[Thalion]

Shen had guarded what would one day become the obsidian palace, driving any away with a stern look or a sharp word. He had two of his guards posted outside to ensure that no one came or went without Shen's interference. Of all the B'alam woven to the flame, he had found the perfect one to complement his soul. She had been perfect in every way, forged by the Weaver's hand just for him. Perhaps it was the Weaver's way of blessing him for the work he was undertaking, the burden he had forced himself to shoulder for the sake of his tribe and for the wellbeing of history itself. She could see beyond, much like his adopted daughter, and had every quality arranged just perfectly. Her coat boasted the sigil of his nation- a roaring dragon -her coat was red as the firy blood that ran through his kin, and her horns were like twin crowns gracing her. To her and her alone did Shen show the softer side of himself that the world was forbidden from even knowing a whisper of.

Together, they had carved a hopeful tribute to the Weaver- and together they watched as the idols were replaced by mewing cubs. The fire lord had declared the birth of his children with a roar like thunder. Messengers were sent out to inform the city of the arrival of their future rulers.

And today they would meet them.
The cubs had found their feet, opened their eyes, and were able to walk and observe. Each had their given name and their family name -each ready to be adored by their future subjects. Which would take up his crown was still to be determined. The order of carving meant nothing to him- it was the spirit within. Which of his children would take his passions and push forward? Which would he have to crush under the burden of the black throne? Which would have the nerve to spill blood when defied and speak truth like a flame? That would reveal itself in time.

He padded from the palace, fully adorned in the fine silks and jewlery of an emperor and led his small family out towards the dragon gates into the city proper.

"Walk with pride, children. Horns up, paws moving with purpose."

Jin Lung

The youngest tah of Shen and Jing Lung loped awkwardly after his father's large paws. His golden fiery eyes blinked and tried to focus the dark blazy burl that was what he knew as his father. Heavy wide paws slapped the ground unevenly as the wobbly cub did his best to fallow his father's instruction. Little sharp claws dug into the ground, and white tip tiffed tail raised straight like a poll as new cub steadied himself.

If only all the blurries would go away!

Eyes narrowed and his sight focused revealing a determined gaze. White whiskers flared forward and a satisfied huff left the cub as the large Tah before him became clear in his sight. As Jin Lung knew as his father, adorned with gold and silk-he had seen him clearly along with his mother before his physical sight was even known.

His father's words caused the cub's fur to stand slightly on end with excitement.

'Walk with pride'

Istantly Jin's chest puffed as it felt like the right thing to do. Tail straightened even more and with a glance over to his father the cub looked at his horns.

'Horns up....Walk with purpose'

Straightening and stretching his neck the cub did his best to reach his father's horn height. In doing so with each taken step he looked like a unstable colt practicing dressage.

Looking straight ahead, the cub trotted closer to his father as he work to keep his regal pace.

----

Jing Lung

Jing Lung proudly and lovingly look at her emperor as he called to their newly woven cubs. A gentle purr left the mother as looked to their cubs making sure their pelts and manes looked appropriate for their presentation. Ears twitched forward as she watched their 'youngest' find his paws and hobble awkwardly after Shen. Tilting her head, the tip of her tail twitched as a thought of worry quietly pricked at her thoughts, his gaze had been strange like her own and their adopted. The mother could not help but be concerned that his own sight was...missing like their own, Tanith. Studying him for a moment, her pristine tail shifted thoughtfully. Little Jin seemed to move with too much purpose to be lacking in sight. Only time would tell.

A thoughtful gaze shifted over to Tanith, where a soft smile was place upon her.

Jing Lung's motherly gaze moved to the rest of their carved litter.

"Come little ones, after your father." The Mother coed and nudged the kittens encouragingly forward with her royal snoot. She rose gracefully to her own elegant paws, eyes tentatively remained on her cubs making sure they where to listen and follow after their father....

A heavy puff of smoke left the blacksmith's maw as he waited by the gate of the palace. He head heard Shen's roar and proclamation of cubs, and notably he showed up. Even the grouchy older b'alam knew it would be best for him to show up. Or he might hear about it later. Looking at the gate of the palace, the Black Smith made sure it was in good repair with his gaze. Silently he inspected it with careful ember eyes. A dark gray ear turned as the smoke from his maw reached his nose, perhaps it would be best to put the pipe out, smoke he thought would not be best for little lungs....

Thoughts moved to his pipe and they carried it from his maw and turned the carved piece upside down. With a gentle tap on the lava rock under his paws, he removed the embers and empty the pipe. His careful thoughts carried the item where he let it rest between his ear and horn. Looking to the pile of ash at his paws, he carefully brushed it away with his tempered paws.

Taking in a slow deep fresh breath, Forge looked up to the gate once more, before taking a glance around his surroundings seeing who all would appear for their fire 'lord's cub reveal.

---

Adonis

Adonis slowly made his way to the entrance of the palace, taking in a slow breath he made his journey out of obedience and curiously. Their fire Lord called them, so he listened. His curiosity couldn't help but wonder if he would see his son, everyb'alam should be present to see the Emperor Shen's cubs. Adonis wondered if he was grown, and if he had done so strongly. He last seen Ajax as a cub and left him in the arena with the great solider, Kyle. He had no doubt that Ajax had grown into his large paws by now. Perhaps gained some scars from his training or missions. Either way, he was sure his son was still alive and thriving like the great flame he was. He was from the clan of Na'raan after all.

Periwinkle eyes looked about the palace entrance, as his white paws halted. A sigh left the elder, he didn't see his dark cub amoung the few that had already arrived. Perhaps he would arrive later...or maybe not at all, Tah Kyle was a strict teacher. No Doubt Ajax would be eager to follow any order.

"He's not here.." The Elder sighed softly to himself, his white ears dropped back just a little as he tried to remove the disappointment from his maw and tone. His pristine white tail til touched the ground just a little bit...

Sir Warden followed quietly at his uncle's side, he could feel the excitement coming from him. Admittedly Sir Warden was a little hopeful as well, and intrigued to see his younger cousin. If he would show up...After all, he may be busy.

As they showed up at the palace entrance, Sir Warden's yellow eyes looked around. So Few had shown up to their leader's call...which was a bit strange. Perhaps the death of the 'traitor' had something to do with that....

The White and black Tah hushed such treasonous thoughts away with the forward of his brow. A lot had happened recently...he didn't blame anyone that didn't show to see their ruler's cubs. In honesty, Sir Warder was only there because of his uncle....and a part of him wanted to see Ajax to...

A crimson ear turned to hear his uncle's faint words.

"I am sure he will arrive in time, it is still early and It is an important event..." Sir Warden whispered softly to his elder, careful to make sure his words were quiet to not be easily overheard. They where after all their to see the new litter of their ruler

---

Pink nail tapped lightly on the lava rock as their owner, Crucible slowly made her way to the entrance of the palace. Her steps were slightly uneven and seemed slightly labored. Giving a glance to the two Tah’s of Naraan, Crucible gave a subtle and respectful nod. One of her eyes was covered and her dark pelt seemed a bit tattered.

Taking a sit near the back of the gathering crowd, Crucible made sure that she was notably there. It would be suspicious if she wasnt. Taking in a slow breath, the Nan released a tired breath. A single green eye took note of all those that started to show to their master’s call.

---
[ Forge ]

Forge's dark ear turned back as a few familiar maws showed up for the event. His stern brow raised slightly as Crucible's ebony pelt moved slowly across the small gathering. A breath snorted past his calloused nostrils. Admittedly the Black Smith was a bit surprised to see the brawl captain, she usually stayed near her arena-even if the fire events had been disbanded. No one showed up to brawl in the fire tribe, not since the boarders had been closed. She didn't take too kindly to the ruling, and didn't seem to care too much about their new leader.

Dull ember eyes moved from the Nantlil to the two other Tahs. He didn't recall their names, but knew their pelts as those of Naraan. Their clan was large, if not the largest of the fire tribe. Even with the recent lost of one of their own by the claws and horns of Shen...

The Traitor...The sound the Nan's neck made colliding with rock cracked though the blacksmith's memory.

A heavy huff left the Tah, as he closed his eyes and looked back to the palace gate. Eyeing his own craftsmanship he hoped to distract his thoughts.

His maw clinch tightly together.....

---

[Sir Warden]

Sir Warden's yellow gaze glance toward Crucible as she silently slipped by. Crimson ears turned back. So even she would come from her cave to see the cubs of the fire emperor. Or perhaps it was to see a grown pupil as well....

The grown adult rolled his eyes to himself at the thoughts. Sure Ajax had been....Special....in a way, but admittedly he was a little jealous at the attention he was getting. A heavy breath left Sir Warden's maw, and he shook his head scolding himself.

Shame...Shame on him. Shame on him-that is all he was to the family. He attacked his own uncle, and in turn Ajax as a cub-attacked and scared him...and Sir Warden yet to earn the pride of being Naraan. Shamefully bore the scars made by his cousin(-a cub at the time.) on his crown and horns. How dare he be envious of him, that had earned their family's respect and eagerness.

It still seemed he had a lot to learn and atone for...But still-his sister had been killed by Shen....

She was called a 'traitor', and It was a 'black mark' on their clan....

"Uncle...." Sir Warden stepped closer to Adonis and his maw lowered his voice. "I know you want to see Ajax-" The younger adult released a sigh. Perhaps it was a blessing no guard had showed up yet-or anyone that would know of their family.

"But..." Hesitantly he spoke...and his dark tail flicked slightly.

"...Should we really be here? So soon since...."

Sir Warden's words fell short and halted in his maw as he couldn't bring himself to say it

---

Nizah

"You should be careful with your words, Sir Warden." Nizah spoke kindly yet firmly to Sir Warden as she step beside Adonis, her green eyes focused on the gate of the palace.

"And you should be asking yourself, if you are the one that should be here." His Aunt spoke to him letting her eyes rest on her nephew. Adonis was too soft spoken and...elegant with his words. Sir Warden seemed to best understand...or respond better to more bluntly used ones.

"You could cost our clan everything, Warden. If you are not careful. " Nizah addressed bluntly. Her words meaning more then just him being careless with his words, no matter how soft spoken they are.

"Ajax isn't here to stop you this time..." She added her cutting remark with a flick of her tail before looking back to the gate. Carefully he dark paws shifted as her hunches lowered to a sit beside her brother-in-law, Adonis.

"It's good to see you so hopeful, brother..." Nizah spoke with a nod to the other elder.
---

[Adonis]

Adonis' periwinkle eyes caught the sight of Crucible’s white horns. Cream colored ears perked forward slightly, and his eyes quickly moved from her to the surrounding area. A bit of hope caused his tail to happily shift and his gaze shine just a little bit. If she was here-Ajax had to be on his way. Crucible had been an early teacher of his, and she did not come out of her cave without good reason. However....the Fire Emperor's revealing of his cubs, would perhaps be that ‘good’ reason....

yes....That was important. A smile stretched across the elder's maw, he was hopeful. Offering the older Nan a nod of respect, he let her remain by herself. His eyes had been keen to notice her tattered appearance, did the Fire Empress see more with her magical sight after Iokaste life had been taken from her?

He hoped not....They had already lost so much.

Adonis pulled his eyes from the Nan, as Sir Warden spoke. His ear turned to listen to his soft words....

The elder's white maw started to open, but before he could respond, Nizah's blunt words silenced the younger Tah.

"Fire burn with in you, Nizah. " Adonis answered softly with a kind smile. Giving a glance over to his nephew Warden, he offered a little sigh. There was nothing more that needed to be said about that, he had been scolded enough-by his more stern Aunt.

"How are the cubs?"

Their Clan never seemed to stop growing, Thank the Weaver.

Yahui slowly padded after Jing and the cubs, keeping enough of a distance between them to not include herself in the showing, but enough to at least make her presence known in the group closest to Shen and the rest. She smiled softly at the cubs, watching them bound around and proudly follow their parents. It was a joyous day indeed! A bright a vivid future now looming over them just by the presence of the cubs alone.

Once out in the open, she glanced around, taking note of all the different faces around them. Her tail twitched a bit as she spotted a few very familiar faces... including one rather gruff one she'd noticed to be growing fond of. An ear twitched back slightly as she allowed a soft smile to grace her black lips in his direction before returning her attention to follow Jing, Shen and the cubs.

Jin Lung turned a single dark ear as he thought he heard following paw steps, he didn't take a glance back-but he was sure it was his siblings. Their father and mother called to them to move and present themselves. White-tipped stubby tail raised proudly, as his golden-ember sight remained on his father.

Strange new smells engulfed his senses, it was the scent of others. The cub's paw steps made a eager hope, there where others that had been gathering just for them. Boldly reaching his father's long regal strides, he trotted along to keep up evenly with him. Jin turned his head to look at the strong tower that was his father. His intense unique gaze found his dad's eyes, and a heavy constant purr trilled softly from his maw. His proud tail crooked respectfully, and instinctively.

----

Jing Lung, looked from rousing the rest of her cubs to take a thoughtful glance up to her friend and Shun Lung's adviser; Yahui. She was happy to have such a loyal friend nearby.

Her careful senses and nose picked up the gathering crowd, It seemed that few have already answered their emperor's call. Jing's smile faltered ever so slightly with a passing thought. She trusted her Lord and bounded to protected their cubs, but what if not that gathered where their to see the cubs...?

But took it as an opportunity and a boon at vulnerability.

"Yahui." Jing Lung looked up from her cubs to her nearby friend.

"Can you please make sure the guard is present?" The Empress asked softly, a mother's nature is to be cautious. Though she was sure Shen Lung had made sure such precautions were made. She just wanted to make sure they were indeed present

Yahui's red eyes shifted to Jing Lung, followed by the swivel of her tan ears to lay focus on the Empress' worries. She nodded softly with a small twitch of her tail. "Of course, Jing Lung." she bowed her head softly. She turned from her position, twitching her tail in such a way to remind her dear friend that she worried too much, but continued to comply with her request anyways. In such a situation, Yahui knew one couldn't be too careful.

She started looking for those familiar faces and reinforcing their positions around the family that stood at the center of all the attention.

As Forge looked back to the gate to distract his thoughts, his careful ember eyes caught the sight of a familiar set of ruby ones looking at him. Dark ears perked forward as a look of surprise crossed over his gaze. The quick movement caused his pipe that was held by his ear to fumble. Quickly the blacksmith grabbed it carefully with his thoughts. Saving the pipe, his expression changed to a more common and serious one. Looking up from the pipe, Forge offered Yahui a small smile before replacing the pipe behind his ear and tucked safely next to his horn.

Clearing his throat, Forge turned his gaze from the Nan, as he noticed it started to linger. His dark tail shifted and his hunches lowered to a sit. Looking back to the others that gathered, Forge didn't pay them too much mind.

----
"Thank you, Yahui." Jing Lung offered a little of a sheepish smile. So perhaps she was being a bit over cautious, but it was better safe then sorry.

Taking in a soft breath, The new mother looked from her adviser and friend to her darling little newly woken cubs. They have already seemed to grow and learn so much. Next her careful gaze drifted over to her eldest daughter, Tanith. A Gentle and mindful gaze made sure that she too was on her way with the family to present themselves. She wasn't to be left out....

Fan Lung

Fan Lung followed along behind her siblings, eyes half-lidded and tail casually brushing the air behind her. She didn't seem like she was in much a hurry to be paraded out but she was keenly interested in the onlookers. It was a mixed reception certainly, but she didn't...entirely mind being the center of attention. These were her father's subjects. He'd saved them- to hear him tell it -from a life without meaning. All of the flowery language and the talks of politics and law went over her head, but she did retain a few crucial details- her family was important and so was she.

Flourishing her hair, she lifted her chin and moved with the same elegant grace as her mother...just dwarfed.

--

A thick shoulder bumped roughly against Adonis' pale one as one of the younger adults of his line joined him in the procession. Sinbad offered a lopsided smirk to his relatives before glancing down at all the activity in the main street. The scrappy, tail-biting cub had grown into a boulder of a B'alam. He boasted thick shoulders that would make a floofalo jealous and a chest so broad that lesser B'alam would bounce right off if they didn't catch him off guard. He was formidable if not a little cocky. What he lacked in outright smarts he made up in bold, irrational action. On the sparring fields he was a force of nature- enough to have granted him a position among the guard.

He flicked his tail and lifted his horns. "Cute hairballs aren't they? Spitting image of their folks. Good carving paws, those." He nudged Adonis with an elbow. "C'mon, time for a smile. We get in good with the littles- we get in good with the pa. Can't hurt."

So the little furballs were born. A smile spread across the pale nan's features and she waited paitently at the gates when she had heard the roar, announcement that there was new life in the lands for their Leader and his Queen. Dark gaze watched as the figures padded along side their father, erect and proud they stood, truly offspring of their Lord Shen.

She watched them all and examined them each as they moved, they were definitely their children, the markings were unimstakable. Looking around for a familiar face she spotted Sir Warden and Adonis, but not the face she wanted to see. Giving a frown she kept to herself, waiting for her moment to get closer to the cubs to say hello.

After a bit of distance, growing in the training and maturing into her paws, figuratively speaking, Amaterasu heard the roar of Emperor Shen along with the pronouncement of the birth of his cubs from the messengers. The colorful Nan had made her journey from her den to join the gathering of the citizens to witness the presentation of these cubs. The future heirs of the Fire tribe. Amaterasu kept to the back of the gathering crowd, looking over who had arrived and recognized several of the individuals that were there while others she did not. Amaterasu sat in the space she claimed for herself where she was able to see the gates, she was very curious to see the cubs. While not training, Amaterasu would often explore the tribe on long walks and observe the cubs that were running around with a silent hope that one day she would be able to have cubs of her own. Though perhaps when she found her soul mate and definitely after her tenure within the military forces. While many may have sincere and insincere reasons for answering the call to be here, there was one thing that Amaterasu knew for sure: The celebration of new life was a beautiful thing and these cubs were proof that hope is powerful to survive through anything.

A graceful deep blue pelted Nan, gracefully padded her way forward to the large crowd that started to gather at the palace gates. Patient golden eyes looked about the crowd. It had been sometime since Solstice had been trapped in the 'fire tribe'. Solstice hadn't been carved in the fire tribe, in fact she hadn't seen the Tribe until she was fully grown and just only recently. The Nan had wanted to see the land that their 'type' had came from, even though-she was only half 'fire'-and her brothers were 'wind' and had wings like their mother.

A Sigh left the Nantlil, admittedly she missed her parents-siblings and home....The Freedom to come and go. To do what she wanted, and not have another or tribe tell her 'no'. Even if it was 'for her own protection' and the tribe was in a war. Even if it...wasn't...really...her...tribe...

So this leader..the emperor of the fire tribe, Shen had a few cubs that he wanted to show off.

Calm eyes, placed themselves on a familiar maw and it's wild grin.

Sinbad, he was the guard that 'helped' her that day she tried to return home. Blue careful ears turned themselves forward, and a little smile was place on her own maw before looking back to the gate and the little cubs that pranced forward.

---

Nizah's dark ears turned a little back as Adonis spoke of the cubs, a little sigh left the Nan.

"They are...learning how to cope, at the moment." Adonis' sister answered softly. Her crimson tail made a little bit of a flick before her eyes turned back to the gate and the new cub's that were the Emperor's own.

A green eye turned over to Sinbad as he approached to stand with his clan, just as suggested a smile rested on his aunt's maw.

Yes, one must put on a pleasant maw for such a proud event. The next generation will be in control of what will happen after the war comes to a completion, and when the elders are not strong enough to carry their burdens on their own shoulders anymore...

___

Adonis let out a sigh and nodded to his sister's answer. Regal soft purple eyes narrow a little at the comment, and quickly relaxed one more as he took in a new breath.

"That is to be expected..." The elder spoke dimly, turning head he moved a step closer to Nizah and his horns lowered with his words. "How is Pa-"

Turning his head, Adonis braced himself as he felt a firm and strong bump at his shoulders. White sharp claws quickly revealed themselves, his maw tighten and lip started to raise. Not before it quickly relaxed and periwinkle eyes widened with a flicker of happiness as Sinbad's stocky figure stood next to him.

"Careful, cub." The farther rumbled softly, with a wide smile on his regal maw.

"Perhaps, but not that easily." Adonis spoke in to regards to his son's words. Shen was a strong leader, and wouldn't be easily swayed if one wanted to take advantage of him.
---

Sir Warden released a very -very- quiet breath, as he pulled his eyes from his three family members. How his uncle looked so proudly at Sinbad, how his aunt constantly chastised him. He had made a mistake once....It was a grave mistake that could have ruined everything that their clan was. Especially in the new regime...

Warden couldn't bare to look at them, and even if he did it was like he was outside of a happy little box looking. He felt like a outcast...one that felt he could ever do anything to make up what he had done.

Looking about the others that had started together, Sir Warden's defeated golden eyes placed themselves momentarily on Amaterasu. He offered her a small, slightly sheepish smile. She seemed to have grown a bit more since the last time he had saw her.

A crimson pelted Nan, boldly approached the gathering crowd at the Fire Palace gate. Violet fiery eyes narrowed at the shadows that started to approached. Sharp claws dug into the lava rock under her calloused paws. Her body trembled, and the sleek crimson fur started to rise along her tail.

It was unfair...

Xavieria watched the approach of the emperor and his cubs carefully....

Why did he get to have a family, why her's had been ripped apart? By his own paw none the less...

As more b'alam started to gather around her, red ears shifted and her eyes became more aware of the guards that started to show up. Taking in a slow deep breath, the Nan forcefully and silently started to calm herself. Her fur slowly started to relax on her pelt. Her blue horns lowered and she turned about to move toward the back of the gathering others...

Kyle: This was one of those rare events that Kyle had postponed vigorously training his troops for the day. Nothing was more important than being ready for the upcoming battles, save for when their emperor called for it. No mater what he thought. They had to be there. At least, he did. Him and his shadow had to be there to guard the royal family while they made their public debut.
Kyle remained century as close as he could. His eyes constantly scanned the area for anything out of place.

(Black Shen-Cub): Eyes widened as they -finally- left the palace grounds. The land was so big! at least, the town square was. It was impressive to see something so new! His eyes filled with wonder while they darted left and right and to every b'alam he could see that he had never seen before.

Amaterasu looked around at the firekin who had gathered, recognizing some of them and others not, but the ones that she did recognized she hoped that they had been doing well since it has been a good while from speaking with them. No doubt because their paths required them to do great things but she did feel a little bit...sad that she hadn't taken the time away to visit them. That was when she felt eyes one her, Ama turned to the direction she felt them come from and found that they were yellow eyes belonging to Sir warden who offered her a small though slightly sheepish smile. Amaterasu smiled warmly at Sir Warden with twinkly green eyes at a sincere joy of seeing him and even being acknowledged with the growing crowd. Though something was different about Sir Warden, reflected in his eyes that she could not name but it seemed as if defeat made their home there. Hopefully that by a returned smile she was able chase that defeat look even for momentarily.

Kyle's shadow fallowed faithfully by his side. Large thick paws moved silently beside his teacher, taking in a slow breath Ajax looked about the already gathered Tah and Nan's. His gaze was relaxed but sharp, even if a freshly carved wound cascaded across the left side of his upper brow down over his eye. Standing by the entrance of the palace, his injured eye stubbornly forced it's self to remain open. He was still on duty, and at such a event-a body guard with only one eye was weaker. If inspected more closely, Ajax's tall and large pelt was noticeably tuffed and tussled about his proud main and thick arms. Tempered ebony claws were scaved and bloody under his paws. The irony taste in his maw had yet to fade away, and the villainous trator's limp lifeless body was still freshly alive in his mind, and his tail remained raised a bit taller.

Ajax had protected the throne and done his job. Even if a woven thread was lost....
Looking from the palace gates and the figures that approach, there was still time for him to look over to his clan. Proudly, his eyes rested on his father and his chest rose and puffed ever more slightly. He had last seen his family as a cub, all the time he grew he became stronger and warborn by Kyle's teachings. His eyes drifted to his aunt, and then to his brother-Sinbad, it was a shame his other siblings had not been around-but regardless-a challenging smirk was given to just-as-large brother before him. There wasn't too much horn-raising to be done around Kyle.

It distracted from the job....

Releasing a breath from his maw, he noticed his older battle torn teacher....Crucible. Eyes watched her carefully, with a glance of gratitude. She was still very hard to read, had she been proud of him?

The Pink fire-nan also gained a glance as she was familiar to the now grown cub, was she still apart of the army? There had been a lot of talking between his father, Warden and her-not a whole lot he-as a cub admittedly had paid attention to....

Sir Warden had only gained a glance by Ajax...
Looking to Kyle, one of his general's troops had also shown up to the ceremony, the pale nan. If Ajax recalled she had recently moved to Kyle's command.

"Look, a Ballast..." Ajax spoke quietly to Kyle, his jowls were still sore which caused him to speak slowly. No doubt he had already seen her, "I wonder if the rest of your unit will follow."

Kyle turned only a side eye to the approaching Ballast unit member. They had been given leave as a reward for hard work. What they did on this free time was their own. Though that didn't say that those who had arrived would be rewarded further...
"Hmn" He grunted. "That should be no concern of yours. Keep your mind on your task."
He turned his side-eye to Crucible for a brief moment than returned to scanning the area.
