Built high atop the mountain side is the Industrial Quarter. A massive district which houses the workshops and storage spaces for a few thousand smiths and artisans. In addition to those workshops and storage facilities is the housing and other civilian infrastructure to support the miners and their families who live within the district. The reason for the massive size is Ishikawa mine. A massive mine more akin to a labyrinth. Composed of numerous off shoot tunnels the mine adds new paths every year as different ores and veins are discovered. More than likely the odd conglomeration of resources came about due to the strange effects produced by the collapse of the Uzumaki fuuinjutsu systems that once regulated the island.

This poison that is my mind.

After walking from the Uzukages office, Sachiko and her brother made their way through the village. They soon arrived in the Industrial quarter of the village, where they could find their new home. Though she questioned at first why the property was in the industrial quarter, after some though she thought that perhaps it was because the area was less populated and they would be less noticeable to the villagers, as they would if they stayed in the shinobi district. Sachiko wasn't sure how the villagers would react to the oni race but this would be good for them.

Finally arriving at their place of stay, she observed it from the outside. Around them was several foundries and warehouses used to work and store the materials that were mined from the mountain. The road in front of the home was stairs going up the mountainside leading to the mines at the top. Also looking like the buildings around it, the house was built like a box, except for being built into the mountainside with most of the box. Pushing open the door, the interior was very bare. They would have to get some stuff to furnish the house. Also like many of the buildings around it, the home didn't posses many windows, so the interior was rather dark. Walking to the middle of the room, she stripped off her cloak that she was wearing and undid the large pack she carried before turning to her brother. Well brother, welcome home.

Following Sachiko through the village they soon began to climb the side of the volcano. As they climbed the pathway soon became stairs as they climbed as the land grew to a sharp angle. Osamu first question how they transported goods from this sector to the docks until he saw a tracked cable train that ran nearby to transport goods from the top of the mountain the the bottom. Right now Osamu wished that they were riding that train as it would be easier on his feet, but they soon arrived at here recidence. It wasnt that impressive on the outside, as it looked like a brick set into the mountain, but it would do for now. Following Sachiko inside, it was even less impressive to look at. It was completely bare without any amenities but then they both were used to not having much. Watching his sister drop her cloak and pack he looked ar her as she spoke about the home. Not much of a home, but its better then sleeping in the dirt. continueing to look around he then said, Sachiko, we need to talk, about mother and father and what happens next.

Upon hearing her brother wanting to talk about their parents, Sachiko let off a sigh. She didn't want to really talk about it, but knowing her brother he would pester her. Pulling out a small cream goard, she began to drink the liquid inside. It was alcohol of course as what Oni didn't drink but she had a lighter alcohol then most of her brethren. She would need something stronger for the talk. Give me some of your sake, Osamu and then we will talk brother.

Hearing what Sachiko wanted, Osamu gave a small smile. Why do you create such weak Sake if your just going to drink mine all the time. He reached into his bag and pulled out two of his own bottle of liquid. He would uncork both bottles before taking a swig of one of the bottles. He would then pass the other bottle to his sister before sitting down. So dear sister, how much do you know of my banishment and for what reason would our mother have plans in place for when my banishment happened?

This poison that is my mind.

Taking the bottle that her brother offered her, she would take a deep swig of the bottle before giving a small cough. His drinks were very strong and burned slightly when going down her throat. Leaning back a little bit she spoke to her brother. I don't have an more of a clue of how things ended up in this situation as you do, but I do know that you were banished because you struck a guest of the clan. I also know that it was because of me that you did so. Wrapping her arms around her legs she continued. I was to be a slave, a concubine to another man. I was nothing more then a ornament that father would sale off to the highest bidder. I was to be sold off to a man that would use me, but then discard me later. Either that, or I would be used for parts to replace those someone else.

It was hard knowing this. She had known for quite sometime what was going to happen to her. She had been very depressed because she knew that she couldn't decide her own fate. She was nothing more then a tool to her father, who cared only for making a quick profit, with no consideration for those around him. Though she kept a facade up that she was some happy girl. inside she was depressed. The only thing that kept her going was her brother. If it wasn't for him, she would have removed herself from the world, but she knew that if she did that, it would deeply harm her brother, and so one could not exist without the other in this world.

Thinking on this, Sachiko decided that she wouldn't dally on this subject and got up from her sitting position. Hey brother, why don't we go explore the village. Get a feel for where we are living now. Walking over to the door, she would open it and begin the walk down the stairs outside, not waiting to see if her brother would join her, though she knew that he would.

Hearing from Sachiko, on everything she knew about the situation, Osamu himself began to think. He hadn't known about what was happening to Sachiko as he had been trying to get on his fathers good side for the past couple of years, that he hadn't noticed that troubles that were befalling his sister. He knew that his father had been struggling of late with getting money for his clan, but he didn't know about the auction that was to sale off his sister to the highest bidder to do with, whatever they dared to do. Though he had believed that their race was a kind one, he knew otherwise. The men of his race mistreated those of the opposite gender. That was why many females of the race would rather take their lives then to live.

He continued to think on things until his sister stood up and walked over to the door. She asked him to join her in exploring the village, possibly as a distraction for their talk for the moment. He nodded in agreement and followed her outside.

The moon was red. He had fangs. People were starting to look really tasty. All of these things were facts. Still, an ever more present fact was that Kenny Yin was anything if not an opportunist. All this chaos left a lot of unguarded wallets and unattended cash registers. Sure, tempting as it was to indulge in the bloodlust out in the streets the call of cold hard cash was much more tempting. One such occasion called for him to scale through a third story window. Thankfully he had learned the perfect jutsu for this occasion; pooling chakra in his feet he walked straight up the wall and cased the joint- cleaning it out handily

Niko Hatake: Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!

Mood: Yui & Aoi

"So you're looking for work huh?" Niko was still walking with Yui and Aoi eating ice cream. She wasn't sure where they were going, but she wasn't upset in the slightest. "Like do you need money or something?" Niko nodded as Hisashi trotted along with a smile. Aoi looked at Yui and vice versa. A devious plot came into their minds. "Well if you're really looking, we can hire you, and I know just thing we nee... I mean we lost. Yeah we lost it, right Aoi?" Aoi nodded. "Like yeah. Totally lost it." Hisashi wasn't falling for it, but Niko on the other hand...

New Mood: Mad Skillz

Niko and Hisashi ventured off in search of the missing item. It was very specific as well. Apparently, they've misplaced a really nice pearl necklace that they took turns wearing. They were not sure where, but they believe it was stolen by a wealthy man who lived in the Industrial quarter. Seeing no reason not to trust them, Niko walked through the industrial quarter in search of the man. They walked around for hours until they finally found a man that fit the description. They would lie in wait and follow this man home.

When they arrived, Niko immediately put Hisashi on watch. Then she jumped to a near by roof top to get a bead on what was happening. She had a view of the windows and could make out the man and what appeared to be his lover. He was placing the necklace around her neck. She looked to be happy and surprised meaning what Yui and Aoi said could be true. Niko would continue to scope out the house looking for an entrance as well as keeping an eye on them.

The couple went to eat dinner as servants scurried about and served. The man and the woman would carry on having a good time. She still had the necklace on and was still in shock. She looked to be of high class, but the gift must have meant something to her. Delighted and happy, Niko was starting to feel some way about this job. Still, it was a job and Niko needed to get back in the swing of things if she wanted to make any money. She watched them until they were finished eating.

Soon after dinner, the couple began to get ready for the night. Niko would watch over the woman carefully. It looked as if she put the necklace in her jewelry box. That would make this simple. They would bath and servants were hustling and bustling. Niko thought it best not to enter now however. She opted to wait till they fell asleep. She would quickly sneak in, jack the necklace, and then be on her merry way. The plan was full proof. She just needed them to fall asleep. Niko would continue to wait outside of their bedroom window.

After about two hours, the entire house was asleep. "Thank god... I've been out here forever. I wonder how Hisashi is doing." (Hisashi was also stricken with boredom, so much so that he found himself chasing his own tail for quite some time. He even almost caught it a few times.) Niko looked back and waited for the right moment. She quickly grabbed a kunai and carefully unhooked the window latch. Then, she gently pushed in. Quickly and as quietly as she could, Niko went to the jewelry box and grabbed the necklace. There was slight stir in the bed, that made Niko's heart drop. She quickly dropped as silently to the floor and became invisible behind the dresser where the jewelry box was.

After about five or so minutes, Niko deemed it safe. She quickly made it back out the window, then out of it gently closing it behind her. With a sigh of relief, Niko smiled as she looked at the pearl necklace. "Mission accomplished." Niko then rejoined Hisashi. He seemed happy to see her, but unhappy overall. "Did you get it?" Niko pulled out the necklace as they started back to Yui and Aoi. It was well past dark now and with it being late, Niko thought she would have to wait till tomorrow to see them. However, that would not be the case for the shinobi for hire.

New Mood: Yui & Aoi

Yui and Aoi were standing in wait for Niko and Hisashi. Well they saw each other, they instantly rushed over with anxiousness. "Like did you get it?" "Please tell us you got it?" They both seemed incredibly eager. Hisashi, knowing what he knew about these two girls, did not trust them in the slightest. That man must have either done something to them or was targeted because of his money, but whatever the reason was, Hisashi knew there was more to the story. Niko pulled out the necklace in delight of Yui and Aoi. She was proud of herself. "Great job Niko! Way to go!" Aoi smiled and took the necklace. "Like yeah thank you so much! My dad was gonna kill me if he found out I sold... I mean it was stolen." Hisashi already knew what it was. He shook his head hoping Niko would catch the same thing. She did not. "I'm glad I could help you guys out. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with!" Yui and Aoi laughed as they nodded and gave their goodbyes.

New Mood: Niko & Hisashi

Hisashi looked back up at Niko. "Why do you still deal with those two? I already told you. They aren't good people..." Hisashi seemed legitimately confused. Niko just smiled and started off towards home.

"You don't have to worry about them. All you have to do is trust me."

Niko Hatake: Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!

Mood: Helper For Hire

After sleeping in the day prior, Niko was beyond disappointed in herself. She was so disappointed in fact, she woke up and started her day today ridiculously earlier. Even Hisashi, who is normally full of energy, was barely awake. Luckily, he wouldn't be doing much today. After leaving the poison shop yesterday, Niko was informed by the shopkeeper about a possible job for her. All she had to do is go to Sal's Workshop in the Industrial Quarter and ask for Sal. She was also told to go as early as she could because it gets very busy there. Niko followed the instructions to a key. She sat down and waited in front of the shop.

"Who the hell are you and why are you sitting outside my shop with this mangy mutt?! The man that approached her looked to be in his late fifties and also looked like he's seen quite a bit of life. Even though he insulted Hisashi, Niko (who rarely does this) swallowed her pride and ignored it. "My name is Niko Hatake. I was told to come ask about some work." The man looked her up and down. Then he spat on the ground next to her. Niko didn't flinch. "Well that's fine and dandy but I don't have any work for little pipsqueaks like you. Beat it kid." Niko understood. She bowed her head. "I can assure you I am no child. I understand however. Thank you for your time." Then she turned to leave when the man called out again after a deep breath. "Hey pipsqueak! Go to Rei's up the road and get me what's on this list. I needed it yesterday so hurry the hell up!" Niko nodded and was off. 1/3 E

Niko made it to Rei's very quickly. The shop was small and looked empty. Then Niko realized it was a parts shop. "Welcome to Rei's! How can I help you?" Niko handed him the list and he nodded. He walked away for about five mins. Niko took a look around. There really wasn't much to see. The man returned with the parts and an angry look. "I'll do it this time, but you better tell Sal to pay me tomorrow. I can't keep fronting him like this. Did you need anything else?" Niko shook her head and said goodbye as she returned to Sal's. 1/3 D

Niko would move as fast as she could to get back to Sal's. She even lightning stepped a couple of times. See Niko had a goal in mind. There was so much she needed to do to get to that goal. She needed money and a trade. That's the only way she would be able to get enough to hit the road again. She wasn't done traveling and still needed to see the world. If working for Sal meant she got to do that, then that's what she would do. Niko walked back into Sal's. 2/3 D

Niko gave Sal the parts and the message. Sal looked surprised. He never expected her to get back so quick. "Hmmm... that was quick. I suppose you have some use. Okay. You can work with us today as a trial run. Don't make me regret that. Now go set up the shop. If you don't know how just clean it and make it look nice. We've got a busy day ahead." Sal walked off leaving Niko to it. She grabbed everything that she could find that would help her and she got right to work. 3/3 D

The store was already pretty clean. Sal looked like he ran a good workshop. Still Niko wondered why Sal wasn't paying on time. As Niko wiped down a work bench, she thought of what it could be. She still hasn't seen the business in action yet, so that could be the case. Or maybe Sal was a nice guy and donated his money to charity. So many reasons as to what it could mean. Niko finished her thought as she finished the bench and went to sweep the floor. 2/3 E

As Niko grabbed the broom, a younger man walked up to her with an extended hand. "Hey. I'm Sal's son but you can just call me Jr. It's nice to meet you...?" Niko gave her name and shook his hand. "Nice to meet you. You're working here with us today? Well I could use some help. Do you think you could watch the front for me? Joey's gonna be late today and she's normally our front runner." Niko nodded with a smile and took her place up front. 1/4 D

The shop was now up and fully running. It was still early so there weren't many customers yet. With the sun slowly rising that would all change. Niko looked over the files in the front and the papperwork on the customers orders. She was a genius so catching up before the rush was easy for her. She organized what she could and tried to make it all easier for her to get. Then she got her first customer. 2/4 D

"Hello! How can I help you today?" The man smiled and was quick to answer. "Pick up order for Takaeda." Niko smiled and nodded as she found the file for Takaeda. He ordered a specially made katana with the characters for flame sword engraved in the blade. Niko went to find the sword, showed the customer and accepted payment. It was strange how fast Niko picked this up. The man left satisfied and that made Niko feel good. 3/4 D

The next customer was the mother of a young acedemy student. "Hello! How can I help you today?" "Hello to you too! I have a pick up order for Naomi. It should be a set of custom shuriken." Niko smiled and checked the file in similiar fashion. Then she went back and found the set, brought it back, and let them incpect them. The student's eyes widened when she saw them. They were in the shape of snowflakes. "Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!" Niko smiled in joy as the mother paid and they were on their way. 4/4 D

"You might have a knack for this." Niko heard a woman say. She looked over to see a pretty girl with blue hair. "I'm Joey, and you must be new. Don't worry! You're gonna do just fine." Joey took over for Niko and asked her to find Jr. He would know what she should do next. By this time, there were quite a few workers there with her. She found Jr. as quick as she could. "Joey's here? Good. Well just finish sweeping then see if anyone needs you're help." Niko nodded and continued on. Hisashi was outside in the back sleeping while all of this was going on. He was dreaming of an open field and running all day. 3/3 E

Niko would pick up her broom and start up again. She swept the whole store front to back. The easiest part of her day by far. Still, Niko was having a good time. She was enjoying her working days again. Zelená was a welcomed change to say the least. When she finished sweeping, she walked over to one of the workers. "Sup. Can you go get me a mallet and some tongs? Gotta set up for the day." 1/3 E

Niko would return with the man's tools. "Thanks ma. Oh, can you also go get my water bottle out of my locker. The name's Vincent." Niko nodded. She went back to the locker area and found his locker. She returned and the man was grateful. "You might have to stick around kid. Having you here ain't too bad." Niko laughed as she went to another worker. 2/3 E

"I just need you to hold this for a second." The man was wrapping the hilt of a sword. He just needed Niko to hold the blade while he got it as tight as he could. Then after a quick pull, he finished. The sword was beautiful and had a design in the handle. "Thanks. I'll talk to Sal. The last girl he hired was nowhere near a competent as you." Niko laughed at the joke and bowed. Then she went to find Sal. 3/3 E

When she caught up to him, Sal told Niko what to do next. She needed to go to the back and find whatever she could for materials. Wood, metal, old parts, cloth, leather, etc. Sal needed it all. Niko headed back there and started with the wood. She brought up as much as she could carry, which was a few logs. With a deep breath, she placed them on the table before moving on. 1/3 E

The metal was more so heavy and required a couple of trips. This was something that Niko was beginning to like doing. She had been training so much, she had forgotten what it was like to just work. Yes training is a form of work, but that was more of a personal form of work. One only builds themselves as the train, but while they work, they build everyone around them. Without the workers, the world would fall apart. After for trips and this thought, Niko moved on to the other items. 2/3 E

"Sometimes I can't believe myself. You know I had no intention of letting you work here but I need the help to be honest. You've been doing a good job here today and I'm not proud to admit that. I can be a hard a** sometimes but I'm not that bad. So what do you say?" Niko just nodded her head in acceptance. "Glad to have you aboard! Well I got a few more things for you today but how about a quick lunch break." After Niko was finished bringing up all the materials, she was asked to go get lunch. Seeing no problems, Niko left. 3/3 E

"Hisashi! Come on we got to go get some lunch and I need you." Hisashi, who was sleeping, woke up sluggishly and slowly walked over. "Hey Niko... Working hard?" Niko activated the man beast clone technique. There stood another wolf-like Niko. With a yawn, Hisashi realized what just happened. He looked at Niko with asking eyes. Niko nodded. Hisashi jumped for joy and immediately activated the transformation technique. "OH YEAH! The great and almighty Hisashi Hatake is BACK BABY!" Niko laughed and shook her head as they walked to get the order. 1/3 E

When they arrived, Niko paid and received the order. There were five large bags in total. "They sure eat a lot! Oh! Did anyone get any steak?! If soooo..." "No." The "no" came so quickly that Hisashi didn't even finish the sentence. He made a frowny face, one as funny as he could, just to get a laugh out of Niko. It managed to draw a smile and a head shake and Hisashi was fine with that. "Later then maybe?" Niko sighed with a smile. "We'll see." Hisashi became excited as they walked back to Sal's. 2/3 E

"Hey thanks Niko!" Everyone who ordered thanked her. She even got something for her and Hisashi. "Bleh! Fish!" Hisashi's face was really sour. Everyone laughed as Niko spoke about herself more. She told them about her life in the hidden leaf, the hidden sand and even as her days as the shinobi for hire. She was fascinating them with her stories. Soon, lunch was over and it was back to work. 3/3 E

When they returned to work, Niko was asked to help Joey again. Niko was surprised to see the amount of customers there were after lunch. Niko was told to go get the orders since there was a line. That would make things faster. Niko had no issues and did so with ease. "I have a pick up order for Akira." Niko looked at the file number and went to get the order. She came back with a set of lances, both beautifully crafted to perfection. Niko wasn't sure why, but she was starting to become fascinated by all of this. 1/3 E

"I have an order for Tima and I was just checking the eta on that order." Joey tasked Niko to speak with the smith in charge of that order. After finding out who, Niko went and spoke to Jr. "Yeah that job's almost done. I'm just waiting on the hand guard to get here and they should be good to go. Should be two to three more days." Niko nodded and relayed the news to the customer. "You guys are really fast. I was expecting around two weeks but you got it done in just one. Thank you so much. I'll be back then. Have a good day!" 2/3 E

Niko and Joey were killing it. The line was moving along fast, Niko was getting everything right on the first try, and things seemed to be going very well for Niko on her first day at this new work. She would definitely be coming back to work her again for sure. They were good people and it was fun work. She even learned a few things about crafting. All and all Niko was having a good day. 3/3 E

Niko Hatake: Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!

Mood: Helper For Hire

Niko was still in her work flow. She never expected going back to work after all this time. She thought that she would focus on her shinobi life, but that didn't last very long. Yes, Niko is a shinobi, but she hasn't done to many shinobi things due to her rank in the village. She's a lot more versatile than this but with her boundaries and not being able to shine like she wanted to, Niko could only do so much. Why not make some money while she waited? "Hey Niko! Could you run over to Jaiza's for me? She has an order for us but can't deliver it herself." Niko nodded. She quickly finished with her prior task and headed out. 1/3 D

Jaiza's Surplus and Supplies was further than Rei's by quite some way. Niko knew she would waste a lot of time trying to go slowly and by the path. Niko used the rooftops instead. When she reached them, she began lightning stepping through each roof like it was nothing. Trails of red lighting flew left and right on the rooftops until Niko made it. "I'm here from Sal's to pick up an order." With a smile, Niko was handed a blade and a box. Inside the box, was the top half of the blade. Apparently it had been broken and need a repair. "Tell them there's no rush, just to fix it better than new and let me know when. It's very important to me." Niko nodded as Jaiza handed her the broken blade. 2/3 D

Niko returned to Sal's in a hurry. She didn't lose anytime in the shop so she made her best effort to get there. When she did, she saw Hisashi outside sitting there talking to Joey. The store had no customers and they were laughing and having a good time. Niko walked up with a smile. It was always nice seeing people interacting with Hisashi, especially when it's all about the laughter. "Hey Niko! Joey was just telling me how good of a job you're doing. I'm so proud of you!" "Yeah your brother's right. I'm proud of you too. I was the only girl here for a while so it's nice to have another girl here." Niko just bowed and thanked them as she brought the sword inside. 3/3 D

When Niko got inside, She was immediately asked to deliver an order that was supposed to be finished three days prior. They didn't have the part they needed and the order went into a incomplete state. They finally got the part today and finished it. Now they just needed to get it to the customer. Niko, again, had no problems going. "Take that to Sally over at Hiroshi and Sons. Tell her it's on the house." 1/3 D

As Niko left, she waved to Hisashi and Joey. As she made her way through the streets, Niko thought about all she has done today alone. It was quite a lot for one girl and her wolf. Still, it felt good going back to work like this. It kept her mind off of trivial things. She wasn't worried about the sharingan nearly as much as she was, and that was a great thing to her. She knew that it was only a matter of time that she would reach her goal. She just had to do the work. She made it to Hiroshi and Sons and asked for Sally. "Why in the **** did that take so long?! It'd better be on the damn house! As if I'd ever pay for such...! Sigh* Look I'm sorry... I just needed this a few days ago. Tell them thank you. It looks wonderful as always." Niko nodded. Sally seemed nice enough after all. Niko smiled as she made her way back. 2/3 D

When Niko returned, there was a line and things looked busy. She quickly ran inside to see where she could be of help. She asked Joey what she could do. "I just need these orders. When you're done can you go see what Vincent needs? He was looking for you a bit ago." Niko nodded as she went to get the orders from the back. She had three of them. One was a shield, but only a replica. It wasn't for actual combat which was strange. There was also a very nice one handed axe. The handle it's self was the most impressive part being made of shear solid polished wood. The last one was also a strange one but very understandable. It was a baseball bat. It was simple yet complicated. The crafting of this bat was a tale to be told. This impressive set of items were all brought back by Niko and distributed to the customers. Then Niko bowed and went to find Vincent. 3/3 D

"You wanted to see me?" Niko stood in front of Vincent with an "I'm ready to help" smile. Vincent stood up with a smile of his own. "Yes I did! So, Sal told me to teach you some of the ropes before we close shop. What do you say?" Niko nodded as Vincent asked her for help with his presentation. 1/4 D

Vincent started with what he called the basics as he had Niko pick up and feel different types of metals. He told her to take everything in. The feel, the weight, the sound, the smell, all of these things were different in the metals. Some were in fact heavier than some and some were so much more rough. Vincent then expalined the tools they use and where the ores come from and things of that matter. As Niko got a feel for all the tools, she began to wonder herself. This could be something she got good at. 2/4 D

Vincent began to talk about the forge itself. "A forge is a type of hearth used for heating metals like the ore I just showed you. Obviously it gets really hot, so don't put your face in it! But, this is where it all starts. Molds and what we call "hammerin" happens right here at the forge." Niko stood by the forge and felt the intense heat coming from it. It was enough to cause a bead of sweat drop down. It was intimidating to say the least. 3/4 D

Finally, Vincent showed her the finished product of a well crafted weapon as well as a poorly crafted one. You could tell the difference in them immediately is some cases. In this one, the metals were obviously different. The good quality one was sturdy and strong, while the poor one was a tad bit malleable and somewhat flimsy. The use of good ore is important and the better the metal the better the weapon. Now, that's not always the case but nine times out of ten, you want the best metal. It also had a lot to do with discipline, patience, and a bit of luck. Not every mold is perfect, just like every "perfect" piece has some sort of flaw somewhere. As Niko held the two, she became more and more interested in the blacksmithing field. 4/4 D

"I showed her the ropes like you asked and she got it pretty quick! Need me to show her anything else?" Vincent went off to speak to Sal asking Niko to clean up the area. She grabbed her broom and began sweeping again. Then, she was approached by Jr. 1/4 D

"You think you could help me real quick?" Niko nodded and put the broom down. Jr. needed her to help shut down his forge and put away his tools. He and Vincent, besides Sal, were the main smiths. Vincent was in charge of all blunt or faux weapons while Jr. did the blades. They really had a nice system there, working on multiple projects at a time. Plus they knew how to manage them well so they could take them on without worry. As Niko put up the tools, she thought long and hard. 2/4 D

"Hey Niko? Got a sec?" After shutting down the forge and cleaning up, Joey asked Niko for some help. "All we have to do is organize these files. They need to go alphabetically by the date of the order. You also have to match the order to the customer info and mark it in the complete or incomplete piles. Easy enough right?" Indeed it was. She and Joey knocked that out in less than twenty minutes. It usually takes Joey away from the close, but with the help today, she was able to get done quickly. 3/4 D

The workshop was closing now and the crew was all getting ready to leave. Niko was tasked with finishing the cleaning while everyone else did inventory or other things. Soon Niko was done sweeping. She did on final check of the work floor. Everything looked okay. Then, she looked over the front. It was much of the same. It was nice and neat and Niko was proud of her day. She did a wonderful job and was thanked by everyone as they left. Before Niko could however, she was tasked with one more job from Sal. 4/4 D

"Niko, could I get you to deliver one more thing for me? It's kinda important." Niko smiled. "Sure. Where does it need to go?" Sal looked away for a min. He seemed kind of shy in this request. "Take it back to Sally will you? You're free after that. Thanks for all the help. I'm not proud or nothing but you did a lot today so you should be." Niko nodded and was off. 1/3 D

When Niko made it back to Hiroshi and Sons, Sally started off like her normal self. "Why in the **** did he send YOU to give me this?! I swear that man! As if I'd ever...! Sigh* Do you have anyone significant in your life?" Niko shook her head. She never really thought of others outside of her and Hisashi. "That's okay for right now. You don't have to deal with dumb **** like this. But you should look into it one day. It may have it's moments but it's worth it in the end. Are you going to be working there long? I think I may like you." Niko smiled and they chatted for a bit before Niko took off. 2/3 D

Niko walked back to the shop to get Hisashi. Their day was finally over and as the sun set, they knew they had done a good job. Niko learned a lot about blacksmithing today. She also made some money and networked a bit. Now, finding work wouldn't be so hard. She just needed to stay consistent and show up. It was such a good day, Niko decided to treat Hisashi to some steak before they left for home. With the tasks all done for the day, Niko left a note for Sal. 3/3 D

Sally said to give it to her directly next time you old fart. Thank you for letting me work today. I will be back soon. Please have a good day. Niko.

Niko Hatake: Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!

Mood: Helper For Hire

"Niko! You're back for more eh?" Niko was greeted by Jr. as she, the transformed Hisashi and the hawk came to Sal's workshop. Niko smiled and nodded as she waited for instruction. "We're glad to have you back, but the work load is light today. You're gonna be on delivery if that's cool with you?" Niko was a little disappointed but was still eager to work. She smiled and agreed and was off on her first delivery. 1/3 D

Niko left Hisashi and the bird behind due to her wanting to get them out the way fast. Niko would hit the rooftops and Lightning step her whole way there. Her first stop: Jaiza's Surplus and Supplies. When she got there, she had to wait due to Jaiza not being there. After about twenty minutes of so, Jaiza showed up and greeted Niko. "Hello! Are you here with the sword?" Niko nodded as she handed it to here. Jaiza pulled it out and looked it over. "Perfect craftsmanship as usual. I want to thank you for bringing this to me." Niko bowed. "No problem! Have a good day!" 2/3 D

Niko returned to Sal's as fast as she could. Jr. was waiting for her outside. "You really move don't you? You've got to be the fastest runner we've ever had! Here hold on while I go get the next order. Who knows? You might get them all delivered today!" Niko smiled at the compliment as she waited for her next delivery. 3/3 D

Her next stop was back to Rei's. She had received an envelope to deliver. Niko could only assume it was the money for the parts. With a smile and another wave to Hisashi, Niko was off. Again, taking to the rooftops, Niko was moving at top speed. 1/3 D

When she landed in front of Rei's, she noticed the store had a bit of inventory now. The last time she had came, there was none. Everything was in the back. Niko walked in the shop. "Oh hey it's you again! Got any money for me?" The man laughed signaling it was a joke, but Niko handed him the envelope. Rei soon stopped laughing and sighed. "I guess you really did have some money for me! Ha ha. That's funny. Well since you came all this way to give me this, here..." Niko was handed a part. "Sal told me about you. That's on the house. Use it to make something one day, okay?" Niko nodded, thanked him, and was on her way. 2/3 D

"Are you some kind of super speedster or something?" Jr. joked. It had been a less than busy day, but Niko was treating it like they were slammed. Jr. could see the amount of hard work she was putting in and he respected that. He went to get a staff they had crafted and handed it to her. "This is going to a customer. He lives around here at this address. His name is Shinsuke." Niko nodded and was off. 3/3 D

Niko had never dealt with a customer at their home directly. Niko was a tad nervous. Still she would be able to get some money and possibly craft if she did this. That's all Niko really wanted. Niko looked at the address. She had no idea where to start, so the rooftops were not an option. Niko would have to go by foot and find it herself. 1/3 D

She came upon the road where the house was supposed to be. She had gone pretty far from the shop and was closer to the housing portion of the industrial quarter. She looked around for a bit until getting to the area she needed to be in. "226... 228... 230... 232! There you are!" Niko was luckily enough to find the house after only just getting there. She knocked on the door. As it slid open, Niko was greeted with a smile. "That must be my staff! Hey thanks for the delivery. Would you like some tea?" Niko politely accepted. Her and Shinsuke talked about many of things during that tea break. 2/3 D

After the tea break, Niko knew where she was going now, so she hit the rooftops and made it back to Sal's in record time. She was really enjoying her day even though she hadn't made anything yet. Patience is what we need to have in order to achieve what we want in life. Niko knew that very well. For now, she would just bide her time working as best she could. She looked for Jr. for her next delivery. 3/3 D

"Wow Niko. You're killing it today. I really only have three left. They have no rush to them, but if you could do something else for me before you get to those that would be great." Niko nodded excitedly. Hopefully she'd get to craft. "What do you need me to do" Her hopes and dreams were crushed all in one fell swoop. "Could you pick up lunch again?" With a sigh and a disappointed smile, Niko was off. 1/3 D

Niko had enlisted Hisashi's help again as they went to pick up the food. "If it's fish I don't want any! I hate fish!" Niko shook her head as they walked. "Hey mane, don't hate on the fish. Fish is good mane. Ya' know. Good for the brain mane." "You would eat fish too... Bleh! I just can't stand them. Not heavy enough for me." "You right, but still. Fish is good mane." Hisashi shook his head as they made it to the shop. 2/3 D

As the walked back, Hisashi could smell the fish. "BLEH!" Niko just laughed as all three of them made their way back to Sal's. Niko began to wonder if she would get to craft today. It wasn't that busy and there was a lot of free time to where she could have been showed a thing or two. She thought she would ask about it when she returned. 3/3 D

"You wanna craft something?" Niko nodded her head. Jr. thought about it for a second. Then he smiled. "Of course you can! I'll walk you through the steps on what you need to do, but first you have to finish the deliveries." Niko agreed and was off on another little delivery run. 1/3 D

This time she was heading back to Hiroshi and Sons. She was trying to get there as soon as possible so she could have enough time to craft something. Hopefully she could craft a weapon for someone to use. That would be a satisfying feeling for her to have. She herself was already smitten with her weapons. She was pretty sure other people would be too. Niko came up on Hiroshi and Sons. 2/3 D

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the delivery girl. I was just talking about you. Sal send you here with my tools?" Niko nodded her head with a smile. She handed Sally the tool box. "Excellent. I'm glad they got you. The last girl they hired was pretty garbage. You get things done quick and I like that." Niko thanked Sally for the compliment before departing. "Hey hold on, I've got something for you to take back." 3/3 D

Niko nodded as she received another envelope. She would bring this back to Sal's with her for Sally. She wasn't sure what was in it, but based on her last conversation with her, she could assume that it was intimate thing. Niko smiled. She never once thought of anyone like that. Then for some strange reason Itsuki popped into her mind. She quickly shook her head to snap out of it and started her way back. 1/3 D

Quickly on the rooftops, Niko dashed back to Sal's. She was excited. She was almost done with the deliveries and would soon be able to craft something. It was as if fate was smiling down upon her. She needed this for some reason. She couldn't quite understand why but it made her happy. Even with Hisashi, Niko has gone through somethings. Happy wasn't what she felt all the time or even half of the time. She was always content. But with this, she was extremely happy. Niko couldn't get why so instead of trying to figure out, she just let it ride and enjoyed the happiness while it lasted. 2/3 D

"This is for Sal. Do you know where he is?" Jr. shook his head. "My dad's not in today. He had some business to take care of. Is that for him?" Niko nodded. "Put it on his desk for me would ya?" Niko nodded again and made her way to the office. She placed the letter on the desk and went back out to Jr. 3/3 D

Niko came back out to see Jr. He had a smile on his face. Niko had finished all her delieveries for the day. Now it was time to craft. With a large smile, Jr. asked the question Niko's been waiting for all day.

"So, are you ready to craft something?"

Niko Hatake: Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!

Mood: Helper For Hire

Now that Niko had her supplies, Niko went back to Sal's. When she arrived she showed Jr. and he went and got her all set up. He explained to her how to use the forge, where she should start, tools she would need and just about everything else she needed to know.

First Niko was to come up with a mold for the weapon and how it would look. After a few moments of deciding, Niko made her mold. She decided on a basic katana to start. Jr. advised her that was good place to start, but it was a little advanced so she may have some trouble. Niko was not worried at all.

After Niko decided on her mold, next was the metal she would use.
Deciding on the metal took longer than expected. The metal was important for a couple of reasons. First was weight. The heavier the metal, the heavier the blade. Next would be the durability of the blade. Certain metals are harder then some and could become inferior if damaged. Finally, the metal is what gives the sword it's character. Special metals equal special sword. An ordinary metal could be made special by mixing in another, but that was risky as well. Niko in the end decided on steel, since it was common and she didn't want to waste anything in a mistake.

She then placed the ore in the forge. This took sometime to smelt so she waited with Hisashi until it was done. She thought this weapon might go to him if no one bought it. Hisashi had been watching Niko with a sword for sometime. She believed in his transformed state he would do well with a blade. So why not give him one, especially since she made it. The ore was now hot enough to pour into the mold. Using tongs, Niko took the ore and ran it into the mold slowly and carefully. She let it sit, the ore hopefully forming to the mold. After about an hour, the mold was cool enough to open. The blade was now molded. It just needed to be hammered, dressed, and sharpened.

The "hammerin" as Vincent had put it the other day was the hardest part. Niko took the blade and heated it up until it was the way she wanted it. Then she became to pound life into the molded blade. With every strike and hit, the blade became more and more alive in Niko's eyes. Her dream was happening right in front of her very eyes. When she got it the way she wanted it, Niko wet it and as the hot steam rose up, the smooth steel shined in the light.

Now it was up to her to dress the sword. She created the handle with a sturdy piece of wood. She also had a blue fabric she could wrap around the handle. She made little diamonds in the design of the handle too. She made sure to secure the blade in the wood as best she could. When she was done, she put the guard on it and gave it a good swing. It was sturdy and strong. Niko smiled, pleased with herself and creation. She then went to sharpen and polish it.

Now with every slide on the wet stone, her new blade became sharper and sharper. The blade was clean but you could barely tell it was just made. It had this feel to it, like it had always been there. Niko was excited to say the least. When she was finished she picked a sheathe and dawned a little chain at the end of the handle. The weapon was complete.

"Wow! I'm seriously impressed Niko! That looks perfect! I mean yeah it's got a minor few flaws but for it being your first try? That's a really good sword Niko." Niko couldn't help but smile. She was so happy she ran to Hisashi. "Hisashi look! Isn't it great?" Hisashi just smiled. "I'm proud of you Niko!" He gave her a big hug followed by a lick, which was weird because he was in human form and anyone who saw it would be confused. Still, Niko was happy. "What's it's name?" Niko thought but she didn't have one yet. She really wanted to make another weapon so Niko left the sword with Hisashi and asked him to name it. Then, she went back to the forge.

"You wanna make another one huh? Well we're closing up soon but I doubt one more would hurt anything." Niko was excited to get the okay. Then, she got to thinking. It didn't take long though, she knew what she wanted to make. She picked steel again, but mixed it with a bit of silver. She placed the ore in and waited as she started her mold.

She was fascinated by weapons and the weapons of the world. She had been many places in her days as a shinobi for hire. She encounter so many different weapon types, weapon styles, and even masters. There was one specifically she remembered. He used a Chinese sword in which he was really good with. These swords were often smaller with one hand handles. They were very fast blades. She was hoping the silver would make it more lightweight. Then when her mold was down, she started with the ore.

After pouring and letting it sit, it was till for the "hammerin". Niko began to smooth this one out and shape it into a smaller blade. This one was a little trickier due to it's size. That still didn't stop her from trying though. She continued to hammer at it until it was perfect. Soon after, she cooled it. Now it was time to dress the blade.

In similar fashion to the other unnamed sword, Niko got a smaller piece of wood. She used it as the handle but decorated it before hand. The handle had a red cloth around it but the pattern of it was in X's and was somewhat glittered. The handle even had a tassel at the end. Next and finally up was the sharpening. Niko looked at the blade before hand though. It was beautiful.

Now it was time for the sharpening. Niko sat and the wet stone and began again. She wanted to be done so she could show everyone. Niko however, knew patience. She didn't rush at all. She knew if she did all that work wouldn't have mattered. She took her time and made it as meticulously as she could. That way, no one could say other wise.

When she was done, she brought it to Jr. "Right on time too! We're just about to close. This one is really nice too. I could tell you took more time on this one though. Got the hang of it yet?" Niko nodded and was going to speak but was interrupted by a woman with a question. "Excuse me, but is that sword for sale? It just caught my eye and I would love to have it." Niko smiled nodded as Jr. went and sold the blade.

"As usual good work today. As a token of my appreciation, and you getting that sale, I'll let you keep the sword that Hisashi has. Did you come up with a name for it yet?" Niko smiled as she told him the name. She then found Hisashi and told him as well. Hisashi agreed with it and they headed home proud of themselves for what they accomplished today. The hawk steady followed as they left. Jr. watched them leave. "That girl is something else..." He laughed and then closed up shop.

"It's name... Is Hatsukoi."

Niko Hatake: Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!

Mood: Don Juan

As the sun was setting, Niko decided they would go visit Sal's. She didn't have to work today, but she liked everyone there enough to be cordial. Niko thought dropping in would be a welcomed surprised. As the industrial quarter came in sight however, things were looking to be going in a different direction.

Niko could see smoke coming from the quarter. Large black smoke clouds to be exact. They were steady rising and as Niko got closer, she could see the flames. The industrial quarter was on fire. She immediately rushed on the scene to help. When she arrived, she was met with a familiar face. "Red?"

"Sensei! What's happened here?" Niko's question was answered by none other than Ryota Uchiha. With a quick smirk, Ryota answered her question. "Glad you're here Red, or should I call you Green? You've grown stronger I see. Using your sharingan yet? Sigh* Never mind that for now though. It seems a riot has broken out here. We've got it under control for the most part but we could use some help with the looters and thugs. What do you say Red, want to help out?" Niko nodded as she took off. She left Hisashi behind to help with the relief. She didn't want to, but she didn't want to be slowed down either.

Niko had four things on her mind. Rei's, Jaiza's, Hiroshi and Sons, and Sal's were Niko's only true concerns. She was quite a ways away from all of them though and would have to deal with everything she found on the way. It wouldn't be hard, but Niko was worried about her friends.

Soon Niko came upon two sets of thugs. One group of three were breaking into and looting a shop, while the other was setting fire to another. Niko couldn't let that happen. She took her trunks stance and activated her current. She quickly knocked out the looters with three punches that were faster than a blink of an eye. Then, she dashed over and quickly kicked the arsonists in the gut and side. Afterwards she sprayed water on the fire using a water snake putting it out. (2)

Niko quickly tied the men up as best as she could and then moved on. She would find a man that was about to hurl a brick threw a window. Still in her current, Niko dashed in, snatched the brick from his hand and threw in on the ground. The man threw a wild punch which Niko quickly dodged and countered. The man fell to his knees as Niko tied him up. (1)

After she was finished Niko moved on. She was getting closer to Rei's when she noticed a man being beaten by a group of four men. Niko quickly rushed over, current still active and dealt with the men promptly. "Man... Don Juan must be really pissed!" Niko looked at the man in confusion. Maybe he knew something. She would question him.

"Don Juan is the owner of most of these buildings here. He came in not to long ago and upped the rent prices on them. After a while, most people couldn't keep up with the payments. He can't legally evict us, because of the roll we play in the village, but he doesn't give a damn about that. He just wants his money. This is punishment for not paying him." Niko shook her head. "Where do I find him?"

A simple question met with a simple response. Niko would make her way to see this Don Juan after she knew everyone was safe. Niko was just outside of Rei's when she saw him come flying out of his door. The rolled on the ground and looked beaten up and broken. The man walked out of the door and cracked his knuckles. "You shoulda paid up when you had the chance!" Niko would come flying in punching the man in the face and sending him rolling about five feet away. (1)

A few more men ran out of Rei's. Niko began to fight them, but there were quite a few. She was doing well, but she did get hit a few times. It wasn't her best work, but Niko dropped all the men. She wiped blood off of her mouth when she was finished. Then, she turned to Rei. "Are you alright?" (1)

"Oh Niko! Thank goodness you're here! Don Juan sent his thugs to deal with us for not paying. If only I could still fight! I'd show them all a thing or two!" Niko smiled when he said that. Even though he was beaten, he didn't let that stop him from confronting them. She admired him for that. She helped him up and then secured the store. Then, after a goodbye and some motivational words, Niko was off to Jaiza's.

On the way, Niko came across multiple incidents that needed taking care of. More looting, tagging, fighting, and general destruction of property to name a few. Niko was making quick work of her enemies, but they were starting to land more hits. Niko was far from finished, but she was getting a little tired. Still, she pressed on. (4)

Niko came upon a young man frantically searching for something. He had lost his sister. Niko was unsure where she might be though. She hadn't come across any young girls. Niko told the young man to head back to Ryota. She had tied up quite a few thugs so he wouldn't have to worry. Niko promised she would come back with his Sister no matter what.

Niko continued on with many objectives. Number one on her list: help her friends. Stopping crimes, finding the sister and confronting Don Juan, were also things on that list. Niko wasn't far from Jaiza's when she was attacked by three thugs with weapons. They must've been waiting there for her. Niko quickly took out the Yamakagashi and started on the men. With two quick slashes and a swing of the whip, the men were all down. They weren't dead, but when the awoke they'd wish they were. Niko tied them up and ran to Jaiza's. (1)

As Niko walked into Jaiza's, she saw a man beating up one of the employees while the others trashed the place. Niko couldn't have this. Not at her friends store. She quickly shot three dragon bolts at the men dropping them where they stood. Niko would go on the help the man up. Jaiza came rushing out of the back. She was just fine. (2)

"Niko! These thugs are everywhere! I'm glad you showed up though. Give it to em for me will ya?" Niko nodded as she moved on. So far that made Rei's and Jaiza's leaving only Hiroshi and Sons and Sal's. Niko was trying to make as much time as she could. There was so much left to do.

Niko continued on. She was running low on wire and needed to find a better way to deal with the thugs. Then, out of nowhere, Niko was caught off guard with a hit that disoriented her. Two men would then pounce her. Quickly, Niko used the electic body technique to render them useless. Niko felt this attack however. She was growing tired and becoming sloppy. She needed a break, but she wasn't allowed one. She would just have to move on. (1)

Niko kept going almost getting to Hiroshi and Sons. They were little a bit away. Niko was making good time even with all the distractions and the side missions she picked up. She would run across two more groups of thugs. She dropped them quickly, but not as easily as she would've liked. She was getting more and more tired as she moved. (2)

Things weren't looking good for Hiroshi and Sons. One of the biggest fires she saw was here. It was one of the biggest smoke clouds. Niko fell to her knees. She didn't make it in time to save them. Tears rolled down her eyes as she was approached by more thugs. Niko had no choice but to fight through the sadness. She managed to come out on top, but it was extremely sloppy and Niko was hit quite a few times. (1)

As much as Niko wanted to take a break she couldn't. She needed to move forward. She would do so until she heard crying from an alleyway. Niko went down the alley to find a young girl. "You must be that boy's sister. You're brother is looking for you. Will you let me take you to him?" The girl was scared but she trusted Niko. Niko would dash back a fast as she could until she reached the young man. He was being escorted by a chunnin. They were so happy to be reunited, that even Niko wore a smile.
Niko turned back and dashed as fast as she could to Sal's. Luckily, Niko didn't run into anymore trouble. She was in for a surprise as well. Soon, Sal's came into view.

Before Niko could make it to Sal's, Niko was approached by Ryota. Apparently he had been following her and taking care of the thugs she tied up. He seemed to have good news for her. He started when they both were attacked by thugs. Niko was about to strike, but she beaten to it by Ryota. Niko could barely see the hits, but Ryota took out the men with two single blows. They both fell to the ground with groans.(1)

"Well then. I see you're doing about as I expected Red. You've taken down quite a few thugs on your way here. Does this store hold any importance to you?" Niko nodded. Sal's was Niko's work. They loved her and she them. It was a mutual feeling and Niko enjoyed it quite a bit. Then with a smile, Ryota spoke again. "I see. Luckily we've found the cause of this. He goes by the name..."

"Don Juan. He is behind this all. He is trying to get money from these people." Ryota was surprised when Niko spoke over him. She was absolutely right as well. Ryota just smiled and shook his head. "Wow Red. You know you're starting to become one of my favorite pupils? Well, do you know where he is too?" Niko nodded. Ryota was at a loss for words. "I would like to check here really fast if I could." Ryota nodded as they walked into Sal's.

Sal's was completely fine. When Niko and Ryota entered, they were greeted with a rude welcome. "GET OUTTA MY STORE YOU PIECES OF...Niko!?" Jr. had one of the swords and Vincent had a metal bat. Even Sal was standing there with a staff, not that he knew how to use it. "Oh boy am I happy to see you! Are you okay? How'd you get here?" Niko regaled everyone there with the story of her arrival.

"Oh I see! You fought your way here huh? And Hiroshi and Sons was in flames you say?" Niko found it strange that Jr. didn't seem to care much about Hiroshi and Sons. Then, Niko understood why. Sal called everyone out of the back. Sally, Joey and the whole crew at Hiroshi and Sons came out. They were all fine.

Niko excitedly gave out her hugs and greetings. Her worst fear hadn't come to pass. She was lucky and safe for now. The people she cared about were too. That's all that mattered to Niko.

"Yeah, Don Juan did this alright. He says he's gonna burn this place to the ground if he doesn't get his money." Vincent spoke on the situation. He seemed right. Don Juan wouldn't stop until he got his money. Niko and Ryota listened and when they dicerned everything was safe, They began to get ready to go.

"So Red, you ready for this?" Niko nodded. After saying their goodbyes, Niko and Ryota headed off. Ryota decided to run a two pronged attack. They spilt up, and he went on ahead. When they did, Niko happened upon more thugs. They were up to no good. Niko had rested so she was able to drop them all no problem. Now it was time to go find Don Juan. (1)

Niko knew where he was. He was at the end of the industrial quarter. His office was surrounded by thugs. Most of them were taken out by Ryota, but still a lot remained. Niko would take them all on at once. (1)

Niko's fight with the thugs was hard. They kept coming and coming. Luckily Niko did her training and was up to date. Niko pulled out all the stops. Her current, dragon bolts, the Yamakagashi, and all her taijutsu. She wass aforce to be recognized. She was the biggest reason they were still able to get this far in the first place. (1)

Niko smiled when she was done. She had just taken on twenty men with ease. Okay maybe not with ease, as she was tired, but she still did so. She would be proud of herself if only for a moment. Niko then looked around. The only thing left was the confront the Don.

Niko burst through the door to see Ryota wrapping up with the Don's men. "You should really hire better men. They are pretty useless against shinobi. Also, why do something like this in a village of shinobi? It doesn't make sense. You were going to be stopped and you knew that. So why?"

"These people owe me money that's why! It's time for them to pay up! But I don't believe it. I hired over a hundred men! There's no way that you could have taken them all out! I don't believe it! I won't!"

Don Juan pulled out a small blade and dashed for Ryota. Before he could do anything, Niko rushed in and disarmed him by knocking the blade out of his hands. Then she dropped low and hit him with a sweeping kick that knocked him to the floor. Finally Niko lifter up her leg and dropped it on the man, holding back some so she didn't kill him. The Don was down and out.
After tying everyone up, Niko had managed to stop the riot with help from Ryota. It was a good trip there and back. Niko save a little girl, she saved countless shops. She even stopped the Don herself. Niko was becoming quite the shinobi. (1)

"So the Don's been arrested? Is he still going to own our stores?" Jr. asked his question and directed it to Ryota. Ryota shook his head. Everyone there was eager to here the future of the industrial quarter.

"No. I will putting his deeds into my report to the Kage. He will be stripped of his position here, that much I can tell you. The kage doesn't like corruption and has no tolerence for behavior like this. Don't worry. Your shops will all be fine now." Jr. nodded in a happy understanding. Everyone was thrilled.

Now all that was left was the clean up. Niko would help in the efforts for now, but it was after dark. She would have to return later to completely fix it. For now, she made sure she got all the shops patched up so no one could enter at all.

Then, Niko went to find Sal. She wanted to let him know she was sorry about Hiroshi and Sons. Had she been faster, this would've never happened. "Niko, it's not your fault. That was the first place the thugs hit. Had I not had a date with Sally... I would've never shown up. I'm just glad I got them all out in time. You have nothing to apologize for my dear." Niko sighed as she gave the old man a hug.

"I'm glad you're okay." He would laugh as they chatted a bit more. Niko was told she wouldn't have work for a while until they got the shops fixed up. That didn't bother her. She was just glad that there was still a place TO work at. Had she lost this place, Niko wouldn't know what she'd do.

Soon it was time to leave. Niko and Ryota made their way to back to the beginning of the quarter. They hadn't spent any time together since their training and Niko thought it good to ask some questions. She even came outright and spoke about her sharingan.

"I've gotten the hang out if mostly. It still is draining but I can keep it active for a while now. I also wanted to thank you for the scrolls. They helped out a lot. I know you said don't bring it up, but will I get anymore training soon?" Ryota sighed and smiled as he nodded his head.
"Don't worry you will. Just have a bit of patience okay? I have quite a lot on my plate. I will come seek you out when I am finished though. It'll happen all in due time okay?" Ryota patted her on the head. This left only one thing left to ask.

"Um... Sensei? I have a question... Have you seen Itsuki? I haven't been able to find him as of late. If everything alright? I'd like to spar with him soon." Ryota's expression changed for a split second before going back to a happy smile.

"He's fine! The Kage actually sent him on a special top secret mission. It's gonna be a long one though. He will return in a few weeks. Until then, if you want to spar with him, make sure you keep up your training. He may be late a lot, but that kid is no slouch. Trust me on that." Niko would smile and take Ryota for his word.

"Okay! Well what are you going to do next?" Niko asked as she gathered herself. "I'm going to file a report on this and then I'm going home. I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow. What about you?" Niko explained to him she was just going to go home. She had done a lot today, as she always does, but she hadn't spent this much chakra in a while. It was time for her to get some rest.

Niko and Ryota parted ways as she made it back to Hisashi. "Niko! You're back! Did you find out the problem?" He was playing with some of the kids who were at the relief effort. Niko just smiled as she motioned to him. It was time to go home.

"I'll tell you about it when we get home."
