Mithra did a few quick stretches before she went out to hunt for targets for the night. If there was one complaint she had about the summer, it was that it took much longer for night time to actually hit, which meant she would have to stay up longer than she really wanted to. At least the warmth made up for it. But tonight it meant that she was mostly just waiting for the sun to completely set before going out. Currently she was on a rooftop where she could get a good view of a nearby park with the sun setting to her right and she could just enjoy the scenery for a moment. A scenery she sometimes wondered how much longer she would get to enjoy. Too much was happening too fast, whether it be her job, what was happening to the planet, what the Negaverse's latest plan was, she sometimes felt like she couldn't take it all in. At least she could punch her frustrations out on some bags. She sometimes wondered if other people felt like her, and even if she had joined a little niche group within the Dark Mirror senshi group she still sometimes felt like they were too scattered to be of any usefulness to well... anyone. She sighed and continued to stretch out, not wanting to pull a muscle too badly if she managed to do something dumb.

Getting out this late was not easy, not when you lived in a place which went on lock down essentially, but he did manage to get out. How he got out...well that was something he wouldn't be telling anyone, for multiple reasons. But the dark mirror senshi of bleeding hearts had gotten out and was now wandering the city on his own, though he really should have called a friend of his to join him. The Generals company was better than being alone, plus it was safer. But he didn't do that, he could handle himself, he was just waiting for it to get darker so he could gather some energy and than return home and to his bed.
Being that the sun was still up, though only just so, the dark mirror senshi was keeping to the shadows of alleyways in order to hide. He knew, thanks to the news, what the terrorists looked like and he knew that he would now be considered one. He didn't need, or want, people trying to attack him due to his uniform. As much as he could handle himself...that wasn't against a mob of people.
What he didn't know, because he just couldn't sense it yet, was that he was headed toward another dark mirror senshi. Had he known that he might have turned and headed in the other direction, he really wasn't much for being social with others. But he didn't sense it...not yet anyway.

As Mithra continued to look at the sunset, though not directly because staring at the sun hurts one's eyes, she felt the tiny pinprick of another Dark Mirror senshi nearby. As it came closer, she could then tell that it was a basic Dark Mirror. She considered staying where she was for a bit, looking at the great sunset and just enjoying the nice weather, but since it was one that she didn't recognize, she sighed. Probably better to introduce herself now rather than later. She slowly got up, taking a quick look at the sunset once more, before she headed in the direction of the other. However she did it a bit slowly, as she didn't want to go too far into the city if they weren't close enough for her. As much as she thought they should be a united force, she still considered herself a lone wolf most of the time. She got close enough, and could tell that the senshi was hiding in the shadows. Something she would have done if she cared tonight, but she didn't. Then again, it wasn't very likely that a lot of people would see her on the roof anyway. After making sure she could make the landing, she jumped down from the building, about 15 feet away from the senshi, so as to not startle them too much. She quickly got up, and gave them a small wave. "Hey, I'm Mithra. I sensed you and thought I should introduce myself since we're both Dark Mirror senshi."

He'd felt them when they'd started to come closer, but he couldn't figure it out. He was still new to this whole dark mirror thing, and was mostly trying to teach himself. He wasn't much for working with others, he didn't like letting people get too close to him, so it took him some time before he figured out that the signature's owner was friendly - not some enemy.
Once he'd figured that out he didn't mind wandering still, and feeling them get closer, he wasn't worried. They were the same...right?
When he heard a thud, sounding like someone fell onto the ground, behind him he turned around and stared for a moment. Ok...well that outfit was interesting and they were female, none of which was expected nor unexpected. He'd really had no expectations to be honest...just another like himself.
"Melpomene...and it's good to meet you." Well...sort of good, he really didn't care to make friends...though he did need to learn more still. How to learn things and not get close to people, or make friends, that was the issue for him/

Not too bad. Seems to be okay by himself. That's always good. Mithra thought as she looked at him. "Melpomene... that's a bit of a mouthful, but we don't get to choose our names now do we? I'm sure I'll learn it soon enough." She was good enough with names. And this guy had a unique outfit to boot. Reminded her of some Alice in Wonderland Queen of Hearts stuff or whatever. "It's always good to meet another Dark Mirror senshi. I feel like we're a bit too few and far between. And I know I haven't met everyone, so... glad to see someone else, whether they're new or not." She of course didn't know how long he had been with the Dark Mirror. They really should just have a giant meeting where everyone needed to attend just to be able to know who was there. "If you don't mind me asking, what's your sphere? I have mantis shrimp, which really just means I pack a big punch." She said, curling her right hand into a fist and punching the air to the side a bit. She truly did love her sphere. It was perfect for her.

"It is a bit long." He knew his name was long, how could he not? But, as she said, he didn't get a choice in the name either. It was what it was and he just had to live with it, as did anyone else who might try and call him by it.
"I've seen others...at one small gathering." At least he assumed it was small, though maybe it wasn't? He didn't know how many other dark mirror senshi there were, and he honestly didn't care to know. It wasn't that he didn't care in a rude sort of sense...he just wasn't much for groups and being around others, he never really had been.
"I am somewhat new." At least he assume so, he certainly felt new, but who knows if anyone else had joined after he had...he certainly didn't know.
"Bleeding hearts - and I don't know what it does." Seeing as he'd yet to use any magic, though he knew he had it, there hadn't been a reason or need for it. Eventually he was sure there would be - just not yet.

Mithra shrugged her shoulders. "You could always go by a nickname if you want." She wouldn't suggest any, just in case the other senshi wasn't keen on having one. Some people liked them, some didn't, and she didn't want to offend him. From the conversation they were having though, either the other didn't really want to talk, or just regularly spoke in short sentences to answer questions. Unfortunately Mithra couldn't read minds, so if he wanted to be left alone, he would need to indicate it in a more obvious way. "New and don't know what your powers do? Well if you ever want to practice, I have a space set up in the Mirrorspace that allows attacks on training dummies if you want to try it out without hurting anyone." They had been quite a god-send for her. As much as she wanted to try her powered punches on others, she could only practice them on her training dummies. And she had already ruined quite a few of them.

"That would be easier for everyone, myself included." It really would be easier to find some way to shorten his name, as it was a mouthful. Not only that but pronouncing it might be an issue for some people? At least he thought it could be for some.
"That might be a good idea. I don't want to hurt anyone." Since he hadn't a clue what his magic could, or would, do he would prefer something like that in all honesty. Plus it would allow him to perhaps train on his own as well, which was honestly his preferred method to doing most things.
"I've only been to mirrorspace once." When he'd been awakened. He hadn't gone on his own, not seeing the point in it, plus he was limited on when he could get out and for how long at night. "I would like to see this practice area you have set up...it would be useful." And some help, at least for now, would be a good idea. As much as he didn't like working with others, didn't want to get too close to others, it was perhaps a need at the moment...till he could stand on his own two feet.

Mithra thought a bit about what possible nicknames that Melpomene could have. "Well... there's Mel, though that might be taken. Pome," She shrugged after saying that one, just to show that she was throwing it out there, "Mene, Melpo... I don't know. Of course, you could always go with something completely different too! At least you'll have a choice in the nickname that you want." Which was nice, as they didn't get to choose their names or their outfits. But Mithra was pretty lucky in regard to both of those things. She grinned at him. "Sounds good! We should set up a time then. I can show you what I have in it and what you can use to practice. If you don't feel comfortable moving through the mirrospace yet, I can go with you when you want to practice. And there's plenty of space for two so I don't have to be watching or waiting for you to finish." She had started to use it more than the gym itself. Well, it was time for her to get going. She needed to go and grab some energy! She wasn't sure if the other senshi would want to come though. "It was great to meet you, as it always is with other Dark Mirror senshi, but I have to get going and collecting energy. If you want, you can send me a message through the mirrors about meeting to go to my training room. If you want though, you can help me with energy draining tonight. Otherwise, I'll be on my way and we can meet at some later point!"She didn't believe he would really accept her offer. He had a 'lone wolf' vibe to him, but that was okay. Sometimes people just wanted to be alone and she would respect that. But she herself would be out on the hunt tonight, and woe be any man who she caught harassing some poor girl walking away from her job tonight. Sleet Tempest Snape All right, ending post from me.
