Physical Description: Standing at 6' and towering over most of his peers with a stocky build, Ka'n cuts an imposing figure with medium toned skin, green eyes, a well-trimmed beard and shoulder length dirty blond hair that is usually tied back in a bun.
Personality: Given his tendency to keep to himself with a stoic, unreadable expression on his face most of the time and only speaking when absolutely necessary, it is little wonder that only the people who have worked with or interacted with Ka'n on a couple of occasions will come to know that he is the type of person who will act and make decisions while placing others' needs way above his own. In addition to that, he believes that it is his moral duty to protect and honour all the leaders, elderly as well as those younger than him. Therefore he will treat individuals, who fall within these groups, with the utmost respect and politeness at all times even if their thoughts and actions grated at his nerves.
Despite the diligence with which he pursued his studies and every task he was assigned, Ka'n unfortunately sometimes falls short of what is expected of him. This is because he is easily distracted by the things going on around him and his own expectation that everything should be accomplished with no less than 100% effort.
Ka'n is also the type of person who tends to let his feelings get the better of him. His choice of actions is easily swayed by his current state of mind. So much so that he will do everything when he is over the moon in contrast to being unable to properly take care of himself when he is distraught or upset over something. This can be triggered by an event that has recently happened or even a past memory of it whenever he sees a place or object or individual that is associated with the memory itself.

History: The only child of a rider father and a herbalist mother, Ka'n spent most of his childhood pining for a father figure that he could never get enough of. Often times he will be found all by himself, staring up at the dragons in the sky and wondering if his father was among them. As soon as he was found eligible to be a Candidate, Ka'n wasted no time in packing his bags to follow in his father's footsteps, bidding his mother a fond farewell while promising that he would write to her and visit as often as he was allowed to. It was two years later and a couple of failed impressions later when he finally found Zarelth and they've been inseparable ever since.

Physical Description: One of the larger browns in High Reaches with the wingspan to go with it, Zarelth takes great pride in his appearance and makes sure that he does his rider proud by performing as well as he looks.
Personality: Drawn to Ka'n whom he found a kindred spirit in, Zarelth is quiet, practical, down to earth and the voice of reason whenever Ka'n needs one. Like Ka'n, he tends to keep to himself, preferring to analyse situations from a distance first before jumping into action. Much preferring to work smart rather than blindly working hard all the time, Zarelth can butt heads with Ka'n at times since the both of them can be pretty stubborn and adamant at times at getting what they respectively wanted.
