Village of Origin: Originates from Kirigakure, resides in Sunagakure.

Kekkei Genkai: Kirisame (A Rank): Samidare Clan members can biologically create mist from their bodies and even transform their bodies into mist at will, making them immune to Taijutsu. However, turning into mist only guarantees them safety from Taijutsu, and makes them susceptible to Lightning Release Jutsu, as electricity conducts water. Being hit by Lightning Release while in Mist Form negatively affects the user. This causes them to take 1 additional Rank of damage from Lightning Release techniques.

Description: A different kind of mode that a Samidare Clan member can achieve by mastering the art of Genjutsu. At activation, this techniques funnel extra Chakra into the eyes and head of user, as that they can temporarily see and perceive Genjutsu before it happens. This also causes mist to leak out of the user's body. Using the mist produced as a trigger, there are three Genjutsu available to the user while in this state. Unfortunate, due to the Chakra cost, it can only be maintained for posts total, completely having the user's Chakra pool upon completion.

Samidare Reincarnation Genjutsu: Hell Reincarnation

Description: An activatable Genjutsu using the Eye of Naraka. The eye in question iris itself changes depending on the Genjutsu used. turns to the Japanense Kanji for "一" (one) and grants the user the ability to trap enemies in Genjutsu if they make eye contact. Before the Genjutsu fully engulfs an enemy, the eye of the user will flash bright red. Although an enemy might be able to use Kai to break out of normal Genjutsu, the Reincarnation Genjutsu can be broken if the victim inflict pain upon themselves.

Description: An activatable Genjutsu using the Eye of Naraka. The eye in question iris itself changes depending on the Genjutsu used. turns to the Japanense Kanji for "二" (two) and is unique in the fact that this Genjutsu is performed on the user itself, fooling themselves into knowing combat knowledge they otherwise may not know. It does not give the user the physical strength to do so, but, simply gives them the illusion that they can fight in intricate patterns, usually based upon their opponent, or even the user's memories itself. While under the throes of this Genjutsu, the user is not able to cast any Reincarnation Genjutsu while it is active, and can be remotely cancelled by the user.

Secret Samidare Kenjutsu: Shin Deijinn

Description: This is an more aggressive version of the Sadachi technique, being more than one attack. Generating mist from their body, the user uses Iaido to dash at the enemy, using the mist created from their body to cloak their movements. Next, they strike at the legs before striking at the chest. Since two strokes of the blade requires both hands to perform, this causes strain on both arms of the user. With that much strength, the user places massive strain on their arms. This sprains the arms used for the technique, and a second use will break the arms entirely of the user entirely.

Secret Samidare Kenjutsu: Shin Sadachi

Description: This is an more practiced version of the Sadachi technique, being one attack with more lethality than the previous version. Generating mist from their body, the user uses Iaido to dash at the enemy, using the mist to cloak their movements. Before striking, however, the user flashes a 5-second Genjutsu (D-Rank Genjutsu), one meant to be temporary. This is so the enemy can't properly defend themselves for the final stroke. Now, the user strikes at the stomach, intending to bisect the enemy. With that much strength, the user places massive strain on their arm. This sprains the arm used for the technique, and a second use will break the arms entirely of the user entirely.

Secret Samidare Kenjutsu: Sadachi

Description: The weapon technique to accompany the most powerful Genjutsu in the Samidare Clan. To follow up on the powerful Genjutsu, the user focuses a large amount of chakra on their weapon, prioritizing on speed. The user then begins by striking at the enemy’s torso six times in quick succession. This starts as a stab in the center of the chest, another horizontal slash across the belly, a bludgeon upon the head, a slanting slash at the shoulder, and finally at killing blow at the neck. This technique is designed to end a fight in an instant, accompanied with the Jiunoka Genjutsu.

Description: The most unique Genjutsu technique in the Samidare Clan’s arsenal. Loading Chakra in their eyes, the user feints at their enemy, baiting an attack and using Kirisame to escape damage. However, in that moment, they fire their prepared Chakra in to the body of the enemy, their eyes glowing a bright red before the Genjutsu fully settles in. The Genjutsu seemingly teleports the target to an unknown forest filled with mist, were they will be seemingly attacked by ten different black-clad ninja with seemingly inumerable speed and strength. Each ninja will be visually distorted, however. The terror of the Genjutsu is that the Genjutsu also induces sleep in targets caught in the Genjutsu. As long as these illusory ninja are alive, the Genjutsu will continue to be active.

Samidare Genjutsu: Mist Clone Technique

Description: By taking a considerable amount of Chakra, the Samidare Clan member creates a realistic clone of themselves using their mist created by their Kekkei Genkai. At the moment of expiration, the clone explodes into mist, which is the trigger for a (1 post long) Genjutsu. The air around the target will visually distort before the Genjutsu fully settles in. The radius of this automated Genjutsu is within 5 feet of the defeated clone.

Fukuro Senso: Umi

Description: Using Fukuro Senso, the user infuses their weapon and feet with chakra, sliding in low at high speed. Jumping from below, using a rising uppercut movement meant to slice at the jaw from below. This is a swift, two stab strike designed to specifically aim for important arteries in the neck and head.

Description: Using Fukuro Senso, a user creates a chakra-empowered powerful blow into an oscillating wave that stuns the opponent's muscles if it come into contact with the enemy or their weapon, as it can travel through weapons. This technique specifically aims for the muscles in the hands and arms of the target, making close combat difficult for an enemy, it directly strains the muscles as it damages them.

Description: The user feints at the enemy in question, before kicking dirt at them, masking their next movement. (And possibly blinding them.) Next, the user swings low, aiming for the legs first before striking above the shoulder. A one-two technique capable of cleaving through muscles and flesh.

Fukuro Senso: Yarazu no Ame

Description: Using Fukuro Senso, a user drops their weapon, kicking it with their foot, to send it flying in a stab. In that moment when their foot comes into contact with the handle of the the sword, they use the same concept as the Squalo technique, and funnel Chakra into the weapon before sending it flying. The sword then creates an oscillating wave when it comes into contact with an enemy, it temporarily paralyzes them by attacking their muscles. (The paralyze effect lasts for 1 post.)

Fukuro Senso: Shajiku no Ame

Description: Using Fukuro Senso, the user activates a Genjutsu that paralyzes an enemy’s legs and lower torso. A visual distortion will occur near the target's lower body (akin to a heat wave) before the Genjutsu takes hold. Once the Genjutsu has taken hold, the user rushes at an enemy and thrusts forwards with the dangerous edge of their blade.

Description: A combat style to comparative to the Tsunayoshi Clan’s Gouka Soen Ryu. It relies on using weaponry, mainly swords and pointed weapons. Involves parrying and quickly counter-attacking within a long range. Its is the main accompaniment to the Samidare Clan’s Genjutsu, making this weapon technique more lethal than ever.

Description: Using Fukuro Senso, the user holds the sword/or weapon in front of them, while channeling chakra, and spins to create a whirlwind like shield to block/parry incoming projectiles.

Description: Using Fukuro Senso, the user performs Utsushi Ame to trap the enemy. Once the enemy is trapped, the user channels chakra through their weapon of choice, throwing it to close the gap, aiming for a vital point.

Samidare Genjutsu: Hell Mist Vision

Description: This is a genjutsu that uses the fears that dwell inside target’s mind. This genjutsu is a technique that draws forth an image of carnage from within the mind and has one mistake it for reality. First, an imaginary wave of mist will appear around and envelop the target, falling away shortly after. After a short pause, the illusion will begin. This is to make the illusion more convincing, since the user will likely have moved before the illusion sets in.

Samidare Genjutsu: Utsushi Ame

Description: Using their ability to create mist, the user traps the opponent in a visual Genjutsu that traps someone in a visual loop. A large auditory distortion will occur before the Genjutsu fully sets in, hinting at the Genjutsu. Words and the speech of other will slur and slow. The Genjutsu will make things appear the exact same for as long as the Genjutsu is active. In addition, predatory illusory animals will appear as a distraction, with the number correlating to how effective the Genjutsu is on the target.

Samidare Kenjutsu: Gamaciel

Description: The user swings their blade downward in a stabbing motion. If this initial attack misses, the user follows up by jumping onto the butt of the handle (as the sword is buried in the ground by missing the attack). In this stage, it allows them to be evasive in how they attack next. Jumping off the handle and making a front-flip, grabbing the sword in one fell swoop, and lashing out vertically.

Physical Characteristics: Samidare Clan members are mostly identified by their dark blue hair and dark blue eyes. Any other combination of hair or eye color makes the Clan member a half-breed.

History: The Samidare Clan were a tribe of peace-loving people who lived near a lake in the territory of Kirigakure.They mostly kept to themselves, but, after a misunderstanding, were hunted by the Kirigakure Government after a case of mistaken identity. They were accused of a terrorist act, and without in alibi, they were sentenced to death. Most of the Clan members were put to the sword, and at the brink of destruction, they were saved by the second Mafia Boss of the Tsunayoshi Clan, Hidetoshi. He repealed the attackers using the Tsunayoshi Clan’s trademark Scorch Release, and what was left of the Clan pledged themselves to the Tsunayoshi for saving them. And even since the second generation, the Samidare Clan has protected the Tsunayoshi as their loyal vanguard. They then moved the remaining Clan members to the Tsunayoshi Compound in Sunagakure, and have been at their side ever since.

Summary: The Samidare Clan uses their Kekkei Genkai for defense, Genjutsu for confusion and disruption, and Taijutsu for offense.
