Cyrus Marshall ~ The City Jail ~
How long had it been? What a silly question to ask, but as the guards greeted the Tiger, he would just smile and resist the urge to roll his eyes until he had at least passed the pair standing watch at the gate.
As per normal, Cyrus had been keeping a close eye on the moon phases... Even though the incident was well in the past, it still stuck in the back of his mind how he'd almost slaughtered a student barely a day into his arrival in Eoana - and then left Accaria - his latest...acquaintance, with a more than memorable scar across her midriff... but as he began to feel the draw, the Tiger knew it was best to drop by for a visit to 'check out the cells'.
After inadvertently scarring his latest victim, Cyrus had wasted little time in seeking out a meeting with Captain Reynard who after some deliberation agreed that it was perhaps for the best. So as the night of the Full Moon drew ever closer, Cyrus would begin spending the evenings inside one of the stronger holding cells - Nobody wanted a Feral Tiger on the loose after all and he certainly didn't want to risk harming anyone again, so in a cell specifically designed for the more stronger Eoanans, he would make his bed and wait out the nights.
Cyrus was confident that there was still a fair amount of time before the Full Moon, so the Tiger was happy to just wander around until evening fell of course - He had also felt there was little need for any added comfort as he would often take on his shifter form to sleep in such locations - but the mattress was always welcome and with a book or two to pass the time.
"Yep... That time again," he would sigh, paying little attention to the criminals residing in the nearby cells, "Have you done something with the place?" he would tilt his head as though trying to make conversation, "It certainly smells a little less...mouldy,"
"Nothing I know of." the Guard was one of the few aware of Cyrus's 'issue' but decided to play along, "You're a little early though," he was certain the Full Moon wasn't for days - that and the fact the Tiger had chosen to visit during daylight hours,
"Just figured I'd take a glance around," Cyrus shrugged, if he was honest, it felt a little warmer today and with such an increase of heat, there was always the chance it could cause a thunderstorm or two - and where best to hide...erm... ride out the storm that somewhere safely inside?"Test the metal...so to speak?" He cast a smile towards the guard, but felt almost sure the man wasn't buying it...

Cyrus Marshall ~ The City Jail ~
After spending the previous day just milling around, helping the jailers out with anything he could, Cyrus had decided that he would spend the night in the cells. It wasn't something he would have done naturally, but with the pull of the moon growing ever stronger, the Tiger knew it was for the best that he spent the next few days sleeping there - rather than in his own, more comfortable bed back at the Barracks.
It may have seemed strange to others for someone to openly request a few nights in the cells, but Cyrus had to admit he was afraid - not just for himself, but for others as well - If the urge came earlier than expected and he lost control of his Shifter Form and caused someone harm... His mind often drifted back to the night when he'd turned Feral and attacked Accaria - she had taken it well, claiming it was her means of remembering him, but he still felt bad... She of course had moved off to pastures old, but the thought still remained and if he could help it, he would subject himself to this imprisonment for the good of the community.
Yawning, the Tiger would stretch as the sound of keys jangling in the lock of his cell drew his senses towards the guard who had been in charge of his incarceration for a few moons now. Sleeping in his Shifter form was much more comfortable than remaining human and sleeping on the mattress that had been provided for him - it wouldn't go unused of course, sometimes he found it hard to settle or just wanted to spend the night with his thoughts, but as the sun rose and spread its warmth across his black coat, the Tiger would rise to his feet, greeting the guard with a deep purring before returning to his human form and stretching again.
"Daylight already..." As though he hadn't yawned enough already, Cyrus would yawn once again before passing the guard who calmly locked the cell again behind him.
"Sleep well?" the Guard almost relished when the Tiger came to visit... The sounds of a sleeping Tiger often spooked the prisoners into silence - perhaps it was the fear of knowing they were just metres from a creature capable of dispatching them with a single bite, but who knew?
"Guess I'd better go see what's new," With the summer break, Cyrus was almost certain there would be new recruits and hopeful students hanging around looking for some training sessions to join - and if he could help out, then all for the better. If the Captain had other plans of course, he was more than happy to assist - there were still jobs to be done afterall.
Bidding the older Guard farewell, Cyrus left the Jail and set his sights on the Barracks to check in.

Cyrus Marshall ~ The City Jail ~
Cyrus had to admit, he'd enjoyed Eryli's company yesterday, it was just a shame that they had to end their 'shift' slightly earlier than expected - but with the moon on the rise, the Tiger hadn't wanted to take the chance... Each and every night, the moon grew larger, now she would soon be at her fullest and he...well... Cyrus just hoped the jail cell would hold him - for he couldn't forgive himself if he harmed any one else...
Sadly as the nights grew nearer, the Tiger would find himself growing increasingly restless... As the hours passed, he could be found pacing the four corners of his cell, back and forth, grumbling away to himself before curling up on the furs in the corner - only to rise no more than an hour later to repeat the same actions once again...
Rising with the sun - or rather, giving up on sleep, the Tiger would yawn and stretch, his hand lifting up towards the wall to trace the lines where he had perhaps drawn his claws frustratingly during the night, before pushing himself to his feet. He fancied a good hunt - that sometimes helped to ease the ache within, but with Eoana Forest restricted to larger numbers only, he knew it would be foolish to venture out alone...
As the guard came to open the cell door, he looked as though his own night had been just as rough... Cyrus would enquire, but the older man would just shake his head - whatever had happened wasn't something to be discussed infront of the prisoners and by the time they reached the main doors to the Jail, the Tiger had quite forgotten to follow up his question.
"I wonder what Sarai has planned this morning...?"
Setting tired eyes on the new day, Cyrus would give one more long stretch before taking on his Shifter Form and heading off towards the Barracks.

Eoana City Guard || Aldaine De'Fraye

Aldaine wasted no time making his way to the jail cells. The shifters mind had been greatly preoccupied as of late, given recent events. While the shifter hated, no, despised Arthur for what he had done, there were questions that Aldaine wanted answers, and if it came down to it, he was perfectly willing to request the higher ups to allow a short…interrogation if necessary. Regardless, he entered the prison quarters and searched for the cell Arthur was held in.
However, Aldaine felt his eye widened slightly as he found that Arthur was nowhere to be seen. However, after a few moments, his gaze darkened, his hand balling into a clenched fist. Unlike most, Aldaine saw that there was no point in panicking, for it wouldn’t solve the fact that Arthur De’Fraye was now missing. Aldaine wouldn’t let this stand, he would not let Arthur escape the justice that he so deserved. Turning on his heels, Aldaine exited the jail and made his way to the city wall to meet Cyrus and Diane. Once there, he could inform the two of what he has discovered.
