The trick with teleporting was that you had to know the area to do it, so Stillwaterite spent a lot of her time just exploring. To her, knowing the terrain to be able to teleport anywhere was worth it. Plus, it was just nice to traverse the urban environment, and she was getting an appreciation for the act, as it was something the Machine was really into!

She hopped from a roof top to a lamp post, and leapt among more for a few moments before she sailed over a fence surrounding one of Destiny City’s many parks. The senshi landed, but as soon as she did, she paused, her gaze sharpening. There was a youma nearby and---

Something was growling. Loud and menacing.

The eternal slowly turned in the direction of it, and came face to face with a rather large and foreboding youma. She hadn’t seen many so far, but this one looked rather intimidating. The canines on that skull could tear flesh asunder for sure if they sunk into her. At this point, she really should have just teleported away, except the youma hadn’t lunged for her yet, and the longer she waited, she could feel another signature approaching. It read just like Pyrophanite’s, actually, and that made her curious.

So she waited.

Maledictus had found a senshi.

She was always finding humans; ones that the pair of them could use to their advantage. A youma just as ruthless as her master and with twice as many teeth, she was the perfect companion; it had felt like fate when he had stumbled across her in the Rift.

Though he really didn't believe in such a mundane, pathetic thing as fate. More like it was a fortuitous moment that he had taken advantage of, and now was reaping the benefits of. It was not an easy thing, for a half youma to subdue a full youma - and yet he had, and this was a thing to be remembered. A thing to be revered.

Wolfeite stepped out of the shadows, black tendrils curling around his arms and legs, almost as if the darkness had settled itself into his bones and become a part of him. In front of him, Maledictus was poised, back rigid, her skull head risen to watch the intruder with a wary sort of distaste, a low, rumbling growl threading through her body.

A senshi, of course. But a corrupted one. Wolfeite's golden eyes narrowed slightly.

"Who are you?"

As the owner of the signature came into sight, Still felt a noticeable shift in the atmosphere. It was tense. The youma of course wasn't helping, but it all stemmed from the appearance of this general. She eyed him, delaying a response for a few moments before replying: "I'm Stillwaterite, or Still, for short. What's your's?" She asked, and nodded her head in the direction of his youma. "And the name of that?" It was obvious it was a personal youma...or else that thing would be tearing her to shreds right now.

But hey...this guy was definitely a half youma. Far different than Pyrophanite, too...not only in appearance but presence as well.

She looked...familiar.

He couldn't quite tell why. Dark brows narrowed over Wolfeite's glowing eyes, the mask up around his face, hiding the lower half quite effectively. Maledictus gave a low growl, head tilted in a pose that indicated a readiness to attack, but Wolfeite merely watched, his ears flat back against his head of tangled hair.

"Wolfeite," he said, after a long moment's consideration. "Have we met before?"

He didn't bother to answer the question she'd asked about his youma's name. It wasn't necessary.

Curiosity had been her primary motivator in meeting this general, but the longer she studied him, especially in the silence that followed, something was clawing it's way to the surface of her memory. It was a series of short flashes. A black uniform with red trim. Aggressiveness, cruelty, brutality and pain. Before she could grab a hold of it, a sudden shot of fear flooded her, just like when she had seen the Machine, the Captain and the General in the stables for the first time. Just like when she had seen Pyrophanite for the first time...

(For the first time in this life?)

Stillwaterite quickly grabbed a hold of it though, and briefly was annoyed that it sprung up on her like that. She didn't have any reason to fear this general, even with his off putting demeanor and rather vicious looking youma. None.

"Not that I can remember in this short lifetime of mine so far." She replied. "I paid the price coming over in memory."

Too much of it.

He was still watching her, eyes narrowed, slits of glowing gold above the mask that hid the rest of his expression from view. Stillwaterite looked familiar in a way that nagged at him; as though she was someone that he should have known, but couldn't quite figure out.

Wolfeite gave a low whistle, slightly muffled. Maledictus sank down into a sitting position instead, though she didn't move from her spot, remaining alert, her head cocked in a wary, mistrustful sort of way. She really was the most satisfying youma that he could have asked for; Wolfeite had a vicious sort of pleasure in knowing that she was his and no one else's.

I paid the price coming over in memory.

Something clicked into place.

"I remember you," said Wolfeite, taking a step closer. "You were an Order brat in shoes too big for her."

His ears had flicked upwards, no longer flattened down, but upright again, his chest doing a sort of exhale of adrenaline, understanding dawning. He could feel the thrill of realization thrumming through his veins, and his gaze swept across her features with unabashed interest.

"Singing a different tune now, are we?" he asked mockingly.

She didn't know why, now, after having been in the Negaverse for a few months, that she was feeling riled by this individual. It had to be a different combination of things bubbling up right now. Those harsh fragments of memories this general dredged up, mixed with this condescending and dismissive attitude, combined with yet another glimpse of her past self that she had no recollection of, yet was seeing from another source once again. It all mixed into a aggravating cocktail, and the cherry on top was this small voice saying do not get involved.

She ignored it.

"The shoes are still the same." The corrupt replied, staying where she was, one hand resting on her hip as she stared back at him. "As is the tune. It's just under a different banner." She couldn't even remember the tune. "And I don't remember you, which has me thinking there wasn't much to note."

Beneath the mask, he was smiling.

Beneath the mask, he had a wide, wicked grin, something feral and sharp, something with too many teeth and a vicious edge to it that was so razor thin that it felt almost tangible, almost visible behind the hard material that covered the lower half of his face.

It was too good to be true. She had been such a nuisance, such a pathetic thing, and now, here she was. Reinvented, new, and on the right side of things, although Wolfeite did not consider himself on a side. He was here for himself alone.

Maledictus gave a low thrum, a growl rippling through her mangy body.

The jibe was caught, noticed, and disregarded, although Wolfeite's eyes flashed dangerously at it. He took a step forward again, reached out, placing a single, clawed finger just beneath Stillwaterite's chin, tilting her head up. The gloves he wore were ragged and torn.

"Don't be cheeky," he said, low and sharply sweet. "My, my. Such bravado you have."

Her eyes cut sharply to the youma as the growl rippled, making sure she suddenly wouldn't lunge for her. They shot back to the General, and she couldn't help but stiffen as he stepped forward. He's worse. A voice softly whispered. She didn't heed it, still.

A frown pulled at her lips as he lifted her chin, and she reached up to grab his wrist. Not sharply, not harshly, but firmly to pull his hand away from her face. "I can be whatever I want, and this isn't a front." She let go of his wrist. "You can drop the patronizing attitude. I'm not below you. I'm your equal."

He backhanded her.

It was a swift movement, both violent and careless simultaneously, an indication that this was something he did repeatedly, without hesitation or regret. The back of his hand connected sharply with Stillwaterite's face; he had dragged his away from her already departing fingers to do so.

After, Wolfeite regarded her calmly, golden eyes glittering, ears flat back against his head of wild, dark hair.

"You will always be below me," he said airily. "Everyone is."

Her head snapped to the side, and the corrupt froze, eyes widening. It wasn't so much the hit itself that surprised (but it did hurt. Oh, did it hurt), it was the fact he had the audacity to hit her. It hurt, it stung, and the pain edged it's way across, but what shot through her was the surprise he had the gall to think he could just hit her like that.

Stillwaterite straightened, and she did not touch her face where he hit her. She could taste some copper in her mouth. "You're a general. I'm an eternal. In the eyes of rank, we're equal." The urge to just reach out and back hand him in return was eating at her, but she resisted. His youma was still there, she was aware, and if she chose to turn on her now, she would be sorely at a disadvantage if she didn't teleport away.

Which is really what she should have done from the get go, but something kept her rooted in place.

"And you don't have the right to touch me like that."

It had been a satisfying blow, though violence was, in Wolfeite's mind, always a satisfying thing when he was the one initiating it, the one distributing it. And there was something extra satisfying about delivering a blow to a senshi he had encountered before, one that had needled under his skin, even if she didn't remember it now.

His gaze flickered across her face, gold and glowing. The ears were still flat back against his hair, dark and tangled as it fell halfway down his back, more wild and feral than it had been in a very long time. He was steadily growing further and further into his youma self; it was buried beneath his chest, spreading through his bones likes roots taking hold.

She had blood on her mouth; he'd split her lip. Wolfeite's grin widened under the mask, and deliberately he reached out, one finger smearing it across her jaw before his grip became sudden and ferocious, latching onto her chin, Wolfeite's face near to hers.

"There is no equality here," he snarled.

What was wrong with this man. No. No, he wasn't a man. He was a beast.

She tried to jerk her head away from his touch as soon as she felt a finger glide across her skin, but it was too late. She gasped, but soon found her teeth gritting. No. No, this would not be tolerated.

"Sail away."

She raised her hand and flicked her fingers at him, in a motion away from herself. Hopefully he didn't know her magic. Hopefully couldn't dodge it when he was right in front of her. She wanted to push him back. To show him he couldn't just do as he pleased because he felt like it. She needed to keep an eye out for the youma, too, who would no doubt be provoked.

Eternal Sailor Attack: Sail Away
Stillwaterite calls out the technique name, and motions her hand either away from herself or towards herself. Her energy comes forth and takes the form of a ship (the size of a pick up truck), and can carry herself and/or target in a linear path a range of 15 feet. This can be used to move herself out of danger, towards someone or something quickly, to get an opponent away from her, or to carry an opponent into something to damage them (like a wall). The force of impact (with a wall / big object) can temporarily stun and knock the wind out of a target. It can be dodged if expected or with quick reflexes, as it travels fast. Can be used once.

The blood was red red red -

Magic burst between them, violent and quick. Wolfeite felt the impact slam him backwards as Stillwaterite careened in the opposite direction, Wolfeite's booted feet skidding on pavement. Maledictus roared out a sound, a snarl ripping from her throat, clattering through her skeletal head, and Wolfeite's back hit a tree, the breath expelled out of him with a gasp.

He staggered forward, lungs heaving, ears pressed back. His ribs felt bruised, along with his chest, rapidly rising and falling in an effort to get air back into it, feeling the pressure of the senshi's magic nearly suffocating him.

A growl tore from him. Wolfeite reached up a clawed hand and snatched at his mask, yanking at the fastenings until it fell to one side, sharp teeth visible as he opened his mouth.

The howl tore from him, echoing, echoing.

Lucyal
Howl - Wolfeite lets out a resounding howl and the force of it causes a sense of paralyzing fear that is stronger the lower ranked you are. For twenty seconds, the opponent will experience any, some, or all of the side effects of abject and complete terror - paralysis, nausea, dizziness, lightheadedness and a stinging pain in the head. This terror will keep them occupied and sometimes unable to move until the magic breaks. The stronger the target, the less effective it is.

She immediately shifted her attention to his youma as she shot the general away. Stillwaterite held her hand out to the creature, intent on using her other magic on it. Her hand froze though, but so did everything else for that matter. She locked up as that howl tore through the air. Tore through her. She was paralyzed. Her chest felt tight, and that shot of fear she felt earlier made a vicious return.

The corrupt tried to tell herself it was due to an ability of his that she felt like this, that she couldn't move, but the logic couldn't cut through the fear at the moment. On top of that she was feeling sick---and black eyes shot towards the General. She hated this feeling. She felt stuck with no way to defend herself while this gripped her. Frozen and an easy target for the General. She willed her limbs to move.
