Exiting the back of the gentlemen's club was always its own treck. Or potential train wreck. Now and then some chump with a camera would be lurking about, aware of the rumors that Lydia Feardorcha's baby girl was turning tricks on the stage of Call Carmen as Crystal Viper. But the big bucks came from her family's wallets to keep such things as just such, Internet click bait and snide whispers between wine sips. The big burly security staff and bouncers that watched the doors helped considerably as well.
Felicity blew a kiss at one hunk with killer blue eyes as she stepped out, pulling her dark coat tighter around her frame. "Thank you, Caleb," she purred, wiggling her long nails at him in a ditsy wave. "See you tomorrow night, darling." She enjoyed her job, even if she got out at stupid hours. The money was fabulous, as was being adored by clients and frequent patrons. It was just fun.
A leather bag was slung over her shoulder, stuffed with her high heels, costume, and a few other bits. The grey flats that hit the sidewalk were a nice relief and switch to what she had on all shift, a simple little number consisting of dark skinny jeans and a frilly pink top mostly hidden under a long dark coat. Not that the warm evening needed it, but hey. It was comfortable. At least until she got to her apartment, not minding walking the creepy morning hours with how brightly lit that part of the city still was. Ok the alleys were even worse and full-on freaky, but she stayed away from those, making sure to keep her head held high and not glance over if she heard anything weird.
Just... ugh. No. She didn't want to be part of some horror flick, no thanks. It was sort of why she dressed down. Kinda. If someone saw the brands and cuts, and the bits of gold that glinted off her fingers, wrists, ears, throat... well. It was dressed down for Felicity.
Plus, she did have a taser in her pocket she wasn't against using, reminding herself of this as she kept close to the road as she walked past a small group of guys who gave her various different looks, whistles, and commentary that had her lips pursing and fingers looping around the device. Kinda... hoping someone would give her an excuse.

Newly minted Captain Harmotome was thrilled to exercise her upgraded powers. Faster, stronger, and teleportation. Oh, and her fork upgraded into a short spear. That was bitchin'. She hadn't found much uses for it just yet though, since she preferred her fists and boots for the time being, especially in light of the strength boost. In fact...her usual routine of riling up a few guys to try to fight her had become somewhat dull, so she was starting to look for bigger groups--- And that's how she would cross paths with one Felicity Feardorcha this evening. The captain grinned as she dropped down from the rooftop into the alleyway behind the group of men who were obviously distracted by something. It was okay. They'd be focused on her soon enough. " Yo!" Harmotome boomed as she reached out to grab the first guy by the belt and the back of his shirt. Her voice startled them, and if that didn't quite get them, the sounds of one of their friends squealing as he was lifted into the air did. Harmtome threw him as hard as she could, and the man went sailing threw the air and out of the alleyway. There was a stunned moment of silence, in which the loud thud of the body hitting the ground and the grown was heard. Then everyone came to their senses and turned on the captain. Her grin widened, and she fell into stance as some of them rushed her.

The taser was kinda just there as a threat, never having to actually use it before. Threats were usually enough. But it could work, in concept. That there were creeps hooting at her and giving her looks that made her eyes roll and skin crawl--it was a different story when they paid for the right to be disgusting--only added to her urgency to be home and away from this annoyance. That's all it usually was. Annoyances. Never a real threat...
...but she wasn't going to object to anyone being her superhero.
The loud booming "Yo!" had Felicity jumping mid-step, clutching the taser tighter as she spun part way to stare at the alley, thinking for a moment one of the guys was trying something funny. But well. It wasn't quite one of them doing the sort of funny bit. One of the guys got yanked back--Felicity couldn't really see it from where she was, but she could hear it--and she watched in muted amazement as one of the guys went... flying.
Holy crap!
Gaping, she could only stare as the rest of the gaggle of punks charged at whoever her would-be hero was, and briefly, she thought she saw a flash of something dark lingering in the alley. Her bag was held close to her body as she ran towards the somewhat safety of the wall of one of the buildings outlining the alley, trying to peek into the alley to watch the fight more intently.
"Be careful!" One against all them? Was that actually a fair fight? Should she offer the taser..?

Harmotome's brows briefly knitted as she heard a feminine voice call out. Huh. She hadn't seen anyone else, but maybe the girl was hidden from view currently. She snorted. Like she needed to be careful. The first guy came at her, trying to grab her, and the captain grabbed him instead. He seemed very surprised at the ease with which she pulled the maneuver. The next few minutes were filled with the sounds of a fight. A rather one sided one. Shouts, groans, a few sounds of bones cracking, screams, and then some thuds before silence fell. The captain came strolling out of the alleyway, tossing up a handful of starseeds in one hand before catching them. She made a beeline for that one guy she had thrown first outside of the alleyway. The pansy a** was still on the ground like a baby, and Harmotome paused above him, closing her fist around the starseeds as she stared down at him. She grinned as the man tried to get up. "Oh, no, do not bother now." A boot came out to pin him back to the ground by his shoulder. "I vill take my prize." She thrust her freehand into his chest, unflinching at the shrill sound the man made, and then yanked his starseed. She hummed a bit to herself as she added the glowing stone to her collection and looked it over. Very nice. Kind of exciting, but she needed something better. Next time! The captain looked up then, and immediately zeroed in on the other girl standing there. Oh. Right. There had been a voice there...this must have been who it belonged to. She was contemplative as she stared at Felicity. Usually she wasn't supposed to be seen but...the girl wasn't doing anything either, except walking on the sidewalk...and it wasn't in her code to just yank from someone minding their own. "You go on home." Harmtome told her.

"Holy s**t... must be an MMA fighter," she breathed, staring wide-eyed at the scene that began to unfold. One by one the rather tiny fighter sent the guys flying and crashing to the ground. Breaking bones, breaking hearts, god.
Not that she was aware of how nearly literal the latter was, if one considered the heart also the human soul.
Felicity didn't move as the chick--ohmaigawd!--strutted her way out of the alleyway tossing around gems. Where did those come from? She saw she picked them up from the guys, but hadn't been able to tell much more than that. Were they holding them in like their pockets or something? Was this some gang-related stuff? Seemed like it, as the chick kept the guy she'd sent flying before pinned to the ground to grab... whoa what?
Her eyes went wider than maybe was good as the hand vanished into the guy's chest. His shriek made her flinch slightly, but she couldn't look away. Oh was it worth it though. The gem popped out of him, glowing a bit in her grasp. Like the other gems. Were they from... the other guys? What were they? They were so pretty. Was she going to make jewelry out of them? If not, she should. They were amazing.
When the fighter turned and caught sight of her, Felicity stood perfectly still, almost afraid to breath--not for her safety. Far from it. She'd done nothing after all, and well... that was... that was...! "That was amazing," came her awed voice, full of wonder and amazement. With her coat wrapped tight around her still, she took a few steps forward, looking between the gems in her hand and the guys... passed out? "You're so... badass, ohmaigawd. I've never seen anyone do anything like this before." Did it occur to her to check their pulses, make sure they were breathing, call 9-1-1? Nah. Wasn't her problem. They were the ones being creeps to her.
"Where did you learn to do that?"

For a brief moment, Harmotome seemed taken aback that this girl was really awed by her. She felt like she'd been a cheetoh errand b***h for so long and dealing with trash to clean up that she hadn't received any admiration in a long while. The surprise lasted for all of three seconds before she was soaking it up. She grinned. "It vas nothing too special." The captain replied. "A little on the easy side. I need something more challenging next time. More people." She pocketed the starseeds, and then rested her fists on her hips as she regarded the other since she was closer now. She briefly himmed and hawwed at the question. There was supposed to be some tact when talking about the Negaverse yadda yadda but she was nothing but upfront. Besides...if this girl was interested, and continued to be so...then she was a good candidate? Maybe? That was something that was stressed. Always be on the look out for more. Plus Pyrophanite was rubbing it in that Stillwaterite had gotten a lieutenant first and she and Carnotite hadn't so... "Vell, I am trained in the style of Muy Thai, but my strength and speed is boosted by the organization I am apart of. You might have heard about it on the news, ya?"
