heidi dresses in loose fitting clothing made of lightweight material, such as chiffon or cotton. her usual outfits will consist of loose fitting blouses or shirts and a skirt. pants are not her thing, but when they are needed, she tries to keep it chic with ankle length skinny jeans. with a name like heidi flowers, one would be surprised that heidi has sworn off of floral print clothing. while she does occasionally pin fresh cuts and blooms into her hair, she'd rather be caught dead than caught wearing anything type of clothing with flowers on them. heidi is very particular with what she wears, and despite that she says she's not fashion forward, if she can't slay in an outfit, she won't wear it. same goes for makeup. her looks got to kill. her signature look, however, is her ponytail, and she'll rarely style her hair in any other way.

███████♡ STORY !
CHILDHOOD born in canalave city, heidi grew up listening to the sound of waves crashing against rocky bluffs. her parents had both lived in the same city their entire lives, and heidi intended to do the same. there was just something so enchanting about the sea -- blue, vast, and endless. it gave them everything they needed. mom and dad were engineers that both specialized in naval crafts. despite sleepy canalave couldn't compare to slateport or the other great port cities, there was still enough traffic for heidi's parents to make their livelihood. it was a good life. no worries at all. heidi went to school and did other things kids did her age. no matter how busy she was, though, she'd always make time to watch the ships go sailing.
TEENAGE YEARS her parents were never too keen on letting their children go on a pokemon journey. in this day and age, they argued, no one needed to go on a journey like it was some sort of rite of passage anymore. they were concerned of their children's safety, like any parent would, yet, instead of loosening their reigns, they simply tightened them. of all of heidi's siblings, only her eldest brother was given the luxury to explore his home region. however, after adventuring for a month or so, he returned, bitter and jaded, saying that the trainer lifestyle was not for him. his experiences became the prime example, and the rest of the flowers children fell into line. after him, not one child left the house to explore. instead, education became the main pursuit.
YOUNG ADULTHOOD heidi completed secondary school and university. she had initially intended on studying engineering, like her parents, but later opted to study the ocean and coastal pokemon habitats. once of out college, she lived at home for a few years. however, the routine of it all quickly wore her away. it was time for a fresh start, a new journey, and what would be better than going on a pokemon journey? better late than never. heidi packed her bags and told her parents she was off for a new job in alola. it was easier to tell them that she had a research project in hau'oli city than it was to tell them she was going to adventure. so far, it's been great. the salty ocean breeze and the warm island sun have been doing wonders for her mood. there hasn't been one regret yet.
Outside the lab, the tropical sun shone brightly and relentlessly. Heidi raised a hand to shield her eyes at the sun and squinted out at the Melemele Sea. The blue stretched endlessly into the horizon, and there was some weird sense of comfort in the everlasting forever that the sea brought. She could be standing here in Alola and still be connected to the home she loved by the sea. The thought gave her strength to continue with this journey. Surely she'd be more successful than her older brother, or, that's what she wished.
"Let's, go Goldie. We should head back to Hau'oli City." Iki Town could be reached from Route 1 as well, but from what she'd heard, Iki Town was a dead end. There wasn't anything up there besides the kahuna and the Ruins of Conflict. She'd make it there in due time if she was successful with her first island trial. For now, Hau'oli City was her destination, specifically the boutique. This much sun wasn't good for her skin or her eyes. How stupid of her to forget both a hat and some sunglasses. At least she had sunscreen. For now, the lotion would have to do the job protecting her.
