The notification came like black lightning through the grapevine of the Negaverse. Carnelian hadn't forgotten about her, but knew he couldn't obsess over the poor thing like an anxious father. The corrupted senshi trusted Axinite and whoever else might be handling her case; trusted them to deliver dear Sedna into the bosom of Chaos to be loved and pampered (provided the corruption didn't fry several internal circuits that would cause her to be homicidal, for example - Carnelian knew corruption did some odd things to some people).
Elated was he when the news reached his ears - Sedna was one of theirs now, the precious thing. Renamed, with a new identity, the poor dear certainly needed someone to look after her, and the redhead hastily appointed himself to being That Person. Who better than he to braid her hair and remind her how wonderful she was? Sedna was deliciously naive in the same way a young child might be, endearing her to his heart unintentionally. Carnelian was carnal in many senses of the word, but that itch wasn't scratched by Sedna. No, she was a precious thing, just like dear Lace, and would be loved and cherished as a surrogate daughter.
Finding that Sedna (now Stillwaterite) was out on patrol, Carnelian hastily made his way to the streets of Destiny City to track her down under the cover of the moon. Sedna --no, Stillwaterite-- was a distinctive figure. Surely, she could be found?
After two hours of searching, that burgundy coat was spotted.
Carnelian just had to compose himself.
She was standing atop an apartment building, the slight breeze shifting her coat and long, lustrous hair.
She was perfect.
"Ah! There you are!" he chirped, lighting on the edge of the rooftop to try and gauge her new demeanor. Would she be as precious as before? Or more ruthless, now? "I've been looking all over for you, dear."

The patrol had been going well. She filled her quota by cleaning up some more trash in the city, and then she had taken to wandering, before coming to pause for a break on an apartment building. Stillwaterite liked the view of the city. The lights sparkling out before her as she roamed made her evenings. She wondered what Officer Vetrov was up to, and idly wondered if she'd see Beringia around again her not...and then it drifted to what the Machine and Bus were up to. So many interesting people and friends... Speaking of... The eternal turned her head in the direction of the other eternal signature coming her way, and she was interested. It felt like another corrupt senshi, and she hadn't met many of those so far yet. Black eyes fell on the man as he came closer, and a pale brow rose. There she was? He seemed familiar with her, and while he kind of looked familiar to her, she couldn't recall anything about him. She smiled a bit regardless, her expression curious. "Oh? I hope it wasn't an exhausting search. What can I do for you?"

He desperately wanted to cup her cheeks and coo at her, but Carnelian kept himself composed. Instead, he clasped his hands together in delight and approached in a semi-cautious manner. If she didn't remember him and was frightened or hostile, well... That would be terribly heartbreaking. "Oh, so you don't remember me? Well, that's alright." Wandering every close, green eyes scoured her outfit in all its new brilliance. "You look positively radiant, my dear. Are you feeling well? If you've got a superior officer, they better be treating you well. Regardless, you're a sight for sore eyes." Flicking his long braid behind his shoulder, he gave her a warm smile. "I'm Carnelian. Maybe you'll remember me? I had hoped we'd meet again. I do adore you, very much so~" Maybe his name would jog her memory? Or perhaps it was gone forever. That would be fine, he thought. They could create new memories of him braiding her hair and spoiling her rotten.

Once again, it was bothersome when she was running into people who knew her but she couldn't remember them. They knew something she didn't. That wasn't good. Regardless, she smiled still, and as he took her in, she did the same to him. He was rather enthusiastic, this one. "You're very kind. I am well, thank you! Ah, I don't have a superior officer, but I do have a little team of sorts..." She trailed off as he introduced himself, and it felt like a light bulb wanted to flick on, but no matter how many times she flipped the switch it just didn't happen. Almost though. "The name seems...familiar, yes but sorry, friend, it doesn't ring any bells." She wasn't exactly sure how to feel that she was very much adored, but she supposed it was flattering? It was just hard when you had nothing to attach the feelings to. She held out her hand to him. "It's nice to meet you, Carnelian---again, I suppose. I'm Stillwaterite, but you can call me Still. I'm going to go out on a limb and say you knew me before, hm?"

Oh, she was just as precious as before, but her outfit was more suitable. Yes. Carnelian took Stillwaterite's hand and gently pulled her into a warm embrace. Not passionate like lovers, but comforting and familial. "Stillwaterite? That's just perfect. Welcome home, my dear. I missed you terribly, but I'm so relieved to know you're alright." Almost absently, Carnelian ran his hand gently through Stillwaterite's longer, lustrous hair. It was just as perfect as before, but the increased length made her all more elegant. To know she had a team, that she was being cared for, was a relief. It would all be for naught if Sedna was corrupted and then left to float on her own. That simply wouldn't do. "I knew you before, yes." He supposed he should be answering her questions, letting go of his embrace of Stillwaterite just so he looked less like a psycho fanboy... "You were just as lovely then, I promise you. But, I can't tell you how happy I am to see that you're finally here, like this. Like me, and like so many others we work with. And an eternal at that. I knew you were impressive, but to see it myself? Just lovely." Clicking his tongue, the redhead walked a slow circle around Still, taking a gander at the wonderful wings that adorned her outfit. Just perfect. "I was a Super back then, too. It looks like we've both grown into our own, doesn't it?"

Oh. Well then. Stillwaterite wasn't expecting to find herself pulled into a hug, but she didn't fight it, and let it happen. Instead, she was trying to wrack her brain for anything, even a scrap of something about this man. He seemed so...fond and familiar of her, and it bothered her that she couldn't recall a lick of anything. Though when she thought about it long enough, she supposed she was feeling like she had a good impression of him? It was hard to place without the recollection of what caused it. There was something...comforting though? The longer she was around him? Hm. Maybe instead of getting so worked about about the what ifs, she should just let it ride and go on that. Trying to remember wasn't getting her anywhere. She was released, and black eyes followed the other eternal around as he circled her. "Once again, you're too kind, Carnelian. I'm floundering without anything to go on to say to you in return, so please excuse me..." Her tone was a bit wistful before she shrugged it off. "Ah, congratulations!" Promotions were a reason to say that, yes? "Yes, I suppose it has..." She trailed off for a moment. "How long have you been in the Negaverse for?" Because if there was ever a time to apparently start re-learning someone, it was now.

Lucyal Sorry it's short, I'm kinda braindead! Carnelian gave a good-natured chuckle as his heels clicked. She didn't remember anything about him, but that was fine. It was a side-effect of induction into the Negaverse, and a necessary one if she were to work with them and be by their side. As long as she was Stillwaterite, she was more than perfect. "How long? A very long time. Seven years, if memory serves. We only met very recently, you see. I liked you immediately. You reminded me of why I continued to power up every day. You and Lace, that is." Well, and Tantalite, but that was a different matter entirely. "You mentioned a team? Who is on the team, dear?" Whoever they were, if Still had ascended to the rank of eternal, she was clearly doing something right. She was but a Super back then, and now she was more glorious than ever. "Are you hungry? I hope they didn't send you on a patrol on an empty stomach. That simply won't do."

Stillwaterite let out an appreciative whistle at that number. "Well, you've certainly been around the block quite a few times!" His answer really perked her interest though, and she tilted her head curiously. "Oh? What reason is that? And...if it's alright if I ask, who is Lace?" She paused when another question was turned on her. "Ah! We're not an official team but...they look out for me and we stick together!" She told him. "It's another corrupt like us named Haüyne and a general named Pyrophanite." She said their names with the utmost fondness, and looked delighted at being asked about food. "Sure! I could go for a bite! The one fun thing about not remembering much is that every food is like a new experience! Did you have someplace in mind?" Lucifer Force PFFFT don't apologize, I AM APOLOGIZING! School is off for the summer, and I am working on staying on track now, huzzah!

Lucyal FIN here, Daughterite being taken to dinner~? biggrin It was such a travesty that Still did not yet know Lace, the precious little bean she was. But that would soon change. A warm arm wrapped about Still's shoulders as Carnelian started to walk slowly in the direction of one of the upscale seafood restaurants he usually passed on the way to work. Was that presumptuous? Thinking that the Senshi of Ships might like seafood? What if she didn't? She'd probably say something about it. Carnelian was aware of some changes that take place from coming into the Negaverse from elsewhere... Still seemed just as sweet as before. "Lace is a lovely little kitten who works with senshi like you and I. She has a twin brother who... could use more hugs, I think, but Lace? Lace is wonderful. You simply should meet her someday. Sweet as pie. And speaking of pie, what do you say to seafood? I know of a lovely place not too far from here. My treat~?"

Stillwaterite perked up at this bit of information. "Oh! I've heard about the little guardians!" She hadn't seen any yet though, and she really wanted to, because cats! Talking guardian cats! But even better...apparently there were kittens. "Ah, that sounds wonderful!" Hopefully she liked seafood...well, she was about t find out. "You're very kind." She beamed. Lucifer Force FIN! Sounds awesome WHAT A GOOD DAD
