Sitting at the beginning of the great scar that cuts into Awajishima is the Central Administrative Building. It is a very large, dome-capped building which houses most of the villageβs governmental offices and the complex that comprises the Uzukageβs office. Inside is a large chamber, its perimeter lined with countless offices which rise up the sides forming several ring shaped floors. In the center is a free-standing complex composed of multiple cylindrical rooms of differing heights, culminating in the the largest central tower. Atop each tower is a pool of water which cascades down into the lower towers. The echoes of this flowing water can be heard throughout the central chamber. Sitting atop the largest tower is the office of the Uzukage. It is here that ultimate power over Uzushiogakure resides; where all of the villageβs most important decisions are made.

α"Are we on ten yet?" Nava asked as Kya led them to the base of Awajishima from the Temples. Kya smirked at the layered reference to their late brother's work. It wasn't even from the song Kya knew she was speaking of. Everytime the entourage HAD gone to the office together, Kya had allowed for Na've to give encourage all of them to put down verses, and once they had actually written down something that had been penned by all of them. At the end, Kya had took a line from one of his own songs and asked him the same question. It had served as the mood anytime Kya decided to make a move. Now all of his music, varying instrumentals and tones for any vibe and mood, had been immortalized. For the day, Nakya, Nataya, Na'Chal, and Nava made their first appearance in years. There had been a few changes since the meeting with Ayame.
Firstly, Kya wore a shirt that was attached to her torso with no straps, only holding back her bust tied by an Obi that was golden against the azure blue of the shirt. Warpaint adorned her face, and outlined the visible tattoos (and the ones that weren't.) Scales were painted into her cheeks, and around her eyes was paint in the same shade of purple that always cascaded down her cheeks in thin lines emboldened against the white scaled paint. Her legs were hugged by leggings made of a fabric that wouldn't tear easily and offered her a full range of motion. As always, she was completely barefoot. Her nails were sharp points, colored the same as her shirt save for the left ring and right index finger. The points were scarcely out over her fingertips, however. As for her jewlery, she wore the snake with jewled eyes hanging from her left, with a tentacle ring wrapped around her right middle and pinky fingers respectively. Her stark white hair no longer flowed in a single braid, but rather was a long mass against her light brown skin, held back by a single clip though it reached clear to the back of her knees. Her sisters Nataya and Nava wore less adorned versions of the same. Neither of them had as much ink as Kya. Only Na'chal had one that was visible: a tentacle reaching to hook around his neck and hang over his left side with skulls lining it. Most of the tentacle wasn't filled in either, as if he had more trials yet to follow.
The group swaggered their way in, Kya's eyes spun beyond the simple serpent's emblem into her Sharingan the moment the villagers could see them. Her entourage all did the same: Nava only at her second tomoe, Nataya at her third and Na'chal with his Mangekyo in the shape of a box with lines bisecting each side and dots at the angles. People moved clear of the Truth Bearer's path, some reverent, some fearful of the somewhat notoriously rowdy crew. Whispers of the more reverent of the religious ones were gonna circulate for sure after this. One thing was certain, something that had always been a given no matter what life she lived, what path she walked or what she chose to do: there would ALWAYS be ripples from her mere footsteps. The way she pushed into the village with determination and gusto made it clear that she knew of this, too. Her foremothers had passed great confidence and power to her.
About time she start earning it and moving the oceans as was her born right to do so.
She pushed open the door of the Central Administration Building and strode forward. She took a deep breath, exhaling with a deviant glee as so many eyes double taked. Her bare foot steps were anything but soft as she walked forward as if she didn't even see the people who scrambled out of her way. When they reached a point where walking would no longer prove the most direct path she briefly considered making a statement by burning a path. Buildings were just buildings, after all. Instead, she chose the less nuclear of paths and leaped. Her Entorage too bounded in their own directions, each of them running from wall to wall, tower to tower until finally they reached her office. The strongest ninja to exist, mroe powerful than the new "Emperor" as he elected to call himself, more than Agni and Rudra sitting on their seat under his thumb in... the Storm Village? She almost salivated at the thought of delivering any of them the test. Teach the Arashikages that titles mean nothing without drive. Nakya kicked open the door to San's office without a word to her secretary and walked forward with her siblings in tow. The show of force was anything but necessary, but it was also rudimentary. They walked beside her wherever she went now that they could, now that their parents had been removed from the picture. Na'chal, who served Magatai held something in his hand, stopping as Kya called out a command but holding it out. "Koro!" she ordered continuing to walk forward. It sounded like a word laced with venom, but they each called it back with fervor as Kya stopped at their leaders desk.
She leaned forward, as close as she could get to her with a desk in the way. She gave her closest friend a looking over, looking for what had changed in the years since she had last saw her, before she fell out of motion. She sucked on her teeth, squinting and standing straight. "Sanae... how I've missed you." she admitted firstly. For Kya, the entire thing, her look, her entourage, even her outright prideful visage had been in the hopes that she struck San and everyone as inspiring. While San wielded an entire villages worth in power, Kya still led her religion and all of the reputation, good and bad, that came with that rested on her as the head. Impressing people was useful when it came to getting what you wanted. But... it was disingenuous to say that she wanted an advantage from San. Mostly, she wanted to believe that her hope that San ahd missed her was true. She expected anger. Disdain even, for Kya somewhat abandoning her two years into the opening of the village.
A realization she hadn't even subvocalized for fear of really having to live it was that she had ran from her love. Nakya felt everything at Ten. Being around San, yes she was on ten because beyond the shadow of doubt or promise of eternity she definitely loved Sanae. Romantically? Possibly. Probably. But she had outright shut down the thought that she could explore that reality while her brother's funeral was on the horizon, while Ayame needed her protection, while the UHV's largest remnants needed crushing... while Sonyo was still lost and an ever present layer of confusion on her feelings.
When she really needed Sanae the most, Nakya had chosen to run from her. After the woman had tested and awakened Kya the first time in the valley before the Kyuubi had been stomped, Kya had fallen again. It was hard to understand why so many followed a Truth Bearer who fell so often. It was harder to let them down, though, so here she was. Sanae had trusted Kya, and Kya trusted Sanae. It was why she loved her, sans any romantic inclination. She had never been so close to anyone but Oga, and that was different. And now he was dead. And Chet was dead. The only woman Kya had cared about enough to want to impress, who she cared about so much that the idea of losing her because she lost everyone close to her eventually-
She intentionally never let her thoughts spiral out of control on that topic. She believed in her heart that San had shut her out too. It only made sense. For now, her feelings stayed her own and she would act on it if and when she chose to. Hypocritical for the one who preached to chase what is desired, to not deny ones self? Sure. But what she chased now as not Sanae, not truly.
She turned from the Vortex's Shadow, uncaring for her response and took the hatchet, ornate and adorned with Magatai's symbols: Jashin symbols. A leaf headband, struck through the center, along with a defiled Fire Lord symbol on it and a UHV ribbon all formed it's decorations. She took it from her brother, and as if by Thaumaturgy her voice boomed. "I sit idle no longer, my friend. No, my blood calls upon you for ACTION." Her siblings moved to the side, calling out their word for action: "Ybambe!""The mother has taken me from the grips of stagnation, given me life once more. Nagakaborous demands it from us both. The infinite gyre of the mother pushes my hand, pushes yours. It pushes our nation, Lady Uzukage, Great Turtle Caller," the group around her let out a loud sound akin to an MMMM as they crossed their chests, and then as if calling out to something beyond themselves, digging nails where applicable among weapondry into shoulders. At Kya's induction, hands extended palms out towards the ceiling as she chanted "Buhru, Lahkana!" with her group, who turned to form a cresent around Kya, open towards Sanae. When they broke their crossed arms the room filled with her chakra, infinitely moving tentacles writhing about the edges of the room. Her tattoos glowed blue, as did her Sharingan as she turned, aiming the hachet at Sanae and moving forward, chairs being moved aside as the Crescent and Sphere above it took the place of her Mangekyo pattern in white. "We call for war against the Daimyo. Against his loyalists in the fire country. Agaisnt any remnants of the UHV. The whole of Nagakaborous," she said as the desk too was lifted and moved by tentacles as the room darkened in ceremony, her siblings own rhythmically pushing their chests in and out like hearbeats. Before San, Kya kneeled, and her siblings all did the same as their own bodies glowed less fiercely. She offered the hatchet to Sanae. When war was wanted by the religious leaders, the Chief would take the hatchet and bury it in the frame of their home until conflict ended. It may seem dramatic and arbitrary, but for Kya and her people specifically, and probably for San, Kya offering the hatchet and herself, by extension, to San once more meant deeply more than could be eloquently put into words. This was the whole of her faith being put in San's hands to deny.
This was Kya offering herself once more to the only person she deemed worthy to call upon her as a weapon.

It had been six long years since the destruction of the Leaf village by her own hand. It was during the tumultuousness of the conflict against the UHV that she had decided to forsake the Daimyo before he could abandon them to death or worse. Many had been garnered to her cause throughout the land of fire and a great exodus was undertaken. A lost home was reclaimed, a people reunited in some ways even if some shunned the land and cast her as a villain defiling sacred ground. However something had been missing. Someone close to her had lost sight if not faith in the dream. During times of peace such as the past five years San had time to mull over such things within her new office. She knelt upon a zabuton at a low height desk within an expansive traditional room. Upon the desk was a bottle of sake and small bowls for drinking from it. It was quiet and lonely. Such was a kage's roll in times of peace.
Those years of peace were reflected within San's appearance. Her nails were long and painted where they had once been blunted and clear. Her clothing was tight and overly formal where it had once been flowing and loose. Her hair was smooth and tame where it had once been wild and free. Even her face was painted up with ruby red lipstick and dark liner. However some things still remained the same of Uzu's fox. Her arm was still sealed away at the elbow, and she still wore an eye patch for the hell of it. Fake injuries to take her opponents by surprise. So it was that when Kya entered with her siblings San looked upon them with one golden eye. The gaze was harsh, one filled with irritation. The look only mirrored by lips drawn together as if to say something unpleasant.
Instead she reached out and took a sip of her sake, gently tipping back the bowl to her lips so that the liquid could run down her throat while Kya continued to speak. Even though her face remained unchanging she felt warm, and not just from the sake. It was good to see Kya with drive and ambition again. Honestly San had felt empty, sitting here at the top with no one by her side. Kanzaki had left to travel the world and Kya had become lost in doubt. Even San's grandfather had left her life shortly after they had reclaimed the nation of Eddies, he died with a smile on his face at least. But now, her closest friend and most trusted ally was back. Not just back in a physical sense, but in a spiritual one as well. However much of what Kya desired was troubling to San. Her people had a home, they knew peace for the first time in ages. What purpose did war serve them now? San could think of at least one reason though she did not know if it was reason enough to spill blood. The Empire was a threat, one which needed a reminder that the Land of Eddies would not abide by any attempts at infringing upon their sovereignty. If crushing the Land of Fire would accomplish such a thing than the loss of her people's lives might be worth it to spare the rest. It would also crush any potential threat posed by the loyalists and those who held revenge in their hearts for the burning of Konoha. Still she had her doubts.
"Nakya..." San spoke flatly and motioned with her left arm for Kya to lean in closer. No longer did she accidentally gesture with the stub, and her voice was cold; perhaps it was even distant. "Let me look upon you." If Kya acquiesced to San's request, the woman would grip Kya's face from beneath the chin and gently tilt it to one side and then the next before letting go. "Do you only come before me to ask of me a declaration of war? As only a weapon?" Thus far her casual yo had been eliminated from her speech. Despite the feeling of warmth that San felt, she projected no such thing. Quite the opposite really. How well did Kya really know San? Now more than ever a careful answer was required.

αKya did indeed kowtow to San, allowing her to do something she would certainly have bitten the hand off of pretty much anyone else. She'd been softened ever so slightly by San speaking her name and gave only a huff that calmed the tentalces and her siblings. She leaned forward, allowing her to tilt her face, eyes taking back their dark red hues and tattoos calming until only what was exposed was visible. She didn't have it to hold back her emotions, and so she rolled her eyes thoroughly as San did it.
But San's question did make her smirk. With her siblings, the youngest a tender 17, all able to see it Kya placed her hands on either side of the woman's seat, including the one holding the hachet, and leaned even closer, eyes closing as she sealed her lips down upon the Kage's, if she didn't stop her. It wasn't just a peck, it was impassioned and almost needy, and very much lurid even if it only lasted a brief moment. She pulled herself free and stood, up. "Do not test ME San, god has already reminded me of my purpose." She ignored the groans and whistles behind her.

Usually, one's first kiss came far before the age of twenty-eight. However San had become kage at a young age due to the whims of a possibly unstable woman. A young kage was also a busy kage. Thus she had managed to let the years escape by with minimal romantic contact. However she was glad that her first kiss had been stolen by Kya of all people. After the ways Kya had touched her, accidental or otherwise, it wasn't as if she hadn't thought about it. Indeed, Kya was her closest friend and most trusted ally. It made sense that she felt for her and wouldn't mind more. Still San was but a novice in romance, her sour face was broken apart by that kiss; it softened and grew red with embarrassment at the hooting of the siblings. They would need to discuss this later.
So it was that San learned Kya had come back for more than just war. That knowledge helped to aid San in the decision she was about to make. War for the sake of progress was foolish, but if ones goals and needs supported it then so be it. With her closest confidant returned and having expressed hidden feelings San reconsidered the information before her. It was time for this fledgling nation to flex its muscles. "Hand me the hatchet yo," she whispered quietly, blush still present. When it was in hand, the weapon would be flung and buried into a beam along the wall.

αKya held San's eyes for an intense few seconds when she finally did speak, a hushed tone that warped her ears. When the hachet went flying into the wall, Kya and her siblings stood proud. "Ybambe!" she called, and each of them called it back to her with a stomp. The combined force of their stomps would rock the room, and this would repeat three more times before Kya held up a hand. "Sanae, this village is the culmination of dreams beyond just yours or mine. Defending it is my upmost concern. That means that I, alongside the military that have done more than well to defend these lands, will take this fight to destroy every single one of those who would seek to do us harm. Once in the past I was allowed to take up the idea of being in the Anbu corp. My siblings and I are all ready for training and induction into the Vortex as well." It was only slightly a request for permission to begin their training into those corps as well as a confirmation that she wasn't kidding about wanting to get back to work.
"So much to do, so little time." the room would be pushed back into order, with Kya walking backwards into the hallway once and for all. The woman took a seat, her siblings simply keeping their place behind her. "I'm sorry to be so curt and intense, kind of, but I must move quickly. Life has come roaring back at top speed, and I must stay ahead of the wave. Oh, and Ayame is awake. Hope it doesn't anger you to hear, but Sonyo showed up at the door, and immediately after Kanzaki did too." She dropped those three bombs like one would say "the kids are doing fine."

The lingering eye contact was broken when Kya looked to speak. Her chant echoed by the siblings was impressive but the decision still weighed heavily on San. There would be deaths, those whose dreams would be subsumed by the tidal force of destiny. Hopefully this was the correct path forward. Kya's request was at least one that helped to put San's mind at ease. It was a familiar thing and reminder that the woman was here to stay. "I expect that you'll be running it in no time yo." That much was more or less true. Given Kya's drive and ability, San fully expected that in a relatively short amount of time she would be naming Kya as the head of VORTEX. On that day San would no doubt be smiling just as much as she was during this moment.
The other news that her friend bore was no less displeasing. Sonyo had appeared which would lift Kya's spirits. Kanzaki had come back into the fold after years of wandering. Ayame could now pursue her own destiny once again. It reminded San that she had many that she needed to speak with now. "It seems that I have much to do once more." As she inhaled deeply, San felt her blood stir. Things were in motion once more and she needed to stretch herself.

αThe Uchiha offered Kya the most sincere smile she could when the woman somewhat lamented that there was much for her to do. "It would appear as though, per the norm, I move to action and the world follows me. I'll see what those upstarts in the Vortex Corps think I should do before I officially take up the mask." From there, Nakya stood from the seat. "I should go," she Commander Sheparded as she began walking with her group once more. "I'll see to it the Vortex ninja are not broken too heavily when I join up. Oh and..." she flashed her sharingan over her shoulder, peering into the cage where the monster was held. She stood in knee deep water from the perspective that she had of the situation. She saw a hanging tag in the air, the seal that held back a creature that was pinned to the ground, all nine tails pierced, it's knees digging into the ground, a heavy collar on it's neck and it's arms chained out to otherside in the water. "Aww. Poor foxy," Kya chided at the beast. A low, rumbling growl like a laugh reached her ears, and Kya was back in her own mind. "Hmm. He seems uncomfortable." Without another word the woman was gone.

Lilah took her time walking up the long stairs to the Uzukage's office."Who even needs an office this high up, what a load of s**t." She mused to herself as she took her time climbing the longest staircase in the world. Her day had been absolutely s**t but in the end, that was nothing new. She refused the village's aid for anything, she wouldn't take housing or money. She'd earn her own and if she couldn't afford a house then so be it. She lived on the streets since she arrived here and she almost liked it better than some house. She didn't want to get comfortable here. She hated this place and feeling like she belonged would disgust her. It was bad enough she was a ninja, let alone one in the service of this village. She could take care of herself on the streets anyways, it wasn't difficult to find food or earn enough to eat. The bathes were affordable and she didn't need clothes. What she had was fine, she'd just end up ripping anything else up. So may as keep the old uniform clothes she was given back in the UHV war. She looked like she was wearing shorts but they actually used to be pants. They were mostly torn up from a mix of traveling, battle and her bloodline. Her black jacket was the least torn up through the ends of it were from traveling. That jack kept her warm on cold nights so she had always taken it off in combat as to not damage it.
Now, why exactly was Lilah heading towards the kage's office, a person she despised. Well, she didn't exactly know. She was simply called and no message was given. Perhaps it was to congratulate her on being a Genin. Or another attempt to get her to take the village money and get a house. It could be anything. She really hoped it wasn't the stupid Genin thing, there was nothing impressive about it. Any moron her age could become a genin, all you had to do was learn some jutsu and not suck. Anyone could do it, hence why twelve-year-olds were Genin. All she knew is that she needed to be much stronger, any ninja worth a damn could kill her. How could she take revenge if she was so weak? The only reason she survived the war was thanks to her bloodlines but she couldn't just rely on those. She had to train and get stronger and improve those gifts as well. "Least I can make her wait on me, that's something at...." She trailed off as she finally reached the top and the Kages office. Only to find that it was currently empty. "Son of a b***h. After all that I still have to wait on her." That turned Lilah's mood even more sour as she sat down and waited. She clenched her fist as her mind drifted to more unpleasant things. Thinking about the war just made her even angrier, and while that drove her she couldn't lose her cool and attack the Kage or something stupid. So she punched the wall instead to vent a bit of frustration before going back to clenching her fist. She would probably have to wait for a while
Making his way into the complex, accompanied by the sounds of his thick leather boots rapping upon the stones below him. Kairi let out a heavy sigh. While what he had said to the girls was true in large part, it did make him uncomfortable, he neglected to inform them as to why. Personally, he hated the way the vast majority of officials behaved. As if their very existence elevated them above the masses. Like they were better than them. That belief raised several dozen issues within him and ultimately lead to why he was uncomfortable in the building in the first damn place.
Next came the part he hated even more, not the stairs no he could give a damn about the stairs. But the ascending towers, psychologically, physically and symbolically, placing those in power above the masses. To him, a leader should be among their people. Should lead them directly from the front. Eat the same food, live in the same quarters, share their sufferings and enjoy their successes. Though he was pulled from his thoughts by the sound of a fist hitting the wall. While he knew full damn well that San could easily handle herself. He could not undo the decade and a half of royal guards training instilled and and bred into him.
With the sound of leather hitting stone he mounted the stairs at a faster pace than normal, skipping one or two here and there until he reached the top..... And was greeted by the sight of a woman dressed in torn up clothing. While his posture was tight, and his left hand lightly gripped the strap of his shield, spear adorning his right hand. He made no moves to encroach upon the woman nor menace her. In fact he made no sounds of any kind not even breathing. Though when it became clear that the woman wasn't a threat he relaxed and rose to his full height. Though his eyes did not leave hers for a milisecond. Though the fact of her existence outside of the room, did indicate two things. First San wasn't in. Second she was here to see San. Finally breaking the eye lock he looked her over as if he would size up a person while on guard duty. Though despite not seeing a headband on the woman, he knew far better than to trust wolves in sheep clothing. After all, he was one. His clothes just had armor plating. Leaning against the wall he relaxed his grip on his spear and let it hit the floor with a solid thump, betraying its actual weight. Without returning an eye to the woman he spoke,"You got a name or shall I call you orupoka."
Lilah was busy being bored to death sitting waiting for the Uzikage to eventually show up. It was beyond sickening to have to wait for her when she called her up here. "The woman could at least be on time for meetings she set." She grumbled to herself just wanting this to be over already. Then suddenly she could feel hostile intent, it wasn't some jutsu or anything. More like a keen sense that she got from all the fighting she did. Instinct really but she trusted it, it kept her alive. She was correct though as a man with a spear and a shield stood atop the stairs. She reacted quite quick as she was already up and a handsign formed. "Byakugan" With that her golden eyes quickly turned to the standard white of the Byakugan. She made her way into a fighting stance, well as much of a stance as one could have when they didn't know any actual taijutsu stances. It wasn't bad but it wouldn't hold up to any real style by far. She knew that but she was at least ready. So they stared at each other as she was ready to fight for her life if need be. However, it seemed as if this man was a ninja. He backed down though that didn't stop him from checking her out. She sat back down and deactivated her Byakugan seeing no reason for it now.
The man asked Lilah a question and she didn't really want to talk to him. She would answer but it wouldn't be the way he wanted. In fact, it would be hostile, but in this case, it was how she felt. "It's none of your business. Now stop looking at me, your gaze makes my skin crawl and I don't give a s**t if you like the way I look or whatever. Look the other way and don't talk to me. I want nothing to do with you so just wait for the kage far away from me. Bad enough I have to wait for her but worst is that I have to be in the same room with you. So ******** off." With that she figured it would be enough to get him to stop looking at her and leave her alone. No guy wanted to deal with a girl like her, even if she was good looking. The only problem she had now was having to wait here with him until the kage returned. She did not want to be here right now and let alone in the presence of another ninja. Whenever she saw ninja it took a lot of effort just to not go for their throat. Too many bad memories and even though these ninjas didn't do it, they didn't particularly help either. Towns and villages just like hers suffered the most and people like herself suffered. She could never forgive the former leaf ninja for that ever.
As was typical for San she entered her office through an exterior window. Partly because it was fun, partly because she didn't care to use the stairs. The tatami mats of the room had been stored away in her abense leaving her feet to clack against tile as she made her way to closed door of the office and opened it so that she could peer into the reception area. Kairi had arrived already and so too had a ragged looking young woman. Her secretary was nowhere to be found, no doubt he had taken a lunch break. Her one gold eye looked over the two and their postures before taking a deep breath and speaking up. "If you two are going to fight do it at the academy or out in the woods. I don't care which." With that she turned around, and walked back to her desk to take a seat behind it. ""

So very many things happened so quickly. First, the young woman revealed her hand already, in the form of a Byakugan. Rookie. He did have to admit, he enjoyed stomping Hyuuga, especially those who picked up weapons. So he would let out a chuckle once she finished her little rant. After a moment he would lay his spear across his shield arm and smile,"Man, I dont know whats funnier. The fact you think your a threat, or the size of your ego. I like my women with class, something you clearly lack. So I'll have to pass Orupoka." After all, he had gone toe to toe with the ninetails five years ago and walked out alive. This woman whos lack of experience betrayed itself in her form, didn't hold a candle to that thing.
Though their playful back and forth was interrupted by the clicking of Sans shoes, and shortly after, her appearance on the other side of the door. Though her words elicited another chuckle,"Apologies Mi'lady. But no fight here, just a friendly exchange of words is all." Making his way into the office he would give a simple bow,"I'll just cut to the chase and not take up your time. I would like clearance for two things. First to instruct the new students in close quarters battle drills. Second, for clearance to begin studying for the Vortex entrance examination. For all intents and purposes I've been training and sitting on my laurels for too long. Getting antsy." As far as his peers of his rank went, he was head and shoulders the most experienced Gennin, not to mention exceptional at close combat.

Lilah Hyuuga xxxxxx. β₯Genin
Lilah just wanted to be left alone and this guy was being such an a**. She clenched her fist stopping herself from just flat out punching him. Or at least trying to punch him. She had a feeling that he was stronger than her, most ninjas were. "Why don't you just leave me the hell alone a*****e." That was all she said on the matter. It was then that the kage finally graced them with her presence. The kage acted as if they were fighting, more like she was trying to be left alone. Though seeing the Uzukage did make Lilah clench her fists more. That was apparently the lady that led the leaf village back in the war. The one who decided it wasn't worth bothering to even try and help the country. The woman who didn't bother helping and just left towns and villages to their fate. She hated the Uzukage and it probably showed a little bit. At the very least it would look like she didn't want to be here which was also true. She didn't really make any apologies because she hadn't done anything wrong and certainly was not fighting. "He's the one who flew up the stairs ready to fight for whatever reason. I just want to be left alone while I waited. It's on him." No way was she going to be blamed for his actions.
Lilah was ready to go into the office and get whatever this was done with. Though suddenly the guy who arrived after her just stepped up and basically made his request. Her mouth formed a frown as she grabbed her bandaged arm and gave it a squeeze to keep in control. This guy was such a jerk, she had literally been waiting longer than him. She technically had an appointment or close to it. She had been called up here at the very least. "You know you are such an a*****e. Guess your mother never taught you how to wait your turn as a child." She said to Kairi walking into the office to get this done with. She didn't really want to irritate the kage for obvious reasons. Knowing someone that powerful they wouldn't probably hesitate to just kill someone like her for fun. That's how ninjas were, disgusting. "I was told that you wanted to see me or something like that. If this is about the Genin thing no need to say anything about it. Being 19 and becoming a Genin is nothing impressive in fact it's flat out embarrassing. So I'd rather just forget it. Only another thing I could think of is that the village wants me to take their money and housing again. I've already said I don't want it and I don't need it. Unless its some mission assignment or something." She said trying to keep her tone and words civil as to not upset the precious kage. She hated this place so much.
"I don't give a s**t about who did what. You two fighting isn't a problem." San pinched the bridge of her nose with her one and only hand out of frustration. She hated dealing with rowdy genin that lacked understanding. San's one golden eye shifted to look at Lilah, observing her ratty appearance, argumentative behavior, and her stated rebellious desires to live on the damn streets when housing was provided for all citizens. "If living on the streets and doing things your self on your own time is your wish in life chase it with all your intensity. However that's not why you're here. You were called here because it's customary that I see all genin at least once. What you make of that is yours." Wrenching up a draw in her desk open, San pulled out a headband before throwing it at the girl. Kairi would probably know by now that this was how she tended to hand out all of the handbands. San had never been one for formality and even now, with her more prim and proper dress she still manage to be rambunctious and "energetic" when it came to how she did things.
"That's yours now and you will wear it if you expect to remain a ninja of this village." San had seen the girl's psych reports and wasn't exactly thrilled, still there was hope for everyone to realize their destiny so long as they breathed. Perhaps the actual life of a ninja would change the girl's attitude. Her eye then shifted to Kairi. His request was bold, she liked that. Still only chuunin were permitted to enter into the VORTEX program and to teach at the academy. "Kairi your ambition is good but I need to see more." A smirk slowly spread across San's lips as an idea formed within her head. "Train her and make sure to test her. If you do a good job I'll grant your request."
