Nora had finished the newest paperwork in her wonderful new glitter BLUE pen that was named Steel Blue and she felt it appropriate because her bosses name is Steele and her pen was steel blue and SURELY HE WOULD SEE THE BENEFIT OF HAVING DOCUMENTS IN SUCH A WONDERFUL COLOR.
Plus he had barred her from pink and purple and violet and even INDIGO. She felt very deprived and called out by her boss.
"Sir!" She bounced into the room, actually dress professionally for once beyond her jeans and sweatshirt and sneakers. Mason said she looked like a business mom or something like that, she was even wearing the fake glasses and stuff too! She was trying to be as professional as possible now.

The door to Steele's office was open, not by choice. He had shut it, very deliberately, when he'd come in that morning, and was relatively sure that he had locked it, but somehow it was open, and somehow there was a stack of new files on his desk, and somehow they were all written in violently blue ink that had a bit of sparkle to them.
Steele was still staring at them when Nora flounced in.
"Yes?" he said, hastily snatching his own reading glasses off of his nose before she could see them or comment (he was not getting old, he was not becoming middle aged, plenty of people had reading glasses), looking at her with a sort of wearied exasperation.
"Did you put these papers on my desk?"
