Stillwaterite's lip was still sore from when that b*****d had split it. The whole encounter had shaken her. Things had been going rather well during her time in the Negaverse so far---well. Mostly. Her friend Pyrophanite wasn't doing so good...lately...but this meeting of Wolfeite...

It was bad.

She didn't have her quota to fill currently, so she was taking it somewhat easy. Her lieutenant didn't need anything, and the others weren't up to anything, so easy it was. She exited a little cafe with a milkshake in one hand and a bag filled with some stuffed meat buns in the other. She thought she was rather dressed down this evening to 'try' to blend in more. As in she ditched her hat, her long red coat, and wore her undershirt buttoned up to hide the hole in her chest and to cover her corset.

It kind of worked. People still stared because of the long hair and bat wings---but it wasn't bad.

Now to go find somewhere to sit and---

Some movement caught her eye, and Still turned just in time to see the end of a fluffy tail duck under a nearby bush. Oh! Was there a cat? She felt really fond of cats and had heard that the Negaverse had some, but she hadn't met any yet! Oh well. Magical or not, possibly petting a cat would be great. The corrupt approached the bush, and crouched, carefully shifting the bag of buns to her other hand.

She softly clucked her tongue, and rubbed her fingers together under the bush.

"Here kitty, kitty~" She called.

Still gasped.

It---he? (it sounded like a he?)---spoke!

The corrupt lost a bit of her cool composure she had developed since coming into the Negaverse in her excitement. She shifted to her knees and ended up pressing one side of her face against the ground. It helped so that she could look under the bush and see the critter. He was so cute.

Obviously he was a guardian, and from his desperate and heartbreaking pleas, one for Order. She probably should be grabbing him by the scruff and teleporting him to Negaspace for corruption but...well. Something about forcing someone just didn't sit right with her. People...entities...they stopped being themselves if they lost a part of them self.

"Oh, I don't want to take you anywhere you don't want to go." She tried to reassure him. "And I don't want to hurt you. I've just never seen a Guardian before except when my pen was upgraded and you know---that was very professional." She paused for a moment.

"I have some meat buns! Would you like one?"

Because animals couldn't resist bribery, right?

"I don't want you to leave anyone, and I'm not trying to take you away from your family." The corrupt paused as he uttered some words in a language she didn't understand, and was further stalled when she felt that she was being stared at. She pulled her cheek off the ground to glance, and decided that she couldn't stay here for long. Her behind was only up in the air, and even with her shirt covering most of her torso, it did nothing to hide her stocking covered rump.

Well. She had an idea.

She pressed her cheek back against the ground, and made sure she had her hand on both her bag and the milkshake. Still then reached out with her other hand, stretching under the bush until her fingers gently rested on Itsuki's soft forehead.

She then teleported them away. Not too far, actually, but into a small park she liked. It had an equally small field area circled by some trees, which made it somewhat private. She corrupt pushed herself back up to rest on her knees, and smiled down at the cat who was still in his cowering position, but no longer under a bush. "There!" She announced to him. "See, I could have teleported us to Negaspace, but I didn't." She grabbed the bag that had some meat buns in it, and opened it. The smell was delicious as it wafted, and she pulled one out.

The corrupt placed it before Itsuki, and then waited.

The corrupt smiled as the action and the food seemed to heavily sway the Mauvian's mind.

Oh! Itsuki! Alright, so what he said earlier under the bush had been an introduction? "It's a pleasure to meet you, Itsuki." She replied. "I'm Stillwaterite, but since that's a mouthful, you can call me Still." He was so cute and fluffy...she wanted to just pick him up and pet him but that was probably rude while he was eating, so she waited. In the mean time she reached for the bag and pulled out a meat bun for herself.

"What brings you out tonight, Itsuki?" She asked, curious. "What does a Guardian do when they're not helping senshi?"

"A week shy of six months, is how long I've been in the Negaverse." She gave the Mauvian a reassuring smile. "Don't be sad, Itsuki. Things are the way they need to be." Still-chan, huh? That was really cute...but it didn't seem like a nickname exactly! "I'd like to pet you later, too, if that's alright." Her smile turned into a small grin as she took another bite of her meat bun.

"Because why not?" The corrupt answered. "I stand out a bit, yes, but nothing more than stares...it makes getting energy easier if you can walk around like a civilian while powered. Plus I like being able to teleport whenever I want. As for what I'm doing, just grabbing a bite to eat and a milkshake~" Speaking of, she took a sip of her neglected milkshake.

"Just enjoying the evening, as it stands. Happy to make new acquaintances, like yourself."

"I think we can." Still replied in earnest, smiling at him. "I'm sorry that keeps happening to you. I hear Guardians are rare...so to that extent, I'm not surprised people try to kidnap you to bring you to the Negaverse." Her smile widened at the promise he requested. "How about I promise not to poof you as long as your life doesn't depend on it, hm?"

As Itsuki moved closer to her, and his expression turned utterly adorable and pleading, she couldn't help but feel further endeared by him. He was a sweet thing. Naive, yes, but very adorable and genuine.

(Something about that bothered her.)

The corrupt finished her meat bun, and then reached out to pet him. She lightly scratched behind his ears as she replied. "Oh, don't you worry about me, Itsuki. I want to be here, and I don't want to leave. I have good friends. People who care about me, and I don't want to leave them." Her hand moved and she slid one finger under his chin.

"You can understand that, right?"

Ah. So that's what it meant! The corrupt smiled down at him, and oh his little paw on her knee. It was just too cute. If he ever decided to go willingly into Chaos, would he still be just as cute? She couldn't help but ponder it. "Tomodachi." She returned, and just went ahead and reached for him. The woman picked him up, and then placed him on her stocking clad lap. Her arms immediately settled down to make a nice rest for him so that he wouldn't slide off, and a hand curled to continue petting him.

"I have to pull starseeds, Itsuki." She replied patiently, somewhat amused she was having this conversation again. Maybe she'd have it a lot. "It's my job, and if I don't do my job, I get in trouble, but don't worry." Still said reassuringly. "I only pull starseeds from bad people. People who go out and harm others first."

And she'd been able to keep managing that so far...so she would continue to do so.

After some time, Still cradled the cat securely into one arm, grabbing her milkshake and bag with the other. She then stood, and decided she'd walk the cute little thing home. Well, as close to home as was properly safe. She respected that some distance needed to be maintained for privacy sake.

After all, it would be a shame if someone catnapped her new cute little friend.
