This forum is dedicated to information on packs, and actual packs themselves. A pack is a group of Dwellers who share a system of beliefs or way of life and typically are led by an Alpha and have a home base. Packs cannot recruit members until they're approved here, to ensure everyone follows the rules and the pack can run free!
Not all gatherings have to be called packs! You can use the word tribe, herd, clan, etc etc.

 A pack is a collection of Doggos who live amongst one another, sharing a set belief or way of life. Doggos typically have an Alpha (meaning one ruling Doggo), but any other roles are up to the pack to decide. Common roles are;
Alpha: First in command and the one who leads all major decisions
Beta: Second in command and the one who can communicate decisions made and step in when the Alpha needs it
Shaman: A singular or group of characters dedicated to healing
Hunter: A singular or group of characters dedicated to providing food
These are the most basic roles, but a pack can have more or even less!
Packs do not need to occupy a specific realm. They can be nomadic or even lack a home base to speak of, instead letting members wander about as they please. It is up to the Alpha. Realms can be shared, too, and even some packs share the same locations as others (a good example is Solaris and Lunaris, who both share the same grounds but use it at different times).
Packs may have as many restrictions on entering and who they accept as they want. They can limit entry to those with specific powers, those with a certain bloodline — even those with certain colors! It is all up to a pack. Being in one isn't necessary, but it greatly increases the survival of a Doggo within dangerous locations, and can add a benefit to their way of life.

For those joining a pack;
→ First, your Doggo can only be an official member of one pack at a time. You may leave a pack as you see fit, but it'll take 30 days to be allowed into another pack.
→ Make sure you understand what the pack is about. Some packs will also require specific entrance activities, like posting in the pack, sending a request, or even doing a certain RP.
→ To join a pack, you must request admission into a pack.
→ Babies cannot be forced to stay within a pack, however they can be IC repercussions for leaving! Babies joining a pack must also post in THIS thread.
For those making a pack;
→ Please follow TOS and shop rules. While darker and more violent packs are allowed and encouraged, keep in mind our limits.
→ Try and ensure your pack stands apart from others. If you are doing something similar, make sure you have a feature that stands you apart from another clan.
→ Before you can get members, you need to post your finished pack here for approval. If a staff member tells you to change something then you must do so. Any clan recruiting before approval will be removed. This is to ensure everyone fits within the rules without any future issues, so you can run free!
→ If you wish to run an event for your pack that involves pets as prizes, please contact Doggo Realm privately. You will need a significant reason behind the event, and it will be run entirely by you (unless the event triggers a shop-wide historical moment, then staff will collaborate with you.)
