Emiko hoped that her work was satisfactory to Sonyo, allowing her to spot what kinds of damages and things that Karuto's body had sustained over the course of the fight with...whatever it was. With what little experience the student had, it would be pretty difficult trying to figure out what to do next. Her tutor wore a content but fairly concerned and/or distressed expression on her face. One of the breaks in his bones was pointed out by Sonyo as she explained to her what was happening within. A brief but pretty concise explanation on fractures was given to her as Emi watched and digested all of the information she was fed.
"There are two basic kinds of fracture; complete and incomplete. The one you're looking at is complete, that means that the break is clean through the bone. They are easier to heal in the long time, and have less chances for complications. It's also a "closed" fracture, as the bone has not pierced the skin. That lessens chance of infection."
"So a fracture is kinda like when a bone gets broken and a complete one is when it's not half way, right?" She asked, hoping for an explanation more akin to that. She moved next to her and displayed how the bone would be healed while Emiko watched her in curiosity. She explained another technique to her aspiring student while they would sometimes look over at different areas of Karuto's body and then jump back up to the bones being set.When her explanation was done, Emiko did the same hand seals as Sonyo did and infused her chakra into Karuto's body to promote that growth of calcium on his lower leg. Emiko looked up at the newest entrants to the room, Masato. Her eyes lit up at taking in his form, a faint blush appearing on his cheeks. He looked so...heroic! Like one of the main heroes from one of her mangas! That pointy chin, the rebellious hair and expression on his face, the abs! Ahhhhhhhh! He's so cute! Which of my shonen books did he fall out of? She said, unable to help herself from staring for a bit before almost fall down on top of Karuto. Her hands caught her at the last minute and just continued the bone healer jutsu going, keeping her head down at Karuto. Though her eyes looked up at Masato every now and again.
At least until he started moving. Emiko let out a gasp as Karuto got up and started walking. He promptly took a few steps before falling down onto the ground again. She hurried over and tried to see if he was dead...yet.

Just how the person working the desk knew Saiko's skill set was beyond Sadayo. It would be really awkward to having been shoveled the wrong information from someone who pushed papers into a doctor's hands. Really, Sadayo tried to look past the doorway but couldn't see more than a privacy curtain and a wall-mounted light.
The thick mass of hair and shoulder span was familiar as one pushed by Saiko. It was an interesting sensation to be written off like a ghost without a story. Sadayo was truly a shadow at the going rate of the things. The puppeteer had learned this Saiko was in the room with a Sonyo, a Chie, and a Masato who just stormed out like a burning bitter bean skiing along a block of ice. Saiko was the non-challant cool cucumber, un-phased, and Sadayo was the mildly, flavorless, daikon. Anyone else was considerably unknown (and for good reason because Sadayo probably would have started comparing everyone with vegetables again. She was feeling hungry).
But any appetite could be spoiled with the contents within the samurai puppet's chest. Sadayo raised her hand and pointed over her shoulder without breaking too much eye-contact.
"A genin had her hands full with an infiltrator. She looked like backbiter probably from that Koga-who-shi group. I'd do it myself but I don't have the capabilities to snuff out information from within, if you know what I mean." The puppet stood attentive behind. Sadayo looked over her shoulder and stepped sideways a bit. This was the first glance she'd have of the drip-drop of blood leaking gradually onto the doll's belt.
A short sigh escaped her and she looked back to Saiko. " You can take a look but it's a mess in there. I don't know if they have any form of identification like a badge, sash, or uniform but the timing of the matter was flawless.

Saiko's single eye landed on Masato's. The man smiled at Masato's response. "Okay." Was all he would say before carrying on with his business. His words and attitude, showing that he really didn't care whether or not Masato listened. In the end it didn't matter. Only to have Masato leave moments later with a medic. The man placed his hands in his pockets as he listened to Sadayo. 'Hmm a genin fighting the Kogarashi.' The man approached the puppet carefully, staring at the body. "No problem. Just give me a moment." The man reached within the puppet and pulled out the rogue shinobi, promptly plopping the person on the ground. Or whatever of the body he could manage to get out of the puppet. The man searched for the head and upon finding it, he faced the face towards him. Saiko managed cover himself in blood in the process but, it wasn't something he wasn't used to. Once he had the face ready, he formed a few handseals with his right hand. At the end of the string of hand seals, the persons face suddenly burst into flames. A few of the onlookers gave very concerning looks towards the pair of shinobi. Saiko ignored them. Those that knew him knew that he wouldn't do anything to harm the hospital. As the persons face burst into flames, all of their memories burned in the smoke. Saiko placed his head close to the smoke and took a wiff. The man's head tilted back and his eye rolled into the back of his head as the memories flooded in. Then with a snap his head was back into it's regular position. The man smiled and looked up at Sadayo. "Well, I'm sure the Uzukage would be happy with the information that you have provided. They are indeed part of the Kogarashi. I'll make sure she gets the information. If you wanna be there for it, that's entirely up to you. All credit goes to you after all."

Her free hand grabbed Saiko's when it gave her a gentle squeeze. She didn't take her eyes off of Koutetsu, however. Even when Masato came Chie's focus remained on her student. A piece of her wanted to become violent with Masato, and harass him for not being around when pieces of her village were literally on fire. But, from what she heard, it sounded like the mission was a success. Shinsei still lives, as does the blond boy that Zhi and Masato are fond of. Chie could also fulfill her promise to Sonyo and give the mother a chance to speak to her son. Overall, Masato was incredibly successful. If only she could find satisfaction in anything.
Suddenly, the pulse in the hand elevated. Chie snapped to her senses when she noticed Koutetsu awakening. When his eyes opened she felt tears gather in her eyes. "Welcome back." She said with a warm smile. She wiped away her tears and cleared her throat. It was unbecoming of a village leader to show this much affection to any individual. She felt her heartbeat return to normal, however. Her child was safe. What more could a teacher ask for?
She knew that she had a job to complete, however. She wasted too much on this personal matter. It was for this reason that, after a deep breath, the young kage stood. "Your haphazard behavior at the lakes demands an immediate suspension from all ninja activities. You are required to gather the proper amount of rest and mediation before you are to see me about resuming your shinobi title." She said sternly. While it sounded like she was taking away his ninja rank, in reality was a thin veiled attempt to not only make sure the boy rested, but also that he would see her before he went into doing anything stupid. Chie's pride would not cause her to admit that she was far more concerned about the child's safety.
She exited Koutetsu's room after giving one more look at him. She moved over to Saiko who finished gathering information from the rogue Sadayo and the genin gathered. Wasn't the genin in question suspended from combat engagement? It could be a different one. All that mattered to Chie is that she got some questions answered. "Saiko." She said sternly. There was no hint of softness despite the moment they shared previously. At this moment the young woman had to be the Uzukage. Her arms folded as a mental barricade as she continued her questions. "Based on your memory extraction, I need information. In particular, I need to know why Kagami is leading the rogue organization of Kogarashi, and not the rogue Takumi." She said. She purposefully left out the part about Takumi being her brother on account that it was not information which needed to be public. Kya, the head of Vortex, was aware of this fact. Her brother's affiliation with rogues had not given her any mercy with rogues. If anything it's only made her stance against them more resolved. After she got this information she also needed to speak to Karuto. She needed to throw hands and praise at the man who threw himself at the demon to postpone it.

Sonyo was confused by the... guilt on Masato's face. He had done nothing to feel such an emotion, and she was about to tell him when Saiko pushed by and Masato threw up his walls like always and ran off. Sonyo let out a slightly frustrated sigh, and turned around just in time... to see Karuto fall flat on his face. Anger boiled in her eyes, all of these damn physical fighters pushing their body when it couldn't anymore. "Karuto!" She shouted, gripping her hands in to fists before stomping over to him. "You are injured! Your a** better stay on this ******** bed or I will tie you to it and label you a fall risk."
She, with the help of Emiko, helped the much larger man back on to the bed in a sitting position. The darkened lines from around her eyes, faded, leaving her normally gentle features in their place. Anger drained from them and was replaced with worry-- a slight frown formed on her face. "You will do nothing but harm yourself more if you push yourself while injured. Please rest." The jinchuriki then turned to Emiko, placing a hand softly on her hair and giving her the warmest smile she could muster, despite the emotional termoil inside her. Seeing everyone from Suna... it brought back memories of Nariomi-- every part of her life there had been so saturated in him and the place where he once resided in her heart was still empty and raw. "You did so good Emiko, I see the promise of a good medical shinobi in you. You did amazing."
Shukaku chuckled in response to Kokuou, a smile gracing his face in his prison of sand and stained glass. "Oh it's dear sweet, Kokuou. You've been gone a long time."

Karuto felt a pair of soft hands help him up off the ground and then immediately admonish him for walking. For a brief second his anger returned his full strength to him, he met her gaze with hard eyes of his own. Just as quickly as it came through it went and the softness and sadness returned to Karuto. He walked with her back to the bed but instead of lying down sat up with a pillow behind his back "I.." He said, obviously struggling to talk through dry lips and parched throat "...I need to see my student. Koutetsu..." He pleased with Sonyo to give him some kind of answer. The beautiful nurse was familiar to him- a Suna holdover. He hoped she would help him.

Emiko was feeling pretty good right about now. Much more than she had when she was with Yoshiro and crying about the events of the Kage's office. It felt nice to be able to help out more even if it wasn't as much as somebody like Sonyo or the Uzukage could. Speaking of which, Sonyo grabbed a hold of the trembling Karuto and Emiko the other side of the still recovering man. Together (though mostly her) they managed to get him back into a bed but not without an outburst from the woman. It even scared Emi, who was simply helping her. Sonyo was scary when something was bugging her. The blonde guy was placed back in bed and everything seemed to be calming down from then on. The wounded warrior spoke, though in a very hoarse voice.
"...I need to see my student. Koutetsu..."
Emi hurried out of the room and into the hallway for a bit in search of something to drink. Although water didn't seem available for her, she did find something else that might work. A doctor was walking by with a little thing of juice they gave to patients. "Hey! Where'd ya get that?" she asked. After a brief summary of the cafeteria they were in, the child came racing back to the room with her arms full of juice boxes. Fruits galore, if it was ready and available in Uzu, it was probably grabbed by her. "Here. Drink this." Emiko cracked open an apple juice box and offered it for Karuto to take. If not, she was just gunna take a few for herself anyway. A hand was placed on her head which made her freeze and smile against her will. Sonyo was beside her, smiling as well though something about it seemed...off.
"You did so good Emiko, I see the promise of a good medical shinobi in you. You did amazing."
"Thank you, Sonyo." The young genin always felt so wonderful when her hair was played with her even touched. She couldn't resist. Her arms soon found their way around the woman and in a tight embrace. After the hug, Emiko looked at Karuto and then Sonyo. "If we're done for now, I was wondering if I had permission to go and work on other stuff. If you need me again, I can come right back. Unless you need me for something else."

Any of the opposition she had towards Karuto quickly drained from her person as he pleaded with her. She let out a soft sigh, closing her eyes... which promptly snapped back open when Emiko gave her a tight hug around her waist. Sonyo stared down at the young girl like someone who happened to see a puppy after theirs had just died; she had to quickly look away and swallow hard before she could return the hug. Emiko reminded her of the daughter she had always wanted with Nariomi... She gave the girl a few quick pats before releasing her. "Of course you can go. Be safe out there, okay?" She turned her attention from Emiko to Karuto, softly crossing her arms.
"He'll be okay, he's in much better shape than you. Shukaku just talked to something, so I imagine the boy is fine and awake now. He will be safe, Karuto..." She looked down, her arms still crossed across her chest like a barrier towards the look on the man's face. "I know that feeling, of failure. I've felt it many times, but you must realize that you've done the impossible.. 'Raiken'. You've done something I've only ever seen Nariomi or Bastet do-- hold off a tailed demon alone."
Her voice caught on Nari's name like skin across jagged glass, and she cleared her throat to try and cover it up. Part of her absentmindedly wondered where Bastet was and what she was doing. Sadayo resisted a wince as Saiko removed the maimed corpse. It would have been better to just leave the slain enemy there in all other situations but there's no comfort in thinking about just who else could have stumbled upon the fallen rogue. She watched the leeching process, though, even if it was slightly disturbing but no one ever said their entire line of work was pleasant.
Her expression couldn't remain completely unvaried: her brow furrows, her mouth scrunches into a frown for a couple seconds, and she looked worn out during the breif thoughts she had about abandoning the mess. She looked to the concerned on-lookers before waving her hand over the mess. She flatly urged the on-lookers to get moving from gawking at their work: "You might want to get someone on this mess."
When Saiko's technique completed the body was left to Sadayo's devices. Nirami's chest snapped open and a thick cable shot out like a striking snake. The clawed-cable wrapped around the rogue's body once before grabbing onto it and returned the mindless remains to wait inside the core. All the while, Sadayo began to seem a tad more alert when Saiko confirmed the target's affiliation with the enemy group and talk of credit.
Now, a remaining on-looker appeared to be a technician of some sort that waited, cautiously, as if the ninja needed something after learning of their deceased baggage. This made it easier for Sadayo to ask to have the body collected and quickly send the technician on their way. "I'll take credit for the kill and capture. But the rest needs to give the acknowledge to the genin who put up the initial fight. Niko Hatake. Please understand that I cannot take what isn't mine. " Sadayo was very firm on the last statement. She would hate to so quickly tarnish the promise of loyalty, awarded by the genin who promised it to her, by blocking out credit where it is due.
As for the matter of "being there" Sadayo wordlessly agreed by her choice to follow Saiko. Her pair of puppets were left stationed against the wall, outside the room, in wait for someone to roll up and collect the corpse.

Koutetsu closed his eyes, briefly trying to refocus, as the Uzukage spoke. Reopening his eyes, he noticed Chie had adopted a more stern tone towards him. "Yes, Uzukage-dono." he replied accepting the chastisement. He hadn't been thinking so much as had been running on instinct or perhaps just running toward danger to escape the pain. I lost my focus. I lost-, Koutetsu began to quietly sob, the tears streaming down his face as he lay face up, staring at the ceiling. His breathing became ragged as the days events caught up to him. As Chie left the room, Koutetsu heard a crash come from the bed at the other end of the room. A familiar voice shouted, "Karuto! You are injured! Your a** better stay on this ******** bed or I will tie you to it and label you a fall risk." Koutetsu rolled his head over and could see as Sonyo helped Karuto back into bed, though he couldn't quite make out the quiet conversation that followed. He took a deep breath, his chest still tight with the pain he was only beginning to acknowledge, "How is," his breath caught for a moment before he continued loud enough to be heard, "how is he?"

Stunned by the boop Emiko had delivered to his nose, Yoshiro stood dumbfounded in the middle of the hallway. His only solace was that Emiko had run off so quickly that she hadn't seen how red his face had turned. Eventually, Yoshiro was able to snap back to his senses, giving his head a firm shake. At this point, the hospital was beginning to grow crowded and Yoshi became aware of just how out of place he was amidst all the medical staff and patients. Not wanting to be in the way, he decided to take his leave, setting a course his family's restaurant. If Emiko was planning to come for lunch, he wanted to make sure that everything was ready for her arrival.
"Oh right. The mess. Anbu will likely have to take care of that." Saiko said with a shrug. "Considering their status as a rogue and all." The man watched as the claw shot out and grabbed the rogue's body, pulling it back into the core of the puppet. Soon after he heard Chie's voice. Saiko immediately turned around to face the Uzukage. As soon as he turned around, he noticed the hardened barricade that she placed around herself. Not physically of course but, the mental one. The man looked at her in the eyes. "Takumi is no longer alive." Saiko would say simply with no sympathy in his voice. The man did not know the relationship between Chie and Takumi. All he knew was a rogue died. "The one in the puppet was captured and killed by Sadayo. However, a genin by the name of Niko Hatake was the one that was fighting them to begin with." Saiko would say. That was all the information that was needed to be given at the moment.

After hearing the boy was safe...or at lease safer he nodded and reclined in his bed with a soft smile upon his lips. He listened to Sonyo's kind words and met her gaze with his "The old man. I remember him...I had always wanted to beat him one day" He was aware of her connection to Nariomi- sure that she wouldn't wanna discuss the tragedy that befell the jinchuriki during the transition "He was a good person, Ms. Rue" He said, using a bit of formality to perhaps soften any perceived blow inadvertently delivered by mentioning Nari's name.
He shifted his attention his student, a wary look upon his face at the boy's appearance follow softly by a smirky grin on Karuto's "I'm making it kid, might be a while until I can defend that Arena title though..." He laughed softly, wincing at the pain.
Around that time an orderly came around and began to wheel Karuto into another room so Sonyo could more accurately asses his condition in private. As he left Karuto had them stop by Koutetsu. He laid a hand on the boy's shoulder "You've been given an enormous responsibility, boy. But it is no time for self-pity. When I return to fighting shape we will work on making this gift work for you" With that he nodded to the man pushing his bed and was wheeled into a new room

Sound ceased to exist for a solid minute. Takumi had died. Her brother was dead. She could not even express her agony. Nor was this the proper place to. For the moment, she had to pretend that she was fine. When she heard the report about the genin who fought, she was able to connect the girl to the person she put on suspension. "Sadayo, Saiko. Whichever of you can find Niko first, you are to have her to see me immediately." She said sternly. Her anger had her wanting to punish the children who dared to defy orders. She wanted to set a firm example on those who disobey her orders.
At that moment, a vortex operative appeared beside her and the two other ninja. "Lady Uzukage. The roads of Eddie have been destroyed." He said urgently. Chie immediately snapped out of her own ego and turned to the man. "The sole survivor claims that Arashigakure made an attack upon us. They utilized incredible chakra machinery to destroy everything. According to the survivor, Uzushiogakure will be destroyed for the Shiro Empire."
Chie paused when she heard the report. Uzushiogakure was now in route to be targeted by Arashi? For the past five years the two have remained in isolated tranquility. What would have made them attack? She first thought this must be a misunderstanding, but then she recalled that the two agents she sent to set up a negotiation with Arashigakure have not yet returned. Her eyes widened with panic. "Find Masato and have him and Zhi go to Arashi immediately. They are to find and return Ferrah and Rinka under any circumstances." She demanded. The vortex agent nodded and disappeared. All the while, Chie looked at the ninja who undoubtedly overheard the report. "Until the two ninja return, we will not engage any further beyond the village walls. I need this village fortified and protected from all angles. Find any ninjas who are operative and protect your home." She demanded. She was furiously concerned with everything going through. There was no reprieve coming forward in her future.
