As Spring rolls into Summer in Tendaji it appears that something is not as it should be. In fact, strange and unpredictable weather is happening all across the world. Strong storms, bizarre heat waves, unheard of snow storms, floods, and other similar events are happening in all of the countries. Some are superstitious, seeing it as a warning of great evil, others blame the Dretch, some shrug it off as a freaky incident, and others ignore that it's even such an oddity.

However, one thing is certain - all the lands are dealing with these weird weather outbreaks in their own way. How are you handling matters? Do you try to help others, are you too focused on yourself, or do you want to try and find answers for the causes behind these recent events? Or did you get caught out in the disaster yourself and these are your memories of how you had to fight against the odds to get to safety?

Basically this is a solo (or a rp with a friend) to write out how your character is being affected by these strange occurrences in Tendaji.

Chibale and Matori are both suffering from snow - something that has rarely hit these warmer countries before! A blizzard especially is unheard of.

Jahaur and Yael are experiencing drought. Rain hasn't fallen for the last couple of weeks...

Tale, Sauti, and Oba are experiencing massive amounts of rain to the point that some of the desert is flooding.

Zena is having the strangest heat wave and some areas once covered year-round with snow and ice are even starting to melt...

Belrea is shaken. Literally. A huge earthquake has ripped through the continent scaring many and even now faint rumbles from its impact shift at random beneath your feet.

It was with a look of utter contempt as Ergon looked down at his pants. Mud was splattered all along the back after he had been sent running after a client with sticky fingers. The treasure was safely in hand, but now his clothes were disgusting. His cheek would be bruising quickly, too, but at least he could be satisfied knowing the other guy would look worse.

Heading back to work, he almost dove for cover when he saw Iriyana walking around as well. If she should see him in such a state! Diving would only make things worse though; the mud was everywhere. Instead, he just smoothed his hair and carried himself with his usual dignity as well as an unnecessarily apologetic smile. "Riya," he called with a little wave.

Seeing Riya's smile gave Ergon a greater joy than he could remember getting from anything else. "Yes, I am," he replied anyway. At least she didn't see too disappointed in his appearance. Well, most of it, at least.

His hand rose to give Riya's hand a reassuring squeeze. "The unreasonably warm weather has messed with some heads. A scoundrel tried to steal an item from the office, and was unwilling to give it back when I caught up to him. It was a weak hit only, I assure you. He came out of it much worse than I." His free hand patted his pocket lightly. "The item is retrieved, the brute is off with the authorities, and the bruise will be small. So, where are you going in this muck?"

Ergon chuckled lightly. "I have no doubt. He was not one to waste your time on." While it would have been a satisfying sight, he was happier not getting Riya involved in any confrontations.

"Herbs?" He turned slightly to look in the direction of the market. "I wonder if this weather is affecting the market at all. I have not been there yet, myself. I imagine they're doing a bit of shuffling to adjust."

It still surprised Ergon, every once in a while, to hear his girlfriend went hunting. It was a natural part of life, yes, but most well-off women did not do their own catching. Heck, even he wasn't one to go out and hunt. Iriyana was a capable woman, for sure.

The explanation caught his interest though. "A paralytic?" he repeated, cocking his head. "That does make sense. You will want to make sure it is one that will not linger in the meat, though." He smirked lightly. "I certainly would not want my mouth to go numb in the middle of eating~"

Ergon grinned at Riya's laugh and nodded along. He knew little of how blood and muscles worked, so he trusted she was right. "I am certain you will figure it out."

Glancing at the sky, he took a moment to consider how he would be working today. "I will need to do a little extra work, thanks to the brute trying to steal things. Double check the rest of the inventory, write up the incident... Perhaps I will be done about sundown as well." Looking to Riya, he let his smile warm. "Would you care to join me for dinner when you return?"

Ergon gave a halfhearted smile. "It will be a bit tedious, but it won't be the worst thing I've had to do there. One of the back shelves broke, along with everything sitting on it. Now that was bad." A whole day had been spent scrubbing up that incident.

His weaker smile grew with Riya's. He started to lean in to kiss her cheek, but the meow caught the attention of both icelings. "I suppose I should not delay us any further. However, I do believe I would like a strong cup of tea to keep me going the rest of the day." Turning, he reached to hook his arm lightly around Riya's waist. "How about I escort you to the market?"

Ergon smirked and shook his head. "I am sure that they will understand me taking a brief detour." Besides, what sort of man would he be if he didn't at least offer to escort his girlfriend around on such a miserably warm day? He needed a few minutes anyway to plan out where he would be taking Riya for dinner later. Maybe the walk would give him some inspiration~
