Realm: Crystal Forest Doggos Involved: Aster (Bluedemonwolf) x Libra (Nymphiea) Time of Day: Daytime Aster was home in the forest just taking a walk. He had recently left the Crystal Forest to explore Terra and boy was he glad to be home. While Terra had seemed nice and he had met another friendly Doggo... it wasn't home. Plus where he ended up was ungodly hot during the day and he needed the cool winter weather that was dominate here at home. He noticed Jackalopes not too far ahead but he wasn't hungry. They also caught his scent being downwind from him and quickly fled the area.
A few small snowflakes began to fall down and Aster looked up to the sky. It was hard to tell with all of the trees but it looked cloudy out. He wondered if was going to snow a lot but didn't think it would. After all the snowflakes were falling only here and there and sometimes it was ten minutes or more before another drifted down.

Libra scrunched her nose as another snowflake gently floated by. Gross. She hated snow; she wasn't good at keeping herself warm and she hated being wet. Rain was a close second hate for her, but snow was cold. Bitterly so. The dark and pink canine flicked her tail in frustration, head snapping to the side as her paws folded over one another. Maybe it was time to realm hop...
Jackalopes scurried by her in a rush, a panicked squeaking following. Her eyes drifted to catch the source, an ear flicking before, with a nervous whine, Libra shifted. Another Doggo. Self consciously, the canine jerked her head onto her paws, hoping he wouldn't notice her. Sometimes she really wished she was closer to a natural color; it'd make camouflage easier.

Aster hadn't gotten too far ahead in the direction of the jackalopes before he heard a noise. It should like a whine and he paused to c**k his head. No other noise came but out of the corner of his eye he saw some pink and black jerk just ahead. Turning his head he spotted the female Doggo not too far from him or where the jackalopes had been. With her head on her paws it almost seemed like the other was trying to hide or just avoid drawing attention to herself. Normally he would have just gone on his way but he had never seen her before, her coloring would have definitely stuck out to him if he had, and he was pretty sure the whine had come from her.
Moving closer but not too close as he didn't want to scare her, Aster sat down before her. He waited a while in quiet to see if she was going to say anything or look at him. He wanted to make sure she was alright. After some time where it was just silent he gave a soft sort of noise like he was lightly clearing his throat. "Ehem."

Libra dreaded the moment he noticed her, and lo and behold it happened. Her head raised, four ears twitching in acknowledgement. Her eyes lingered on his markings, a moment of jealously flickering in her stomach as she stood. As shy as she was, she wasn't rude.
"Hello," She offered, voice soft and raspy. She didn't quite make eye-contact, although her head remained tilted slightly in his direction. Her eyes flicked towards where the jackalopes had fled, the top set of ears flicking back in mild, subdued amusement. "It seems your dinner fled."

Aster immediately noticed the twitching of four ears. He himself only had the two so it took him a moment to realize he shouldn't stare at them. "Hello." He replied in his quiet voice, "Ah. They weren't dinner. I was simply out for a stroll and chanced upon them and you. It seems they don't know the difference of when one is hunting them or not."
He paused for a moment to look her over noting her markings and coloring. Her colors would normally be good to blend in at night or in any dark realms save for the bright pink and purple of her tail and chest fluff. "I'm sorry... where are my manners. My name is Aster. Is this your first time in the Crystal Forest?" He stopped looking at her; he had picked up on her lack of eye-contact and thought that maybe looking at her was making her uncomfortable. Instead he glanced around the area to make sure there was nothing approaching.
