A clear day with a gentle breeze and warm sunlight. You couldn't ask for better weather. A small gust rustled the white fabric of a sundress. A woman laid in the soft grass, enjoying the warmth of sunlight on her skin. Her worn boots were kicked off half hazardly next to her, and a bag that looked very used sat next to her. She'd been walking the dirt road awhile and opted to take a moment and rest. Her silver eyes stared up at the endless blue, one hand moving to brush the grass. "Maybe I can stop here instead...its too nice a day to keep walking."

"It is indeed a wonderful day." The man said, though one might easily mistake him for a boy. He wore a simple white, button-down shirt with a pair of black slacks. He looked to be incredibly meek and a pale, slender yet something about him would seem almost divine. His crimson eyes scanned the sky, watching as a flock of birds flew by while his periwinkle hair, but short but wild, fluttered in the breeze. With his hands in his pockets, he'd look to the girl and offer a warm smile. "Forgive my intrusion, I'm not akin to meeting people. This is my first time venturing outside my home, really. My name is Migoto." He spoke, his hand leaving his pocket and extending out towards the woman.

The woman blinked, tilting her head back slightly and seeing an upside down version of the young man. She moved, rolling over and getting to her feet and dusting herself off. Her hair was a dark black and tousled a bit, falling to just past her shoulders. Her skin was lightly tanned and toned, a side effect of traveling by foot most of the time. Her silver eyes turned up slightly in an almond shape, framed by long lashes. She offered a smile to the young man and shook his hand. "Ah, my name is Risa. A pleasure to meet you Migoto."

She released his hand moved to pick her bag up, slipping her boots back on. "Your out quite a ways for just leaving your house for the first time." She raised a brow. "What kept you indoors for so long?" She asked out of curiosity

Migoto looked extremely confused for a moment, as though Risa had said something absolutely bewildering. He placed his hands in his pockets and smiled, eyes closing before shifting to look up to the sky. "I suppose to someone of another world, it would seem treacherous indeed to step outside their...house." He'd then look back to her and chuckle.

"I suppose this is your house, then? It's very expansive and colorful compared to mine." He asked, completely serious but never losing his smile. "Seems many share in its occupancy from what I can read, though your signatures are incredibly meek."

Risa watched him carefully, confused by his statement on her house being expansive. "Sorry? Maybe I misunderstood. You said you hadn't left your home in awhile... I assumed you meant your hous." She explained, feeling awkward a bit. She rubbed her arm out of nervous habit and picked her bag up, pulling a pocket watch out of it and checking the time." Sorry, I have a train to catch...new adventures and all that sort." She pointed down the hill toward the station.

She smiled once more to him offering a small bow. "It was nice meeting you Migoto. I hope your journey is an interesting one." She turned, starting down the hill at a slow trot.

"Risa, before you depart, might I propose something to you? I promise you, you will make your train whether you hear my words or not, but you would do be a kind favor in listening." Migoto asked. e had a feeling he might confuse her, but he wasn't yet ready to divulge what it was he meant by "Home." He'd take in a deep breath and watch a few leaves dance in the breeze.

"I will be honest with you, Risa: I do not yet know why I am here, nor where here necessarily is. Would you perhaps be willing to let me tag along on your adventures? You may dismiss me from your company at any point in time, but I believe I am in need of a guide." He asked, his composure never changing or altering. His aura would seem kind and innocent, but no doubt to someone with keen senses, something would seem very off about him.

She turned to face him as he asked a favor. She brushed her hand through her hair, keeping it out of her face as he gave his request. She looked hesitant a moment, her hand tightening on the handle of her bag.

"I dont know how good of a guide I'll be. I try not visit the same place twice, and I dont tend to stop in one place too long. You can travel with me if youd like, but I have a few conditions. The first is that you can not ask me about myself. The second, is that my bag is off limits. Under no means are you to look inside it." She explained. "The final condition is a bit different. There may be times that I ask you to stay put and not follow me. If this happens, please know that I will come back, but you can not follow me. Do you still want to travel with me?" She asked, watching him mull it over.

"Conditions?" Migoto spoke, a look of general concern on his face. Not out of fear necessarily, but rather for her and the worries she had. Something of an empathic feeling. As he heard her out, his smile would return, as would his hand. He'd raise it one more time, extended out towards Risa.

"I will not inquire as to your history, nor will I handle that item you carry. And I will stay put, when requested, and I will not inquire as to where you are...but please know this, Risa: if you need help, I am only a prayer away." His eyes closed and his head tilted, his periwinkle hair blowing in the breeze once again.

She was honestly a bit surprised as he extended his hand again, agreeing to her terms. With a confident smile she reached out and shook his hand, and he may of noticed a faint pattern on the skin of her wrist. Like overlapping petals...or scales, only visible briefly in the reflection of the light. A dull shimmer, a hair lighter then her complexion. "A pleasure to have your company Migoto. Now, we really should go catch our train." She pointed out. She released his hand turned, waiting a moment for him to follow her down the hill and toward a small train station.

Risa approached a map on the wall, examining the routes a moment. "So are you from around here?" She asked.

He followed Risa closely, but often stopped to examine things, especially of the natural variety. But, he wouldn't hold them up, instead making sure to catch back up to her in what would seem like a brief second. Once she stopped to check the map, his curiosity would peak at the building around them, as well as the other people. He'd grin and wave to passing children and issue polite "Hello!"'s and nods to passing adults.

As she asked her question, she might notice his attention stuck on another poster, one of a man in a skull mask with a huge bounty on him. "Dethblade....curious man..." He'd then shift his attention to Risa and smile. "I'm from quite a ways away, actually. Given our current position, I believe my home is in....that general direction." He pointed North, but it wasn't anywhere on the world he was pointing, something she might queue into with his next comment. "It's a small asteroid community."

She traced her finger over one route in particular, tapping a spot to signify shed made up her mind. She glanced up at the Dethblade poster and frowned a bit. "Hopefully we dont cross paths." She pointed out. Hearing his next comment she raised a brow. "Asteroid?" She blinked a moment then slowly looked upward, making the connection and looking back at him, opening her mouth to ask a question, but being stopped when a bell rang. "Oh no, tickets!" She turned, hurrying to the counter and purchasing two tickets for the location she tapped on. "Two for the Port of Nocturnal please." She slid a small handful of coin across the counter.

The man behind a counter nodded, counting her money before printing out two tickets, stamping them, and handing them over.

Risa took the tickets with a smile and a polite 'thank you' and walked briskly back over to Migoto, handing him his ticket. "Is Asteroid a term for something? She asked, trying to figure out if that was what he meant

He watched as she ran off in a hurry to grab the tickets, slightly amused by how much of a rush she was in. "I'm not sure where we're going, but you certainly seem to be in a rush to get there." He took the ticket into hand and examined it for a moment, acting as though he'd been given some sort of treasure. "Such a small thing ensures us passage...a piece of paper, so much meaning..."

Once she asked about the asteroid, he'd let out a small chuckle while pocketing the ticket. "I believe the people of your world would consider me something of a science experiment. The asteroid - the large rock floating about in space - was my home. My place of birth." He'd let out a hearty laugh, eyes closed and grin. "Quite frankly, I believe that place was Hell given structure!"

Risa shook her head. "You have to buy tickets before the counter closes, otherwise you dont get to go anywhere." She pointed to the now closed ticket counter. "They dont let you on the train if you dont have a ticket." She held hers up and a moment later a train pulled into the station, silently gliding in behind her. Rather then a hiss of steam there was a whirring of mechanisms and sound as the magnets that propelled the train secured it to the track instead, and the doors opened, allowing a few people off. Risa motioned for him to follow her as she moved toward the train doors. Stepping on the train she glanced around. The car was mostly empty, save for a couple people. The interior was done in navies and maroons, the walls white with tiny curtains to cover the windows of one wanted. Risa walked down the aisle finding a spot of four seats, two seats that faced another two seats, and moved to claim them, "We can sit here, easier to discuss this Asteroid your talking about." She explained, taking one of the window seats, her bag taking the spot next to her.

"How did you get from an asteroid to here? I didnt hear about anything falling from the sky." She explained, crossing her legs at the ankles. "And do you mind if I ask what you meant by experiment?" She asked.

Migoto followed along quietly, his smile never fading and for some odd reason his feather-like hair never ceasing to dance in an unseen breeze. Once they were happily seated in the train, Migoto now seated across from Risa with his hands folded upon his lap, he'd look out the window and laugh. "It must seem strange; here you are on your way to a destination predetermined before our meeting, and from nowhere comes a man from space. Risa, you have a very kind soul and a heart with a tremendous capacity for good. I hope nothing ever discourages your incredibly vibrant nature...this is all speculation of course, but in our few moments together, these are the things I have seen demonstrated."

"That being said, I feel it would be in poor taste to be anything less than honest with you. I, Miss Risa, am now an open book to you, but be forewarned: ignorance is bliss while naivety is impetuous. Please, sit back and relax. I wish to answer your questions, and regale you with a tale."

"My name is Migoto Kusabana. Written in a language of one particular world, in one particular civilization, it translates in writing to 'Beautiful Flower'. I was born on Genesis, a research and development colony. Its purpose is to discover the answers of all things rooted in science and medicine...or at least that's the front they use. In truth...they seek the answer behind genetics and power. Space and time. Light and Dark, Good and Evil, Right and Wrong." He looked to Risa with a chuckle. "Is my pace so far acceptable?"

Risa gave a short sharp laugh as he complimented her capacity for good. "You may be one of the very few who feels that way. It's quite the assumption to make of someone you've only known for an hour or so." She teased, smiling a bit and glancing out the window as the trains system started to lift the train to hover on the magnetic track. There was a slow and smooth lurch as the train started moving forward.

As he started giving his story, she listened attentively. Nodding once in awhile to signal that she was following what he explained. "I understand so far, go ahead an continue."
