It had felt like forever since Lacrimosa had stepped out into the streets. Melody had, she'd had work and real life to deal with, but ever since the events of the circus incident... Well Lacrimosa just hadn't been a thing for Melody at the time.

But she couldn't just stop again, not after all the work she'd done. All the work she could still do. Chaos couldn't run around unchecked and there were too many people who had no true understanding of the war or what any of it meant. She liked to think of herself as someone who would listen to anyone talk about their problems in this mess they were in.

There hadn't been anyone like that when she had first stepped into this war and she refused to let others suffer with the aftereffects of it all like she'd had to.

So, here she was, out on patrol. She probably shouldn't have gone by herself, usually had her cat-son with her in all honesty, but Zachary needed to focus on school and Itsuki had to be behaving himself well enough if he wasn't at her house. She wasn't going to interrupt any of that just because she felt the need to patrol.

As it was, it seemed like it had been a good idea as she caught the sound of an aloud musing from someone. "I wonder if I should magic a building." Thankfully the streets were clear and the building that Lacrimosa had taken pause on was low enough she'd caught the thought.

"I would not advise that, as a precaution. It could draw some very unwanted attention your way."

Hopping down, still forever surprised she had yet to break an ankle landing in heels, the pink clad senshi hoped the other wouldn't mind her butting in. Smoothing her skirt, brown eyes glanced to the very fiery colored senshi.

"Which might not be a problem if it was a youma or a lieutenant, but a captain or higher and we'd both be in trouble."

"I suppose that's fair. But if you have a grandkitten in your care, then it's all the more reason why you shouldn't be bringing the attention of chaos to you. Many of them are not very nice and won't care if you have family under your care."

She wasn't sure the age of the senshi but she had to be young enough, or maybe even new enough, to not understand the dangers of the Negaverse. Which could be very dangerous.

And then Lacrimosa was bombarded by questions and she could only do her best to not laugh. At least someone else was curious about the whole landing in heels thing, shame she didn't entirely have an answer for that.

"I patrol from buildings, to be honest. Sure in some cases it's harder to see what's going on down on street level but sometimes it can be difficult being on the street in fuku. Senshi aren't entirely liked thanks to bad P.R so staying out of the way seems safer. But yes I did just jump five stories in high heels without breaking my ankle.

"I'm assuming it's something to do with senshi magic, we do have heightened reflexes and the like. Which means we can jump higher and run faster." A small pause. "Did no one really explain things to you?"

She hoped the question didn't offend but it had come to mind suddenly and she felt it better to ask. And prayed that it wasn't the case in the least.

"Shinies?" she echoed, trying to think back on what she knew. It wasn't much and she still couldn't place exactly what the other might be referring to. Not without more context anyway.

"There are some tells, especially if normal people have seen enough of us. Though our fuku are varied in designs and color there are several parts which remain consistent despite being varied. Sailor collars, tiaras, bows and brooches too. Not everyone is smart enough but someone could figure it out I'm sure."

A soft smile to the other. "I would rather play it safe then risk having to potentially fight someone because they think I'm a terrorist or someone causing trouble or something." She tried not to pay attention to the news and the slanderings of those on the side of order.

"That "magic eyeliner pen" is actually what we call a henshin pen. I don't know if it works like a regular pen, I've never really tried, but it's what allows us to transform into our powered forms."

She can't say she was surprised to hear that Alsafi knew nothing of what was going on and that was sad to hear. How much trouble could this one have gotten themselves into without proper knowledge?

"So you were a part of the raid on the Negaverse too, huh? I'm sorry to hear that. I imagine it was probably confusing in it's own right." Though she did have to laugh at the war being called a giant "dickfight". In some ways that was very accurate though she didn't know the whole story.

"Well then, before I continue on - if that's alright with you- I would like to introduce myself. Seems as good a time as any." A polite bow to the fiery colored senshi. "I am Super Sailor Lacrimosa and it is a pleasure to meet you."

"That might be part of it," she replied with a small shrug. "I haven't gone looking into the way it all works but that does seem the logical answer." There may have also been a soft laugh at her next statement. This was a fiery one, costume aside, that was for sure.

"I haven't met a lot of cats, so I don't think I've seen him yet. But I will have to look out for him, I love meeting Guardian Cats." So far they'd all been wonderful experiences. "I sort of adopted a cat myself, though I suppose it's more he adopted me. Which seems like a very cat thing to do... I sort of co-parent him with his senshi, though I get him mostly when he's being a pain to his bonded."

Alsafi was definitely something different in terms of senshi she knew. It was refreshing despite how troubled she felt knowing the other wasn't really informed about the on-goings around them.

"Well you know about the Negaverse, so that's something at least. And you know about your own magic, which is helpful. Though do you know about the enhanced abilities you get as a senshi? Like enhanced speed and jumping capabilities? What do you know of your starseed?" There always seemed so much to cover when it came to explanations and she wanted to make sure this energetic one was well prepared for the future.

"I would like to think your cat told you about your senshi phone..." she was talking aloud now, trying to remember everything. "And you know about your home world so that was probably explained too- oh!"

Brown eyes brightened a bit and she looked to the fiery senshi. "You mentioned your home world has loot! That's curious, what do you know about that? Also makes me curious about your power since I hear our home worlds are also tied to our powers some way."

"I don't know much about bonds between senshi and cat, just that Itsuki is apparently bonded to Themisto. Though I'm pretty sure he considers himself both of ours..." The last part was mostly in quite musing to herself, wondering if it were maybe possible to be bonded to more then one senshi.

"Actually, you should try seeing if Brody can't upgrade your phone! Up until a couple of months back, when I first met Itsuki, I had the same sort of flip phone and he was able to upgrade it to something more modern." Pulling her phone from her subspace pocket, she held it up. "It's a lot more usable in this form and has some new functions as well."

Honestly she was glad to have it now that she was more active as a senshi. Doing what she did now with the flip phone would have been impossible.

Brown blinked back at the offer to take her to her world. That... would be amazing admittedly.

"Oh I'd believe it. My asteroid has a whole bunch of dead sakura trees and looks like an abandoned Asian village." So a planet with treasure and caves was one hundred percent believable. "If you would ever like company I would be glad to go with."

"Well the option is there if you want it, we'll just have to find you a cat who can do it~"

And it was okay if she didn't wish to upgrade her phone. Aside from trying to stay alive in the war for peace there was no right or wrong way to be a senshi. Technically. Lacrimosa herself didn't approve of those on the order side of things who killed, they were no better then chaos that way.

"If you ever want to go I'll be glad to take you. Feel free to add me to your phone and you can text me whenever you'd like to go." She went infrequently enough as it was so there was likely no problem in going whenever the other desired. "I can do the same, if you'd like. Add you and text you when I have a chance to go?"

Would give her plenty of time to prepare for such a warm place to explore amid the things she had going on in her life. Things she needed to get back to for the night. With her phone still in hand, Lacrimosa went ahead and took a quick picture of Alsafi to add her before making it disappear back into subspace.

"Oh how I don't miss the days of being roped into events that my mother would agree to go to only to drag me along with if she didn't just make me go myself." A soft sigh and a comforting smile to the other senshi, knowing that pain well.

"I'll send you a text when I'm next available and we can figure out which home world to visit first~" A sweeter smile this time as she turned to go. "Have a good night, Alsafi."
