Vince wasn't sure what to expect regarding the boggart. He felt like he'd matured somewhat since the last time he'd faced one, but maybe it was just his imagination. With a sigh, he approached the cabinet, wincing when the creature came out and immediately turned into James, not liking where this was going at all. Sure enough, Boggart-James' mouth opened and began insulting him, calling him a waste of space and a drain on his resources. It then morphed to Lyre, selling the same bit, though this one hurt even worse since Vince had always felt closer to her than the rest of his new family. Duane came next, saying he'd wished he'd gone with their mother when the divorce happened, calling him a freak and wondering why he'd ever stood up for him. Vince tried and tried, but he couldn't think of a way to make this funny, not at all. It kept going, morphing into Andi, and then even little Maya, both of whom informed him that they hated him and wished he'd leave and never come back. Daniel came next, saying he was the worst friend he'd ever had. Vince knew what was coming next, and he didn't want to see it. So, he finally brandished his wand, calling out, "Riddikulus!" and changing the Boggart-Daniel's clothes to the ridiculous Halloween costume from years before. Vince snorted slightly at the ridiculous get up, and then chuckled, and finally laughed. The boggart cowered at the sound, and slunk back into the cabinet to escape. Vince would have to tell Daniel that the stupid mustache was finally good for something.
