Tᴀᴛᴛᴏᴏ / Mᴀʀᴋɪɴɢs: No tattoos, but plenty of small scars on her knuckles and hands. She has several large scars on her abdomen and chest.

Hᴇɪɢʜᴛ: 5'7"

Wᴇɪɢʜᴛ: 147lbs

Pʜʏsɪǫᴜᴇ: Slim, but toned. She walks pretty much everywhere she goes, and does a lot of cardio workouts. She doesn't hit as hard as a lot of the people around her, but she can definitely do more damage than an average 17 year old.

Eᴛʜɴɪᴄɪᴛʏ: Fioran with Andromedan ancestry (Italian and Irish mix, for real world analogue)

Hᴀɪʀ Cᴏʟᴏʀ: Red. The deep, scarlet red of a sunset. She has a single lock of lavender hair at the right side of her temple, just at the edge of her forehead. It goes all the way from the roots to the tip of her hair, and does not fade or grow out the way dyed hair would.

Mᴀɢɪᴄ/Aᴜʀᴀ Cᴏʟᴏʀ: Deep, deep pink.

Sᴛʀᴇɴɢᴛʜs:
Close Ranged Combat.
Her Ability to Read Minds, Emotions, and Souls.
She owns three powerful relics of Divine providence, giving her immense advantages against evil or demonic/devilish enemies.
Her soul-based casting results in very strong spells, and a seemingly deep reserve to draw on.

Wᴇᴀᴋɴᴇssᴇs:
Being able to read hearts, minds, and souls is immensely taxing on her psyche and body.
Large crowds, or large amounts of negative emotions can disorient or leave her unconscious.
Her magics are all tied directly to her soul, and most of them use it as fuel.
While not of Celestious or Divine ancestry, Rosa's Nails are weak against God-Slaying Magics, and also have limitations on how and when they can be used.
The fact that her magic uses her soul as fuel means that she must be careful, or she could easily leave herself unconscious, comatose, dead, or worse.

Wᴇᴀᴘᴏɴ: Amoracchius: Though the weapon itself is not Amoracchius, it bears the Nail that is. This weapon is immune to darkness, demonic/devilish, curses (Curse Magic and Etherious Curses), and other magics of "evil" types. The sword is incredibly effective against evil humans, and is 1/3 as effective on etherious and demons as devil slaying magic. The Nail is indestructible, but the rest of the sword is not. When in Rosa's hand, she gains a 15% resistance to Curses, Curse magic, and Darkness magic.

Aʀᴍᴏʀ: Esperacchius: This armor bears the Nail that gives it the nom de guerre. It, like it's counterpart Amoracchius, is immune to darkness, demonic/devilish, curses (Curse Magic and Etherious Curses), and other magics of "evil" types. The Nail is indestructible, but the rest of the armor is not. When worn, she gains a 20% resistance to Curses, Curse magic, and Darkness magic.

Any of a few different bucklers Rosa keeps for different uses.

Eǫᴜɪᴘᴍᴇɴᴛ:
Fidelacchius: This simple wooden cross has had the vertical section replaced with a simple, gnarled old nail. It, like the others of its trio, is immune to darkness, demonic/devilish, curses (Curse Magic and Etherious Curses), and other magics of "evil" types. The Nail is indestructible, but the rest of the necklace is not. When worn, Rosa gains a 15% resistance to Curses, Curse magic, and Darkness magic.

A flask of blessed oil, rigged to light itself when it breaks.
A first response medical kit. The sort used by paramedics and emergency response units. (Includes bandages, antivenom for several well known snakes, spiders, and plants, pain killers, coagulants, stitching kit, antiseptics.)

Assorted bracelets, anklets, small gem stones, and rings. Each has been used as a focus for her Infuse spell.

Fɪɢʜᴛɪɴɢ Tʏᴘᴇ(s):
Rosa has studied several schools of fencing and generalized swordsmanship. She's not a master, but she is highly skilled with her broadsword. She focuses on letting her small frame and accurate strikes win the day for her, instead of delivering massive blows. Defensively, she parries with her bucklers to give herself an opening for the strike she needs to win.

Brawler: She doesn't have any particular fighting style barehanded, but she is more than capable of throwing a nasty right hook or an unexpected knee.

Sᴘᴇᴄɪᴀʟ Aʙɪʟɪᴛʏ:
Empathy: Rosa is a powerful Empath (She can sense, feel, and understand the emotions of others to varying degrees), but she lacks the ability to forcibly stop using this ability. Overexposure to extremely strong, or negative emotions can cause her psychic pain bordering on the physical. She has trained to resist their effects to some degree, but she is still susceptible. Large crowds cause her trouble, so she avoids them when she can.

Her current range is one mile, with the accuracy of her sense getting less distinct past a quarter mile. She can only get very accurate readings from people she knows well or is around a lot. Everyone else still gives vague background "noise", with a closer proximity creating a louder "noise". Stronger emotions still come across more potently than weak or hidden ones. Extremely large emotional spikes may ping momentarily past her normal range, but not with much of any precision or clarity. The exception is anyone who she has Soul Gazed.

Telepathy: Rosa is a powerful Telepath, allowing her to sense, see, hear, and understand the thoughts of others around her. Currently, she can only read the minds of those she is directly touching or has Soul Gazed. Negative or evil thoughts can cause her psychic pain bordering on the physical. She has trained to resist their effects to some degree, but she is still susceptible. Large crowds cause her trouble, so she avoids them when she can. Being in direct contact with the person in question will allow her almost perfect reading, but with some margin for error. The thoughts of people she doesn't know well can be indistinct or clear, depending on how loud/clear the thoughts are.

Second Soul: Due to an accident with her magic, Rosa absorbed the soul and consciousness of her former partner, Carmellia. This means she knows everything that Carmellia knew, and has all of her physical memories as well, and echoes of her emotions. At will, she can call upon Carmellia's knowledge and memories, giving her an advantage in certain situations.
She is capable of conversing with Carmellia inside her own mind (I say capable of, but she couldn't stop hearing Carmellia even if she wanted to), but one might be capable of hearing Carmellia if they had strong empathic, telepathic, or soul reading magic.

Journeyman Blacksmith: She maintains her own armor and weapon, but that is about the extent of her skill.

Enhanced Stamina: From wearing and training in armor so much. Enough to be walking around in that armor all day without any issue, or run a couple hours in it before beginning to tire.

Enhanced Strength: From building up muscle mass to move in her heavy armor. Enough to send a person into a standard seven foot high ceiling with an uppercut.

Enhanced Dexterity and Agility when not wearing armor. Not a huge improvement, but notable enough to let her dodge some attacks she couldn't in her armor.

◎◎ Main Magic: Anima del Fuocco ◎◎

◎ Rosa's magic allows her to use her "soul" as a sort of fuel for a large array of magics.
Most people get very bothered by the idea of using/losing part of their soul, but what most people do not realize is that our souls are constantly being damaged and regenerated.

Positive things (Something that makes you happy, something that makes you feel better about yourself, eating a favorite food or drinking a favorite drink, the feel of a lover's hand in your own, etc.) all regenerate the soul to some degree or another. Time to rest also naturally restores the soul.

Negative things (Feeling fear, or any other negative emotion, like grief or doubt, fatigue, etc.) all cause some level of damage or hampering to the soul.

In all actuality, Soul Fire is fueled from the user's entire being - not only from the 'soul' but the amalgamation of what makes the Self (a product of every decision made, every thought we have, every action done), and that it is the user's entire being and identity that fuels it.

BASIC SPELLS
» Surface Reading: This spell allows Rosa to get a more in depth reading of a person's soul if she can make contact with them, an item they are touching, recently touched, or have owned/used/wielded for a long enough time. To this end, she can learn a good deal about a person's way of thinking, and can help her get a measure of the person in question.
It does not allow her to read the mind or know the thoughts or secrets of the person in question, except in the most extreme and extended circumstances.

» Close the Book: Rosa developed this spell to shut her off from a Reading immediately. In the course of training herself in her magic, Rosa encountered extreme darkness, evil, and dark emotions in people. To preserve her sanity and emotional stability, she made this spell as a fail safe. If she uses this, it locks her Reading ability for anywhere from a few hours to a week.

» Infuse
After watching Shade Magic, she learned a basic tenet of it's arts: How to infuse the souls of others into items. However, she was unwilling to use other souls, so she used chunks of her own, instead. The amount of her own soul she puts into an object determines it's strength, and limits the magic that can be woven into it. The furthest she has ever gone is three fourths of her soul at once, and she slept for a week afterwards.

» Battery
Rosa has a finite resource in casting her spells, so she worked for the last two years of her life on a way to circumvent it. When she saw Shade Magic, she found her answer: Batteries. By using a durable and receptive enough object, Rosa can create a receptacle for a chunk of her soul, that she can later use.
The largest battery she has made is equivalent to 10% of her soul.
These batteries degrade over time, and within a year of their creation, lose all remnants of Rosa's infused soul.

» Weave Into the Folds
By working with another wizard, Rosa can infuse part of their magic into an item along with a piece of her own soul, allowing the other wizard to turn it into anything they can think of: A landmine, a battery of their own, a grenade,
a spell focus, a defensive charm, etc. If their magic can do it, the item can be used to reproduce it's effect. Though, the item needs to fit with the magic in question, and must have some personal connection to the other wizard. The more powerful the magic, the more personal and well made the item must be.

» Reassemble
If Rosa has imbued an item with a piece of her soul, she can repair that item if it is damaged or destroyed. The more of her soul in the item, the more damage she can repair.

» Convoke
Rosa can speak into the mind of anyone whom she has used her Reading ability on, or if they hold an item with a piece of her soul. They can immediately choose to shut her out, so it has no real combat purposes, but it makes a great communication spell.
Alternately, those holding items with a piece of her can speak in to her mind. She can immediately shut them out as well, which she has been known to do.

» Invoke
Rosa can teleport herself anywhere that there is a piece of her soul. It takes her a few minutes to locate and focus on that piece in order to teleport to it. Because of the time it takes to focus the spell, it is ill suited for quick escapes in the heat of battle.
She can pull anyone and anything that is touching her along with.

» Revoke
She can, at any time, cancel any use of her Imbue spell. Doing so negates, voids, and instantly disintegrates the portion of her soul used to create the item. She developed this as a fail safe to keep people from using her own magic against her.

» Rebuke
If Rosa understands the structure of a spell, either by using her Sight spell,
or if she has seen it used at least once, or more, depending on the complexity of the spell, she can cancel the spell out, causing it to fizzle.

» Denial
Through use of the Rebuke spell, Rosa can slowly learn to cancel any spell of the same element or type. It takes a long time, and many uses of Rebuke,
but eventually she can nullify an element completely.
Fire:3% progress
Water: 2% progress
Ice: 3% progress
Wind: 1% progress
Earth: 2% progress
She has not encountered many other kinds.

» Veil
Rosa can hide her presence from others, magical, spiritual, mental, emotional, and other less corporeal presences. She cannot, however, hide her physical presence: her scent, her sounds, her physical form, etc. This can be pierced if someone else is capable of nullifying spells or breaking illusions, but not otherwise.

» Fabricate
Rosa can create a pseudo-physical clone of herself to act as a decoy. It looks, talks, acts, feels, thinks, and moves just like Rosa. The only difference is that it cannot use spells, can only make limited physical contact with others, and is 1/2 inch shorter than Rosa.
It knows everything she knows, and whatever it learns while separate from Rosa, she learns as well. The extent of it's physical capabilities are likely holding a pen/pencil and note pad and taking notes, flipping the pages of a book to study, etc. Sometimes it can withstand doing dishes for a couple of hours, if she puts enough into it.

ADVANCED SPELLS
» Soulgaze: Less a spell and more of a facet of Rosa's magic itself: When she and a being with a soul look each other in the eyes, it begins what is known as a soulgaze. It gives the other a window into their soul, which can't be faked. It doesn’t relay specific information (you can’t use it to interrogate someone), but it does give one a vague impression on whether they’re trustworthy or not, or if they've been psychically harmed, etc. Just like if she were to use her Sight, the memory of the gaze doesn’t fade with time, being as sharp years later as when it happened. The person in question gets a look into Rosa's soul, and she into theirs, like a two-way mirror.

» Sight: Use of the Sight, sometimes also referred to as "third eye", allows Rosa to gaze upon the world and see its spiritual side, allowing the perception of things hidden to the normal eye. It can pierce veils, illusions, everything. What has been seen through the use of the Sight will remain a lasting memory forever, and will neither fade nor be forgotten. Because of this, Rosa doesn't use it often, for it could drive her insane.
It is capable of allowing Rosa to see through any illusion, and even into the structure and nature of another Wizard's spells. Use of this spell is moderately taxing on Rosa, and is another reason why she rarely uses it.

» Reciprocation: By taking a small piece of the target's soul, Rosa replaces it with a larger portion of her own soul, using that to replace lost vitality and heal wounds. If the remnants of the target's soul are insufficient for the cost of the ability, it takes the portion of the soul permanently, and leaves the target dead instead. Doing so risks driving Rosa insane, and leaves an active, sentient portion of the soul roaming in her mind. This spell cannot be used offensively, and requires far too much patience, focus, and control to be used in open combat.

If the user's soul is insufficient to fuel the healing needed, and the user depletes their soul, it is transferred to the target of the healing, who also receives her conscience, and that of any others in her mind.
If nothing goes wrong, the target is healed of their wounds. Rosa is left a bit exhausted, weakened, and probably drowsy, but otherwise okay. This ability can heal up to catastrophic wounds, but is very risky.

» Enhance: By using up a certain amount of her own soul over a short period of time, Rosa can enhance her speed, strength, durability, flexibility, and agility at the cost of stamina. She needs to constantly monitor how much she is using, or she runs the very real risk of destroying herself with this ability.

3% of her soul per post gives her a 25% boost in her physical attributes while causing a 30% additional drain on her Stamina.
5% of her soul per post gives her a 50% boost in her physical attributes, with a 50% drain on her Stamina.
15% of her soul per post doubles her physical attributes, but causes an 80% drain on her physical stamina, and begins to put her body into a state of agony.
She once tried to push it as high as 25% per post, but the agony caused her to pass out within 10 seconds. She did not wake for 2 weeks. And she woke up in a hospital.
She can only change the amount of her soul she is using up per post once every other post. Once she ends the technique, she cannot use it again for 10 posts. Depending on how much she uses up, her body will go numb, she will feel pain, and possibly even risk going into shock.

Once the technique ends, Rosa runs a serious risk of falling unconscious for a protracted period of time.

» Recreate: Rosa can, with enough practice, recreate spells from other schools. This does not include Holder Magic. Her limit right now is low-level basic spells, and they take a larger strain on her than would be expected for such weak spells. The major difference is that they are pale, whitish recreations of the spells, and all take a portion of her soul to cast.
She developed this skill after observing wizards who used Copy/Mirror magics. She is still learning the ins and outs, and is constantly improving the effectiveness of her copied spells. She cannot recreate most Lost magics, or any Holder Spells. She cannot recreate any Takeover Spells, nor can she copy Slayer Spells.

Presently, she can recreate basic spells from fire, water, earth, and wind schools, if she sees them used three times. She can recreate other spirit based, basic magics if she sees them used twice.

The maximum number of spells she can keep memorized for copying at this point is seven.

» Spell Reinforcement: Rosa can further enhance her magic by pouring her soul into a spell she is casting. This enhances the power of the spell, makes it more physical, and can even change the essential shape and function, given the circumstances and intention of the casting. Every 5% of her soul adds an additional 50% power to the spell, up to 25% of her soul on one spell.

» Deep Reading: By focusing more, and making long, unbroken contact with the target, Rosa can put herself into the person's place within their own memories. This allows her to literally live through the target's memories, feeling and knowing what they felt and knew at the time. It is limited in accuracy by the quality and accuracy of the memory. She cannot change any aspect of what is happening, and is forced to endure every physical, mental, and emotional impact that happened during the memory.



◎◎ Sub Magic: Knight of the Cross Magic◎◎

◎ While in possession of any of the three Nails, Rosa gains access to powerful, anti demon/devil abilities, and protective spells. The more Rosa follows the guidance of and trusts in their will, the stronger they become for her. This is true of any being who wields a Nail, or anything that has a Nail in it.


» Fidelacchius:
The Nail that embodies Faith in all its forms. This Nail's goals and habits are the ones that have most adapted to Rosa. It is secretive and cunning in how it influences Rosa's life and fate, but has only done things that wind up being good for her or others around her.

BASIC SPELLS

» Rise: This spell causes the pendant Rosa wears to glow, and Rosa sprouts a pair of downy white wings, allowing her to fly for as long as she can maintain the spell. It uses up a considerable amount of her magic, or a small amount from her soul to maintain. The wings are made of energy condensed to solid form, and are about as strong as steel, defensively.

» Enigmatic Directions: When the Nails, or whatever divine patron is behind them, deems it to be time for Rosa to act, the Nail gives her a vague but firm sense that she needs to be a certain place, and directs her there: insistently if it needs to.

» Seek Guidance: By concentrating and praying for guidance, Rosa can be directed by the Nail to a specific individual. It cannot take her to a desired place, only to a specific person. If they are on the move, she may need to stop and seek guidance again. This can take anywhere from an hour to a minute, depending on how far away she is.

» Redirect: Fidelacchius is capable of directing Rosa away from situations that she cannot handle. She is allowed to ignore the foreboding and warning the Nail gives her, at her own risk.

ADVANCED SPELLS

» Archangel's Discretion: For one hour in any day, Rosa's actions are undetectable by the scrying/spying/watching effects of any evil being or person. She has no control over when this happens, and only seems to come in to play when it is most needed.


» Amoracchius:
The Nail that embodies Love in all its forms. The strength of this Nail is immense, matching the other two put together. It is the most ready to lend itself to the defeat and downfall of evil in any form. It is also the most stringent in how its values are to be upheld.

BASIC SPELLS

» Chastise: When in the presence of an evil person, devil, or demon, Rosa radiates a thirty foot aura that causes those beings to shy back. Those who are stronger than Rosa can resist or ignore this effect.

» True Light: At will, Rosa can cause her blade to shine in a silver light, strong enough to make it day bright for sixty feet around her. Against demons and devils, it is even harsher.

ADVANCED SPELLS

» Archangel's Flame: By using her Anima del Fuocco with Amoracchius, Rosa can cause the blade to burst into intense silver flames. They do not burn people who are good, those who are innocent, or those who have surrendered. To demons, devils, and halfling etherious, it burns as if it were a high-level fire spell.


» Esperacchius:
The Nail that embodies Hope in all its forms. This Nail is the most defensively oriented of the trio. It is the most willing to lend itself in defense of the helpless. Often, this means putting Rosa into harm's way to protect others.

BASIC SPELLS

» Hallowed Ground: Any area of unworked stone or dirt that Rosa walks upon while in possession of Esperacchius creates an aura that makes it harder for Curses, and Curse magic to be worked. Evil people, demons, devils, and Half-Etherious glow to Rosa while in this area, as if they had a stark black outline.

» Rallying Bastion: By taking a defensive stance, Rosa can form a glowing barrier in front of her or three people other than herself. The barrier is capable of protecting her from a B-Rank spell. It is capable of protecting others from up to S-Rank spells. Those protected by this barrier can see through any non physical attack hitting the barrier as through it wasn't there, but only until the barrier breaks.

» Deny Passage: Rosa can cordon off a line ten feet long that no evil foe of hers or anyone under her protection can cross. Nor can their attacks cross it. It has no effect against those who aren't evil. Those who are significantly more powerful than Rosa can force their way through it. One can also just go around, if doing so is physically possible.

ADVANCED SPELLS

» Bestow Protection: Rosa can teleport her armor, along with Esperacchius onto an ally within range. The armor molds to their form temporarily, giving them all the protection of the nail and the armor. Additionally, it creates an extremely powerful barrier around the recipient for three posts, protecting them from all but the strongest attacks of Demons and Devils. Otherwise, it provides protection from attacks up to just below S-rank. After this is used, Rosa's armor must be refitted and reforged to fit her again.

» Archangel's Protection: Rosa's abilities grow stronger if outnumbered by Evil foes.
3:1 Adds 1/2 onto the range, effectiveness, and duration of her abilities.
5:1 Doubles the effectiveness of her abilities, and gives her a twenty percent boost to her agility, strength, and stamina.
She has never been outnumbered beyond 5:1, so she has no ideas how much further the ability will strengthen her in such a circumstance.


◎◎ Sub Magic: Requip ◎◎

◎ She uses this simply to be able to not have to carry her sword, armor, and shield everywhere.

BASIC SPELLS
» Bucklers: Rosa has a dozen nearly identical bucklers, sized, fitted, and balanced to be ideal for her to use without unbalancing her sword arm.

» Amoracchius: The sword listed in her equipment section, and the Nail built in to it are summoned to her hand.

» Esperacchius: Rosa uses this to summon her armor, and the nail built into the neck guard, onto her body. It is fitted to her body, and lined on the inside with a thin, kevlar-like material.


◎◎ Sub Magic: Extra-Sensory Amplification Magic ◎◎

◎ By putting magical power into her inborn Telepathic and Empathic abilities, Rosa can cause them to sharpen, or expand in range or magnitude, or even narrow their focus to a single person.

BASIC SPELLS
» Extend Range: This spell allows her to expand the range of her Empathy to twice the normal range, for up to an hour. Doing so puts an immense strain on her psyche, so she is remiss to use this for more than a couple of minutes at a time. Anything more than five minutes guarantees her a migraine. Anything past half an hour will put her to sleep for a solid twelve hours, and guarantees hangover-like symptoms upon waking.

By pushing herself harder, she can go up to three times the normal limit, but doing so reduces the time she can maintain it proportionally.

» Locking On: Rosa can pend time searching for the emotions of anyone with range of her Empathy, tracking them for as long as she can focus on their emotions. Doing so strains her psyche considerably, so she has to be careful not to render herself unconscious using this ability.

» Emotional/Mental Soothing: This spell allows Rosa to smooth over and adjust surface level damage or instabilities in a person's psyche. She can only do so in order to help a person, not to maliciously or dishonestly change their thoughts and emotions to suit her needs.

» Emotional/Mental Probing: By focusing on a certain individual's emotions or thoughts and making direct physical contact, Rosa can see into their pysche, experiencing their emotions and thoughts on a significantly deeper level than her usual surface readings. This can be resisted, however, by those with strong wills, or training against mental/emotional intrusion.

» Dampening: Rosa can dampen the sounds, feeling of, images of, and every other aspect of either her empathy or telepathy for up to an hour. She cannot dampen both at once, and cannot completely shut either off. In exchange, the ability she is not Dampening becomes stronger by the same degree the other is hampered. Doing this puts a small strain on her, and can be dangerous over a long period of time.

» Emotion/Thought Sharing: Rosa can share thoughts and emotions with any person she has met within range of her Empathy or anyone currently affected by her Telepathy through Contact or Soul Gazing. Unwilling recipients can tune out what is being shared with them, but doing so takes a measure of focus, depending on their magical strength, mental conditioning, and resistance to psychic intrusion. Mostly, Rosa uses this to get her intentions across to people more easily.

ADVANCED SPELLS
» Distant Reading: Rosa can, with immense effort, dig deeply into the emotions of a single target within 200 feet of her. The target can resist, given they understand that someone is digging into their psyche. She cannot change any emotions while doing this. She can only maintain this for ten minutes.

» Willing Alterations: When a person asks for Rosa to alter memories or emotions, she becomes able to do so, but only within the context requested. She cannot remove a memory, or make unwanted falsifications, but she can alter pretty much any other aspect of a memory. She has most often been asked to bury or make a memory clearer.

» Action Reading: By studying a target's thoughts, emotions, and movements in a fight for at least five minutes, Rosa can begin understanding how a foe or an ally will move and when they might act. The longer she has had to study the same individual, the more accurate her predictions become. If she has Soulgazed someone, her predictions of their actions become nearly flawless. Being able to predict their actions does not guarantee that she will be able to do anything about them.

◎◎ Ultimate Magic Attacks ◎◎

» Michael's Blade: After building up energy and focus for a period of time (15 combat posts), the blade of Rosa's Amoracchius becomes a blade of pure holy energy, allowing her to cut through demonic or devilish foes like wheat before a scythe. This form cannot hurt anything that is not evil. Any evil being within 100 feet will feel this ability activate, and understand immediately the blade's limitations and inherent danger to them.
This form only lasts seven posts. After that, the ability cannot be used again for one week.

» Uriel's Machinations: On the rarest of occasions, Rosa's fate is changed. Once every ten years, if she would be killed, she miraculously survives. This is not a guarantee he will remain unharmed, just that she will survive the injury. The first time this occurred was when she was three. The second time was four years ago, when she nearly died in the crossfire of a dark guild and a legal guild. It has yet to come back to her, and she doesn't even realize this blessing is upon her.

» Smiling Soul: Rosa's emotions now deeply impact her magical and physical strength. Stronger emotions cause a stronger impact. When she is happy, angry, enraged, brave, feeling love/loved, or other positive emotions, she becomes stronger. Being hungry also makes her slightly stronger.

Fear, sorrow, general upsetness, despair, hopelessness, self-loathing, loneliness, etc. all make her weaker. Being thirsty makes her weaker.

Boredom, tiredness, and lust are all neutral, but add to whichever emotional swing is stronger (I.E. if happy mood, bored and tired would add to it. If sad mood, they would add to that instead.)

Day-to-day emotional swings result in minor fluctuations (5-10% difference in strength) at most, but particularly strong emotional peaks and troughs can give her/reduce her roughly 50% in power. Extremely high highs and lows might see her temporarily (1-3 posts) double her current strength, or reduce her to 25% strength.

Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: Rosa is bubbly, happy-go-lucky, a total tomboy, and an optimist. She wants to see the best in everyone, and tends to overlook a person's flaws, regardless of how blatant they may be. She is, however, very in tune with the emotions of those around her. She can feel even small emotions quite clearly, and because of this, has problems being in large crowds alone (There have been moments when she has passed out or simply blacked out and wandered off, only to be found sitting in an alley, or any other unpopulated place.

She is loyal, loving, and gentle in nature as well, finding herself constantly helping wounded, sick, or needy people above her own well being. In stark contrast to this, people who are doing wrong by the helpless, defenseless, or vulnerable get to meet the fierce, merciless, brutally bawl-happy Rosa who has no problems jumping into a fight to protect those who need it.

To top it all off, Rosa was raised in a relatively sheltered home, and as such is quite naive to the ways of the world. She isn't stupid by any means, and in fact has proven herself to be quite intelligent overall, especially when it comes to understanding other people, and either complimenting or countering their personality.

In contrast to all of this, Carmellia, the soul of her deceased unrequited love interest is motivated by food and other, more carnal desires. She loves ogling women, and is distrustful, rude, and almost hateful towards any man who approaches "her" Rosa. When it comes down to it, however, Carmellia is a protective, guiding soul who directs Rosa in the right direction: usually towards food and away from danger. She tells Rosa useful things, converses with her, and otherwise acts just like anyone might expect a friend to behave around their partner. The biggest difference is that Carmellia exists only within Rosa's own soul and mind. Others who gain a level of companionship and/or friendship with Rosa, and a certain level of physical intimacy may be able to perceive her presence, but it would be difficult. Likewise, other beings able to see/hear/feel, etc. spirits or read minds might be able to tell that there is another soul inside of her.

Bɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ: When Rosa was three, her mother vanished. When she was nine, her father, a gifted user of both requip and Takeover magic, passed away. She never learned if it was an accident or in some battle, but she knew she was alone. So, taking her family inheritance (which consisted of three odd nails, a small fortune, and her mother's jewelry), She set out to teach herself magic. She resolved to survive by her own strength if she had to. So, she started with requip, on of her father's specialties. For her own safety, she chose a shield and a spear. After a month, however, she realized her mother had left a different magic to her: That of the Soul. She overdid it at first, and nearly killed herself with it, falling unconscious in the middle of the woods.

When she awoke, it was to her great confusion, fear, and worry. She had all of her belongings with her. What would she do if someone had robbed her? Pleasantly enough, the same person who brought her to the hospital had brought everything she owned there as well. The doctors said she had remained until they announced for sure that Rosa was going to be okay. There was a note explaining that the woman in question had found her there, and rushed her to the hospital along with all of her belongings. It also went on to say that she would have felt bad robbing a child, so she had not taken anything. Immediately, Rosa decided she needed to properly thank her mysterious savior. So with nothing more than a vague description, she set out to find the woman who had saved her from dying in the woods.

While searching for her rescuer, Rosa met Ale, and the two became fast friends. Though, their travelling together did not last long, Rosa left her new friend with a token that would allow them to keep in touch, no matter the distance. Though it's power faded within a year, they promised to meet again one day.

In the fall, when she was 11, she found her savior: An 18 year old young woman by the name of Carmellia. Her Lavender hair and eyes had been a dead giveaway, but actually finding her had taken the better part of a year and a half. It was not without some matter of begging and pleading on Rosa's behalf that Carmellia agreed to let the young girl accompany her. For nearly two years, Rosa traveled together with Carmellia, and was happy. She finally had a female role model in her life... and after three years together, she realized that she was in love. Shortly thereafter, she finally gained a grasp on her magic, and the nature of the items left behind to her from her parents. The nails: Sacred Relics. They bore incredible strength which Rosa could not quite comprehend. But she bound them to the strongest weapon and shield she could manage, turning them into her own personal accouterments. And as she grew into her Soul based magic, she poured pieces of herself into her Mother's jewelry, turning them into a fallback plan so that she could use her magic with less of a direct risk to her well being. Beside her beloved Carmellia, with her father's weaponry protecting her and her mother's jewelry and inherited magic sustaining her, she was happy. Whether the road be fair or harsh, she knew what she wanted from life: To be by Carmellia's side for as long as she possibly could. One day, she hoped to marry her older counterpart, but knew that her traveling companion would never think of her that way.

But through some cruelty of fate, they became caught in the cross-fire of a battle between guilds, and both were fatally wounded. In Rosa's desperation, she tried to use her soul to heal Carmellia's body and soul at the cost of her own. It was the first time she tried to use her magic in such a way, and the untested spell went haywire, instead sapping the remnants of her lover's soul and patching Rosa's own instead. She did not have time to comprehend, or even realize what had happened before she fell into a coma.

She did not wake for months. But when she did, it was panicked and confused. When she found out what happened, she broke down and began lashing out violently; so badly that they need to sedate her to keep her from hurting herself with her thrashing. Eventually, a few months later when she was released, she visited her love's grave. While she was at the grave, she began hearing her lover's voice, and after looking around, wrote it off as just her mind trying to find signs of her where there were none. As time slowly drug on for her though, she heard the voice more and more and more. Eventually, she fell into heavy drinking in order to try and drown it out, believing she'd gone insane with grief.

It was during this time that she came to the Sabertooth guild, seeking a place to stay. They took her in, and slowly but surely her heavy drinking dwindled off. There were times, throughout the following year, that she would relapse and fall into massive alcoholic fits, trying to escape the grief she could not bring herself to handle alone. As the months drug on, however, Rosa came to the understanding that she was not insane: Carmellia, or some fraction of her, remained. Rosa would still have her savior on hand, until the day she died. This realization spurned a final wave of alcoholic binges as she tried to drown out not grief, but guilt.

And then it happened. Amidst a massive hangover and Ale's berating voice, Rosa realized that she wasn't to blame for Carmellia's death. For the first time in the two years since the woman's passing, Rosa finally, fully felt her partner's presence in her soul, around her body, and in her life. The joy brought her to tears, much to Ale's confusion and concern. It was not long until Ale invited Rosa to be her roommate. Rosa happily, and thankfully agreed on the spot. In the last year, Rosa's drinking has dwindled off to almost nothing, though the urges remain.

She has made astounding progress with her magics, growing stronger and more skilled as the days pass. She has been acting as a mental and emotional health advocate and counselor within the guild, doing her best to help others with deep emotional and mental scars. That, along with the friends she has made, and Carmellia's repeated insistence on being there for Rosa and that she isn't mad and doesn't blame Rosa have helped her truly begin recovering and moving forward with her life.

Ale is Rosa's first friend, and having known her off and on for eight years, they know eachother very well. Rosa keeps Ale safe from her impulsive curiosity as best she can, and in turn realizes that Ale protects her from her own self-destructive tendencies. She used to have a crush on her, but having seen into Ale's soul, mind, and heart, she realized it just wasn't meant to be. She's fine with that, and is happy being her friend and assistant.
