Backstage in the locker room area, Matt Gennison would be doing preparations before his match, He would drink a usual coke before heading out to all his matches. Taking a piss or a number two would never be on his mind, because he trained his body over time to not worry about having to go to the bathroom before matches. Matt got nervous before every match, but that was really only the kid in him. All his life he wanted to be a wrestler, alongside his childhood friend Trent, and a person he's been to wrestling schools with, Aleks Mason. Tonight, just like every other night would be show time, and Matt was going to give it his all. Leaving the locker room, with his jacket in hand, he would approach someone that worked backstage, asking them to help strap his CWF Championship around his waist. He normally didn't wear a title around his waist, so he wouldn't know how to do it. Now that his title was around his waist, he would put on his signature entrance jacket one arm after the other, and prepare to leave. he would then walk to gorilla position, waiting for his cue to come out through the curtain. He can hear the ovation of the capacity crowd. It was a beautiful thing to be heard. Then his theme song would hit. Matt would debut a new theme song, indicating a face turn. The theme song would be "The Wings of Icarus" (Version 2) As the intensity of the theme picked up, Matt would walk out a minute and 3 seconds to the theme song.Announcer (JoJo): "The following contest is schedule for one fall! Introducing first, representing The BULLET CLUB from Chicago Illinois, weighing a two-hundred and thirty-two pounds, he is the CWF Champion, MAAAAATT.. GENNISON!"After he had stepped out, receiving a decent pop from the audience that were mostly positive reactions, Matt would stand there on the stage soaking in the glory. Once a nobody indie-darling, now receiving the push the people finally wanted to see. After doing it all in a company he was tied down to, beating all of their top guys, and was only given one mid-card championship run, here he would be with the CWF Championship. Standing on the stage, he would unstrap the championship title from around his waist and raise it above his head, as he would then begin to walk down the ramp,
tossing the championship over his shoulder. Clutching the championship that's over his shoulder, he would high five the audience on his way to the ring, and walk up the steel steps, one step at a time, before coming into the ring through the middle rope. Now in the ring, he would hold his championship high above his head, as the theme would intensify again!

The announcer clutching a microphone in their hand slowly brought it up to their mouth about to begin Roman Reign's introduction. The crowd lowered their volume seeing the gentlemen about to speak. "Making his way to the ring from Pensacola, Florida weighing in at 265 lbs, ROMAN REEEEIIGGGNNNNNNSSS!" the crowd booed loudly with some cheers from his supporters.
Not long after Roman Reigns' music begins to start up courtesy of the PA system, the camera's view shifts to the main stage as the crowd erupts loudly for Reigns' eventual presence. Behind the scenes standing in the Gorilla position with his head down low Roman Reigns soaks it all in calmly looking at down at his pant leg. He was being told his cue was up by CWF personnel shortly after his music went on for sometime. Roman starts up the few steps in his way before moving the black curtain out of his way. Coming out center stage to a strong reaction. The reaction was loud. The crowd all the way for the most part was on his side. He couldn't help but break a smile.
He stands there looking over the CWF fans. Pacing to the center nodding his head at the attendees. Roman takes in a deep breathe and then starts down the ramp. The crowd continues their mixed reaction toward him but to no avail it has little affect on him. If anything he relishes in this type of reaction. He liked it loud. Tonight he has something to say however. As Roman near finishes his descent down the ramp, passing through the fans and making a beeline straight to the end of it's pathway.
Once there, Roman's stride slows down as he approaches the steel steps, places a hand upon the turnbuckle padding looking down at his pant leg, and pulls himself up the steps. Roman looks off at the side, once again taking a long glance at the space around him filled with people, some who support him, some who despise him. With a twitch of his nose, Roman turns back to the ring and now on the apron. Stepping over to the nearest corner, Roman climbs into the second rope and raises his arms above him, posing for the fans for a few brief moments. From here, he wastes little time dropping back to the apron and entering the ring proper, standing inside his corner. "Lets GO ROMAN! ROMAN SUCKS! LETS GO ROMAN! ROMAN SUCKS!" the chant broke out as Roman smirks jumping up and down in this corner awaiting the bell to signal.

While Roman Reigns was making his way to the ring and all the camera attention was him, Matt would be taking off his entrance jacket, and setting it aside onto the ring pole, as he would also give his CWF Championship to the referee, who would hand it to timekeeping. Tonight Matt was facing an all too familiar foe, but a man who he had great respect for, since he was the reason for his in-depth character development today. Tonight was gonna be a slobber knocker, and Matt would warm up, waiting for the sound of the bell, as the people would take their seats after Roman's entrance music faded.

 Roman stood in his respective corner looking at Matt Gennison. A man he's known under several different names. It didn't matter what his name was though. And Roman mouthed something cameras barely caught as the bell ring and he exited his corner slowly.

Matt would exit his corner as well, looking to just go straight in with a collar and elbow tie up!

Knowing Matt couldn't realistically out-powerhouse "The Big Dog" of the Shield, he would quickly think on his feet to transition behind Roman with a waist lock as he backed Matt into the corner!

Matt manages to get behind Roman who tries to pry his hands apart. And send elbows to the champion to give some separation.

Dodging the first elbow, Matt would'be looked to lift Roman off the canvas quickly with a sit out belly to back suplex!

Roman missed wildly with the elbow and found himself surprisingly lifted by Matt and slammed down on his spine feeling a sharp pain immediately.

After slamming Roman down to the canvas, Matt would favor his back a little, seeing that Roman was a little heavier than him. He would get to one knee, before getting to his feet completely.

Roman rolled to his side to relieve some of the pain of that back suplex. The match just started though so he was already on a knee by the time Matt was back up to a vertical base.

Bringing Roman up to his feet, he would attempt to back him up against the ropes, and send a European Uppercut!

Roman ate the European uppercut, his wet hair whipping back and spraying some of the audience. Reigns then looked to return the favor by headbutting Gennison.
