezyzu was happy to take a breath once they’d arrived over High Reaches.

I see some of my siblings. Khamaith was careful as she looked around while her mother landed, spotting the chromatic images of some of her siblings. Her voice open with the excitement and love she felt for each and every one of them. Susurinth landed with such grace that had Khamaith trill softly, eyes whirling brightly at the large form of her papa and peeping before she could begin to disembark.

“Thank you, and thank you again for helping us.” Ezyzu smiled so brightly as she kept her hands free while Pavari freed her from the straps. Soon enough, she would be learning how to do that. The thought was utterly exciting, yet the party at hand was also! “As well as thank you, Susurinth!” Yet she was gone past the saddle, to try and help Khamaith down best she could. How was the ride, my precious one?

Mama flies so well. I hope I’ll be able to fly like that someday. But I am fine! That was fun. With the same gentleness that she had used when Strigonth had offered to carry her to the beach (at which she sent the warmest of thoughts, wishing her friend would have been able to join her and Baihath at this party), she dismounts with the utmost care to keep her claws from scratching. Ezyzu stood more to the side, hands raised in a semi motion to help one that didn’t really need it. Yet she is at her side the moment Khamaith is fully dismounted, if just to press a kiss to her beloved’s nose with the softest words of encouragement. Khamaith tucked her head, hugging Ezyzu to her before facing both of her parents. She moved to nestle against Susurinth’s side, more like a feline than a growing dragon, before crooning up at Cordrath. Hello Papa, I’ve missed you. It was so simple yet deep, for two months between seeing her father last had both flown by and felt so long. He had been busy fighting thread, keeping them safe--most importantly keeping her siblings at High Reaches safe! But she presses against him, warmth and calm and excitement near radiating off of her. It was then that her green sister had caught her eye, and Khamaith trilled sweetly to Saith. Saith, it’s so good to see you.

Sam’kel of Blue Kinitarth, High Reaches Wingrider

The party was finally here, and Sam’kel, for his part, had wavered on attending or not. The past while had been stressful, ever since threadfall, and he’d edged on simply not attending. But.. things were looking a bit up. His heart had fluttered, looking at his finer clothes and had made the decision to finally commit. It was all the extra steps in which he’d taken that had cost him the extra time. Hair styled back instead of its usual wild herdbeast-licked look. Freshly shaved, wherhide suit properly cared for. Sam’kel was utterly preening, determined to look good for a certain bluerider who always looked good. Yet the crowd was starting to form early, Western riders arriving rather punctually with weyrlings in tow. He had not had any interaction with the newest pairs yet, with threadfall having been at their doorstep it had taken all his time. Plus a matter of.. other importance. His gaze casts around the room, ducking between children and weyrlings--trying to find anyone that looked familiar. Some of his other wingmembers, in which he’d waved.
Well, no K’lar yet. The fluttering eased slightly, and while he eyed a table of drinks, he settled on tea to drink. Something to soothe his throat and his nerves, even if they jumped for many reasons.

You worry too much. Kinitarth lounged from his ledge, watching the activities below. Sand table forgotten in the excitement of the party. He was the other balm to Sam’kel’s nerves, sending a wave of reassurance. Relax, enjoy the party. Meet some of the new weyrlings if you can, some of them may be our wingmembers someday. Yet he stretches and casts a look around, and perks as he spies a familiar bronze. Wonderful day for a party is it not, Siloth? How are you faring? There’s warmth in his tone, and more than a touch of concern.

A familiar man catches his eye, though stature a bit diminished by the cane and limp, his wingleader is a hard man to mistake. The first time since that awful threadfall he had seen the man up and about, first time since Z’tir had saved his hide. He was remiss that he had never found the time to at the very least visit. The pit of nerves and darker thoughts threatened to well again, but kind words had helped to batter them down and the excitement from the light atmosphere was hard to kill. Even with such a limp, he couldn't keep blaming himself (even if he sure felt some part responsible.) But he was here, and the urge to be useful goaded him on. The bluerider gently weaves himself through the crowd on impulse, until he’s walking instep with Z’tir. “It's fantastic to see you up and about.” Perhaps not the most eloquent of phrasings, but its earnest. Sam’kel angles himself to his wingleader’s injured side, using his body as more of a means to bodyblock all the excited activity. It wouldn’t do to have something happen, after all.

Dressed in his gather best, Dr'stan was a sight that seemed to get attention from many of the women he walked by, though the bronzerider didn't give them any attention aside from a nod of the head as he moved on his way. You should flirt with them Mine, they do seem to fawn over you. Ddraigth's words were teasing towards his bonded, though there was a want to have greens and golds fawn over him while he moved around, or even those lovely blues and browns. They are nice but I'd rather not. Ddraigth would have teased him more by saying that there were many men who fawned over him just as well, but Dr'stan had caught sight of his Wingleader and moved over towards him.

Z'tir hadn't been seen by most of the Weyr or the Wing after he and Siloth had fallen during Threadfall. Leading the wing had been left to Dr'stan and the other Wingsecond, making the noble Dr'stan force his worry back for his wingleader and focus on the wing instead.

It wasn't the first time Dr'stan had seen him, Z'tir had requested he still bring by the reports so they could continue working. It was one of the reasons he looked up to the older bronzerider and was very proud to have been chosen by him. He had a work ethic and drive that never tired.

"How are you feeling Wingleader Z'tir?" Dr'stan saluted as he neared the man, noticing his slow going towards a table, though he did seem to be walking better, especially with the cane's help. "The Wing will be glad to see you up and about."

Moving through the crowds and into the dinning hall, C'ryn was trying his best to look like the bronzerider he was. He had gone out and bought new gather clothing from his own money, and his hair was tied back loosely to keep it out of the way. His hazel eyes moved over the people gathered, focusing on the new Weyrlings, though they had already seen the ones who were at High Reaches, the visiting ones from Western were new.

It seems that many of the bronzes and the single gold went to Western Weyr. Aresoth's comment was from looking through C'ryn's eyes as the bronze was now too large to enter the dinning hall, instead he was outside of it, seated by the lake and enjoying watching everything else that was going on. He was hoping on picking up on a bit of gossip as well, listening to some of the drudges and workers speak as they moved by.

Their's were at Western, I'd say they chose well no matter where they ended up. There was a mental shrug from Aresoth's end and the young man couldn't help but finding it a little amusing. He put the thought from his mind as he moved around, planning on mingling with others. There was one thought deep in his mind, knowing she would probably be here, C'ryn was planning on asking Alumet to dance, hoping she would say yes. He wanted to show her that the lessons she had given him earlier had worked.

If you are going to dance, can I play with the babies? Settled into the Weyrbowl, Aurinkoth was enthused by all of the visitors he had never seen before, trying to say hello to everybody. Despite this, his attention still radiated around his dear Ichta who had made strong efforts to look presentable to the company from Western Weyr. She'd also never seen anybody from their sister-Weyr before, and first impressions were very important. But Aurinkoth was well aware that she was also trying to make an impression for somebody else.

I'm not here to dance, Aurinkoth. I'm here to be a representative of our Weyr. she insisted. Laughter bubbled through her mind through her tether, and she could feel his doubt at her words. It was a little nerve inducing, but a strong surge of love soon smoothed those over.

But I can still play with the babies? he asked. Of course you can. But only if they want to. she reminded gently. Some of these babies may not have wanted to play with a fully grown blue - no matter how sweet and dear and eager and happy he was. Truly, the most wonderful dragon on all of pern and nobody would convince her otherwise. He was at least gentlefooted as he radiated happiness all around him.

But oh, oh!

Dearest Cynosuth, are you coming to see the babes from Western or will you be going elsewhere? Do you want my company? Either way, he'd offer her up and enormous surge of the same affection he'd been flooding her with since the very beginning. Was she tired of it yet?

There were many who thought that it was very...unusual that after she'd tried to get High Reaches' Weyrwoman to take her home with her, Martirae was being allowed to visit the Weyr for this feast they were holding. Maritrae, however, saw it for what it was - a short leash. She wouldn't enjoy it, but she'd at least enjoy the reach out of her usual space.

Besides, it wasn't like she didn't know her place well enough to not go home at the end of the day.

Instead, she'd play the oddity she was to some - Marty didn't miss the occasional glance here or there and then a double take at the splotches of white that danced across her face and into her hairline. Ah, if she'd not been born into a Weyr, would she have been treated as some sort of side show? She didn't particularly care which way about it, but it made for a conversation starter here and there. In fact, she'd strung up some conversation with an older brownrider of High Reaches and seemed to at least be playing along.

Or he simply hadn't said anything that earned any of her usually scathing choice in words. It was more likely she'd decided to hold her tongue for the sake of not stirring the pot that day. Not when she was the guest, rather than a host this time. No, she wasn't ready to have someone drag her home when she was just getting started on enjoying her little...investigation.
