Aria Starstone -
Seren stared out the window of her small apartment, looking at the beautiful day outside. She had been studying for the past few hours... Finals were almost here, after all... and she was beginning to feel antsy and mentally itchy. And tired of studying. She saw motion, and glanced at it, then processed some people skateboarding nearby, before she stood up. "I need to go for a run. That's what I need. And not on the treadmill. It's been a good day, and I just want a break."

She strode to her bedroom, and changed into her running gear... Galaxy print leggings and a runner's t-shirt in deep blue, with the constellation of Aries printed on it in silvery white, then tugged on a pair of slightly beat up blue and purple trainers. She grabbed her running belt, her keys, her cell phone and headphones, and her tiny wallet, and tucked all the small items into the belt, then put it on. At this point, she headed out the door, and locked it behind her, before taking the stairs down. 6 floors, but she was used to it at this point, and being on the top floor meant no upstairs neighbors, at least. And it was a good pre run warm up.

She got to the front door, and stepped out.

Pao -
Nate glanced toward the extra motion on his way back home, a smirk on his face as he nodded toward one--not quite a friend but someone he recognized from the local skate park. They were acquaintances, at least, and as he skated past the small group it seemed appropriate enough to do. Not too friendly, but...polite. His smile was rather practiced as well, but he doubted an acquaintance would realize that much.

And then the small group, and that acquaintance, was behind him and he stopped worrying about it.

He gave a small sigh and sped up just a little bit so he could get to his building faster. It'd been a long day between work and the gym and he was just about ready for a shower and some food. And it was in the midst of these thoughts that he skated up to the door...and right into someone. It happened fast enough that he almost didn't feel anything, just that he wasn't entirely on the ground and that his skateboard was upside down several feet ahead of ********..." he muttered as he slowly opened his eyes.

Aria Starstone -
Seren yelped in surprise as there was suddenly a person right in front of her, and that was all the time she had to do before he was no long in front of her, but slamming into her. She didn't have time to brace, or anything, and therefore gravity won the day this time. She went over backwards, a** hitting the ground hard, and the rest of her shortly after. Her head clonked hard enough that for a moment, all she saw was stars.

Once she was able to process reality again, she realized there was a warm, heavy weight on top of about half of her, her head and a** hurt, and... ********, so did her ankle, somewhat. She took a slow breath, trying to decide how to handle this, her head turning enough to see who had collided with her, trying not to panic a little. Who had she ******** over with her existence this time?

The blue eyes dazedly took in the man and she recognized him as someone she saw in the building semi-regularly, and occasionally at the gym she went to. She bit her lip, for a long moment, not sure what the hell to say in this situation, before shifting, just a touch, thinking she could wiggle free... and whimpered because her ankle decided it hurt more then she had thought. "Ow!"

Pao -
It was only when his eyes had fully opened and the pain started to register that he recognized who was under him. She lived down hall from him, and while he normally didn't pay that much attention to his neighbors it was hard to forget someone who looked like her. It was mostly the hair, but the hair framed a pretty face and so it was hard not to notice her. He blinked a few times as the pain settled and, when she cried out, he shifted and settled beside her. Focused.

"Where exactly does it hurt?" he asked while looking over her body for any signs of blood of bruising or serious injury. It was a quick assessment, the kind he learned to do after just a months of being on the job. After he glanced her over he glanced around them to make sure no one else had somehow gotten hurt, perhaps by his runaway board that was just sitting on the sidewalk now. There was no one else, so he turned his attention back to her.

Aria Starstone -
She took a few breaths, and closed her eyes again, assessing herself as she considered the pain. His words, though, had her eyes opening in surprise, because she really wasn't used to anyone else worrying about her. She studied him, for a moment, confusion flickering in her blue eyes, then finally she said "The bad pain is in my ankle. Think I might have twisted it going down. Hit my had a touch, but..." She sighed a little, and shrugged.

"It hurts like it's bruised, but nothing else. Same thing with um. My backside." She flushed as she said that, not wanting to say '******** my life, I just bruised my a**' but sure as hell thinking it. Until THAT faded, she was gonna be so thrilled sitting down. She hoped that it faded before her first final. "Other then that, I think I'm ok." She tried for a joking tone in her next words. "Ya know, other than temporarily squashed." She gave him a tremulous smile and hoped he wouldn't be pissed at her for being in his way.

Pao -
He blinked, not noticing any signs of confusion that she was showing, then shifted so he was right by her feet. "Even if you don't feel anything right now I suggest you go see a doctor to get yourself checked. No signs now doesn't mean nothing happened and it's better to be sure. For right now...if you let me I can at least take a look at your ankle. Is that alright with you?" he asked, for the moment keeping his hands to himself. He wasn't exactly in uniform so he didn't expect her to know what he did for a living. Explaining it...slipped his mind. At least for the time being.

Other than the work that he felt had to be done there wasn't much else that he noticed. Not her expression, not her tone, not even the nervous little smile that she tried to pull on just as he turned his eyes back to her ankle.

And then he stopped for a second and looked back up at her, the usual flat expression replaced by something more...apologetic. A rarity, but he wasn't that bad of a guy that he didn't realize when he'd done something wrong. "Sorry, by the way. I normally don't skate right up to the door, but..." He let the statement end there, not seeing a reason to voluntarily explain himself any further.

Aria Starstone -
She watched him, her expression getting more confused by the minute, behind that smile. Why would he take a look at her ankle? Did he have first aid training or something? "Um... Are you first aid trained?" She thought to ask, her tone redolent with the confusion she was under, which wasn't just about the first aid stuff. "If so, sure. Best I find out if I broke anything before I try to get up." She did not understand why he cared... Ok, he'd banged into her, but... they were basically strangers, other then 'oh that's the dude that lives down the hall.' She didn't even know which apartment he was in, just that it was on the same floor.

And then he apologized, and her eyes went wide, and since he was actually looking at her, the odds of him missing the look of utter bafflement that crossed her face for a moment was pretty low. She managed to hide it pretty quickly, though, and said "Ah I mean... accidents happen. Just... maybe remember to stop a few feet short next time?" She carefully sat up, and felt a moment of dizziness, but it passed fairly quickly, so she figured that her head wasn't too bad.

"And yeah... I'll go down to the school doctors, on campus, and get checked." She earned the money she used for anything not covered by her scholarship with tutoring. Tutoring didn't include insurance. School insurance was all she had, so the school doctors it was. She was just glad that there was a med student department on campus, because they were able to see more people that way, for the basic stuff at least.

Pao -
He confusion confused him in turn, but then again...when she asked her question it finally registered that he should probably mention his line of work. "I do have first aid training," came his reply, "I don't carry a kit with me or anything so if something happened to your ankle I'd have to go to my apartment to get things to take care of it."

And it was at that point that he reached for her foot, talking as he worked. "Since you're conscious I'll just run through things quickly. I need to take a look so I'm gonna slip your shoes and socks off." He glanced at her feet for a moment, comparing the two before pressing his hands against her toes. "Any problems feeling my hands? If not, can you wiggle your toes for me?"

Aria Starstone -
She found herself thinking he had more than the basic first aid training, from how professional he was about this. However, she focused on what he was doing. "Mmm yeah, I can feel your hands, so I'm not numb." She knew what numb could mean, and she was grateful she wasn't. She considered and wiggled her toes. "Mmm doesn't hurt more then I would expect for a sprain or twist." The voice of experience. Well, she was a runner and no runner escaped sprains and all forever, so she did have some idea on how that felt.

She sighed, however, a frustrated sound. "Dammit, this is gonna keep me off my feet for a few days minimum, isn't it? And I was hoping for a good run outside today." Her head fell back and she sighed, eyes closing. "Needed that break from studying, do something outside, something physical. Now... Huh. Well I'll work it out. But first..." She opened her eyes and focused on him, giving him that tremulous smile again, and teased "What's the prognosis, then, sir?"

Pao -
He nodded at her responses then, at her words, glanced up again. "Not your first time, huh?" he said, a flicker of a smile crossing his features. Another rarity, but it was always nice to run into a fellow athlete. Though...probably not in such a literal way next time. "You could always just focus on upper body strength until this heals up," he offered before refocusing on his work.

"Let's see first, if it's more than just a simple sprain or twist. Follow me for a second?" And then he proceeded to direct her in moving her foot in six different directions: up, down, right, left, twisting in, and twisting out. He did two more assessments afterwards, testing for pain, and then strength, and when he finished he looked up at her with a look that leaned more toward a positive prognosis.

"All that just to be thorough, but it's probably just a simple sprain. We can test to see how much weight you can put on it when you get up. Lemme know when you're ready?"

Aria Starstone -
"No, definitely not. Running means sprains and twists." She sighed wistfully and shrugged. The smile, though, caught her eyes, even if it was fast and just small, but she found herself thinking it was a nice smile. She certainly had noticed his broad shoulders and handsome face in the past, but she hadn't thought much about it, since it was just 'that good lookin' dude down the hall.' "Um I guess? Don't know much about upper body stuff, to be honest. I'm... mostly a runner. Pretty much only a runner, really. What I know is running, and appropriate stretching." She sighed again. "Which I guess is silly of me."

She then focused on his directions, and managed to do most of it without trouble. It hurt some, there was pain, but only what matched with a very simple sprain. She was relieved, honestly, at how little she was hurting, and found herself hoping she'd be able to not worry about it by tomorrow.

"Alright. Yeah, let's get this done. The sooner I get up and test, the better off I am." She shifted, and began to get herself to her feet, making sure not to put weight on it until she was standing. The last thing she wanted was to find out it couldn't support her and have herself fall on her a** a second time.

Pao -
Ah, the "only runner" type. Given her build it made sense, but he couldn't quite get himself to understand why she wouldn't work on anything else even a little bit. He let it go with a simple nod, and as she started to shift he stopped her only long enough to put shoes on her good foot, and then he started helping her up to her feet.

"Good, no weight on it first," he said quietly as he slipped her arm over his shoulders while he slipped one of his own around her waist. It was a standard position to help anyone who needed help getting up and staying up, after all. "Whenever you're ready," he said once they were up. Briefly, though, he glanced toward his skateboard...and frowned. Blatantly. Because it was gone. Thankfully it wasn't one he was attached to at all; just a basic board to get him from A to B, so it didn't feel like much of a loss....

But still.

Aria Starstone -
She found herself thinking maybe she should work on other parts of herself, and she had considered doing something before, if only so she could fend off potential attackers, but... She didn't know enough about it, and she didn't know anyone who DID well enough to ask. And she couldn't afford to pay a personal trainer. All told, she didn't think it was an option for her. She sighed a little, though, thinking about it.

When he helped her up, she flashed him a smile of thanks, not weirded out about it, even if it made her nervous at the same time... What if he could feel her back through her shirt? He might notice something, this shirt was thin so she didn't overheat. She didn't even realize she was shivering a little in nerves at the idea of him noticing the bumps and ridges of her scars on her back. She was about to respond, when she saw where he looked and saw what was missing.

His board. Her face went upset. "Oh no! Your board... I..." She bit her lip, then said "It disappeared while you were helping me. I should... replace it for you." She hoped she had enough, but if not, she'd do it next month. In the meantime, though, she sighed and added "Yeah. I'm ready..." She carefully lowered her leg all the way, and began to shift her weight off her good leg... and off his supporting arm. Finally, she was standing on it, her face showing that it hurt but... again, it was about what she expected from a lowish level strain.

Pao -
He blinked at where his board had been for a moment longer, but then sighed as he looked away when she noticed as well. "I have more, it's no big deal," he said, eyes now on her face as he waited for her to finally shift her weight. When she did he noted the pained look on her face, though she was fainting or taking her weight off of the foot right away so it seemed like a good sign that, if nursed properly, it wouldn't be too long of a stint off of her feet.

"Feels....not like the worst pain you've ever felt?" he asked, thinking on what he would count as his own. He flashed back to a particularly horrendous series of nights three or so years ago and did his best not to keep his expression even.

Aria Starstone -
She blinked a little, then said "Well alright... I won't argue, my budget isn't huge, but... I still feel bad." She tried to think of a way she could make it up to him, despite him saying that. She focused on that for a moment, then suddenly, shyly smiled up at him. "If I can't get you a new one, maybe I can thank you for your help and all by baking you some kinda sweet treat?" That would be easier for her to fit in her budget, honestly, since she had most of the ingredients she'd need already.

She then refocused on her leg, and his question, and it might confuse him to hear what was definitely a dark sounding chuckle come from her. "This is definitely nothing like the worst pain I've ever felt." Her tone was flat as she said it, other then a hint of unhappiness, and that dark humor that prompted the chuckle. "No, it's not fun, but I think I could walk on it, 'specially if I can get an Ace somehow."

Pao -
"Some kid in the neighborhood's probably have a good time with it, so like I said, no big deal," he said, though he paused at her offer of sweets. It was tempting...so tempting. If he wasn't trying to be strict with his diet this month he would have jumped at the offer.. But no. Instead he sighed and shook his head lightly. "Don't worry about it, seriously."

Her answer to his question was somewhere between good and strange. But everyone had their stories so he nodded and glanced down at her shoe and sock. "I've got a couple of those in my apartment. I'll help you get upstairs, just a sec, though." Quickly he leaned down and grabbed them, then repositioned himself so he could help her walk.

Aria Starstone -
"Oh... ok." She tried not to sound disappointed, and mostly managed. She was just gonna have to feel guilty, it seemed. Her hand on the side not near him came up to brush hair from her face, as she tried to keep herself from feeling unhappy that she couldn't do something to apologize for his brush with her curse getting even worse. "I guess, as long as you're really not bothered." Even if she was.

Also, a little bit of her was disappointed because she hadn't gotten to make something for someone else in a long time. She maybe didn't usually just offer but... she missed the reactions.

"Oh? Oh! I..." She paused, now feeling herself even more indebted to him, but at the same time utterly grateful for his kindness. "That would be nice, certainly nicer then trying to hobble to the nearest drugstore to get one myself. We're gonna take the elevator, though, right? I don't think I can manage 6 flights like this..." She was glad the building had one, even if it was a bit old and dingy. It worked.

Pao -
There was something in her tone that was different, though he didn't pay enough attention to put any serious thought into it. He simply noticed, and left it at that. "I'm not. Who knows, maybe you'll be the one to help me when I'm in a pinch next time." Though he wasn't hoping he'd ever be in one anytime soon. "Plus I ran into you, so if anything I should get you something for being the one who messed up your ankle."

With that he started helping her inside, naturally heading toward the elevator. "And yeah, the elevator. I wouldn't make a patient hobble up ever two or three steps on a bad ankle, so six flights is definitely not happening." Though he had two trouble instances with the contraption already, this was an emergency and he could bypass those bad experiences to help a patient out.

"I could give you something to use for an ice pack, too, if you need it? 10 minutes on, and then 10 minutes off. Make sure you rest and keep your foot elevated so it heals up faster."

Aria Starstone -
"Alright, then." Was all she could say to that, though she found herself thinking he had no idea what he was talking about. Yeah, ok, sure he ran into her, but she was the curse here, so obviously it was her fault. Still, at least most of those she caused problems for in the past were far away and she couldn't harm them anymore. She just sighed softly, trying not to think about it, as they moved. "Well, if I can do you a favor, just... let me know. I'd feel better, after your board got stolen. I mean, I get it, you don't mind. Just..." And she trailed off, giving a one shouldered shrug.

"I... patient?" She glanced at him as they moved, surprised. "Are you a doctor?" She didn't say 'What are you doing living in these cheap a** apartments' even though she thought it. "That would certainly explain why you know first aid, though, and how to do all of what you did." When they got to the elevator, the button was closer to her free hand then his, so she reached over and hit it gently. "But thank goodness. I think I'd rather die then climb stairs right now."

She hmmm'd thoughtfully, and then shook her head, though she smiled gratefully at him. "I have a 'peas' hot or cold therapy pack in the freezer, just in case I DO get a small sprain while running, but I appreciate it. I have ibuprofen, too. I'll ice my ankle, once I get back to my apartment, elevate for half an hour, and make an appointment with the school doctor, then hop on the bus."

Pao -
It seemed extra rude to refuse even that offer, so he eventually gave a small nod to her as they waited for the elevator. "If I think of something, I'll let you know," he said quietly, not quite comfortable with it but overall it seemed less burdensome than the rest so he let it be.

"And no, I'm not a doctor." He paused just long enough for them to get situated in the elevator once the doors opened, then continued. "I'm an EMT, so basically all I do is first aid." Though his ultimate goal was always to go into sports medicine...things didn't quite pan out after high school for him. Which was both good and bad, in a way. Good in that he at least had a toe in the door, bad in that given his situation he doubted if he could ever get into medical school. Or even have time to study if he somehow managed to get in.

"So just the ACE wrap is good? What about crutches? You're going to the school today?"

Aria Starstone -
"Thanks. I know it's weird but... it makes me feel better to know there's a chance I can pay you back." She sighed in relief, glad he had accepted that, just feeling relief. She got into the elevator with him, and tilted her head so she could watch his expressions as he talked.

"EMTs do more then first aid, I know that much. Ya'll sometimes have to risk your lives to get the patients you're helping out of a bad situation." She gave him a small smile. "Y'all are brave. I don't know if I could do what you do, honestly. Add in the blood, the people screaming in pain... I think I'd be too petrified with worry that I'd make things worse. I hope you get the appreciation you deserve for doing that." She had no idea what was going through his head, obviously, so she just was doing what felt right. Making sure he knew she thought what he did mattered.

She hmmm'd at the thought of crutches, her eyes lost in thought. "I mean, if you have some I could borrow that are of the right height..." She knew she used 'average height' crutches, from the last time she'd twisted her ankle. He was tall enough that he probably had to use the 'Tall' crutches. "I could use them, it would make it easier to get to campus. I don't have classes, but you did say I should get my head checked."

A pause, then a snort of laughter as the alternative meaning to that phrase occurred to her. "I mean make sure that my head is physically ok."

Pao -
He knew his job mattered, and he appreciated it when someone else could see that, too, but he preferred to downplay it if only to keep everything in perspective. And to remind himself that it wasn't his final goal. Still, he gave a nod and another flash of a small smile but didn't say much else about it.

He couldn't help smirking out of amusement at her little joke, though it didn't last long and he focused on the crutches issue they were trying to resolve. "I've got height adjustable ones. They're a little older but should still be usable. Wanna give that a shot?" The bell dinged and the doors opened just as he asked, so he helped her out of the elevator and started heading down the hall. First toward his door, but he hesitated for a second before glancing at her.

"Your apartment, then? So you can get settled. I can just bring everything to your place anyway, not like any of it's heavy."

Aria Starstone -
"As long as I can use 'em and not pull a muscle in my shoulder, I would appreciate it. I'll return 'em when I'm better, since that's the kind of thing that isn't replaced cheap." She just gave him another grateful smile, her lips curving up softly at him. "I really do appreciate it. You've gone out of your way." She kept the fact that she found this confusing out of her expression, that he wanted to help her this much, and instead just showed the gratitude.

And then he asked about where to go. She hesitated as well, feeling a little strange about giving a man who... she didn't even know the name of, as yet... access to her apartment. Sure, it didn't need to be for long, but... It felt a little odd.

After a moment, though, she said "Um... yeah, ok. That works. I can... start icing and call the doctor while you're getting the crutches and the Ace. I'm in 715." She used her free hand to dig out her keys.

Pao -
"Taking you to the hospital would have been out of the way," he remarked as they started for her apartment. "This kind of thing is what I do for a living, so just look at it as an EMT doing his job." He didn't think it needed to be anything more than that, and truthfully...he didn't want it to be. Friends weren't something he was comfortable with having, even now. Neighbors that sort of knew each other...acquaintances...that was his expertise and he was fine with that.

"To make things fair, I'm in 703," he did say, at least.

Aria Starstone -
"That is true, but... Oh never mind." She didn't know how to explain it, and her tone said so. Explaining why she felt it was important, why his help made her grateful to the level it did would delve deeper into things she didn't know how to explain without revealing WAY more then she was comfortable revealing. "As you like, then." She turned towards her door and once they got there, she got it all unlocked.

"Ah good. That'll make it easier for me to return your crutches." She popped the door open and sighed a little, looking at her cheap thrift shop furnishings. She'd avoided inviting anyone over, until now.

Pao -
He was happy to let the subject finally go, though her tone made it sound like she had more to say about it but she was stopping for some reason or another. Which was fine with him. Once the door was open he helped her to the sofa, not at all paying any mind to the state of her apartment. It wasn't his business to mind, nor to judge, so he did his best not to and focused on what he was there to do.

"Alright, gonna go grab that stuff. Be right back."

He made sure to glance at her foot to see if it was getting any worse with all the walking they'd done. When he saw that it looked almost the same he left and quickly got the ACE, a bottle of painkillers just in case, and the one crutch before he headed back. "I brought Ibuprofen in case you're almost out," he said once he got back. "If you're not I can just take it back, no worries."

Aria Starstone -
She sighed and settled down on the couch, then realized that maybe she should have asked him to get her the ice pack out of the freezer before he left... as soon as he was out of sight. She had her head back, and her expression was one of 'I AM A MORON' when he came back, because she felt stupid.

When he spoke, though, she looked up, and gave him a small smile. "Thanks. Um. Can you do me a small favor, and grab the ice pack outa my freezer, while I get this wrapped?" She sighed and then an odd look crossed her face. "Um. I'm Seren. Seren Yong, by the way. I mean, since you've been helping me and all, I figure I should introduce myself. And... I have enough. I go to the big warehouse site to get things like that in bulk. But thank you!"

Pao -
The expression he saw when he looked up at her was surprise at first, and then confusion, and then amusement. Only once she asked for that favor did it make sense, and he simply nodded as he set the wrap and the crutch beside her before going to the freezer. He finally noticed a bit of her apartment as he walked to her kitchen and back to her, though he didn't comment, as always.

"Nate," he introduced himself in turn. "It's kinda weird introducing myself to a patient since I don't usually do that when I'm working." For a second his lip curled up into a small smile as he took a seat across from her. "As for the pills, I'll hang onto mine then."

He waited for her to finish wrapping her ankle before he grabbed the nearby pillows and set them down on top of one another, then gestured for her to put her foot up onto it. "10 on, 10 off, alright? And elevated, just like this."

Aria Starstone -
"Thanks!" She called after him as he went, and immediately got to wrapping her ankle. She was clearly very good with a bandage, possibly a little too good for someone who probably should only have experience with bandaging an ankle on occasion. After she got it wrapped, she sat up, and smiled. "Nice to meet you, Nate, even if the circumstances are awkward." She chuckled a little. "And I mean, sure but then again you're not working. I'm your neighbor. It's just being neighborly or something, I guess?"

She seemed unsure, and then took the ice pack, letting him get the pillows set up before she put her leg up, and the ice on it. "Right. Got it. I can manage that, I think. Just wish I had something more interesting to do while doing this, until it's time to go." She'd called and made the appointment.

Pao -
Being neighborly...it was a little out of reach for him to grasp as a concept so he just shrugged. "Could be. It's work to me whenever I do this kind of thing, but...maybe?" He stayed in the seat across from her for a moment, only long enough for her to tell him that she would do as he instructed, and then he slowly got up.

"Read a book, maybe?" he suggested, though he wasn't sure if she was much of a reader. "Or watch TV? Lots of stuff on Netflix now. Or Hulu if you're into the ads." Which he wasn't...but then the only kind of things he liked to watch were related to fitness and mostly on YouTube so he wasn't one to talk. "What time's your appointment?"

Aria Starstone -
"Ah ok." Was all she could think to say, regarding it being work to him. He'd helped her, and wasn't getting paid to do it, so in her mind it didn't count but... Whatever works for him. She watched him stand, and her eyes held both relief, acceptance and, though it might confuse him, disappointment. She was so lonely, but so scared to let others in...

"Mmm I am a big reader, but I've been studying all day. Finals are almost here. Dead week is next week." She sounded tired. "And... I guess I can watch youtube, or something, but I don't own a TV." She glanced at her small laptop. It was literally the kind of thing one could get on a scholarship budget, and it was a miracle her internet in here was decent. "Uh. In 3 hours, so I'll have to get moving in about 2 to be sure I have time to get to the bus, on the bus, and to the doctor." The stop was just at the corner but... crutches.

Pao -
The life of a student...he'd missed out on college life so he was a little jealous. Just a little. Though he blinked at her with a rather flat expression as he honestly couldn't relate to the feeling of going through such a thing as Dead week. "You could look up workouts to do while your ankle's healing up?" he offered, hands slipping into his pockets. "There are a few videos I could recommend for that, and it's on YouTube so no subscription fees or anything." He was also familiar with how to navigate life on a budget.

"Or just look up funny videos or something, cheer up a little. A sprained ankle is annoying to deal with, especially if you're a runner." It wasn't much of a suggestion but he hoped it helped. "Anyway, I should get going. Be careful on your way to the hospital, and I hope you find something interesting to do while you wait..." Slowly but surely he inched his way to the door, and then turned to face her.

"Guess I'll see you around?"

Aria Starstone -
"Yeah, those recommendations would be nice, actually." She sat up, eyes instantly a little more lively. "I don't really know much about fitness beyond running, and never knew where to look for good, safe information. The internet has so much and too often it's misleading. The last thing I want to do is try to up my fitness and instead, injure myself. So yeah, that would be utterly amazing."

She paused, watching him inch away, however, and realized he couldn't wait to get out of here. "But you clearly have somewhere to be, so... another time I guess?" She wasn't going to inflict herself on him anymore, though she felt her stomach sink to realize he was so eager to get away from her.

"There a lot of good info and demonstrations on Youtube," he started, then listed a few for her to look up. "There were what I started out with, and they don't just cover upper body. They go through all kind of movements you could do to make your own workouts, and they do a lot of explaining. All of 'em, so I suggest looking those up first. They have a full on website, too, with all kinds of resources."

She sighed a little as he opened the door, and nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, that sounds good. Info like that is appreciated. I'll talk to you later."

He nodded, another flicker of a smile crossing his features as she thanked him. So he parsed through his other options before nodding at her final greeting.

"Later."
