As far as he was concerned, no lands were good enough for them.
Either the dirt was too hard, the water too sour, the winds too fast, or the fact that he just didn't like the area, Prakriti had come to find reason after reason why he and his brother hadn't stayed in one land for too long.
Still, his heart was in want of a home, and in want of staying beside the one lion he trusted to have his back, he walked. Sore paws, dry mouth, and at times an empty belly were unable to keep him from following. As they both walked and searched, his muscles adapted, and he loved realizing when he had pushed himself farther than he had previously. Even when the terrain started to pose a challenge for them, he kept up. He was even, like his brother, feeling excited about what kind of pride would call these lands their home.
Excitement had caused him to rush ahead of his brother and come to stand atop a rocky outcropping. Gazing around the lands, he closed his eyes to take in the scents, the sounds, and the feel. It was exhilarating, and quite literally a breath of fresh air.
When the scent of other lions hit his nose, Prakriti wrinkled it a bit. They couldn't throw caution to the wind here, and it would definitely be in their best interest to stay put until something- or someone- either chased them off or invited them in, or however these lands handled things.
"Hey, there's a boundary." He stated, kneading the dirt beneath his paws in a show of slight impatience.
In fact, he didn't wait at all before he bellowed out the loudest roar he could manage with his throat being as dry as it was.

Purusha was fair more level-headed that usual, considering the harsh conditions it had taken them to get this far. He was never one to complain, and if Prakriti wasn't pleased with a location, then neither was he, without complaint or contradiction.
When the boundary scent came into play, he had been prepared to step forward and make his challenge, shock registering for a moment, only mentally, when his brother took the lead.
He tilted his head to one side, but quickly sat on his haunches and close his eyes, listening for what was sure to be a response to the challenge.
The agitation and impatience he bore, however, was even worse than his brothers', the tension showing in every line of his form as he used every restraint to hold himself back.
His brother had made the challenge, and thus it would be his fight.
His eyes opened wide in an instant.
"Do not lose."

Life had been quite an adventure for the lioness as of late and instead of laying in wait of what might happen next she considered her options. Seek out Zjarri for some chatter or wander around the borders. The borders won, purely by chance, she had been wandering while lost in her own thoughts just long enough to hear something peculiar.

A lone roar.

Silence trailed behind the roar as though it had taken over her hearing causing the world to hush. The crimson lioness didn't hesitate to follow the source of it. The only obvious information for her was that the owner had to absolutely be at the borders. Something about it sang of impatience and desire. Both emotions eminated from those waiting to prove their worth to the pride. Silently she approached the scene with every bit of grace expected. She carried herself like the former Queen she was.

When Sabia arrived she inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly. Her nostrils flared as she determined there were not one, but two opponents she could account for. Though judging by the similar scents they were family - likely one opponent to represent the pair. She didn't hesitate to make herself known, but not with a loud roar to echo the challenge, but by simply making herself visible. Still in silence she rolled her shoulders and encouraged the pelt she wore to settle in a more comfortable position.

"So you'd like to prove yourself to the Storm?" She queried the pair with a light tone and chin raised with pride. Sabia would never say she was undefeated, proving yourself here didn't say there was defeat on the defenders end, only acknowledgment that the other was worthy. So she never feared dueling with newcomers. Not a one. "Will you both challenge?" Her head lowered and piercing, golden eyes framed by the skull mask she rarely removed bore down on them as she waited on a response. Meanwhile her tail lashed back and forth smoothly - like she was anticipating being lunged at. All the tell tale signs of a senior member - if the scattered scars and adornments weren't enough.

"Such faith, I'm flattered." Prakriti chuffed at his twin in jest. It was half an assurance that no one showed up immediately, half...Worrying.

His worry intensified when he saw the figure on the horizon. Yeah, he had to open his big mouth, didn't he? His muscles quivered, but as the lioness didn't leap, neither did he. That was a horrible idea. Clearly, she was far more experienced than he was. He should have left his brother to work their way in.

"Only me." Deciding to instead drop any pretense of violent hostility, Prakriti smiled at her, holding his head high as his tail flicked back and forth.

Purusha eyed the female who met them at the boundary, gaze flicking momentarily over her scars before he spoke.
"Do not disgrace me."
While it could hold true to his brother, his gaze was firmly on the female in their midsts, and the warning was clear; play fair and unnecessary bloodshed would be avoided.
He was well aware that a battle could go awry, but his brother would not die alone if it came to it, and his gaze held the weight of that warning solely on the lioness before them. She was too valuable to be rid of, but it would be done in a rage he could not control.
To say he was overprotective of his brother, though he would deny it, would be entirely accurate.
