Charybdis was going to be late....very late...in fact he was unsure whether or not they would be upset with him for being late. After the war he realized something, he had a bit more learning about himself to do. He had returned to the village, but practically disappeared for the month after the war. Little to no contact as he figured out exactly what he had done, exactly what had happened during the war. The form he took was pretty frightening to him. He figured a lot of things out over the course of the month.
Of course, after he had gotten himself figured out, almost immediately he was contacted about meeting once more with Thresher and Miyuki. Of course, had it been any earlier he probably would have denied it. Said something about needing to figure things out. But the timing had been perfect, and as he approached the office a weird feeling filled him. He was unsure what it was...but...for now he would simply enter the office.
As he entered he would see Thresher and Miyuki, waiting to be called into the office. His expression showed no shift, as normal. He approached and spoke. "Hello you two." He said to them, still unchanging as always physically. Calm and collected, voice still fairly monotonous, however the two would probably sense the bit of a difference in it. Excitement perhaps? But of course he wouldn't show such uncalm feelings. "It's nice to see you again."

Her Oinin training had made her learn to be a little bit more professional in the last month. But that, nor the power of the world, would stop Thresher from scooping Miyuki up into a big bear hug. “Well ‘ello there, miss sweet thing.” She growled playfully as her lips curled into a fang bearing, teasing smirk. Truth be told, her and Miyuki just saw each other a day or two ago. The artist had been helping Thresher understand shinobi life a little better, after she’d been an outsider for so long.
However, after a long second, Thresher remembered where they were. She blushed bright blue and put Miruki back on her feet, coughing to the side. “Ah, ya, the half pint seems ta be runnin’ late.” What seemed like after the blink of an eye, the devil appeared once they spoke of him.
Charybdis didn’t seem that much different. But Thresher could tell he was just as excited to see them as they were to see him. She had experienced the emotions in his body once before. "Well ‘ey there half pint. ‘Bout time ya showed up; we were about to send a rescue party fer ya.”
After a little bit of time to greet each other, Thresher turned and knocked on the door to Toso’s office. Cheerful reunions and a casual knock on the Arashikage's door created an air of camaraderie outside of it. They would likely know who he was given his far-reaching reputation although it had been quite some time since he set foot in Arashi. Half the resource cost of techniques from the rapier style of Sen Gekiretsu Nagareboshi applied allows the technique to carry the tenketsu sealing effects of a same-rank palm strike such as a B-Rank carrying 64 Palms effects. The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Toso would turn around and walk as if he were some kind of undead. Until he found a place in his chair again. He would hunch over and again fixate himself on the text before him on the desk. 'What' was the first snappy voice she heard when she stepped out of the elevator. Her eyebrow rose at the sight of Toso. Normally, she would be worried but that doesn't seem to be the case. Instead, she was just looking at him and watching. Was this another clone attack? Having retired from her academy job, Nozomi had found herself wanting.. something. She wanted to retire and go home. Yes. Where Kirigakure once was. Reclaim just her lands and screw everything around it. As for the people, she didn't need them. Her hand went into her pocket as she got out a grape-flavored lollipop. Removed the wrapper, she started to suck on the lollipop. There was a line. With a mental roll of her eyes, she plopped onto the seats in the lobby and waited for her turn, rolled the grape lollipop in her mouth.
She started to mentally plan. She had heard rumors that bandits and rogues took over the Kirigakure in certain areas. With a soft smirk, it figured that no one wanted to be that close to Sero except to those that had been around it. It wouldn't surprise her if Kagerou had been tending to the Sero. A ping of jealously came and went. One thing for sure, Nozomi will have her turn in it too. Maybe. She hasn't quite decided. As for the bandits, Nozomi could fight them to spare them and let them go or fight them and have them work under her. A coy smile formed. Anyone watching her would just simply see her sucking on the candy and smiling at the wall.

At the sight of the Kage, Thresher seemed to freeze up. The words had been taken from her throat and she didn’t know quite what to say. Thresher turned to look at Miyuki and Charybdis to gauge their reactions, before clearing her throat. It didn’t even seem that Toso had acknowledged them specifically. Just seeing things before him. The scent of death coming from his office was enough to almost make Thresher hurl. “Well, we’d stopped by fer any extra briefin’ about th’ new mission. Buuuut it looks like yer busy.” The Oinin shifted uncomfortably as other people started to file into the office. A man white eyes that seemed to glow white, and a presence that managed to catch Thresher’s instincts immediately. She recognized him but she wasn’t able to put her finger on where. The next was… Nozomi was it? Thresher had met her once when she’d first joined Arashi.
“So we’re jus’ gonna head out. Bye!” Without much opportunity for a response from anyone, Thresher turned and pointedly walked away, her nervous smile fading into an expression of ‘what the hell was that?’

Miyuki had actually been rather frightened at the Arashikage's disposition. She had initially suspected a genjutsu, then figured it was unlikely that the Arashikage would do that to them and even more unlikely that anyone could break into the Spire and cast one in the kage or on them for entering the kage's space. But she wasn't forced to make any executive decision on how to react, because the famed Captain Kosei - er, that wasn't his title anymore... - arrived and spoke to the kage and Miyuki took solace in the fact that it could be the sannin's responsibility to sort out instead.
And truly, she was unsettled. Thresher seemed put off by it too, but she didn't feel the need to stick around to act, so Miyuki took that as confirmation that they were on the right path. "Um, yeah, we should go... if we see a medic-nin on the way out, we should direct them here." Miyuki was quick on Thresher's tail for their escape.

The words that came from their Kage's form caught Charybdis by a bit of surprise. However it wasn't the unpleasant sort of surprise. A new arrival came and immediately requested his attention while another had appeared and patiently waited it seemed. Charybdis was unsure about the two new arrivals, he didn't know them. Perhaps he should have but he didn't. However this was the first time he had ever seen and spoken to the kage. To others he might have come off as scary, given a sort of frightening aura and unsettling feel while speaking to him. However to Charybdis...this was the first time he had ever truly felt comfortable. Of course, he was calm around Miyuki and Thresher, and generally apathetic. More comfortable with them than anyone else around. He could even so much as feel their unpleasant feelings involving the kage's bit of an aura about him. But it was a different sort of comfort that he felt as the kage spoke.
His two friends were quick to move. They wanted out, and he understood why. He was not oblivious to the situation, he knew a bit of why. However unlike his two friends he was in no rush himself. Perhaps in a rush because they were rushing but not in a rush himself. Instead of immediately turning tail and hauling a** out of the office. Perhaps something that would be expected of him since his friends did the same he would speak to the kage a single line.
Words flooded from his mouth, similar to the way that they had flowed from the kage's mouth. Only also different at the same time. The kage's voice sounded like three radio static distorted voices coming from the depths of the ocean. Charybdis' voice sounded almost like it continuously shifted in pitch, going from very low to impossibly high yet still hearable. Along with sound of the rushing waters of a whirlpool and the noises one would make as they scream while drowning.
Afterwards he would turn tail, and patiently walk out of the office behind Miyuki and Thresher. He would probably need to speak with the kage again at some point. He had a feeling the man could give him some insight about where he came from. He would need to make sure neither he nor his friends died during this expedition.

The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Whenever the blade is swung or thrust over the duration the user can fire a concentrated blast of ten bolts of lightning to accompany the strike equal to the rank applied but for only half the cost to initiate the technique. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Additionally, these lightning bolts can be freely applied to all complex bukijutsu for no action cost to smite enemies. The only action cost is when the technique is activated and all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not consume actions and only chakra. This ability can be used in both forms of Getsuruito.
Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibā ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.

The Hatake's chidori raiton inflicts a tier of full-body paralysis that is equivalent to the technique's rank up to the second tier. This paralysis lasts for two posts per rank of the technique at a maximum of six posts. Applying Chidori chakra to the Juken consumes a second offensive activation. ▱▰▱ Storm Sage | Lightning techniques cast while in sage mode and when enhanced by nature chakra burn brighter and inflict a tier of blindness that is equivalent to the technique's rank. Class Information First Class: Bukijutsu ▱▰▱ Expert: Rapier → The user has achieved a sense of mastery and focus unlike others and are known as an Expert, a dedicated focus over a weapon they use to near perfection. The shinobi can pick a single weapon, or two if dual wielding, to apply this focus toward with examples such as Katana, Spear, Bows or even Dual Daggers. They acquire a Keystone technique that is unique to them with an additional 2 Custom Techniques derived of this special ability. Refer to the Keystone Guideline for more information. They gain a [+1] boost to both speed and agility & techniques cost [5] less Chakra and/or Stamina per rank of the technique when wielding attacks with their specialized weapon in attack or defense. ► Signature Style: Sen Gekiretsu Nagareboshi Second Class: Bukijutsu ▱▰▱ Mystic Hero → The user has become adept at blending their ninjutsu and bukijutsu. It also has a rapier form that was refined from Purity and is entirely constructed from steel with a dark blue handle and basket hilt. The katana and rapier forms are the same size and constructed of the same materials. Getsuruito was considered a legendary artifact by the people of Seizan as it was wielded by an ancient general. When the rusted blade was awarded by the locals to Kenshin Kosei he discovered that it had the unique ability to merge with and empower one other weapon. When the katana was reworked to its fullest potential it had the abilities of his own weapon in addition to incredible lightning abilities. ▰ Ability Summary: Righteous Sword of the Sentinel [ Senchineru no Seigi no Ken ] | Rank E | Bloodline | Spiritual All forms of Hyuuga techniques including the gentle fist can be used through the sword for the 10 posts that this technique is active. This means that strikes involving the blade cause physical damage including stab wounds as well as seal tenketsu points and any other effects of the technique used through the sword. An additional 5 chakra can be applied to the blade to prevent it from causing physical damage from thrusting but instead seal tenketsu points and inflict pain similar to a stab wound in the area struck but slashing attacks can still cause damage. Half the resource cost of techniques from the rapier style of Sen Gekiretsu Nagareboshi applied allows the technique to carry the tenketsu sealing effects of a same-rank palm strike such as a B-Rank carrying 64 Palms effects. Getsuruito must be in its rapier form to use this ability and 5 chakra can be spent upon activation of this technique to transform it as such. The Righteous Sword of the Sentinel technique has a 10 post duration before necessitating re-activation and costs an E-Rank amount of chakra. The initial activation of this technique consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not.
Smiting Blade of the Night Watch [ Naitō Otchi no Sumittinguburēdo ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Spiritual When this technique is activated it crackles violently with night blue lightning for the entire duration. The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Whenever the blade is swung or thrust over the duration the user can fire a concentrated blast of ten bolts of lightning to accompany the strike equal to the rank applied but for only half the cost to initiate the technique. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Additionally, these lightning bolts can be freely applied to all complex bukijutsu for no action cost to smite enemies. The only action cost is when the technique is activated and all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not consume actions and only chakra. This ability can be used in both forms of Getsuruito.
Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibā ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.
