Something stirs you away from your task at hand. Perhaps you were sleeping and were suddenly awoken. Perhaps you were protecting your neighborhood, or perhaps you were turning in energy for your weekly quota. No matter what it was you were doing just moments ago, you were being summoned.
The song is off-key, lilting and uneasy, but it seems to be calling you. It is a hum, a tune you can’t quite place, but know it sounds off. You can feel it in your body and deep in your mind. Almost as if sleepwalking, many begin making their way through the city and towards the park where this strangeness all started.
Fifty-seven starseeds have been gathered at the base of the mysterious monument, drawn here by an eerie, bone-deep song no one else can perceive. You are milling about, almost waiting… but for what? There are enemies and allies among your ranks, but you feel no adrenaline in your veins, no desire to attack. Something seems to be lulling you to an odd dreariness. The moon is high in the sky on this crisp and clear night.
Without warning, the monument begins to glow with a bright, golden light. The light is warm but smells of ozone and static dances across your bare skin. Soon, you are all but blind and lose all feeling in your limbs.
You are drifting…
...and when you awaken, you are no longer in Destiny City as you knew it.
Sandy beige walls pulse with electrical veins, a mechanical hum heavy in the air. You and your now-comrades are in a large room, devoid of doors. Slitted windows align one wall, but some kind of forcefield seems to be keeping you inside. You can see out, gazing upon the moonlit park you had left behind.

[THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT]
You’re trapped inside the Monument! How did you get here? You’re not really sure, but there doesn’t seem to be any means of escape… for now. The following rules will apply to this event only!
You cannot power down while inside the Monument! You cannot leave the Monument by any means you can conceive of. There are no doors leading outside, and Chaos-aligned agents and senshi cannot teleport outside, even if they can clearly visualize where they would like to go. They will not expend the energy even if they tried to teleport, however. TL;DR - no teleportation, nothing happens. Chaos agents, corrupted senshi and Dark Mirrors cannot drain energy. Dark Mirror Senshi cannot mirrorwalk outside the monument or travel to Mirrorspace, and they cannot summon any wraiths. Likewise, Knights and Senshi cannot travel to their homeworld or the moon. You are effectively disconnected for the time being. Knight Summons cannot be used. You can go through the motions, but just like with teleportation, nothing happens. You do not lose any energy for trying. Personal Youma cannot be summoned into the Monument. They cannot hear your call. Knight Aspects are on the fritz and do not appear to work unless specifically noted. You can only interact with the people in your team for the time being. As far as you’re aware, the other people gathered at the Monument with you have effectively disappeared. Cellphones, tablets and other communication devices will work, BUT - only with the people in your team. You cannot call friends if they are not present with you. Your calls and messages simply bounce back.
[SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS]
Mauvians are trapped in the highest form they’ve achieved. This means, if they have access to a human or senshi form, they are stuck in it. Mauvians have unlimited kitty beams for the duration of this event (to aid in combat checks!) Our Resident 4th Stage Characters are also stuck in their highest form. This doesn’t apply to Camelot exactly, but… Sorry, Leto. You’re stuck with the big ol’ wings. No shifting between 3rd and 4th stage here. 4th stage characters can only use their special abilities (like crystal powers and Aspects) one time, unless specified otherwise. Chaos agents and senshi can teleport within the Monument itself, but even then, only to rooms you’ve been to and currently have access to. The same applies to Dark Mirrors who find a reflective surface. No Mirrorspace, but you can get from one room to another on a reflective surface if you can find one. Youma DO NOT hunger while in the Monument! Something about it seems to satiate the youma’s need to feed.
More may be added as needed!
[EXTRA SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS]
This event is meant to be fun above all else. If you don’t quite have the time in your day to fill out a post with tons of content, that’s totally fine. We appreciate you being here and trying your best! If you are using this event for growth requirements, please make sure you write at least 500 words!

[NUMBER GENERATION/DICE ROLLING & HP TOTALS]
Dice rolling will be used for task-based events!
Your HP and numbers to generate are dependent on your character’s rank for combat purposes! These will be reiterated for each step of the climb, so don’t worry if you forget - I’ll keep them posted in easy-to-find spots in case it gets confusing.
This list will be reposted before every combat, so don’t worry about memorizing these numbers!
[The first step of the climb will begin in roughly 24 hours!]

Hadaya was not sure where he was, but he knew he was scared. Generally, he was always scared, but this was a brand new level that he never wanted to visit, and was terrified to be stuck in.
He did not recognize anyone immediately.
He had been outside with Camelot only a moment ago, and now he was in some weird room with a bunch of strangers. It was dark and weird and he felt uncomfortable. He had not been able to achieve a human or senshi form yet, so he was just a little kitty stuck in the middle of a big mess.
With no other options available to him, Hadaya crouched down against the floor and covered his face with his stumpy paws, shuddering and sniffling unhappily.
Maybe if he 'woke up' again, he would be back outside with his Royal Knight bodyguard. Then they could go home and have ice cream with the baby and be happy and safe.
Somehow he did not think this was going to work.

Since her had become aware of the monument in their city and after inspecting it with his fellow Court members, he had been trying to spend more time powered up. Even if he didn't go exactly near the monument, he wanted to be ready in the event that something did happen. That night he had been out collecting energy, but he was heading back toward his apartment. Even sending a quick text to Nischal to let him know he would be home soon. Just as he was about to power down as he got closer to home, something else called out to him.
As much as he loved the idea of cuddling up in bed with the person he loved, it was a call that couldn't be ignored. Nothing else mattered as he drew closer to the monument, not even the sense that many others were heading there as well. He could feel members of chaos and order converging together and yet no one seemed to mind. He saw some familiar faces, but kept to himself as he waited.
Something was going to happen, that much he knew. The following blinding light and sense of being pulled elsewhere was very unpleasant though. Once it was all over he found himself trapped in an odd room with many complete strangers. There was only one other member of the Dark Mirror Court here and her presence was a comfort to him. It was rare to see his Princess out and about, much less actually in her Princess form. While he didn't know her all that well, aside from how badass she was during their battles with Altea, she was still a familiar face and so he hovered over toward her, since everyone else in their room was playing for a different team.
Normally Crocus wouldn't have a problem chatting with new people, but he wasn't sure just how explosive some of the personalities could be in this room. They might by the 'punch things to find answers' type of individuals and given their current situation it seemed like a safe bet to sort of avoid being the first to offer the olive branch here.
"Leto~" He voice was calm, with maybe just a bit of cheer in greeting a Royal of his court. He thought about saying something like 'Good to see you again', but given the situation it seemed inappropriate. "Are you familiar with anyone here? I can't say that I am." Leto had been at this for a long time now though, it was possible there was a familiar face in the crowd for her somewhere.
There were fewer individuals here then there had been outside. He couldn't even sense Acubens around and he had seen her by the monument as well. Was it possible only some of them were pulled inside? Nischal crossed his mind as well, just how crazy would him and Xi-Wang go trying to find him when he didn't come home like he said he would. He tried to seem relaxed, but he was honestly concerned they'd be stuck here for a while. There didn't seem to be any mirrors that he could even attempt to walk through, though he somehow doubted it would even work in here.

Kaileen did not know where she was. She was in a dark place. She was not alone. There were other people and for some strange reason a cat.
Kaileen went over to the cat and picked it up cuddling it.
"It's ok little fellow. I will protect you."
She cajoled and petted the cat.
She came across a cat before but it was a talking cat. She want sure about this one but it was kind a shaking and looked a little scared.
She had to figure out how to leave this place. If this was her first mission since finding out she was a senshi them she was going to do what she could to figure out what was going to do.
When her pail eyes flickered open the first thought that drifted through Strengite's mind was, this s**t again?!?! It took her a moment to realize that the sandy beige walls weren't the same as the blank white ones from the mirrorverse she had found herself in a while ago. They even seemed to pulse with electric, the room humming like some kind of giant electrical outlet or something. Although there were no doors there were windows along one wall, yet another major difference from her previous 'cell'. She even had more company then the one lone senshi from before. I wonder what he's up too. I'll have to find him again one day. He was fun to play with, she mentally mused as she fluffed her hair and sashayed towards the windows.
The lieutenant approached them carefully, weary of actually touching the stone in case she got shocked. She really hated it when her hair got frizzy, it was so annoying. The view out of the windows was the same park she had visited just a few days before. The same moonlit stretch of green that she had been led too just that night, it was still the same night right, like a child by the Pied Piper. A lot of the walk was hazy, almost like she had been dreaming, or sleepwalking, but Strengite remembered rather clearly what she had been doing before that song, that off-key, lilting song tugged her along like some child's toy.
She had been draining some poor sucker who had thought he had convinced her to join him in a trashy alley outside a rundown club when the reality was the other way around. She had lured him out there. A dark and rarely used spot where she could drain him without interference from the pesky senshi or do gooder knights. The man had just slumped to the ground, dazed and nearly passed out from a combination of drink and lack of energy, when that strange music seeped into her mind. An uneasy tune that she couldn't quite place, but knew it sounded off, like someone humming a commercial jingle all wrong. It was hairraising and soothing at the same time.
Before Strengite could comprehend what was happening, she was once more standing in front of the color changing monument. Others were there too. Called by the eerie, bone-deep song no one else had perceived beyond those gathered there. A myriad of fighters. Chaos. Order. Officers. Senshi. Cats. Dark Mirrors. A volatile collection that were just waiting for something. No aggression, no tension, meandered through the group, just an odd dreariness. Lulling all into a trance like state in that small patch of life surrounded by a city of death, all on a crisp and clear night as the moon watched on high.
Then the waiting was over because without warning the monument began to glow. It lit up with a bright, golden light. So different from the dark obsidian it had change to when she was last there. This light was warm but it also smelled of ozone, like a storm was brewing on that cloudless night. Static danced among the gathered, little lighting sprites gliding across the skin. Soon she was all but blind and lost all feeling of her body. She was drifting in a haze of warm, sparkling, light until she suddenly came too in this room.
Someone or something had just roofied her and she did not like it. Not. At. All!

Captain Marcasite
When she came to, Marcasite was disoriented. Her hat had fallen down over her face and she was on her a**, having been lulled by some melody that overtook her until she couldn't do anything but follow it
Climbing to her feet left her woozy and she reached to steady herself on one of the beige walls. The hat was pushed up, blue eyes narrowing as she took in the gathered.
Wait--
When she glanced out the window she recognized the telltale signs of the park but this...
Upon glancing around she registered that she was not alone and that the amount of hostiles around her were many but her concern about where was she. When she tried to teleport out of the monument, she found that she couldn't.
s**t.

Super Sailor Denebola
The music had been a lilting thing, something that had called to the super and lured her into the park, towards the strange building she had been scouting out with her ragtag group. She hadn't even processed what she was doing, one minute she was herself, working on some paperwork for the business and the next, she was opening her eyes and finding herself among a group of people she didn't recognize.
What if one of her friends was here?
She stepped forward on wobbly legs, mismatched eyes shifting over faces as she moved, keeping care to leave a wide berth of the princess in the room. She saw the wings, and felt the power, and it was important to her to keep eyes on the mirror senshi as well as the few others that leaked chaos throughout the room.
It was all she could do to hope that her boys, and her recently acquired girl, were safe.

It was in MirrorSpace that Leto felt something. Normally the place itself, or someone calling to her caused a sort of gut-tugging feeling but this... This was different. It was different and it seemed to pull her away from her duties and out of MirrorSpace entirely. The Eternal Senshi could swear that there was a song playing, low and uneasy and just somehow completely off. Her feet pulled her towards it, as if her body knew exactly where the song was coming from and where she needed to be.
As she approached the monument, she glanced around at the other people that were approaching. An eyebrow twitched upward, taking notice of the fact that she was surrounded by other powered individuals of every side of the war. Her hands balled into fists, some of the others recognizable, but there was no fight in her... There was only an overwhelming sense of dreariness and that in itself confused the typically aggressive Senshi.
Suddenly there was a bright light and the fine hairs on her arms raised. Red eyes squinting against the blinding light, she reached out to try and touch the monument's surface only to be pulled somewhere far, far away.
When she awoke, she blinked a few times and hands moved to flatten the triple-layer skirt of her fuku. Except her fingers brushed over fur and she was very aware that she had been pushed into her Royal form - trying to force it away to no avail.
"God ******** damnit," she muttered to herself as she took a look around herself at their new surroundings. Beige walls, no doors. "Great. Just ******** great." She probably would have continued with a string of curse words had Crocus not approached her.
She petite brunette smiled at him and took a look around- she definitely recognized a few outside of the monument.. But the people that were gathered here together in the small room were all strangers to her save for Crocus himself. She shook her head slightly in response to him, "I don't. I may have seen a few of the more seasoned ones in large-scale battle but I don't know any o'them personally. I think we got split up," she added. She was absolutely sure that she caught sight of Acubens' head of curly hair before being pulled into this place.
Summoning her compact to her hand, she tried to reach out to Persephone- and when the message bounced back Leto couldn't help but laugh- she was sure she was going to give the poor girl a heart attack one day if she didn't stop randomly disappearing.

Bluebell had been relaxing at home, it was a rare day when both of her parents were around and away from work. Getting to spend the day with both of them was a rare treat. A delicious home cooked meal, catching up on what's new on Netflix, and retiring to bed feeling like her happy meter had been fully recharged. At some point she fell asleep, only to wake up to the sound of music, far off. It was so clear though, but it didn't give her a great feeling.
It also wasn't something she could easily ignore, it had it's pull on her. Before she could really recall anything she was already outside and powered up. It didn't take her long to recognize where she was going. The feel of othered powered individuals were all around her as well, different sides and different strengths. Normally Tsih could jump at the chance to fight, but something told her they were all here for the same reason.
There wasn't much time to process what was happening before the blinding like overtook her and the static in the air pulled her elsewhere. It wasn't like anything she had experienced before and she had raced over rooftops on Hyperborea's beautiful summons at an unbelievable speed. When she opened her eyes again she found herself trapped in a room full of strangers.
Even those that were Order like herself, she had never met. Hadn't she seen Hype outside? Why hadn't they been transported to the same place? It was frustrating and she realized that somehow the music had kept her clam. But without it, her nerves were on end being around all the Chaos. Not to mention a very overwhelming powerful sense of 'danger, beware' coming from a particular individual in the room. She had been taught a lot of things, but had never experienced the presence of a Royal before. Being told about them and actually seeing one, she could only assume, was a completely different thing.
This was not a situation for them all to start throwing fists at each other though. Her friends might chide her for starting fights all the time, but she had enough sense to know when not to. Most of the time anyway. For now she simply crossed her arms and looked out the windows that lined one of the walls. She could see the park out there, but highly doubted they were an actual way out. She checked her Senshi phone, but none of her messages went out. Great. So she was stuck here. Absolutely Fantastic.

(Lul I forgot the quotes, sorry guys!)
As you milled about the beige-colored room, gazing out at Destiny City you left behind, something in the obelisk begins to shake. It’s deep and hidden but you feel the shockwaves like a small earthquake in your room. No debris is falling from the ceiling, but the light inside the room seems to dim slowly over time. Soon, barely any light could be detected save for the heartbeat-like pulsing of the electrical wire patterns scouring the walls, floor and ceiling. For a scant few moments, the shaking stops and everything is eerily quiet. You can hear your breathing and something that smells distinctively like burning wires reaches your nose.
Suddenly, the wall opposite the windows begins to lift, stone-on-stone grinding filling the room as light slowly floods your eyes. A whirring sound, though slight, seems to fill the air. Light pulses through the electrical wire pattern throughout this room.
This new room is similar to the room you were trapped in, but much, much larger. The ceiling is thirty feet high in this rectangular room, and a singular black door, eight feet tall, stands at the far end.
[THE FIRST TASK]
An eerie melody, similar to the one you heard when being summoned, seems to be playing quietly in this room. On the two walls to your left and right are various-colored crystalline tubes. Touching one of these tubes produces a note similar to the song you hear. You are to reproduce the melody, without making any mistakes.
Welcome to your first task.
[The Rules]
Roll one (1) d10 for each post and follow these prompts:
Roll 1-3: You're out of tune, touching the wrong crystal at the wrong time. Take 2HP damage. Roll 4-7: Maybe it was good listening, but maybe it was a great guess? So far, so good. Roll 8-10: Are you musically-inclined? Maybe you can help the others?
[Special Rules!]
Anyone rolling 8-10 may opt to assist one of the others in the group who might be struggling. That person ADDS +2 to their roll. If this puts them out of the 1-3 category, they do not take damage! You can roll once every half hour!
[Your goal is to reach a total of 60 for the group to escape into the next room.]
[The next step of the climb will begin in roughly 24 hours!]
She didn't get a chance to do more then check out the view, both inside and out... some of the characters she was trapped in there with weren't half bad looking, it might be interesting to pass the time with them except that princess, she scared the ******** out of her... before a minor earthquake had Strengite edging away from the walls. Her silver eyes were glued to the pulsing electrical lines that caged them as the lights dimmed and the room shook slightly. If the room collapsed they were screwed, all of them. Regardless of faction. And when the smell of burning wires reached her nose Strengite's heart practically climbed into her throat, she did not want to die by burning to death. It was a horrible way to go!
Suddenly, the wall opposite the windows began to shift, lifting slowly as stone-on-stone grinding filling the room. Light slowly flooding into their prison, stinging her eyes that had become accustomed to the dimmer light. A whirring sound, though slight, seemed to fill the air like a garage door motor, it heralded the rise of the wall even as more light pulsed through the electrical wire pattern throughout their stone cage.
The new room was revealed to be similar to the room they were trapped in, but much, much larger. The ceiling had to be at least thirty feet high in the new rectangular room. The most striking thing was a singular black door, eight feet tall, that stood at the far end. A way out! With a grin the Lieutenant wove her way passed the milling mob of prisoners and started out into the new space, her sassaying steps slowing as the eerie melody, similar to the one she heard when being summoned, started to play. Only then were her silver eyes drawn to the walls where tubes were mounted. Various-colored crystalline tubes on both the right and the left walls.
Ignoring the tubes and the curiosity about what they were for the pale haired negaverser slid up to the door, her heels clicking on the stone floor only to find the black panel handleless. Deft fingers found no handhold or activating panel. There was a seam but it wasn't anything she could get her nails into. A few swift kicks and punches didn't do more then hurt her hands and feet. Cursing the entire situation, knowing that the tubes had something to do with the door and leery of just physically shoving her way through said exit, Stringite sashayed over to one of the crystalline tubes, choosing to ignore her rather pathetic slap fest with the door. Just what the hell were the tubes used for anyway?
A accidental touch brought her instant sharp pain and produced a discordant sound. It jangled against the tune that was still playing... almost like a twisted game of 'Simon'. "It's a ******** matching game!" She exclaimed loudly to the group as she stepped away from the walls. No way she wanted to get zapped again without a damn good chance of getting the pattern right.

Super Sailor Denebola HP: 60/60
She felt disoriented, but was determined not to show the way the whole ordeal was leaving her off-balance. Not for the first time, Denebola wished that one of her starlets were with her, but she knew that she was capable of going it alone.
After all, how many years had she been left on her own? How long had she spent bringing people together or working around things and having to rely on just herself?
More than she'd spent with her carefully built little family, to her dismay.
She could do this.
After some practice, and careful listening Denebola found that she was able to mimic the soft, eerie melody that was playing around them. One challenge down....
Being alone wouldn't stop her.

Captain Marcasite HP: 60/60
Normally, Marcasite was more of a team player and while there were enough agents around that she could link up with, she was more focused on getting the hell out before any of the moonies hit the right nerve.
That meant when they found the tubes, she paid little attention to what other people were doing or what clues might've been provided by others or the room itself.
Her touches were relatively erratic, based more on testing the notes than trying to create anything. Luckily, it worked out in her favor and she'd yet to be zapped.
