The air was filled with the smell of various fried foods and sweets. The amount of people in the crowd might have been a little overwhelming on any other occasion, but Nevaeh was too excited by the idea of all of the new foods to try and all of the rides with their pretty lights. The carousel was by far the ride she was most excited to get on. It wasn’t fast and scary, and all the animals on it to ride were always so pretty! She turned to flash an excited smile over to her twin. “What rides do you want to do? I wanna go on the carousel sometime today, but if there is something you really wanna do, we can do that first. There’s also games and food and stuff, I wanna try those. Do you think they have corn dogs? Ooh, or funnel cakes! With strawberries and whipped cream!” The energy almost physically radiated from her as she bounced on the balls of her feet. It was great that they got to spend this day are the carnival, and she planned on enjoying every second of it with her sister.

Nevaeh’s smile only grew large as they made their way towards the carousel. Heaven seemed to also be happy with the prospect, and she was glad! She knew they were both a little shy and both found groups to be overwhelming, but it was a lot easier when they were together. She flashed another smile towards her sister as they got into the line. The line wasn’t terribly long, something Nevaeh was thankful for. It seemed the more ‘thrilling’ rides had a considerably longer wait- but she wasn’t planning on going on those anyways. “I think they just got people on the ride of their turn, so we should be one of the first on the next time. I hope we can get to those pretty ones before everyone else.”

"Oh, yeah!" Nevaeh nodded with an excited smile as her sister pointed out the couple eating a corn dog. "We should try and find where they got those later. Or we could see if there is something else we want to try." She bumped her shoulder lightly and playfully against her twins.

The wait wasn't the worst, but waiting was never the most fun thing in the world. Needless to say, she was more than ready when the line opened up, letting people on to the ride. She and Heaven raced towards the two carousel horses that had caught their eyes earlier. Her braid bounced against her back, grinning wildly as they made it to them before anyone else. "Yeeees!" She laughed as she scrambled to mount the back of her's triumphantly.
