Although she hadn't planned on powering up this night, Mithra had to when yet another stupid guy had decided to hit on her and unfortunately her boyfriend wasn't with her to make the guy back off. She didn't really care if she could be seen next to the guy's slumped body in the park, her wraith happily draining energy from the guy's unconscious body. He deserved it and maybe if someone saw her, it would either make other guys think twice about what they did to women, or she would be seen and the media would blame it on the White Moon. Win-win for her either way.

She really wasn't paying attention to her surroundings, until she felt the familiar aura of a white moon senshi nearby. It was a basic according to the aura that she was feeling, so hopefully they wouldn't be dumb enough to challenge her and try to interrupt her energy draining. She really didn't need that sort of distraction tonight. Not that she was really doing anything in particular, but she had just beaten up someone for the night, she didn't need to do it again.

Especially when she was just trying to enjoy the nice night out. It wouldn't be long until the night was as hot as the daytime during the summer, which was still nice compared to winter, but still, the temperature was just perfect right now.

Phaethon was trying to be more proactive about this whole "senshi" thing, sticking to low roofs and balconies to give himself a better vantage point with which to look around. Nothing was terribly exciting, which he wasn't sure if he was disappointed over or not. On the one hand, a boring night meant one that he didn't spend trying to fight or run away from youma, nor would he be running into any of the senshi and knights from the enemy faction. Factions?

He took a deep breath, getting to his feet from one of the balconies he'd been sitting on. Factions, he was pretty sure. He was almost certain there were multiple enemy factions. He would need to find someone to ask for sure, he supposed, as he eyeballed the distance from the balcony to the fire escape of the adjacent building. Phaethon debated if he could make the jump. He was high enough up that falling would probably end up in an emergency room visit for a broken ankle at the very least. If he was particularly unlucky, a broken leg or arm, as well. Well, only one way to check, he supposed, because he really didn't relish the idea of climbing all the way back down to the ground. Coiling his legs under him, he made the jump.

And stuck it! Hands grabbing on to the fire escape ladder, Phaethon winced a bit at the clanging noise of the ladder rattling in its supports in response to his weight hitting it. Figuring he better be out of sight in case anyone came to investigate, Phaethon scaled the fire escape for the roof. Once on the roof, he took a moment to catch his breath and listen for signs that he'd been heard or seen. So far, he hadn't heard any voices wondering what all the commotion outside was about, so that was a win in his book, as far as he was concerned. The building he was on was not a particularly small one, one of the larger high-rises, and he made his way to the other side of it.

It was when he got to the other side that he felt an unpleasant crawly feeling wash over him. Shuddering and rubbing at his arms in an attempt to make it go away, Phaethon turned his head to look in the direction that the feeling had come from. He was not pleased to notice that it was the park. The park was dimly lit this time of night, and Phaethon was fairly attached to his kidneys and lungs. However, he knew what the crawly feeling meant, even if it wasn't a strong wash, and he made his way towards the trees and fence.

Arriving at the park, his one regret was that it was hard to stay elevated once he left the comparative protection of the buildings. It was also hard to shake the feeling of walking into a trap when he walked through the front gates and started down the paths. Belatedly, he moved to walk through the trees instead. He tried to reason with himself that he was being irrational. Why would it feel like he was walking into a trap? There was no evidence that anything was actually even happening down this way--

Oh.

Oh.

Phaethon rounded a corner following the path, and then saw the back of someone he didn't recognize. Not that that was hard, as he knew essentially no one except for a couple other people, but at any rate he didn't recognize the person in front of him, whose back was to him. ... They were also near someone who looked unconscious. It occurred to him that he could attack them, but in the next heartbeat he reminded himself how very bad of an idea that would be. He didn't even have any rocks, for one thing. He thought about turning around and leaving, maybe sending out a message to let other people know she was here, but something told him that it was a bit too late for that now.

...Could he help the person?

...Would that person let him help the person?

'Please don't fight me...'.

Mithra grumbled to herself as she felt the aura draw closer. Of course they would. She thought to herself, as she continued to watch her wraith drain energy. When the aura stopped coming closer, she turned her head around, and saw the senshi that had come. It was hard not to miss them, or at least most of them. Her outfit may have had some bright colors, but it still had a lot of darkness which made it easier to blend into the darkness. Or at least it made it easier than White Moon senshi outfits, especially this one as he seemed to be wearing nothing but white.

She rolled her eyes and said loud enough for the other senshi to hear, "He isn't dead. Just unconscious." And it was at that moment that her wraith stopped draining, and she dismissed it, glad that she was finally done draining her victim. She really hoped that when she became an eternal that it would go at least a bit faster. The man's body slumped a bit more, but she didn't really care. He had deserved it.

Now she fully faced the senshi, arms crossed, wondering what a little basic was trying to do here. "Don't you think that you're a little underpowered to be facing me?"

Well, unconscious was sure as hell a lot better than dead. A knot in Phaethon's gut eased when she said that, though he visibly winced when the man's body slumped over more. He wasn't sure his ability actually worked to reverse unconsciousness or anything. He could make people feel better, he was pretty sure, but he wasn't sure if they had to be conscious or not. And how could you actually "feel better" anyway if you weren't actually injured? He tried to keep his eyes on her, concluding intuitively that she was probably not very friendly, but they still kept going back to the unconscious man. He took a step forward but hesitated halfway through, a false start, when she continued.

"I'm not planning on fighting you." His voice was more confident than he felt, that was for sure. "Not unless you make me." Another step forward that, this time, he completed. What went unspoken was a repeat of the silent prayer from before, the 'please, don't fight me'. "...If he's not hurt, can we at least get him off of the ground and on a park bench or something?" A pause. "Can I get him off the ground?" as he realized that she probably wasn't very keen on the idea of helping if she was going to drain his energy in the first place. As much as he had said he wasn't planning on fighting her--he was at the very least outmatched in experience and his gut told him it went further than that--his entire body was tense as he came closer again. His fingers had reflexively curled against his palms in loose fists, and Phaethon kept her in sight as much as he could. With his focus divided, the real only way to track her was the bright pops of colour in his periphery.

That being said, he did keep glancing at her. A not-insignificant part of him half-expected her to attack him anyway. She had warned, him after all.

Mithra smirked at him. While he tried to exude confidence, she could still tell that he was quite nervous. Good. He should be. She thought as she saw him practically inch closer, though he was taking steps. They just seemed incredibly slow. She stepped away from the body and shrugged, holding her hands up. "You can do what you want with him. Though he really doesn't deserve it. Sometimes men don't understand what 'no' means it seems." She replied. Maybe the senshi would learn not to do that, if he was doing it as a civilian. She knew he could become a civilian, just like her.

She wondered if she should go behind him, freak him out a bit more. It was slightly fun to watch the senshi's nervousness, but she knew that she used to be a basic too and how annoying it was to go up against an opponent that out-matched you.

She decided to keep to his side, for now. Perhaps if she did decide to attack, which was unlucky since she didn't like to fight non-a-holes who weren't up for a fight or those who attacked her first, then he might see her with his peripheral vision. She decided however, to engage in a bit of conversation. "What's a little senshi like you doing out here by yourself?" She made sure to continue to mention that he was alone, in case he decided to try to do something dumb, like attack her.

Phaethon had no real inclination to attack her. He was already quite freaked out, unwilling to take his eyes off of her even when she moved away from the fallen man. He instinctively moved closer to the man when she moved away from him. He did have to admit, however, that her response about what kind of man he was gave Phaethon pause. There was a brief thought that, honestly, the man wasn't going to die. Would it be so bad to leave him there? It wasn't like he was in danger of imminent death or anything, right? If the other was telling the truth, it would quite frankly suit him right.

And so, he hesitated.

Phaethon glanced between the man and her, at least to the point that he could even see her. It was hard to pick out her form in the shadows, and he was certainly trying. Speaking of trying, he crouched down to try and drag the man towards a bench and, failing that, began to roll him awkwardly in that direction. At her question, he glanced at her for a quick second, then back to rolling the unconscious man.

"I'm just... around, I guess. Looking around." What did she expect him to say? He was out making sure what she was doing wasn't happening to innocent people who couldn't defend themselves. Of course, if she was telling the truth, the man he was shoving towards a bench wasn't exactly innocent... He sighed, perhaps a bit too audibly. "What do you want? Why are you still here?"

Mithra raised an eyebrow as she watched the senshi struggling to move the unconscious man. It seemed that this senshi, even with their enhanced strength, didn't get that much when one was a basic. Which made her wonder how much strength they did have compared to the average person, and how much it actually went up. Though the only way to test that now would be getting a basic Dark Mirror senshi or a basic White Moon senshi, the latter of which would be much harder to find. She didn't often run into White Moon senshi who were wanting to just talk.

Eventually however, the senshi stopped moving the man, and answered her question. Well, can't really expect much more than that. She thought as she pondered her response. She didn't really know why she was still there either. She supposed it was to make sure that the senshi didn't go and attack her. She shrugged her shoulders. "I suppose to keep an eye on you for a bit." She stayed there for only a moment longer and sighed. "It seems that you have the 'situation' under control, so I'll be taking my leave. I have plenty of energy now anyway. And I got to punch a jerk." She said, smirking at the other senshi before turning around and sprinting away, making sure that she couldn't even feel his aura anymore before powering down and heading off towards her apartment.
