The Third Training Ground (第三演習場, Daisan Enshūjō) is a training ground where Konoha shinobi hone their skills.

Stretched out across the grass in the middle of the training field, Kotaru lay Still. Bypasses would assume that the young Shinobi had worked himself to the brink of exhaustion. pushing his limits, and possibly even overexerting himself to where he might need medical attention. But for anyone who knew the young Nara personally, the likelihood of that being a fact was rather slim. In fact, it was more likely that he had been assigned to train and was slacking off rather than putting in any work at all. In fact, if you listened closely, you could hear the sounds snoring as he slept ever so peacefully in the green pasture.
The shadow of three large birds now circled and flew past him high within the sky. Kotaru being fully aware even in his sleep began to pout before clutching his hands grasping a handful of grass. "I was sleeping so good too" He thought to himself before leaning forward, pushing himself up with his right hand and wiping the Cole from his eyes with his left. Shortly after he rose to his feet and walked over to the shade projected by the treeline. There he would take a seat once more only thins time sitting with his legs crossed and holding up the rat hand seal.
Only brief moments after he held this pose with his eyes close, His ash gray aura could be seen forming around him. His chakra would begin to spiral and swarm as he focused his mind on creating the image of the training field. everything from the green pasture, to the blue sky, to the three wooden dummies posted up in front of the lake, was all visualized within his mind. Suddenly, His chakra stopped surging around him and his body went completely still. his breathing was controlled as he now had entered a state of visual training.
In his mind, he stood there in the middle of the field again wearing his regular attire. All-black uniform with the sleeveless T-shirt over his fishnet undershirt. he removed his Tan Nara clan Jacket for mobility but kept his blue cloud apron tucked within his belt to the back solely for fashion. He measured and weighed in at 5'8, 135lbs even and looked slightly bigger, not like this truly mattered but the smallest details in visual training would make the biggest difference when it came to execution in reality.

_A plethora of sakura blossoms whimsically trickled into the training grounds. Falling and swaying in their own special dance. In one swift movement, Hisagi was standing in the training grounds, Ryuzu with him as they just came from the entrance gates. Hisagi smiled as the gentle breeze of the air swirled around him. Completing his flicker step jutsu. "Mmm~ it feels great to be out of the hospital for a bit" Hisagi quickly mused himself. Giving himself a quick stretch. Then it hit him. How could he forget. He would need help showing Ryuzu the new jutsu. Lifting his thumb to his lips. He bit down on it. As the blood welled up he smeared it in the palm of his hand. Performing a hand sign. "Summoning" Hisagi said kneeling down and placing the palm of his blood smear on the ground. The kanji symbols sketched themselves out. An erupting of smoke enveloped the saurtobi. There was a moment of silence. The wind pushed the smoke away and Hisagi was gone. "Oooh, my little Saru-chan~ My little Saru~ Are you finally done working for the day?" A familiar voice broke out from behind Ryuzu. In a tree not too far behind the Jonin Commander was the monkey summon Baku. And as always, he was craddling and nuzzling Hisagi. With the most annoyed look on his face, Hisagi grabbed the monkeys face and pushed him away. Landing on his feet he dusted his clothes. "Knock it off, Ryuzu is back and I need your help teaching him something" Hisagi said walking back to Ryuzu.
_ Baku gave a sad whine as he was toppled over on the ground. Only to perk up hearing Ryuzu's name. The monkey summon hopped up onto his feet. He stood a 6'8. "Zu-Zu chan~ Welcome back~" Baku happily exclaimed in his normal hyper and almost immature personality. The monkey leaped over to the two. Landing in front of Ryuzu and grabbing his forearm and holding it firm. It was a traditional warriors greeting. "So, you're having my little saru teach you something? Fire? Earth? Water? Or are you finally picking back up your medical training?" Baku asked twirling around Ryuzu. Stopping back at Hisagi standing behind him. The monkey leaned over then. His elbow resting on top of Hisagi's head. His chin resting in the palm of his hand. Hisagi felt his eye twitch in this moment. Like the old days, Baku was madly in love with Hisagi and like the old days Hisagi was annoyed with it. But the companionship between the two was unshakable. "Just once, just once I would love for you to not be as hyper as a toddler would be, Baku" Hisagi said crossing his arms and rolling his eyes. Baku could grin in his usual devils grin. Baku's eyes trailed around the training grounds. Spotting one of Hisagi's genin. "Oi Oi, Kotaru~ Little Saru is here! Come meet our old friend! It's training time~" The monkey summon then yelled out towards Kotaru. Was the yelling needed? More than likely not. But it didn't stop him.
It has been a good while since Ryuzu was last here. The peaceful atmosphere this placed carried was always something to the jōnin. He caught sight of Hisagi performing the hand seals for the summoning jutsu, not really having an idea of what to expect. The smoke evaporated but with nothing to appear but hearing a familiar voice from behind him. It was really Baku who seemed quite delighted to see Hisagi. Upon discovering Ryuzu's return, Baku came to his side and twirled around him. Ryuzu chuckled at Baku's actions. "Hey there Baku, long time no see. Honestly I'm not sure as to what exactly is involved in our training." His arms folded while he watched Baku move over to a child who was also there. Apparently they must've known each other.

Still sitting underneath the shade of the tree deep within his own mind, Kotaru continued to generate a scenario in which he could go over until the sound of the large apes booming voice echoed through the halls of his mind, snatching him back to reality. Trying not to pay him any mind, Kotaru masked a frown before opening his right eye to take a peep. Seeing Hisagi-Sensai standing off int eh distance only confirmed his suspicions that Baku had decided to come out and play. "How troublesome" The young nara grunted under his teeth before rising to his feet to meet the duo.
As he made his way over he took note of the Shinobi from the rain village. Granted everyone was at peace as far as politics went. Kotaru always kept an eye on new faces until he had time to fully analyze them and pass his own judgment. friend of his sensai or not this was his way of handling things. "Oi Hisagi-Sensai...Baku-Senpai...how nice it is to see you."

_As always Baku was one for overly animated theatrics. One could never tell he was a powerful ninken summoning that not even Hisagi himself could defeat. Hisagi looked over as Kotaru walked over and joined the group. Smiling sweetly to kotaru, Hisagi nodded to him. "Kotaru, meet an old friend of mine. Ryuzu, the jonin commander of Amegakure. Ryuzu, meet one of the genin on my squad. Kotaru Nara" Hisagi said crossing his arms a bit. A gentle smile on his face. "A brilliant mind he is, even among the Nara standards. If only Koko-chan here would heed my words a little bit more~" Hisagi teased the Nara genin a bit. Baku gave a small chuckle as he used his index finger and playfully poke Kotaru's cheek. "We also have an Uzumaki among our little troope~ Who will for sure show up sooner or later. If they're not already hiding in the shadows. The two are extremely brilliant" Baku chimed in with a chuckle of his. The ninken summon pulled away. Leaping into the air, flipping and landing back next to Hisagi. His tail happily swaying as the ninken summon loomed over Hisagi.
_"Kotaru, you will observe Ryuzu and I's lesson. Pick up what you can. I'm sure you already have at least 20 different formulas pushing through your mind" Hisagi smiled to Kotaru as he looked back to Ryuzu. Baku looked to Kotaru and waved his hand a bit. Signaling the Nara to back up a bit. For this training could get dangerous. "Ryuzu, step back. Baku and I will first demonstrate the jutsu to you. It's a medical jutsu thought to be lost as only two known shinobi in history have ever mastered it. That is until I found it and till you learn. Which will take no time at all" Hisagi explained as he and Baku began to step back from the two. Baku gave Hisagi's head an adorable nuzzle before backhand springing away. "A medical jutsu that focuses healing chakra to the point of contact in which you take damage. Simply overloading that area with healing chakra as you are hit, it already heals your wounds. Especially if the chakra you focus matches or bests the jutsu used on you~ Truly brilliant" Baku grinned as he stretched his arms.
An eyebrow raised out of pure intrigue from Hisagi and Baku's claims in regards to the technique. A medical ninjutsu meant to heal oneself? Ryuzu was not aware that such a technique had even existed until then.
In the beginning, Ryuzu didn't really believe in such a concept but knowing Hisagi and knowing the kind of life they take part in...such a feat and prowess could lead to numerous kind of opportunities. If he can learn how to master such a technique as this, Ryuzu can truly think of many kind of useful scenarios this would be applied to. "I'll take your word for it. How exactly would you perform such a technique? I take it you have to learn the Healing Technique as a prerequisite?"

_Once the two were at a far enough distance for Ryuzu to still see, Hisagi and Baku prepared themselves. ”Learning the healing technique would make it easier. But when were you ever the one for the easier route, Ryuzu?” Hisagi smiled back to Ryuzu. Looking back to Baku, Hisagi nodded his head. The two getting ready as if they were about to brawl it out. ”Here I come, Little Saru~” Baku mused with a cheeky grin. With one hand seal, the ninken monkey’s hands were engulfed in flames. Skillfully and gracefully flowing his hands through the air, Baku charged for Hisagi. ”Ninja Art: Fire Comet Fuy” Baku activated his jutsu. With blinding speed, the monkey was standing before Hisagi. Hisagi’s eyes sneered then. Baku was really getting into this huh? Hisagi then focused his chakra. His body having a very subtle green glamour of chakra. Baku’s fiery fists slammed into Hisagi’s stomach a total of five consecutive times. Causing there specific area to erupt into a pillar of fire. Baku was the first to be seen emerging from the pillar of fire. Resetting bus combat stance, the monkey exhaled dropping his stance. The fire pillar faded away.
_ As the fire pillar vanished, Hisagi was shown to be hunched over. Panting heavily as he took the immediate blunt force of the attack. Slowly and painfully turning, Hisagi faces Ryuzu so he could see the effects of the jutsu. ” Yin Healing Wound Destruction” The Sarutobi painfully finished casting his jutsu. His whole chest and stomach area was scorched and almost burned to nothing. Broken ribs and a broken shoulder was clear. But it would seem the effects were gradually fading away. As if they were never as bad as they should’ve been from the start of the attack. Hisagi slowly stood up straighter and groaned as he short a glaring look to Baku. Baku chuckled as he flipped back over to hisagi. His tail swaying in innocence. ”with this jutsu, you must predict the area of the body that will be attack with pin point accuracy. Flooding that area with focus chakra. To the point where your healing it for no reason till it heals as if it was already attacked” Hisagi finished explaining as he turned and flicked Baku’s nose in annoyance. Clearly telling the summon to not overdue it all the time.
Watching in awe and in silence of the technique that was performed. Baku conjured up fire onto his fists as it seemed he was going to strike down Hisagi straight to his body. His guard went up in anticipation as the blows connected. Ryuzu could feel them from where he stood, seeing his friend fly back like that. "Your wound..it's actually healing." Almost like photographic memory took every snapshot possible when it came to this technique. He was for sure, he can make some serious use out of this jutsu. "Well you got me sold, I'm willing to learn this technique."

_Hearing Ryuzu's response made the sarutobi smile and nod his head. Giving a small relaxing sigh as his body began to recover and ease from his jutsu. Baku gave a small chuckle as he knelt down giving small yawn. His tail swaying back and forth. "Sure you're ready to learn? This jutsu is complicated. There's no hand seals. It's activated through the sheer focus and harnessing your chakra-" Baku began to explain but felt a chop to his head. Now pouting and groaning looking over to see it was Hisagi who chopped his head. Retracting his hand and gently patting the summons head, the Sarutobi smiled. "While focus and harnessing your chakra, you mold it into restorative and defensive natures. Targeting a certain area of the body that's in potential danger" Hisagi said as he looked back to Ryuzu. The Sarutobi smiled and then patted the summons head one last time. Removing his hand then, cupping it with the other in front of him. Hisagi gave a small sigh as he felt his body finally recover from Baku's technique. Now nodding to Ryuzu. "So, are you ready to learn? It'll be a little hard since you never even learned the healing technique. But I know you're up for the challenge"
The man could not lie. The idea of getting smacked up by Baku wasn't pleasant at all. That monkey is way too energetic to his taste. Not only that, he hits hard. Last time Ryuzu got hit by Baku with his guard down, Ryuzu felt that for about two weeks! Ryuzu let out a short and comedic sigh. "Harness chakra and mold it into restorative and defensive natures.."
-[ Training 1 ] Eyes dimmer, immediately shifting into a more serious tone, with the full awareness of what could be. Regardless he wouldn't progress until he actually starts. "C'mon Baku, I'm ready when you are." Baku, performing the same technique as he did to Hisagi, with one hand seal, the ninken monkey’s hands were engulfed in flames. Skillfully and gracefully flowing his hands through the air, Baku charged for Ryuzu in the same exact pace as before. The Ninja Art: Fire Comes Fun was active. Seeing him coming, Ryuzu began following the steps he saw before him.
-[ Training 2 ] Focus and harness the chakra into the area where the impact would happen before even coming into contact. The molding process as far as to how much and how quickly turned out to be the trick. This go round, he likely would have to wing it. His body sparked a subtle green glow of chakra before Baku’s fiery fists slammed into Ryuzu's stomach a total of five consecutive times. Causing there specific area to erupt into a pillar of fire. Baku was the first to be seen emerging from the pillar of fire. As the fire dissipated, Ryuzu emerged out hunched over, holding his stomach while sustaining a few burnt marks and short burns in the area. The area that was once glowing, now turned into streams of smoke evaporating as the wound didn't seem to provide any damage, with only a bit visible as proof of any succession. Regardless of how it was outside, Ryuzu was feeling like crap on the inside.

_Training was going well. Then again, Ryuzu was always a quick study. Especially when it came to jutsu and combat. Hisagi was standing by and watching as Baku and Ryuzu trained. This wasn't an easy jutsu to learn. The chakra flow had to be perfect. The chakra placement had to be perfect. The timing of activating the jutsu had to be perfect. Hell, this is medical jutsu in a nutshell. Every single detail had to be perfect or the jutsu will only be half effective or ineffective. Then, Baku activated his jutsu again. Believe it or not, this was one of Bau's weakest anf simplest jutsus. Yet it was so destructive and powerful. Crossing his arms a bit, with a slight pop of his hip; Hisagi's eyes sneered a bit. Analyzing Ryuzu as he prepared for the incoming attack. Analyzing the moment he activated the justu and handled the sheer force of Baku's jutsu. A small grin soon painting itself over Hisagi's face. Well, Ryuzu activated it, but did he do it correctly is the question? This is what Hisagi was thinking as he watched the two of them erupt into a pillar of radiant and burning fire.
_ Hisagi blinked as Baku was the first to emerge from the pillar of fire. Back handspringing and then back tucking the monkey summon landed infront of Hisagi. The monkey summoning knelt down into a crouching position. Hisagi placed a gentle hand on Baku's head as they both watched the pillar of fire finally vanish. Then Ryuzu emerged from the pillar. Hisagi gave a small laugh then. "It would seem you activated the jutsu, but could use a bit more practice. How does your insides feel?" Hisagi laughed as he teased Ryuzu a bit. "When you get the timing of the jutsu just right? All of that won't even be an issue anymore. But I'm truly impressed you were able to utilzie the jutsu day 1 of learning it. Then again, a man in your positon should be able to do such a feat, Ryuzu" Hisagi smiled as he caressed Baku's head. Baku gave a monkey like laugh before standing back up and stretching.
