"Trust me, darling, if he was taking you out here, he wasn't all that into you anyways." The bored drawl came from a brightly lit Lieutenant, rolling two of her three eyes as the one on her forehead remained firmly shut. She didn't feel like seeing the strange electrical forms of wires under the ground, or the electrical pulses slowing in her targets' bodies. They would still exist, at least, as all she was doing was taking some energy.

Now, if she'd taken their starseeds... that might be another thing then entirely.

The man was already slumped in the alley, groaning and passed out, a few good bruises already forming on his neck, cheek, and at his ribs beneath the cheap vest and button up. She'd caught the two... lovebirds, she supposed, as they exited an equally cheap and tacky wannabe Italian restaurant that was better known as a place to bring a date you had more interest in screwing rather than getting to know. Cheap, quick, giving some vague impression you cared. She was doing this chick a favor, Carnotite thought to herself. The woman she now funneled energy from, one arm twisted behind her back easily to keep her in place, had actually spent time dolling herself up, had on what were clearly nice new clothes she'd likely bought that day, new shoes, spent real time on her makeup...

She looked fabulous, and the half-youma had stated as much, admiring her brown curls as she pulled energy from her body and let it swirl in her hand in a larger and larger ball. "Don't worry, I'll take far less from you than I did your... date. He's cheap, sweetheart, best to not waste your time on the likes of that sort of guy. You can certainly do better."

The woman whimpered, unable to really fight back or respond as her knees wobbled and Carnotite helped to ease her down carefully to the ground. A p***k at her senses and the agent frowned. Senshi, great. Just what she needed right now...

Encke was beginning to pick up on what felt off about certain Chaos auras.

He had run into at least a few partial monsters, by now. Corruptions of humanity that the Negaverse had created, for whatever reason Encke didn't really know. Something felt ... strange about the aura. It felt darker, in a way. Less chances for light. It weighed on him, and as much as the sight of any of the monstrosities disturbed him, he knew he had to pursue them.

If anything, they were likely more dangerous.

He hadn't been expecting to spot who he did spot, though.

Her face was familiar. Her form was familiar. She had the crown of light bulbs above her head, eyes glowing as ever. She looked like a walking street lamp. He had seen her before, during the Invasion of the Negaverse several months ago. They had fought.

He was stronger now.

Encke wasn't sure if she was, but it didn't matter. She was a threat. She was surrounded by two civilians who were on the ground, so Encke knew she was an active threat, on top of that.

He ran at her.

This one was too bright. The sensation of the energy closing in fast made Carnotite feel sick to her stomach, and her face scrunched up slightly in discomfort. Too sweet, too bright, too... good.

Finishing draining more of the energy from the woman, the half-youma eased her to the wall gently. "Alright, all done. Thank you for your patronage, darling, I'll just get you a cab-- <******** curse dropped with a hiss, her three eyes open and staring at the bright form that dropped down into the alley with them. Him? She seethed, recalling the senshi from Negaspace. But he was.... well, his uniform looked a little different, and he had markings on him now. The hell?

"Think you took glow bug a bit too far," she sneered, before jerking back as the senshi charged at her.

Yelping at his speed--what the hell--Carnotite brought her hands up fast, letting loose an electrical blast as she swung up her forearms to try and block his assault in turn.

Quote:

A joke shock buzzing handshake from Carnotite is the least of your worries when you make physical contact with her. Though Carnotite does run a bit on the warm side naturally now, all that extra juice running through her systems can be far too easily condensed into her hands, feet... really anywhere across her body. Focusing this electrical charge at any point on her body, she can deliver a wallop of a shock to another body, even through clothing--hers, or theirs. The shock itself is comparable to a strong shock from static electricity--strong enough to make you jump and hurt the region for a while, but nothing to cause remote permanent damage. Carnotite requires 60 seconds to recollect her energy to use this charge again, and is capable of doing this three times a day.

Encke smirked a bit when she remarked that he took glow bug a bit too far -- he thought he had taken it just far enough, actually -- and barreled into her at full speed.

Fortunately for him, getting constantly shocked by his own attack made him expect the sensation of shocks perhaps a little better than the average senshi -- and even better than the average super senshi -- but it didn't exactly stop him from jumping back. Having electrical powers and being used to the shocks didn't necessarily stop him from reacting to them.

He shuddered bodily.

"Nah, Bulb Girl, think I'm good. At least I don't have literal light bulbs on my head."

Seriously, what the hell monstrosity did the Negaverse turn her into that she had literal light bulbs on her head? What was she supposed to be, a lamp? Did they intend to use her as a lamp in some general's office?

They were letting her out and about, so he supposed that wasn't it.

He readied himself for another attack.

s**t. Sure, he'd reacted to her electrical shock, but he hadn't reacted much. He felt stronger than before, looked a bit different at that. Her arms ached where he'd slammed into her, having stumbled back a handful of steps in the process, unable to withstand the brutal ********. Her three eyes narrowed and the air around her crackled with electricity as her hair lifted a bit with the static. "No, someone just turned you into a Light Brite project, that's all." Why the hell did he have those markings on him? Why did they glow? They couldn't merge with youma, so what excuse did senshi have to look so... weird?

She was painfully aware of the power levels though, even as she boldly charged forward at him this time, lashing out with boots and fists. Needed to recharge a bit before she could try to electrocute him again, but what if it still didn't do jack against him..?

Light Brite?

Encke snorted. He guess that did sort of suit the transcendence glowing. Not entirely, because he didn't really have any fun drawings on his skin, but he did have glowing patterns against what had just been a plain background before--

He pulled his mind away from a vision of himself as a board with pegs being gradually added so he could actually react to the fact that she was charging him back. When she decided to lash at him, Encke tried to dodge some of her strikes, part-way succeeding. She was still making some hits, and he winced accordingly, but he had his mind on something which prevented him from taking any kind of strategic retreat.

He needed to be close by...

He moved to grab at her leg when she lifted it to kick him, deciding to try and pull her off her feet and onto the ground.

If she'd any idea how easily distracted he could be, she'd have tried to keep up the different mental pictures of what his weird markings made him look like. Alas.

Though she landed some hits, she knew better than to be cocky about that, gritting her teeth and trying to start backing up to catch her breath a little and perhaps consider her next option. But the b*****d caught her leg as she went to land a final kick for the time being, and she let out a shriek as he gave a yank, throwing off her balance and causing her to tumble to the alleyway with a grunt. Furious, she sent out another electrical charge through her leg at him while trying to free herself. "Release me!"

Ha, success--

Ouch. Encke winced as he felt electricity course through her into his arm, causing his arm to shake and twitch uncomfortably. He attempted to keep his grip on her leg, trying to dig his nails in even as his fingers jerked and shook uncomfortably.

He couldn't keep holding this, and he knew it.

Encke took a quick second to evaluate his surroundings. The civilians were nearby, but they were unconscious, so at the very least they wouldn't feel anything. He had a path to escape, if he needed to. She likely did too, but that was fine, so long as she left the vicinity...

Considering he had no interest in being a murderer--

His fingers jerked and he dropped her leg, and in a rush he exclaimed, "Full Ionization!"

Kaefaux
"Full Ionization!" - The closer a plasma gets to becoming fully ionized, the hotter the plasma becomes. This is essentially the same attack as his first one, except the burning has become more prominent. This ionized 'air' is hot, and along with the shocks, this attack now has the potential to cause damaging burns.
(Uses: Twice per battle.
Duration: 30 seconds
Range: 10ft radius around target
Weaknesses: This attack does not really discriminate. While it does not affect him as badly this time (it seems he has developed a resistance of sorts), if Encke is within the ten foot radius, he will also feel the shocks and begin to burn.

"b*****d!" Her scream echoed with curses and shrieks. For a moment, Carnotite hadn't noticed the shift in the air. With her, it was always crackling with some sort of energy, some sort of little bits of static or something. But it wasn't the usual white or yellow sparks that were hers. It wasn't her power. It was forgein, alien.

The blue-purple sparks struck her skin and seared her senses, pulsing her body with an influx of energy beyond what she was used to conducting in her form. Electricity hadn't hurt this much since she merged with the glowing wonder that had chosen her. Using both her legs, Carnotite kicked towards the senshi's gut, trying to push herself away from him before scrambling to her feet.

The skin along her arms above the metal, her cheeks, legs... was all red, angry and spots were small burns were forming from the sparks. She would live, that much was clear, but she was in pain and furious. "I'll make sure you regret that," she whispered, voice icy as she darted back up the alley. To flee, she had to, but not before she dipped down to slide her hand into the man's chest, ripping out his starseed as she went. "Seeing as I need a little healing aid now, thanks to you," she called, suggesting she might yet devour the starseed. Not that she intended to, but as if she'd let him know that.

So Carnotite ran, pissed off and hurting, till she could return to Negaspace and try to clean herself up, lick her wounds. She'd be remembering this b*****d still, she knew that much for sure...

He may have gotten used to it, but he definitely was not immune from it. Encke cringed, taking a few steps back in an attempt to get himself out of the radius. He was assisted by the sudden kick in his gut, causing him to keel in a bit as he felt a shock smash against his back.

But she was retreating, and that would be enough--

No.

No.

Encke saw her hand dip into the man's chest, a sparkling starseed emerging from it and into her hand. He knew what that meant. The man was dead, and not only that, it would be used to heal this monster--

"Mierda."

He took off after her, dashing further into the alley.

Where the ******** did she go?

He was fast, and he knew he was both from training and from abilities, but she was missing. Had she teleported? That was perfectly possible, she was a member of the Negaverse. Had she gone back to being a civilian herself? Could half-monsters even do that? He knew they all had powered forms of some sort, but he didn't know anything of outside lives of the monstrosities that the Negaverse had created. Did they have any?

... Honestly, all that nonsense didn't matter.

It didn't matter.

She was gone.

There would be no saving the man, tonight. The woman would likely wake up and find that her partner had died of mysterious circumstances, victim to some strange lady with lights in her eyes and lights on her head. He had failed.

It didn't really matter if he chased her away if he hadn't managed to chase her away from the civilian.

Encke fell to his knees.

His heart burned.
