Helia is a very open-minded person. He thinks he's "seen it all", even if that's not the case.
He has a very strong will, which may make him very stubborn.
He tries to be humble, as he hates being the center of attention.
However, Helia also has a very brave side to him,
being courageous whenever he needs to be, and facing his problems head-on.

Bio:
Helia's mother was an angel.
She had fallen in love with a human at first, later to become Helia's father.
However, shortly after they were engaged, Helia's father was attacked by vampires and presumed dead.
Except, he didn't die, he was turned.
Despite being a creature of darkness, Helia's mother still loved him.
Their love was extremely strong, and they soon had a child.
At birth, he showed signs of duality.
Markings covered his face that showed his celestial heritage. As well as unusually colored eyes.
The child had very pale skin and dark hair like his vampire father.
He was given the name Helia.
The meaning of the name Helia is: Of the sun.
Sadly, his mother was forced to return to the celestial plane,
leaving him with his father.
Over the years,
His father showed great concern over him since light was supposedly a vampire's weakness.
At 13, he watched his first sunrise.
It stung his skin, but instead of burning up,
his skin had a strange glow to it.
When he turned 17,
he finally finished school and then inherited his father's home at 21 after he finished college,
majoring in music and minoring in business.
Over the years, he had been a bit of a nerd,
enjoying simple things like comic books and board games.
However, not everything was all fine and dandy.
Helia had trouble controlling his vampiric tendencies.
He would often get himself in trouble for stealing fruit and draining the juice out of it.
Most people would also look at him sideways whenever he walked by,
due to his unusual markings.
There was a day he remembered clearly.
The first time he smelled blood.
A girl had gotten herself injured during one of his classes.
On top of this, she would often sit next to him.
That day was no different.
Her hand had been cut a badly a few hours before,
and the nurse tried to bandage it up to no avail.
His senses became amplified, and he attempted to feed off her-
which of course freaked her out, and nearly got him expelled.

Magic Abilities:
❇ Light - Helia can make an orb of light in their hands,
make objects glow with one touch, and steal light from
other objects.
In order to manipulate light in an area, there must be pre-
existing light.
❇ Mending - Like his mother, Helia has the power to heal using holy magic.
However, the more he uses this spell/the larger the wound,
the more prone he is to severely burning his hands.
❇ Dhampir Physiology - Helia has enhanced Agility and speed due to being half-vampire.
He also ages at a much slower rate.
❇ Charm - Using his Charisma from being of both vampiric and celestial descent,
Helia can charm someone into doing his own bidding.
However, someone with a high willpower can resit the effects.
❇ "Danger" detection - The markings he obtained from his celestial ancestry tend to glow when 'danger' is about.
It is more of a curse than a blessing though since it seems to activate at the worst times.
(It is able to detect the presence of Liches, necromancers, and zombies.)
Strengths/Skills: (Non-magic)
✩ Somewhat resistant to sunlight (Due to Celestial Heritage, He is twice as resistant than the average vampire)
✩ He fully understands music and can sing/play instruments (mostly a ukulele) well.
✩ Pretty humble, wont go out of his way to brag about any skills he believes he possesses or about his heritage
✩ Very persuasive (Or at least he thinks he is in a way)
